IS THE BBC INSTITUTIONALLY LEFTIST?

Further to David Preiser’s recent point ‘Imagine if one were to accuse the BBC of an institutional Left-wing bias.’  Another of our B-BBC correspondents, Alan, ponders…

The BBC are no doubt revelling in the latest allegations of racism against some police officers. This is the way the Liberal elite seek to whip in their arch enemy with constant politically motivated legal assaults. No doubt some officers are racist…claims that the ‘police’ are institutionally racist is a nonsense unsupported by evidence.

However those who live by the sword die by the sword. If the police can be institutionally racist in the eyes of the legal establishment then so can other organisations.

The BBC for instance.

Lawyer Stephen Sugar attempted to force the BBC to release the Balen Report by means of a freedom of information request. Perhaps that was the wrong approach.

What if it could be shown that Jews died because of BBC anti-Israeli reporting? What if the BBC were ‘Institutionally racist’ or even guilty of inciting terrorism?

Perhaps a call to the Equality and Human Rights Commission calling for an investigation into the BBC’s racism in reporting on the Israel/Palestine conflict might have not only forced the release of the Balen Report but put a few of the BBC reporters and their bosses in the dock.

The BBC are hiding something big. What is the definition of ‘Institutional racism’?

The Macpherson report;

“The collective failure of an organisation to provide an appropriate and professional service to people because of their colour, culture, or ethnic origin. It can be seen or detected in processes, attitudes and behaviour which amount to discrimination through unwitting prejudice, ignorance, thoughtlessness and racist stereotyping which disadvantage minority ethnic people.”

A. Sivanandan, Director, Institute of Race Relations “Institutional racism is that which, covertly or overtly, resides in the policies, procedures, operations and culture of public or private institutions – reinforcing individual prejudices and being reinforced by them in turn.”

The Commission for Racial Equality; “If racist consequences accrue to institutional laws, customs or practices, that institution is racist whether or not the individuals maintaining those practices have racial intentions.”

What would constitute inciting others to commit terrorism?

Terrorism Act 2006

(2) A person commits an offence if—

(a) he publishes a statement to which this section applies or causes another to publish such a statement; and (b) at the time he publishes it or causes it to be published, he…..(ii) is reckless as to whether members of the public will be directly or indirectly encouraged or otherwise induced by the statement to commit, prepare or instigate such acts or offences.

Could the BBC’s coverage fall within those parameters?

If phone hacking a few celebrities almost takes down a company as big as News International just image what confirmation of the BBC’s coverage encouraging attacks on Jews and inciting terrorism would do. The BBC, quite a few senior journalists and their bosses would be toast.

What if Muslim terrorism could be shown to be a response in part not to the rhetoric of right wing politicians but left wing journalism….a result of encouraging, excusing and inciting Muslim anger, discontent and militancy.

What if the Jewish people and French soldiers died in France recently because Mohamed Mehra took his justification from the Leftwing media’s continual stoking of his ‘grievances’ and belief that he was a victim of the Western society and culture…because that is what some like the BBC told him…as John Simpson says….’the riots in France by the Muslim immigrants were due to Muslim’s fury and resentment, bitter grievances, ignored and demeaned, kept in poverty by a system which cares very little about them.’

What if?

Being Had by Has-beens

Hilarious edition of The Reunion radio 4 just now on the Brixton riots.
Discussion between some self-hating policemen, reformed rioters-done-good and Darcus Howe.
Nostalgia for the days when institutionally racist rozzers were outwitted by dem oppressed unemployed rastas, cruelly forced to smoke dope and have loud parties because of hopelessness, uselessness, and being targeted under racist stop’n’search. “Not because street crime was mainly perpetrated by blacks?” asked Sue MacGreg feebly. “We needed to be left alone/provided with jobs ” was the conclusion.
BBC blast-from-the-past Darcus Howe, spokesman for oppressed black communities, kept on and on about his fambley. As if we’ve forgotten all about his notorious spat with Joan Rivers over racism and his abandoned son.

Multiculturalism. Appease it or lookout.

Congressman Allen West (D-FL) Speaks Truth To Islamic Power. Any Thoughts, BBC?

Republican Congressman for Florida, Col. Allen West vs. the Executive Director of the Center for American Islamic Relations (CAIR). No prizes for guessing who comes out on top. Unless, that is, you work for or defend the BBC, in which case this video clip will make your head explode.

The only time the BBC actually mentioned Col. West before was right before the elections last November, where Kevin Connolly (he who insulted hundreds of thousands of people on air and online with a sexual innuendo) briefly discussed one of West’s campaign ads, in which Candidate West tries to discourage voters from choosing his opponent by tying him to the President (not counting the separate page where they posted the ad with a short blurb). He barely got a mention for his victory on election night, as if he didn’t exist and wasn’t a huge smack in the face of the BBC’s lie about how racism is a main factor in the Tea Party movement.

Connolly was unable to process the information even then, and made the following very revealing statement:

It is a common enough practice in tight races where the presence of a political big-shot can tip the balance.

What makes the ad unusual is that it is paid for by a Republican candidate, Allen West and he is gambling that Mr Obama’s intervention in the race will be a plus for him and a negative for his Democratic rival, Ron Klein.

It’s unusual for a Republican to do this? Um, yeah, NO. This is Beeboid Connolly simply unable to grasp the concept of a black man not slavishly (oops!) siding with another black man in politics. Of course, the BBC generally supports and understands people voting along racial lines: when it’s non-whites doing it. So it’s only natural that Connolly would be confused by this black man opposing a black President. Connolly is so out of touch that he also said this:

The biggest single factor contributing to those declining ratings is the economy. There is an iron rule in American politics that when unemployment is high, as it is here in Florida, the presidents gets a pummelling.

But there is more to it than that. Somehow the two signature achievements of Obama’s first two years in the White House are being made to feel like electoral liabilities.

Somehow the “two signature achievements” are made to feel like liabilities? As if those “achievements” aren’t connected to the crap economy in any way? His bias prevented him from grasping two simple concepts. Thankfully, the BBC has since transferred him out of the US.

In any event, don’t hold your breath waiting for the BBC to report this, or anything positive about Congressman West at all. They sure as hell don’t want you to know about this. In fact, this is a discussion forbidden on BBC airwaves by anyone.

Yobborama

Panorama used to be a grown up serious programme. In the olden days. Now it’s more of a pantomime. They set out to prove something to the halfwits they assume are watching. Last night they decided to prove that Asians suffer racial abuse. They set about recruiting two Asians to hang out with hidden cameras, as a kind of undercover honey-trap. Well, they weren’t undercover, they were actual Asians, with religious headdress. That confused some of the target racists into shouting “Paki” or, once, “Jew!” Some of the taunts were undeniably racist. But that’s not what real racism is.

The disgraceful hostility emanating from the lazy goodfornothing lumps of pointlessness we were shown was less an example of Islamophobia than of societal meltdown. I suspect that anyone loitering there would cop it, doubly so if they were wearing identifying apparatus of any kind, be it religious – or any other random sign of weakness, infirmity, or purse carrying. It was a kind of no-go area. So what was Panorama trying to prove?
That they were incompetent documentary makers who had little regard for the intelligence of the audience? They tried to manipulate one of this country’s worst social abominations into a matter of Islamophobic /Asian victimhood, but what they succeeded in showing was their own agenda.

OUR RACIST POLICE (cont)

Wonder how it feels like for British police officers who tune into the BBC only to be met by the chorus that they are “institutionally racist?”. Yet again, “Today” leads with the accusation that racism abounds within the ranks of those who seek to uphold law and order. It’s a favourite theme and I suppose the attendant demoralising of those who go out every day to try and protect the public from crime is a small price to pay for the BBC indulging it’s liberal whims.

STILL INSTITUTIONALLY RACIST?

I see that the BBC gives considerable prominence to to empty-headed wittering of the left wing Runnymede Trust which once again accuses our Police of being “institutionally racist.” At a time when criminals run rampant on our streets and justice is turned into a laughing stock the best the BBC can do is try and further undermine the integrity of those who at least try to uphold law and order by giving the Runnymede Trust a bully-pulpit to conduct their war on policing. Might it be possible to consider the bona fides of this Organisation when presenting their “report”? Could it be that Runnymede is institutionally biased against British Policing? I note the use of the image of Stephen Lawrence in this story, murdered “by white youths” as the BBC solemnly informs. But since then, sadly, many more black youths have lost their lives at the hands of ” black youths” in London. You never get that context. The suggestion running through this entire article is that our Police are racists and the BBC seems very content to spew this out oxic poison out hoping enough of it sticks.

BEHIND BARS…

It’s not JUST our police who are institutionally racist, oh no. It’s also our prison officers and the Beeb has been running with the latest report from Anne Owers, our drippingly liberal Chief Inspector of Prisons. I caught the item on Today prior to 7am and the gist of it was that prison officers were in danger of contributing to the radicalisation of Muslim in-mates in Whitemoor high security prison. The problem is that these officers in Whitemoor tend to treat all of the Muslim inmates as if they are potential security risks whilst only some of them are Islamic terrorists. Now I have to say I think they should be commended for their caution but on the BBC they are condemned for it. You see the narrative is always the same; Muslims need more understanding and special treatment. If Muslims become terrorists, it is our fault. The BBC must just love Anne Owers – the gift that keeps giving – but I wonder what those ordinary prison officers trying to do a tough job reckon to her constant undermining of their professionalism – an undermining that the dhimmified BBC is very happy to broadcast without any contrarian opinion.
