WHERE’S WALLY?

Once such a BBC hero, he’s been hard to find since May 2010. Biased BBC’s Alan asks;

“Victoria Derbyshire asks (48 mins in ) ‘What’s happened to Gordon Brown?’ as he seems to have disappeared making only about 3 appearances in Parliament since he was deposed.

A fair enough question, one that many people have been asking.

It went along the lines of ‘He’s made a few mistakes, not of his making though…but what a good bloke he is really…so misunderstood…the people love him.’  And did you know that the financial crash wasn’t really his fault…he was just unlucky, bad timing…he took on a poisoned chalice.

Hmmm…the economy was starting to boom in 1997…by 2000 it was in surplus…no debt in sight….and then Gordon Brown began to spend…and tax…and spend and tax….just like every other Labour government that sent the economy into a tailspin.

Just think what Gordon would have done to an economy that was in trouble when he took over!

Whilst flagging up people’s doubts about him it seemed only as an excuse to exonerate him of his misdemeanours…his very own Leveson Inquiry in reverse….finding the Glory rather than the Guilt.

The Glory of Gordon was burnished to a high shine….he is a secular saint almost….although jetting around the world getting highly paid for doing the odd speech you must know that not a penny goes into the pocket of the venerable Brown, his sole income being his meagre MP’s salary that he ekes a living out of (an austere one?).

A salary that he doesn’t seem to earn as a member of Parliament, one elected to represent his constituency in Parliament overseeing or proposing new legislation and seeking to improve the lives of his constituents via that legislation.

Apparently the reason he fails to turn up is because he is subject to ‘Tory vitriol’ when he does….this being the man who had raging temper tantrums and made angry phone calls to opponents and newspaper editors who didn’t say what he wanted them to say….that’s when he wasn’t throwing the phones around.

Apart from the nasty Tory Yahboos he is too busy helping the Third World to do any work here….there are 67 million children living in poverty and he is on a mission to save them all.

He could of course start in the UK where the poverty rates and inequality went up under his government.

Good of the BBC to keep us informed.

Shame they couldn’t find the same time to talk about Labour’s open door immigration policies and the effects it has had on the working classes here….and on education, health and welfare, housing, roads and crime.

13 years of Labour….it was just a dream, it never happened. lalalalala….

He states ‘I am not receiving any money from this engagement personally. It isbeing held by the Office of Gordon and Sarah Brown for the employment of staffto support my ongoing involvement in public life.’
 Does his ‘staff’ include himself and his wife? Just what company director’s paydo they take out of the company? A question you may or may not hear on the Toady programme soon….meant the’Today’ programme but seems a suitable moniker.

Interesting that the Director of Public Prosecutions says he is investigatingwhether to prosecute bankers….why not politicians who deliberately abusetheir position for personal or party advantage.

BBC – Cameron On The Ropes After Irish Vote

On its website the BBC could hardly restrain its glee.

UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown has welcomed the “Yes” vote on the EU’s Lisbon Treaty in the Republic of Ireland referendum.
Mr Brown said the treaty was “good for the UK and good for Europe”.

Accompanied on the websites front page by a picture of a smiling Mr Brown it was if the last few days at Brighton had never existed. But there was also a BBC bonus. Not only had the Irish electorate come to their senses and submitted to the BBC position on the Lisbon Treaty but it spelt out trouble for those divided Tories currently languishing in the polls – and where did the BBC go to for that information? Why, “The Independent”, of course, quoting the helpful findings of a poll of Conservatives activists views of Lisbon conducted by website Conservativehome.

“The findings suggest that the damaging divisions on Europe which destabilised the last Tory government could resurface at the party’s annual conference in Manchester,” the newspaper suggests.

Cue Marr, Crick, Naughty and Robinson – you have your orders….

THE JOKER

Have you spotted the bizarre image of a grinning Gordon Brown accompanying a lead news item on the economic perils affecting the UK? The BBC carries the story on how Brown is going to be the first man in history to confound the logic that when you are in a hole you stop digging. Brown is boasting today how he will spend his way out of the financial mess in which he has placed us and that we should all put our faith in his economic prowess. The Tories are not even mentioned by name in this report (Have they nothing to say on it??) and it seems that the BBC narrative is that only smiley Gordon can save the day. Indeed it goes on to report that Brown is going to get “up to a million people” of incapacity benefits and into gainful employment. Again, no challenge to this delusional Labour nonsense! Brown is the man who allowed the acceleration of the Welfare culture and was central to the massive growth of those on incapacity benefit and now we are expected to believe he will get tough on it? I’m reminded of quote from The Queen in Alice in Wonderland who declared that ” Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” If you read the BBC each morning, you know how she feels.

KEN HEARTS GORDON.

Touching to read this report from the BBC in which Red Ken Livingstone praises Mr Broon, absolving him of any blame for his defeat at the hands of Boris Johnson. It really is a gushing little tribute to Brown from the odious Livingstone – all part of Operation Save Gordon which is now a central part of the daily BBC agenda at the moment. I laughed at the last line in this report where Livingstone shrills about Brown “there will be a record of delivery.” Quite right – Brown will deliver a Conservative government in 2010 and all this pathetic shilling from the State Broadcaster will do NOTHING to change that.

SHADOW BOXING.

Is it just me or do you also detect that the BBC has been spinning madly wildly and deeply for Mr Brown in regard to his serial mutterings over Mugabe in Zimbabwe? Not a day goes by without some new headline on the BBC expressing the Great Leader’s “outrage” at just about everything the thug Mugabe is doing. Now don’t get me wrong, I would like to see Mugabe meet his maker right now -( in whatever way would facilitate such a meeting) – but I suspect there is a cynical hand at play here and even as Labour disintegrates in front of our eyes Brown gets fawning coverage on this issue from the BBC, He makes lot of noise about Zimbabwe whilst actually doing NOTHING of any substance. Why does the BBC not query why Labour has sat back over the past decade of Mugabe’s violence against his own people and done nothing? I suppose when it was just white farmers and their workers being ethnically cleansed and murdered there was little need for the BBC to stir from mute complacency?

JUST ANOTHER MANIC MONDAY.

It would appear that BBC stands for Brown Broadcasting Corporation these days such is the amount of glowing coverage being extended the way of our dismal Prime Minister. Yesterday Mr Broon was over in Jeddah sorting out Johnny Foreigner by instructing him how to manage his oil and energy resources; today the Great Leader is once more amongst us – his people – this time extolling his vision of increasing fairness and social mobility This vision reduces down to throwing our cash at target groups of parents to encourage them to bring up their children in a manner of which the government approves. The BBC faithfully reports the Downing Street spin, helpfully emphasising that – yes, you’ve guessed it – Thatcher is to blame for these feckless parents. Also note how the BBC finishes the report by once again disingenuously referring to “child poverty” in the UK when this does not exist. It strikes me that the BBC’s attempts to prop up Brown and his rabble are getting increasingly desperate as Brown himself gets more and more desperate. As we approach the end of days for the NuLabour project to destroy everything that is great about Britain, I fear the BBC must be getting very nervous as to what changes lie in store for it. It’s current role as a 24/7 PR front for the Government undermines any claim that is is an objective reporter of news and emphasises that it is in fact an active and very biased player.

Did you read the BBC’s fawning coverage of Mr Broon’s visit to Jeddah as he seeks to use his super powers to persuade OPEC to bring about “New Deal” for us all? It’s pathetic to watch the BBC twist in the wind trying to prop up the utterly useless Brown when the rest of us can see just how discredited and economically culpable the Great Leader is on this issue. Listen, if Brown was in ANY WAY serious about helping those who are suffering from vast oil increases here in the UK, he could reduce or better still remove the Vat element he slaps on it. But that won’t happen since the vast public sector behemoth he has built since 1997 would shrivel up, starved of funds. So instead he jets across to Saudi (Juat think of all those carbon emissions!) to beg the Arabs for something they have no intention of giving. How fortunate for him that the BBC sees fit to portray this begging mission up as the act of a Statesman. Still, His Master’s Voice and all that…

CONTRASTING HEADLINES.

It’s been quite interesting reading the lead stories in most of the Sunday press today concerning the alarming prospects for PM Gordon Brown and then comparing these with the BBC. With gloom and doom everywhere as tales emerge of plots and intrigues, Gordon Brown can at least gain small comfort in the re-assuring BBC headline that there is “No appetite to oust Brown as PM.” From Jabba the Hut (Prescott) to Postman Pat (Johnson), the BBC has helpfully provided a forum for those selected to calm Brown’s nerves. It looks to me that the BBC wants to see Brown survive, but only if he moves to the left.

THE BROWN BROADCASTING CORPORATION

; Another day and another piece of steaming Labour propaganda served up by the BBC, this time in its grovelling report of Mr Broon’s “Global moral vision” (Cough Splutter) speech at the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in Edinburgh. Note that the BBC uses this as an opportunity to attack Margaret Thatcher – who, unlike Mr Brown, was a three times winner much to their eternal chagrin.
