The Danegeld (/ˈdeɪn.ɡɛld/; “Danish tax”, literally “Dane tribute”) was a tax raised to pay tribute to the Viking raiders to save a land from being ravaged.

We know that the BBC hides political and social messages within its programming, not just shamelessly distorting its news reporting to bring us a carefully shaped narrative but selecting the subject matter of its documentaries, historical dramas and, well, just about any programme you care to mention from comedy to children’s programming, in order to reflect the message of the day that the BBC thinks the viewers and listeners need to learn….their views being a result of ignorance and prejudice and a bigoted misunderstanding of the world.

We know that Roger Harrabin, that Rasputin-like figure who will go down in history, along with his colleague, climate activist Dr Joe Smith, as one of the most corrupting influences upon the climate change debate, engineered the infamous seminars at the BBC in order to pressure BBC bosses, editors, producers and programme commissioners to adulterate their programmes with climate change propaganda.

We know that BBC programming has been hugely distorted to provide us with a very misleading picture of the Muslim community, their views and Islam itself…the latest being ‘Nadiya’s’ win on the GBBO which has been a triumph for the BBC’s multicultural propaganda unit….but which displays everything that is wrong with the BBC’s approach and their own misunderstanding of why people criticise Islam.  The BBC thinks if only we could get to see that a Muslim, like Nadiya in a headscarf, can be a nice person then we will therefore conclude that Islam must be nice too.   If Nadiya is so proud of being a Muslim, and is obviously devout, headscarf and all, then ask her some questions about that…does she think apostates should be killed, adulterers lashed or possibly stoned to death, gay people killed, criminals have their hands and feet chopped off, does she think women are inferior to men, that Muslims can take slaves and four wives, that Muslims shouldn’t make friends with unbelievers, that Muslims must fight the unbeliever until Islam reigns supreme as ordered by the Korn, that those who oppose Islam should be crucified and have their hands and feet cut off as ordered by the Koran, does she believe in democracy, freedom of speech, or does she think Muslims should live under Sharia law in a caliphate, British first or Muslim first?

“Hijab is not a fashion accessory or a headdress. It is an act of worship and obedience to God’s command,” wrote Fatima Barkatulla, a London-based lecturer in Islamic thought, on Facebook.

“And we worship and obey God on his terms, not our terms.”

Does Nadiya agree with those Islamic principles?  If so how does the fact that she can make cakes and drink tea alone make her ‘British’?

Cameron raised that very subject in a speech in June this year…

Only if we are clear about this threat and its causes can we tackle it. The cause is ideological. It is an Islamist extremist ideology one that says the West is bad and democracy is wrong that women are inferior, that homosexuality is evil. It says religious doctrine trumps the rule of law and Caliphate trumps nation state and it justifies violence in asserting itself and achieving its aims.

The question is: how do people arrive at this worldview?

They arrive at that worldview because that is Islam, taught to them from the day of their birth.

Of course it’s not just climate change and Islam that get the BBC makeover, immigration does too as the BBC tries to either promote it as a huge benefit to the nation or engineer unthinking sympathy for migrants with endless sad tales and photographs of children and women rather than the hordes of men that in reality make up the bulk of the immigrants.

Today we had a programme that indulged itself with the usual BBC riffs.…apparently the Roman Empire has lessons for us today, there are parallels with events today, it illustrates problems with the government’s prevention of terrorism policies and raises questions about drones killing British (LOL) citizens in Syria….and all sorts of parallels that reflect our attitudes towards immigration….when they say ‘our’ they mean you and me, the unthinking prejudiced mob.   And oh yes…why did Miliband lose the election?  It was the fault of the evil right-wing press and their wicked portrayal of Miliband as a dork who couldn’t eat a sandwich without cocking it up.  Not his crazy policies and stupid headline grabbing stunts such as the Edstone then?

Bernard Cornwell has admitted that the BBC chose to turn his books into a television production because The Last Kingdom had ‘interesting echoes of today’

Author whose novels about King Alfred have been adapted for TV says his work deals with themes of nationhood and immigration under current debate.

The BBC was inspired to make a lavish new series about King Alfred the Great because of current debates about immigration and nationhood, according to the author of the historical drama.

The Last Kingdom is based on the novels of Bernard Cornwell about how King Alfred became the first king of the Anglo-Saxons and created England.

Cornwell said the BBC was interested in the story because it had echoes of today.

“That’s why they [the BBC] picked it”, he said. “I do see something modern in it – that we are all immigrants. The Saxons are immigrants – according to the British, the Celts, they have stolen the land they have. The first shield wall battle which Uhtred takes part in is [for the Saxons] against the Welsh.

“The Saxons were very successful colonisers, and neighbours, then the Danes, the Normans, the Huguenots, you name it … right through to this century, we are all immigrants.”

That has long been the BBC narrative, ‘we’re all immigrants’. A completely false and deliberately misleading rewriting of history.   The BBC has worked hard to try and dismantle Britain and to destroy the British and English identity.  This is the nation-hating, border-hating, Britain-hating BBC at work.  A hugely damaging exercise in ethnic cleansing in effect, an attempt to wipe out any notion of an English or British identity, to destroy a feeling of unity and belonging, an attempt make you confused and rootless, vulnerable to the BBC’s message and a new identity as a ‘citizen of the world’.

The final message from the programme mentioned above was that they wanted people to think differently about their certainties, to sow doubt in their minds about their ideas of themselves in order to change things.

Who can doubt that that is precisely what the BBC sets out to do, to spread doubt and confusion based upon the BBC’s unique view of history that maligns all that is British and makes victims of the rest of the world to whom we now owe a debt in some shape or form.

Cornwell is of course living an immigrant’s life in America with his American wife and is immensely rich and so will hardly suffer the consequences of mass immigration however bad they may be.  He will always have medical treatment, a job, schools for his children or grandchildren, a home to live in and the ability to escape if necessary.  Not so those whom he, and the BBC, would impose immigration upon.

Cornwell thinks ‘The Last Kingdom’ tells us some truths about Britain today…well yes it just might….the most important lesson is that the problem with Danegeld is that the Danes kept coming back for  more.  Appeasing the invaders doesn’t pay off.  One day you have to stand up to them and take back your country……

Remember when the BBC insisted that a Syrian ‘fighter’ was definitely not a Jihadi on the run…the BBC knew this because ‘his identity is unusually well documented…He says that he was a Free Syrian Army commander, and that before the civil war he worked as a plasterer in his home city of Aleppo..’

Ah yes, that well known seal of authenticity….’He says….’

ISIS fighters are reportedly shaving their beards and dressing up as women in order to flee Syria, in the wake of Russia stepping up its military campaign in support of President Bashar al-Assad.

Pictures said to have been taken near Aleppo last week shows mounds of what looks like cut off facial hair, alongside discarded packets of razors. 

In order to cross the border to Turkey undetected, ISIS jihadists are said to be shaving and disguising themselves in niqabs – a veil covering all but the eyes worn by some muslim women.

Not saying of course that our plasterer turned Syrian freedom fighter was a jihadi but why did he shave off his beard as he slipped into Europe…indeed why did he grow one…beards being a very definite recognition feature of a Jihadi?

The former chairman of the BBC has attacked the corporation over its reporting of the recent spate of Arab terrorist attacks in Israel. Lord Michael Grade, a member of the House of Lords for the Conservative Party, claimed the BBC had failed to show “impartiality,” and focused his fierce criticism in particular on a recent report by BBC correspondent Orla Guerin, which he said promoted an “equivalence” between Palestinian terrorists and their victims.

Anti-Israeli bias is a CORE BBC value, in my view. We have shown it time after time and Grade is only saying the obvious.

I was amused to read this from the BBC this morning. It appears it doesn’t matter how LEFT Labour is. The suggestion is that Labour can be as hard Left as it wants..with the sole caveat that it also has to be economically credible. Which it never has been. Onwards, comrades..

The BBC reported enthusiastically from north of the border as the chippy wee lassy marshalled the troops at the SNP conference….was interested to hear from wee lassy that Cameron has not respected the views of the Scottish people…unlike the wee lassy who of course fully respects and embraces their desire not to have an independent Scotland.  Jim Naughtie said nothing.

Culture secretary: BBC is out of touch, failing viewers and not reflective of Scotland

THE BBC fails to satisfy audiences and doesn’t reflect Scotland, the culture secretary said yesterday.

During a debate on BBC charter renewal, Fiona Hyslop called for a “a bold and radical alternative to the out of touch structure and decision making of the BBC”.

There were also calls for Scotland to be given control of broadcasting, as well as the creation of a Scottish Six O’Clock News.

Former culture minister Linda Fabiani said: “Of course Scotland should control its own broadcasting, of course Scotland should be an independent nation.

“We have to move forward in every way we possibly can to get Scotland to achieve that independence and broadcasting is crucial to that, we recognised that in 2007 when we became a minority government.”

“Scotland needs a better service from the BBC, Scotland demands a better service from the BBC and Scotland must have a better service from the BBC.”

East Dunbartonshire MP John Nicolson, a former BBC presenter, said the once-a-decade charter renewal process was a “golden opportunity…to change the BBC”, adding: “We have a chance to shape it, and we’re demanding some changes.

“We want to see the full devolution of broadcasting to Scotland, we need more investment, we need more jobs, we need a separate Scottish six o’clock news.”

Edinburgh activist Doug Thomson said the BBC was at the heart of much of civic life, but “in recent times the Beeb has lost its way” and remained “London-centric, metropolitan and lacking in accountability to the people of Scotland”.

He said: “The BBC isn’t broken but it isn’t fit for purpose, and instead needs to be rehabilitated. It is time for Scotland to have full control over broadcasting.”

National socialists in charge of the national broadcaster…..great….what can we expect?  All those years of Scottish suffering under the foreign yoke…only to be reborn….has a familiar ring to it…..

Always interesting what BBC presenters let slip….

Last week Peter Allen apologised profusely to a Labour MP for having the rudeness to ask him questions about Corbyn’s policy on Trident….so awkward for the MP to have to deal with that apparently.

Yesterday we had Jim Naughtie tell us that there is a problem with Saudia Arabia ‘whose culture is so controversial’.  Hmmm, what ‘culture’ would that be?  Not the same culture that the Saudis export to the UK as they fund mosques, Islamic educational centres and buy up universities, not to mention currying favour with the high and mighty as they fund sports and buy arms.  Curious that that same ‘controversial culture’ in the UK gets protected status from the BBC.

On Tuesday we had Adrian Chiles discussing paedophilia.  He brought us an interview with an American who says he has paedophile tendencies but has never acted upon them.  We had a therapist who thought all that paedophiles needed was a bit of love and understanding, and opposed to her was Jim Gamble, ex-head of CEOPs, who took a much harder line.  Chiles didn’t seem to like Gamble’s approach and thought he was ‘condemning’ paedophiles when we should perhaps be treating or dealing with it through therapy.

The listeners didn’t seem to agree (37:40) emailing in saying that the BBC is part of the grooming process and that paedophiles should have a lethal injection, jump off a tall building or be chemically castrated.  Chiles tells Gamble that ‘from you’re tone you’re kind of encouraging views like these…the lethal injection, chemical castration and jumping off high buildings.’

Gamble in no way suggested any such thing, he just took the view that paedophilia is a very serious crime (having obviously seen the end result as a police officer in CEOPs) and that such criminals should be locked up, and that those who view child sex images are just as guilty as those who actually abuse children.  Chiles didn’t seem to like that approach in the usual BBC way that refuses to condemn the real criminals and ends up instead condemning those who criticise the criminals (or terrorists)….it’s the same way the left tries to close down debate on immigration…if you’re not in favour of mass immigration you must be a Nazi in favour of gas chambers for Muslims is the usual allusion.  The BBC itself isn’t shy of using such extreme comparisons with its ‘Warning from History’ and constant sly suggestions that UKIP are really Nazis.

BBC presenters…they get more like C of E vicars every day….then again belief in the BBC is apparently a human right now….

Faith in BBC a ‘religious right’

BELIEF in the values of the BBC entitles an employee to the same protection at work as faith in Christianity, Islam and the world’s other leading religions, a review for the state equality quango has concluded.

Opponents of foxhunting — but not hunt supporters — are also entitled to the same protection in the workplace as religious believers, after a series of judgments by tribunals over the past decade.

Now the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is to consider recommending changes to the law later this year to counter such rulings and prevent religion and belief from being “trivialised”.

A belief that public service broadcasting has the higher purpose of promoting cultural interchange and social cohesion was found to be covered by the legislation.

Just wondering how that works….if I work at ITV or Sky does that mean I can get time off to watch a bit of BBC, perhaps I can have a special BBC worship room built….with a wide screen TV, a nice comfy chair and a latte machine to indulge my proclivities.  Perhaps it will face Broadcasting House and five times a day Lord Hall will call ‘prayer time’ over the radio.

Muslims attack a Sikh in Birmingham

The BBC has spent a good deal of time and effort trying to make us believe that Muslims around the world are under attack….despite it appearing to most people that it is Muslims around the world doing the attacking.

The Muslims, the BBC informs us, are victims of racism in the form of British foreign policy, Buddhists, Jews and pernicious Islamophobia based purely upon the colour of a Muslim’s skin…that colour apparently being ‘Islamic’ now that Islam is classed as a ‘race’.

When the figures for hate crimes were released last week who did the BBC concentrate on?  Muslims.  Here’s Adrian Chiles chatting away about how oppressed Muslims are in the UK. (11.07)

We know that the BBC hates Buddhists in Burma as they attack Muslims…the BBC is reluctant to point out that it is the Muslims who have been conducting a ‘Jihad’ for decades in Burma in an attempt to carve out a Muslim state for themselves ala Pakistan.

We know that the BBC hates Hindus in India, again they are the perpetrators of racist crimes against Muslims….never mind that Muslims have their own history of horrific violence against Sikhs and Hindus which continues to this day.

The BBC seems to be conducting its own Jihad against Hindus in India at the moment, particularly against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi as we’ve been pointing out on this site several times.

The BBC continues its attacks…..Here is a ‘report’ that seems more wishful thinking than based upon real events and analysis…Has Narendra Modi’s foreign policy bubble burst?  And the latest effort….A week of worrying about rising intolerance in India  but it’s only very near the bottom of a very long article that you get the truth...’Well, there certainly wasn’t a shortage of religious intolerance before Modi was elected…..It’s hard to be definitive about the issue of tolerance. Indian politics – especially those around communal tension – are complicated. ‘  The writer admits that much of the ‘worry’ is in fact drummed up by liberal writers and activists for their own political ends...’in fact online activists from opposition parties are driving this week’s trends…..The recent violent acts certainly give liberals the ammunition they need to get a conversation about intolerance trending.’

Which makes this rather curious…from Sunday Morning Live in which a Sikh commentator is removed from the show for protesting about the lack of coverage of anti-Sikh violence by Muslims in the Punjab……

Just why is the BBC so uninterested in violence by Muslims when it is so interested in how Jews deal with Muslims in the Middle East, how Buddhists deal with Muslims in Burma, how Hindus govern in India, or indeed how oppressed Muslims are in Britain?  Sikhs in the Punjab?  Who?

Just remember when the BBC bangs on about Israel and the ‘crimes’ done in its creation, that supposed Palestinian disaster, the Nakba, just remember that nearly one million people were killed in an attempt at ethnic cleansing when Muslims carved out Pakistan from Indian land.

Fascinating how the BBC reports the cold blooded murderous attacks on Jews in Israel by Palestinians….the Palestinians were of course provoked into such attacks.

When a police officer was attacked the BBC for some reason felt it necessary to point out that the police officer was wearing a stab vest and was unhurt…..whilst the Palestinian was dead…..those Israelis…how they over react to a bit of harmless attempted butchery!

The Israeli army for some reason let their guard down when a Palestinian in a hi-viz jacket with ‘Press’ written on the back approached and then stabbed one soldier…..Question….why would the IDF trust anyone in the Press?, after all, the BBC has been stabbing Israelis in the back for years…

Today on R4 we had an interesting news bulletin from the region (1 min 18 secs) with Kevin Connolly bringing us the usual BBC games with language intended to subtly insinuate that the Palestinians are victims of Israeli aggression.

Connolly tells us that ‘a 16 year old Palestinian was shot by Israeli border police after he attempted to stab an officer…..elsewhere an armed Israeli shot dead a young Palestinian after an attempted stabbing…there have been sporadic clashes between Palestinian protesters and Israeli security forces…’

Interesting how Connolly frames the attacks as almost harmless, carried out by youngsters…. Highlighting the youth of the attackers is an effort to garner some sympathy for them…and why say ‘an armed Israeli’?  He was obviously armed as he shot the Palestinian who was trying to murder him….just another BBC attempt to indicate the ‘power’ of the Jews? And why not say they were trying to kill Israelis?….instead Connolly prefers the less dramatic, less truthful, claim that these were merely ‘attempts to stab’.  What of those ‘protests’?  ‘Protests’ or riots?  What are they ‘protesting’,  Israel defending itself? Shouldn’t be allowed!

Was that just how the report turned out or was it designed that way in order to downplay the Palestinians’ efforts to kill Israelis and to win some sympathy for them…poor Palestinians, oppressed by the blood-thirsty Israeli military machine, a Palestinian youth without hope or a future with only knives and brave heart for weapons.

Perhaps the BBC could do us all a favour and start telling the truth about who is responsible for the Palestinians’ plight…their fellow Muslims from the surrounding countries, and many a left winger over here, who wish to keep the Palestinians in poverty and misery as political weapon against the Israelis…and of course the Palestinian leadership itself which has absolutely no interest in peace with Israel, its only intent is to wipe out Israel and ethnically cleanse all Jews from the land.

White cop kills ‘unarmed’ white teenager…and the BBC isn’t interested….an attitude in stark contrast to its wall to wall outraged coverage of similar deaths of black youths killed by white police officers in the US….the Guardian also has decided it is a story that doesn’t merit a look…however they do report this very similar tale today….Tamir Rice’s family calls for special prosecutor in shooting investigation…Tamir Rice of course being black….the BBC is also ‘on message’ with Tamir Rice’s case.

Cop shoots dead unarmed 17-year-old driving back from church basketball game after teen flashed his lights to signal fault with patrol car

The devastated family of an unarmed teenage boy who was shot dead by a Michigan sheriff’s deputy earlier this year after flashing his car lights at him has filed a lawsuit against the officer.

Deven Guilford, 17, was pulled over by Sgt. Jonathan Frost, of Eaton County Sheriff’s Department, on a cold evening in February after flashing the officer because he believed his brights were on.

During the traffic stop, Guilford refused to put his hands behind his back or give Frost any official documents, leading to an altercation between them, according to county prosecutor Doug Lloyd.

This ended with Guilford lying dead in a snow-filled ditch, having been shot seven times by Frost.

I guess that doesn’t fit the BBC’s preferred narrative of a racist white police force targeting blacks for execution.  As said before the BBC plays a dangerous game feeding into the black victim narrative, a narrative that gains ground back in the UK and is encouraged by the BBC’s US reporting…..what happens there usually happens here.

The Guardian is even more blatant and irresponsible in its approach turning itself into nothing more than a racist, anti-white race baiting rag.

Here for example is its latest piece of nonsense that blames Black ‘racism’ (FYI Guardian/BBC…..Islam isn’t a race) on Britain as a whole….apparently the immigrants have integrated too well and picked up Whitey’s bad habits…..

This black woman’s anti-Muslim rant shows how deep British racism goes

When a black woman can stand in a bus and tell someone, without irony, to “go back to their own country” it shows how deeply embedded the hatred of Muslims has become in our society. The media, and everyone else, have a duty to do everything they can to counter it.

I’d suggest when mainstream Muslims, lead by the dominant organisation reperesenting Muslims in the UK, try to hijack British schools and turn them into Islamic schools, when Muslim’s continually tell us that their loyalty is to Islam first, when Muslim teachers tell their pupils that white women are prostitutes, when white girls are chosen to be sexually abused and exploited because they are apparently worthless white, non-Muslim trash, when Muslim community leaders continually ‘threaten’ the UK with the danger of radicalisation and subsequent terrorism if we don’t adopt a foreign policy that suits Muslims in this country, when Muslims continually demand Britain adapts to their culture and yet refuses to adapt to Britains’s then we can recognise the deeply entrenched antipathy towards ‘Britain’, its culture, society and way of life in much of a Muslim community guided by the Koran and Sharia law.

The Media, and everyone else, have a duty to do everything they can to counter this attitude.

The BBC of course does not act to counter such Muslim narratives, it instead reinforces and defends them, giving credence to Muslim claims about foreign policy thus encouraging and sanctioning terrorism, and a BBC that ducks the issues raised by the religion of Islam in the UK which is so at odds with the values of this country.  An irony when you hear the BBC targeting Saudi Arabia for its cruel and severe culture and legal system…based on Islam and the Sharia…and yet no such thoughts as to whether allowing such a system to grow and flourish in the UK is wise……The EU’s madness as it panders to Turkey’s Islamist leader is yet more evidence of the suicidal tendencies at work in Europe….unchallenged by major news organisations like the BBC…

Merkel has single handedly set out to destroy Germany and has dragged in the rest of Europe into her plans and now the politicians, seemingly unaccountable and ever more stupid, compound her error by opening the flood gates even wider.

The BBC is always warning us of the possibility of the growth of the Far Right in Europe….but when you see what the politicians are doing with complete disregard for what the people they are supposed to represent think, then you can’t help thinking that a reckoning is coming that might make the French Revolution, or indeed the Nazis, look rather moderate.  The arrogant, condescending and patronising grandees of Europe are on their last hurrah.  An irony that those politicians may be forced to flee Europe as refugees because of their own reckless policies on immigration.

The policies that the BBC promotes all lead one way, a way that is ironically down the very path the BBC is trying to prevent.

The simplistic, naive and patronising good intentions of the BBC are dangerous and irresponsible.  It thinks by feeding the Black/Muslim grievance industry that it is helping such communities and that it is helping to promote integration and cohesion in a diverse and multicultural society…the reality is that the BBC and Guardian and their ilk are in fact setting community against community, drawing up lines of conflict and separation that will result in only one outcome….and it won’t be a ‘civil society’.
