I watched as the Capital terrorist act emerged as breaking news at the end of the BBC six pm news. The woman handling the news was getting short tweets from Sopel, and commenting non stop about the Jan 6 ‘riots’ involving Trump supporters, hence the need for precautions at the Capital. It was absolutely clear that the BBC were following their usual pattern of reporting terrorism:
First, blabber on about Trump supporters, far right, Q Anon, white supremacy. That plants the idea in people’s minds, even if facts later emerge to contradict the narrative.
Second, hesitate to report the terrorists identity and connections to Islam or BLM etc.
Third, find someone from the police/security who will say it is not terror related and the work of a mad man.
Fourth, drop the subject and don’t mention that allies running Facebook have removed the terrorist’s FB account.

BBC favourite historian David Olusoga has added his wisdom and depth of understanding to the report on UK Race Relations and suggests that ‘Number 10 would prefer history to be swept under the carpet…’
Never a truer word from an accredited historian David. Heaven forfend that historical fact could be adapted to suit a modern narrative, so lets come out with a few more facts that might not entirely meet with BLM approval.
Like the active and continuous involvement of tribal chiefs and their henchmen in rounding up, forced marching and penning of tens of thousands of their own and other tribespeople, selling them direct to east African Arab traders working the African west coast who in turn shipped them, or marched them, along the coasts to larger trading centres where European traders eventually assessed, bought, shipped and profited from such sales. Quite a long chain of involvement and job creation by ‘other interested parties’ before then, though. How about a mention David?
And then the fact that volumes of Breton, Irish, Cornish and other west of England people were also captured and enslaved by North African Arab traders over a far longer period of time from the Middle Ages until the British Navy was strong enough to challenge them, and with no comparable abolitionist movement to help curtail or end the trade for many lifetimes.
And last but not least that modern slavery exists and thrives, organised and managed by the same descendants of the traders the same modern narrative continues to ignore.

I’m sure the Professor knows that the word slave itself is derived from Slav, the Slavs being white, Caucasian, mainly Christian Europeans who were preyed upon and enslaved by nomadic Muslim tribes as their lands bordered the Islamic kingdoms of Central and Eastern Asia.
Apparently the last of the white Russian slaves held captive in the city of Khiva, in modern Uzbekistan, were not given their freedom until the 1920s, long after the abolition of the slavery for which we are supposed to feel guilty about, and that has seemingly poisoned our society with the systemic racism that Professor Olusoga has deemed it his calling to enlighten us to and to reeducate us all on.
Local Muslim tribes captured these and other Russians, some of whom were sailors or fishermen on the nearby Aral Sea, along with many more Persians and Kurds to sell in Khiva, the centre of the slave trade in Central Asia from the 15th century onwards. They were able to sell the millions of men, women and children captured over the years in Khiva by paying the ruling Khan a tax on every sale. It’s all well documented, recorded and photographed by Russians and other Western Europeans sent to arrange releases or pay ransoms. I’m sure David Olusoga is aware of all this as well.
David Olusoga was born in Nigeria. So too were the “Belfast couple” , Osaroba and Precious Izekor, convicted a couple of years ago of keeping an unrelated Nigerian woman with learning difficulties in “domestic servitude”. They removed her passport, didn’t pay her for work, fed her little, kept her locked up and indoors. This was the first such case in Northern Ireland.
He probably knows about this too. This was also slavery, just not “the Slavery” that we need to be told about it would seem.
Actually I would say that the word Slav comes from slave and not the other way round, although I’m aware that most historians haven’t thought about why. Slavery actually began when human beings discovered salt preserved meat 8000 years ago which freed them from the hunter-gathering lifestyle. Until then there was no such a thing as a slave, and the word slave I believe comes from Salt Labourer = Salabe where they would need men to mine the salt and transport it elsewhere. Salzburg on the Salzach River was the center of where they would bring the salt from Eastern European mines so hardly surprising there would be many slaves in the region that ultimately would comprise the Slavic countries.
Salary, Soldiers, Sale, and possibly Self, are other words that derived from salt to understand it’s influence on our society.

Flicking through the channels this morning and noticed Blue Peter on BBC2.programme name on my TV said Blue Peter Green…so I stopped and watched a couple of minutes.
Full name of show was Blue Peter Green Badge Climate Heros.

I do hope Alex Belfield has good lawyers to deal with his recent home ‘burglary’. However, I suspect that it will turn out to be more difficult that what he portrays.

If you look at this info you can see that with a dedicated team, ‘up for it’ and, primed well on tactics, they can get away with it. Reasonable grounds to search can’t be based on an officer’s hunch or instinct. It should be based on reliable information, …..”
From what Alex filmed, can you see any police officer displaying identity?
Perhaps if Alex had demanded ID from them all and they were prepared not to give it, his first line of defence would be the protection of his property, ‘as he feared he was being confronted by a criminal gang masquerading as the police’.

We tend to test for pregnancy and it’s either yea or nay. Who buys a “minimal” test kit? Or asks their doctor not to bother with the full bells and whistles test, the whole nine yards, but just let’s make do with some vague hint as to whether or not they might be in the family way?
“Dave, you remember that night we got carried away and didn’t take proper precautions? Yes, you do… it was the evening Harry Kane scored that penalty against Poland… so you do remember. Well, I’ve bought this “minimal testing” kit from Boots… yes of course they’ve remained open during the pandemic, people might have to buy aspirin. On the subject of our omnipotent and ever glorious health service: ‘We’ll stop you getting sick, says NHS chief’ (Times) – hmmmm, the job used to centre around the notion that the NHS would cure us once we did get sick. But OK, I can see the value in preventative public health policies. Afterall, since we’ve collectivised the costs by nationalising health, when and if my neighbour gets ill then I have to shoulder the expense of his medicine and his care. Which is all very warm and sociable.
However, the sub-header to this report in the Times sends a bit of a chill down the spine: ‘Bin men to help doctors target vulnerable people’ – I thought that would be the add-on to our posties’ jobs?
In a confusing and somewhat bizarre screed Sir Simon Stevens the NHS supremo gushes lyrical over the NHS vax programme – claiming full credit for his outfit of course – then somehow equates this with some non sequitur reasoning with a shift for the NHS to preventative targeted medicine naming cancer, heart attacks and strokes (which just happen to be the killers which his NHS has neglected this past year).
The vaguely named “Local Areas” will take up the challenge. In practice all this seems to amount to and all we get as an example is weight-loss classes and the dishing out of more prescription drugs.
Our NHS will apparently “identify and tackle the causes of ill-health” – at this point you’ll recall the empty Blairite slogan “Tackle crime and the causes of crime”.
And what might the causes of ill-health be these days? The answer, Sir Simon says, is: “poor housing and lifestyle” – so the NHS will be constantly badgering us over our lifestyles. I’ll look forward to that.
As for the housing, maybe they intend to sell off more of the NHS real estate for housebuilding – after all, they seem to be planning for less hospital capacity and even fewer beds.
I stopped reading there on the basis that what I was being told was rubbish. So I’ve no clue as to where bin men come into this new NHS planning.

How many times could the BBC mention the events of January 6 involving ‘Trump supporters’ as it reported on the recent attack in Washington? Turns out quite a lot…almost as if the BBC was trying to make you think this was a Trump supporter…however the BBC were careful to limit what they told you of the attacker….male, age….and of course suffering ‘mental health issues’, delusions and was ‘having a hard time’. One thing they are very careful not to tell you was that he is black…..no mention on Today and no mention or photo, despite many being available, in this report….

Can Derek Chauvin get a fair trial? Probably not…..considering, not weight of evidence but the weight of pressure from media, politicians and those with vested interests in whipping up the riotous mobs that will surely emerge on the slightest excuse.
If he was to get a fair trial there’s only three questions….did he intend to kill George Floyd?, did he act recklessly knowing that his behaviour might kill Floyd? and that ‘knee’….just how much pressure did he actually exert using his knee…was it merely resting on Floyd, was there minimal pressure but enough just to control Floyd or was there excess force? Considering Floyd was talking loudly and continuously it was apparent that he could breath and that his neck was not in fact constricted in any way by that infamous knee.
Chauvin should be found not guilty in any fair system…especially as the neck restraint was the approved method taught to him by the police.
I have been watching the trial as it has been live streamed. The prosecution and defence are impressive. Witnesses for the prosecution have maintained that Floyd George had actually stopped breathing and was pulseless before the knee was removed and we see one emergency worker gesturing to the cop to remove his knee prior to attempting resuscitation. But we await the defence to come up with powerful medical evidence in response. My guess, at present, is that it might go to Manslaughter. But here is another line: the defence claims that the drugs caused Floyd George’s death. If so, the supplier of the illegal drugs could be responsible. However, the guy who supplied the drugs, so I understand, has pleaded the fifth, and will not be called to testify.
Whatever – if the jury take a political decision, all bets are off.
I take my 13-year old grandson (number 5) to school on some days every week and am managing to “red pill” him with some success to counter the influence of his Liberal father. He argued with his biology teacher about the effectiveness of Covid masks but she refused to accept that they were useless. To give him a response to her, this afternoon I did a face fit test on him. I’m in H&S and did face fit tests for construction workers where the risk assessments required the wearing of them. The test involves them wearing their masks in a hood into which I inject a minimum of ten “puffs” of a bitter tasting substance using a nebuliser. After the mist is injected, they are required to carry out exercises moving the head and talking. The pass rate is quite high. However, when my grandson wore his bog-standard Covid mask I barely got TWO puffs into the hood before his face wrinkled in disgust as the foul-tasting substance easily penetrated the mask and entered his mouth. And this mist is many times larger than Covid viruses! Explain that one Marianna Spring (aged 25).

I originally saw it the same way. However, I have since learnt that the Covid virus (at 0.125 microns) cannot freely float around at random in the air. It has to be attached to a liquid molecule to transport it (subject to little ‘g’ naturally) which a bulk standard N95 mask should prevent penetration to the breather. There is a N100 rating which includes the HE or HEPA filter.
The problem is that hardly anyone wears an N95 (FFP3 in this country) for daily use; the normal “anti splatter” medical masks or any of the retail ones generally worn are certainly not sufficient – they are not even to FFP1 standard

Thinking back about the arguments for defunding the awful BBC which have been made here over the last year or so, I’d speculate that in fact, the ingenuity and persuasive logic of most posters here is actually getting better results than initially perceived!
I feel particularly up-beat about the positive results from the relentless pressure put on the profligacy and bias of a bloated organisation like the BBC. Now, like so many bunches of publicly-funded quangos, ‘charities’ etc., they are rapidly disappearing up their own sordid orifices, and more and more citizens are ignoring their output every day.
The same goes for the manic stupidity of some of the more ‘wokely accountable’ public figures, like MPs, especially the lefties, as one by one they have just given up being such idiots in public, and have run away to an easier life on their preferred tax-paid money and are consigned to oblivion! It’s not difficult to see that the noisiest, silliest and thickest ones just don’t get a mention now! The quality of the ‘new’ commenters on the BBC is pretty dire, and nobody knows or really cares about what most of the ‘academics’ and ‘experts’ interviewed by Robinson and the rest of Form IVB have to say! The BBC has famously – pompously even, told anyone who bothers to listen, that they are ‘reaching out’ to a younger generation,without even considering that that same generation has a myriad of alternatives, and because the same old leftie BBC does roughly the same as it did (then kept trying to do) to their parents, it’s not worth the hassle for the kids, and they know it! They also don’t pay the TV tax, their parent(s) do/does.
So, as any researcher worth his or her salt relentlessly discovers from these pages, the wish of most normal citizens to tell all these tax-paid second-raters to buqqer off is actually working! There’s so much to glean from the incessant torrent of dis-satisfied commentary, which will never challenge even the most junior Dominion vote-organiser, and that all those algorithms are pointing to: –
1)Eventual demise of the BBC, through continual complaint, exemplified here and on other ‘serious’ sites like Guido etc., as well as more active organisations.
2)A realisation that the irritating stupidity of politicians is exposed at every level, and the positive results of getting tired, leftie dogma kicked into touch are becoming more easily accepted!

The big problem for the BBC is that the youngsters 1. expect everything on their devices to be for free in the YoooChooob age, and, 2. many will not have the income that their pre-Pandemic peers would have enjoyed.
They will be forced – once they are in their own household – to decide: ‘BBC? or Netflix? or Amazon? or just catch-up TV and box sets with no BBC?’
Time will not be on the BBC’s side.
I expect the BBC to start lobbying Parliament to soon make it a requirement to have a TV Licence to watch all catch-up TV – iPlayer plus ITV3+ (whatever it’s called) More4 and the Channel Five equivalent – yes, I’m a bit behind the times as a non-watcher – but you will not be hearing much about it. It will be done very quietly. As Parliament goes at present, the BBC may well succeed.

Maybe Boris is keeping the awful bbbc question for the stamping ground at the next election? Up to then, we’ll have four more years of poor quality TV, but as most of the rags are saying (well, except the guardian, which emits some sort of strangled squeak), most normal citizens are fed up with the BBBC and want to see it gone!
