Before we tackle the hefty and, this morning, the right royal task of parsing the press headlines, let’s alight on a couple of BBC online news headlines that happen to be doing some pretty heavy lifting.

Like old school thespians our print press tend to avoid mention of the Scottish play, yet the BBC are hoist on their own saltire here and rather have to: ‘Alex Salmond to face Holyrood inquiry amid conspiracy claims‘ – that’s quite a construction, I think you’ll agree. It makes it sound as though Salmond is on trial, rather than being the witness accusing Sturgeon and her acolytes.

The BBC clearly see their man in a dock rather than as a whistleblower (or should that be a bagpipe blower – the sound promises to be sufficiently shrill and nerve jangling for his enemies): ‘Alex Salmond is to be questioned by MSPs over his claims of a “malicious and concerted” conspiracy against him

Who could forget that old one hit wonder My Sharona by the Knack? The BBC have a knack of annoying one with their Shamima: ‘The Supreme Court is to rule later whether the runaway schoolgirl Shamima Begum should be allowed back into the UK from Syria‘ – runaway schoolgirl indeed. It makes her traitorous murdering jihadi terrorism sound like a bit of extra-curricular high jinks.

Speaking of which, the Daily Mail has for us: ‘Women driven mad with lust by a full moon‘ – We read on: ‘Its power to warp our behaviour gave us the word “lunacy”. Now, as a Snow Moon rises, read the stories of women who’ve felt its devastating power, including one wife’s extraordinary admission…‘ – and it’s right there that the Mail online blanks one’s screen as it notices one uses an ad blocker – so we’ll have to leave it there.

The Telegraph would have us believe: ‘Sunak will be “honest” on spending as he is warned against tax rises‘ – there’s a mess of a headline which I dare say mirrors the mess of the national finances Rishi faces come the budget.

It’s a sorry state of affairs when a politician feels the need to tell you he’s being honest. How honest is he and his Treasury, for example, with official statistics? Let’s take inflation as a test case.

BT write to me informing me that CPI (Consumer Price Index) is a mere 0.6%. But BT wern’t born yesterday. They didn’t get where they are today (as Reggie Perrin’s boss CJ would put it) by swallowing official inflation numbers. Oh, no. BT are adding a whopping 3.9% to increase my bills by 4.5% – which amounts to a pretty good ball park measure of real inflation I would venture.

So supposing he can’t raise taxes it seems Rishi may take a leaf out of Gordon Brown’s book: ‘Sunak’s raid on pensioners‘ (Times)

We interupt the financial meltdown of the nation to bring you an urgent message from the Palace: ‘Queen says refusing vaccine is selfish‘ (Telegraph); ‘One’s had one’s jab and one’s… as right as reign. So make sure you go and get yours!‘ – quips the Sun; ‘One is not immune‘ – jests the free-at-the-point-of-access yet heavily subsidised with government advertising giveaway Metro.

I anxiously dream for a moment between sleep and the verge of consciousness this morning that the State is chasing me with a big fat needle, then awake to find it’s true.

Vaccine passports “will be here by summer”‘ – warns the Times. We assume our Shamima is getting hers stamped up, even as we read our papers this morning. Read on and we find this is a statement by Angela Merkel speaking for the EU. Will Boris dare to invoke Brexit and assert our new found independence?

And at this point we really need a good laugh, dear reader, so read on: ‘That’s all folks! BBC takes aim at US cartoons‘ (Times) – could this be the latest example of BBC wokism? Are they banning Bugs Bunny because he’s a He?

That’s the sorry fate of many beloved children’s characters. See here in the Star: ‘Mr Potato Head loses, er, meat and 2 veg. Kid’s toy goes gender neutral. Yes, really‘.

Well, you haven’t heard the best yet. That’s not quite what the BBC are up to with American cartoons as we find out in the Times article: ‘The BBC wants to end the dominance of American cartoons because they prevent British children from absorbing their own culture, a senior executive said

The BBC standing up for British culture. See, I promised you a good laugh!

TOADY Watch #1 – BBC and NT go full Shinto and ABC on ‘tweeees’

After news yesterday about the revival of Frasier and RugRats, I wonder this morning whether Telly Tubbies is due for a comeback. Hilary McGrady, Director of the NT, who – if I recall correctly – has played a part in bringing that august institution to its knees, is keen to get twee worship going in the UK. Anything But Christianity.

There is going to be a massive tree planting campaign so that the public can admire A Blossoming Cherry. I’m amazed at the ignorance of TOADY Presenters at times. You would think they would be well acquainted with London and the Home Counties and be aware that we have lots of mature cherry trees and a delight they are. There are some even in Islington. As for Hampstead, Highgate and Muswell Hill, Beeboid haunts all, there are hundreds. One of the many delights of London life. 🙂

Hilary Mc Grady wishes the British public to get close to nature. I would remind the lady Director that Covid and other viruses are ‘part of nature’. How about cutting charges for a visit and freeing up access to all NT land? Wouldn’t that be a much better way of getting British people close to nature without creating groves to the god of Global Warming and Climate Change?

Be aware, BBC, of what God says about ‘groves’ in the Old Testament part of the Bible.

It’s Hilary McGrady time again. Nice little joke here – https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-56196275.

” Hilary McGrady, director general of the Trust, said the project was in its infancy, but “from little acorns great things grow”. ” Unfortunately, oak trees show no blossom although the buds are splendid and later on they keep the London squirrels – a.k.a. tree rats – well fed.

“She added: “I want this to be just as valid as planting vast tracts of trees on mountains – it’s just as valid for every individual to want to plant a tree in their garden or their city. “

Obviously she has never heard of ‘the tree line’, the height above which trees don’t grow on mountains.

To see trees in blossom one doesn’t have to go to Japan, the view from the M90 or A912 looking down on to Perth in blossom time is quite something.

Next year’s BBC story: ‘Millions forced to stay indoors because of tree pollen’.

#2 Sadiq is cutting down trees to make cycle ways
#3 Planting little trees hardly compensates for huge trees cut down for HS2
#4 4WD enthusiasts have mowed down sapling scheme in East Yorkshire
#5 Drax cuts down lots of trees every day

So she i on about planting decorative blossom trees
Yes I would say they’re aesthetically pleasing
BUT #1 don’t kid yourself that blossom lasts long
“In general, cherry tree blossoms will last for around two weeks, though their peak blossom production will happen after around one week.”

#2 Don’t kid yourself that you are saving CO2
If the tree drops leaves, pollen, branches or fruit, which then rots, then that’s putting CO2 back into the air
Only a tree which converts CO2 to trunk that then rots in a swamp to peat is really sequestrating CO2

if the women’s football association don’t pick the

Government purchased laptops for “poorer” families should not have to be returned per the BBC campaigning unit.

They are a lifeline to these poor souls, and who do the BBC find to chat about this ….yes, you are correct, a BLACK family .

Of course, the disadvantaged family must be black cos Britain is racist and holds this group back, well, we know that’s the BBC take on it .

One week from now, the headlines on the BBC will be Nasty Tories remove learning from the poorest and ethnic minorities.

Two weeks from now, the government cave in !!!!!!!

Foolishly, many people have been under the impression that so-called ‘Politicians’ do what their voters, in the majority, want them to do. I do not believe that anywhere near a majority of people in Wales would want a break-up from England.

The problem is, in Wales most complain or confess to being undecided who to vote for, when that indecision arrives at the polling booth, they vote Labour by default. And they’re happy to admit that. So everything repeats itself ad infinitum every election.

We’ve saved about £150.00 on non-visits to our NHS dentist, which somehow charges us thirty-odd quid to mumble a few bits to a ‘nurse’, then scrape around a bit.

Luckily, we quite like her, but the money’s much safer in our account for roughly the same ‘service’, with some decent toothpaste (or Eucryl – remember that), and an electric brush.

As for the awful BBC, our mainly spineless MPs squirmingly and desperately need the oxygen of publicity, and they’ll always take the easy option for a ‘national broadcaster’, whether they agree on its principles or not. We have feeble shower of pathetic, weedy blokes and birds in the HOC, who will never do the right thing and order the BBC to fuck off and go private.

If Rishi said he’d defund the BBC and use the money on something worthwhile, he’d be on a votewinner, but as an ex-graduate/politician from Goldman Sachs, that is a highly unlikely option.

As we have repeatedly warned, the system in fact weakens crucial controls for international recruitment by lowering skills and salary thresholds, and allowing employers to bring as many foreign workers here as they like, and now with no need to try and hire locally first. We will continue to refer to this, it is that important.”

Question?: Did the Fake President of the US contact the PM to discuss their plans for 125,000 a year intake or did our own fake PM contact Beijing Biden? Whichever, there seems odd similarities in the lockstep desire to eradicate low skilled jobs for the indigenous population. With ‘education’ quality falling rapidly, there is set to be major increases in the number in the low skilled category.

The woke Times selected radio for today

Otherwise the wokists are taking a bit of a day off today.
    Oh
    R4 9pm series continues
“Blood lands is a chilling yet masterful podcast that examines a heinous double murder in South Africa of black farm workers at the hands of their white employers, and examines the lingering realities of the apartheid.”

also 1:45pm R4 takes the chance to discuss Lizards changing genders etc
“When it comes to humans, it’s even more complicated – we have this thing called Gender, too.
.. why we are the way we are, and why it matters so much that we understand it all properly.”

Logic and sense as opposed to emotional responses (including jealousy and spite in no small measures)
Same as it’s been for hundreds of thousands of years. One sex is biologically programmed to be aggressive, go out and spread the seed/find the food/deal with the world and one is programmed to view everyone else as the enemy, ruthlessy guard the nest and keep their mate at ANY cost.
You can’t fight every inbuilt natural instinct and ability which brought us here in the first place.

A verse from Scripture for the sabbath weekend from the prohet Malachi:
“Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.” Malachi chapter 3 verse 16.

Things that irritate on the BBC:

When they make a drama and someone picks up the phone there is always a ‘ping’ just as the other party picks up. That means that the BBC is using the same stock recording that they have been using since they were founded.

Sometimes when a relay contact was in a bad condition, a bit dirty, for a moment that contact would act like a microphone so you could actually hear the contact being made.

It wasn’t something that happened very often so to have a recording of it is quite exceptional. It’s even more exceptional when one realises that the (faulty) equipment that produced that noise has been out of service now for a good forty years!

When Eastenders had a scene of someone playing a video game recently, the sound effects were from a game called Galaxian, which was popular in arcades in around 1978, with the tinny sounds from mono speakers which was the norm at the time and 8 bit technology. You would think that at least one beeboid would pick up on this before it goes to air, but I would imagine that not one of them has ever used a home console. I mean, it’s a bit ‘working class’, isn’t it?

Isn’t it comforting to know that the Islamic terrorist – still using british taxpayers’ money -cannot subvert findings of the UK courts by running off to the dodgy European Court ?

Strike that one for Brexit – and one day we might get a right wing government to destroy the BBC…

Boris and his government gives us Tim Davie.

Boris and his Liberals are not listening .
The real Tory Party has now become The Reform Party.

Fed, I’d settle for a conservative Government that would force the BBC to reform the Licence Fee or go to a subscription service.

I wonder how many of the other extreme right wing terror threats emanate from non-UK nationals?

Not an actual Far Right guy
“posed as a far right extremist”

“in late April, early May.. in America we’d seen a significant rise in far-right extremist activity.
“In that context of a far-right surge”
That seems like BS, it was US antifa and BLM who were kicking off at the time.

So libmob created this myth of a huge far-right conspiracy
then an extortionist uses this myth to pretend to be a far-right network to strike fear to get a huge ransom.

The Labour Party have become The Liberals.
The Liberals have become The Conservatives.
The Conservatives have become The Reform Party.
Finally, Al Beeb has become the promulgator of “Newspeak”.
