Cannot help but wonder what Katie Price’s PR agent is charging her for the latest round of publicity over pictures of her and her teenage son. They have been all over the tabloids last week and are still on the BBC web-site today. That must be about eight or nine days in a row on the BBC site. Then there is all the photography. That cannot have been a cheap deal either as all the photos appear to have been taken professionally.
Not sure what has happened to BBC R4’s ‘Tweet of the Day’ but the tweeting and twittering bit – the birdsong – has almost vanished from recent editions.
The most recent ones I have listened to have had no birdsong at all. The last one with any real decent sound level of the bird was the bittern and those of you who know your bitterns will realise it is like John Deacon or Sting, both with bad amnesia, playing the same two notes over and over again.

Beyond Lili and Lucy seeming apparent BFFs, and Lili getting a pretty happy Marianna shoot out of the deal, the progress of the story has been hilarious in the hands of BBC photo ads, given it is based on Lili’s claim.
On FB we have a bloke holding a pink gift wrapped box, wearing braces. Lili applying for Biden’s new military.
Click on the story link and you get to the BBC FB link, which has a black woman. Lili now pulling a reverse Jackson?
Eventually you get to the above on the website, and our shocked blonde bombshell, who seems to have respawned more than Dr. Who in a Halo shooting spree.
I wonder if the girls know the other curiously attractive young London-based blonde who shops overseas for £200 coats but felt the urge to… ‘get in touch’?
I saw that this morning somewhere. Apparently it’s a troll against the Biden Bunch (as well as a practical exercise), ‘cos Biden and his crew used the title ‘Office of the President-Elect’ between the election and his inauguration to try to garner some credibility – something he is clearly missing almost in totality – but of course, there never has been an official ‘Office of the President-Elect.
However, this does not prevent the Left and MSM in the US from suffering yet another apoplectic fit about Mr Trump’s using the heretofore unused term ‘Office of the Former President’ and attaching some sort of a seal of office to it….
Supreme bit of trolling – he still gets right into their tiny brains, every time. The left’s hypocrisy knows no bounds – much like their propensity towards apoplexy.
There’s a rumour Labour wants to call tomorrow “Wednesday”
Some people say this has apparently been confirmed by several Shadow Cabinet members, but sir Kneel Starmer is reputedly still sitting on the fence to see which way the Conservative Party might go before he makes up his self-proclaimed ‘Marvin’ mind. (‘Hitch-hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy ‘by Douglas Adams)
Bernard Woolley – “I don’t think you can actually kneel on a fence, Minister, it’s almost impossible, unless you have four knees, in which case, the act of kneeling could mean that you have a foot in each camp to keep you upright, then whenever someone asks you to move either way, you can still bend down and adjust your stance accordingly, while still supporting the other view”!
Jim Hacker – “What on earth are you talking about Bernard”?
Sir Humphrey – “It’s the so-called balancing act which all left-wingers portray when on one hand, they know that if they get it wrong, they’ll not suffer financially, as they spend other people’s money, but if they get it right, nobody in their right mind will follow their advice, as they’ll be seen to be elitist and strut around saying they told you so, and they’ll upset the unions”!
Jim Hacker – “But how do you get all this then, Humpy”?
Sir Humphrey – “It’s a normal theme for a BBC script, Minister”!
I see The Daily Telegraph have a deliberately misleading article which rivals even the BBC:
‘Shortly before the breach of the Capitol, Mr Trump told thousands of his supporters at a rally near the White House to “fight like hell” against the election results that Congress was certifying.’
Trump actually told his followers to fight against the result by going to the Capitol and protesting peacefully. Not mentioned at all.
Lying b*st*rds. The MSM are no longer fit for purpose. They are as dirty as the politicians.
The Left have been gradually pushing the boundaries of journalistic ethics since Brexit and have finally reached the point where they can almost disregard them completely without being held to account.
Time they were.
Lady brooke uses the emotion weapon opening with some one ethnic going through the grieving process – a technique recentl spotted here .
Its used to prepare for an attack on someone – normally HMG . Then lady brooke tried to get two sage profs to blame someone for covid deaths . She failed .
Then she switches to the failure of the EU to get enough vaccine . I think lady brooke wants the vaccine to go to the EU so that she can get the infection rate up here in order to blame HMG – which as a marxist she clearly hates.
I force myself to listen to this vile BBC rubbish . Im guessing Lady Brooke is immune to covid …
Up2
The ‘emotive ‘piece before ‘interviewing ‘ a government official is now a new hobby for me . Fortunately I’ve been through numerous personal horrors so am pretty thick skinned to such stuff – which is probably a bad thing – an enables a certain detachment to enable observation of the technique the BBC is now using …
…. I guess it’s only a matter of time before mums of black stab victims are rolled on to blame plod for another ‘failure ‘- by the way another young kid was stabbed to death in Islington yesterday but doesn’t feature as a ‘story ‘ now ..
An Edinburgh couple manage to escape Krankie and go to ‘work from home’ on Barbados.
“The beaches are something else, really beautiful,” said Gillian. “There are loads of beach bars and casual restaurants. The people’s approach is really laid back, casual and friendly.”
I bet they don’t get the BBC doom and gloom every hour either.
P.S. The lucky escapees arrived on Barbados in October – the BBC bringing you the news three months late.
1pm news they are excited “100K Covid deaths passed”
..That is on the wider measure used by the ONS when Covid is the death certificate cause
That can include someone who was already 95% riddled with cancer
but then taken over the edge by Covid
(it doesn’t include people run over by a bus etc.)
It’s different from the daily “deaths within 28 days of positive test, which is only good for trendspotting
cos that misses the 8% who die after 28days with Covid as the cause
but includes 1 or 2 people who died of something else before 28 days.
No one serious would use raw deaths to measure Health Impacts
cos Life Years lost QALYs is a much better metric.
JHB Show ‘so in the US when the good guys the ANTI-FASCISTS the Antifa are doing their demonstrations,
where are all the anarchists & violent Marxists ?’
.. I paraphrase cos as suddenly when Trump has gone
she actually has Andy Ngo on explaining that the name “antifa” is an ambush name that anarchists/Marxists use
and the media fall for it ‘What we had at the Capitol was nothing compared to what Antifa were doing in Portland every day for months, but the media ignored that’
"They call themselves anti-fascist, but they're just anarchist communists."
American journalist Andy Ngo has been covering Antifa protests in Portland, Oregon, telling Julia the mainstream media has refused to condemn their actions.@JuliaHB1 | @MrAndyNgopic.twitter.com/i3DZ4qNXa2
The replies there are different from the typical “based” replies you get on TalkRadio
70% are hatey towards Ngo
I guess he has an antifa online mob that follow him around trying to intimidate him.
eg
Andy got filled in once, for being a pathetic little right wing fluffer.
And he hasn’t stop wetting his pants since. Get over it, Andy. Get a real job.
Like most my age, I’m trying to figure out the why’s and where fore’s of the nonsense we are all surrounded by increasingly.
Here’s an absolutely brilliant video from YT which will help.
“Heather Higgins: How to Counter Runaway Narratives & Big Tech Censorship | American Thought Leaders”
49 minutes but you won’t regret a minute of it.
Incidentally, she mentions a book that seems to contain an analysis of the Left and Right personality and mindset and the inclinations of both. That book was called, “The Righteous Mind” written by Johnathan Hipe. I’ve ordered it.
Interesting. Last time Wendy was challenged he mounted a very high, toppling horse too.
You'd have to give me the exact citation however this is broadly in line with a number of public opinion surveys. As you might expect, some have the number higher, some lower. https://t.co/LuNJAsC7RM
What you see is this widely quoted “Trump’s job approval numbers hit a record low of 34% in the latest Gallup poll, conducted Jan. 4-15, the pollster said Monday. That’s the lowest approval rating of his presidency,”
How’s that work ? you get your mates to do 1000 surveys , cherrypick the one which got the worst number, quietely bin the rest
Then go around quoting the cherrypicked one as if it gospel.
They use this “That’s the worst *average* Gallup has seen since it started tracking approval during John F. Kennedy’s presidency. “
ie so they are cherrypicking AVERAGE
cos Nixon would have got worse when he left
the BBC didn’t cover herself if she omitted “overall AVERAGE”
and said “Trump was leaving office with the lowest approval ratings of any US President ever.”
The words should show up in the subtitle archive
So far just something from on Jan 20th
(view source to copy text)
“trump is going out with the lowest rating of any outgoing president according to any outgoing president
according to any polling, 34%. is he now going to be consigned to history politically? Joanna Gosling
Any award she gets will go well with her red star from the North Vietnamese Army circa 1968….
…in fairness to comrade Fonda the last thing she did was a soppy lefty thing called ‘the News Room ‘by Aaron sorkin (westwing ) …thankfully it got put out of its embarrassing misery after the 3rd series ( or ‘season ‘ ) if you are kidult …
Avi Yemini again chucked out of the lefty Invasion Day rally in Melbourne BY POLICE
just like last year
This time they shouted breach of the peace” slung him in a police van carted him off then let him go after a couple of hours
He promises a video soon
Essentially leftmob don’t like him filming cos he makes them look stupid.
Last year they surrounded him to intimidate him, so then police carted him off “for his own protection”
This year he went as a 5 man team including security , all accredited.
IMHO Hmm he’s on a line, it is wrong to hijack other people’s demos, it’s an antifa trick
Now he is only reporting, but they see it as an invasion.
So from the police POV it’s easy to remove him rather than enforce the crowd to leave him alone.
The Murdoch journo calls herself @DollyYbird used this title
“Infamous far-right YouTube personality Avi Yemini rants from police van after Australia Day arrest”
.. Talk about loaded language.
She also chose to dwell as most Avi haters do, on the time he “flung a chopping board at his ex-wife”
But wouldn’t do that to Kay Burley about the time she grabbed a female reporter by the throat.
Happy Australia Day -and long live Sky Australia – one of the last outposts of ‘diversity of thought ‘…otherwise described by the woke as ‘far right ‘. Far Right is any thing non woke .
Anyway – driving along in the diesel- heard the radio news on R3 or R2 – and they played a clip of some dragon saying “ white Australia will always be criminal because of what they did to the abo s “
I crashed ( ok I didn’t ) but I did raise my eyebrows at the BBC broadcasting “racist hate speech “ as the woke readers of this post will nod in agreement …..
I think the speaker was one of those whitee self hater Wimmin with a big chip – and part of the race industry …still.shocked though .
I was waiting for the balancing comment about all the good thing whitee has done taking over Australia but it never came .
Joined the back of a moving line of around 20 oldies like me outside the Health Clinic door expecting a bit of a wait…
The 20 including me were in, done and on our way in 5 minutes which means that that one clinic is possibly handling near 250 people an hour or maybe 2000 a day!
I couldn’t see how many jabbers were working away but I would guess around 6 – 8 going by the choice of doors we were being shepherded through. Mine was 20 seconds and done.
Someone is doing a great job and it’s not Surkeer’s mob.
You get a lot of false flack Boris but you sure got this one sorted out.
This should be a leading story on the BBC but they are too pre-occupied with stuff like this…
“Covid-19: Vaccine minister ‘confident’ of supplies amid production delays”
Nadhim Zahawi: “We have 367m vaccines from seven different manufacturers that we have contracted with”
Looks like Nadhim takes the biscuit. Good on him !
At least we have one competent minister .
Digg
My 89 year old next door neighbour told me she felt forgotten because she didn’t get a jab appointment . Last week she got one . Now she says she is not going to have the vaccine ‘because she doesn’t trust ‘them ‘…. oh well……
Watching the BBC in the run up to the PM brief – BBC loves its ‘milestones – now at over 100k COVID related deaths. They are desperate to blame HMG – and some of the experts said they’d have saved lives if the country was shut down in March April last year .
Can you imagine any country doing that last year and what the MSM would say . ?
The BBC likes its numbers today – and doesn’t take into account the accuracy of recording by various countries ….
The real problem is that there is NO consistent way used throughout the world to measure ‘COVID’ deaths.
If I remember correctly, for instance, in the midst of the first peak in the pandemic in Italy, if any death – even although it might have absolutely been as a result of the virus – was not centrally recorded within 24 hours of the actual death – it was NEVER, ever, added back into the COVID death figures. I wonder if that’s still true today ?
And what other esoteric accounting measures are in place around the world – like our recording of any death within 28 days of a positive COVID test – pretty much without any exclusion of real causes of death which perhaps had only marginally been affected by COVID infections.
There doesn’t seem to be consistent ways of measuring any human activity around the world.
For forty odd years they have been telling us that the French are more productive than us, you know the lot that are always en grève, then someone worked out that we divide output by the number of days in the year and they divide output by the number of days that they turn up.
We learned recently that the French don’t measure GDP the same way as us, out teachers are at home doing very little so don’t contribute much to GDP. The French teachers are doing much the same but the French government relates GDP to salaries paid and as their teachers are still being paid their GDP is still the same.
Coronavirus: Vaccine supply fears grow amid EU export threat https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-55805903
Who does Al Beeb favour getting the AZ vaccine ?
Great Britain or the EU?
Time for Al Beeb to ‘nail their colours to the mast’ so that the government and the people can see them for what they are .
Taffman
I heard an ‘expert ‘ being asked ‘why has the UK done better than the EU with regard to vaccination ? Answer – spent more money – more effort – more planning than the EU .
That didn’t go down at all well with the BBC droid and shut it down without discussing the implication of our ‘European friends ‘ preventing vaccines ordered and purchased from Belgium …
……….because they relied on a french firm developing a vaccine which just hasn’t happened. … the BBC will do its best to distract us from this embarrassing remainer issue .
In fact it will be twisted to explain why we should have stayed in the EU to get the vax….
Dredging the bottom of the doom and gloom barrel, you have to laugh at this one.
On the BBC 1 pm tv news, they featured the gloom, despondency, overwork, and mournful situation which, due to coronavirus, affects………Undertakers!!!!!!!!!
All that work. Doom. All those customers. Gloom.
A few salient points for the benefit of our BBC ‘investigative journalists’.
1. Funerals are very expensive and very lucrative. If Undertakers are doing more business then boy will they be raking it in. Unlike 800,000 newly unemployed for instance.
2. Everyone dies once. The Undertaking business may be steady and unspectacular but redundancy through market contraction is …errrr……..unlikely.
3. They are doing exactly what they are paid to do, in a profession they have freely opted in to.
4. Since everyone dies once, more business now means less business later. Expect far fewer deaths among the old in a years time. What complaints by Undertakers will the BBC be highlighting then?

Brandon Straka
What did he do ?
… it’s so disgusting people can’t even talk about it.
He was a Democrat member , but when the Dems started to pander to the anarchists/antifa Brandon started a movement called “Walk Away”
.. Then on January 6th he dared to be with Trump supporters on the outside of the Capitol
AFAIK he never went in.
I imagine Viva Frei will have reliable info later/
“Patriots at the Capitol – HOLD. THE. LINE!!!!”
“I arrived at the Capitol a few hours ago as Patriots were storming from all sides. I was quite close to entering myself as police began tear-gassing us from the door. I inhaled tear gas & got it in my eyes. Patriots began exiting shortly after saying Congress had been cleared.”
PM briefing
Laura tried the gotcha from prof hind site – why didn’t you do x y z earlier ( yawn ) . The lefty from the mirror wants to throw even more money at NHS staff and seems to want the PM to ring up the next of kin of everyone who died ‘with COVID ‘ – all pretty sick making stuff .
And yet again the ‘are we there yet ?’ whether schools re open …
… and we all know – they won’t open until everyone in any way involved in schools has had a jab…..
The BBC being amoral now looks to 200 000 dead and then 250 k dead … as if such numbers have value in themselves when the number ‘one ‘ is the most important .
Yesterday the BBC were screaming for details of when the country would be opening up. Today, 100,000 dead and they were repeating on the BBC1 6pm news Sir Kier’s line that we should have done things sooner. Just wait until we do get out of lockdown, the BBC will still be screaming ‘why didn’t we do it sooner?’ It will be blaming people’s mental health on the fact we didn’t open up sooner.
Surkeer on R4 bemoaning the dreadful loss of the 100,000 and reminding us that every death was connected to family and friends so affected folk could be in the millions.
He didn’t get as far as suggesting that all those millions affected might put their allegiance behind his party to get rid of the nasty Tories who are in charge of this tragedy but the tone was there.
Now they are doing reflection on the local victims
Seems no normal regular people are affected
– really fat guy, Muslim doctor, fat married lesbian etc.
Oh just those 3
In no case did they mention how the person had caught it.
Mark Easton was emoting on ‘PM’ in Blackpool about the high rate of deaths there and in Fleetwood, blaming health inequality, but rather undermining that argument by mentioning obesity, bad diet, smoking, heavy drinking, etc.
The more you make people free, the less equal they will be, in health or anything else; so the only solution would be more compulsion, such as banning smoking or enforcing healthier diets as a condition for nominally free NHS treatment. Do people really want that?
R4’s ‘PM’ had Prof Neil Ferguson on at around 17:45, explaining to Evan why Britain had done so badly. I would have thought that he’d be largely discredited by now, after so many wrong predictions in this and previous epidemics, as well as personal mishaps; but obviously I’m not the BBC, who keep wiping the slate clean. I’m fed up with it all.
9pm BBC 2 9pm ’54 Days : China and the Pandemic’ “The story of the events. . . . . . and the gulf between what Chinese officials and scientists knew and what they told the world”
Well on FooC the reporter went back to the Wuhan market then went on and on
before quietly hinting at the end “but what if it didn’t start here”
Doh it seems obvious it was a later cover story, cos Covid had actually broken out much earlier, probably connected to the Wuhan research lab.
volunteering with “a charity which had helped her recover from an eating disorder several years ago.”
– So possible reduced immune system
– High contact with other people, maybe got a high viral dose.
The BBC put out two tweets “died of Covid”
, then “Died with Covid”
article says latter.
Once again the BBC have forgotten they are supposed to be reporting news. Not loading stories in order to sway you in a certain direction. In this case against the government (again) for failing to protect this innocent victim.
Her life is worth no more and no less than everyone else who has succumbed to this virus.
STAGGERING ! The rubbish House of Games on BBC2 (watching to relieve the tedium of the news) has 4 z listers competing against each other. A question tonight was “which year did Elizabeth 1 ascend the throne) – two said in the 1600s, one said 1880 and some dopy woman called Melinda said 1903. I wonder how many people watching saw their jaw drop on the floor.
isLocal BBC news tried to be more practical
They put up graphs showing the case falls in our area
and tried to hint it was Lockdown
but rather it looked basically Hull had a peak at the beginning of December and as that fell so did adjacent areas, as if it touched people who worked over in Hull.
They’d quickly whipped away the graph before you could think.
Cases are about 0.1% in three parts of the region
wouldn’t want to opening those schools.
Honestly, I don’t often watch this, but caught about 10 minutes this evening as my tea was brewing; Richard Osman’s House of Games.
If you haven’t seen it, there are four celebrities answering (or trying to) a variety of questions. The one that had me gasping was “In what year did Queen Elizabeth the First take the throne?” I didn’t expect anyone to hit the nail on the head (even I was three years out) however I was expecting them to be in the right century. None of them were.
The best was Les Dennis, who thought it was about 1650…or something like that. It was Melinda Messenger (little blonde with big assets) that had me on floor, “1903” she said with no hint of embarrassment. FFS how is it possible to be this thick? I find this quite extraordinary! England’s finest monarch, The Virgin Queen, famous for having Mary Queen of Scots beheaded and defeating the Spanish, is brought into the reign of Edward the seventh…
Just watching the BBC’s coverage of the 100,000 deaths milestone and its relentless and seemingly endless repetition of the figure.
They despatched Mark Easton to Blackpool to “investigate” why we have done so badly and his conclusions were basically: Poverty and inequality.
He finished by saying that once we have fixed the covid crisis, we must turn our attention to fixing the country’s inequality.
The BBC’s attitude in a nutshell – never pass up an opportunity to push the socialist agenda. On this occasion all delivered in tones I last heard when watching the Protect And Survive public information film.
The 100k milestone is an aside, not a news story in itself. It shouldn’t lead on the 6pm news. Preposterous and oddly unilluminating pantomime with 100.000 lighted candles in case we can’t imagine the figure. The testimony of a succession of tearful grieving relatives in case viewers cannot appreciate the pain of bereavement. More vulgar graphics with candles.
It’s not just their biased content I object to. It’s their style. I only want hard facts during a news bulletin. I don’t want to be emotionally manipulated or have my aesthetic sense affronted with banal visual metaphors.
Easily conceived, about half the number of babies we abort each year or half the number of foreigners that we let in, but three times the number of people the BBC employs.
The 100,000 is a running total, much of which (and we don’t know how much) consists of lockdown deaths and of people who caught the disease in hospital. The Government doesn’t think we are frightened enough, hence this desperation to worry us.
I have had my doubts about Talk Radio (the self proclaimed “home” of free speech for a while – particularly as regards Hartly Brewer and the particularly vanilla and useless ian collins) – but it looks as if they have finally crumpled to Utube after their ban a couple of weeks ago – censoring Peter Hitchens on their U tube repeat for being too covid honest. Maybe they could rename themselves the wannabee “home” of censored speech. whats the betting that Andrew Neals new channel will also tow the government line on covid?
The “stealth-censoring” was also done to TalkRadio Facebook page version
That is a mobile link so it’s easier to see the comments
There is no discussion about the censorship in those 300 comments.
So maybe they have been censored as well
8:30pm surprise edition BBC Panorama As the number of people who have died with coronavirus reaches 100,000 in the UK, BBC Panorama tells the stories of some of those who have lost their lives.

Someone once described it as ‘vicarious grief ‘. Sit in front of the TV – feel sad for the loss of a stranger – then – what’s on next ?
The BBC has a stable of grief mongers – myrie is most fashionable but maybe they’ll go with sombre Welsh …huwy Edwards and not forget fergal ‘mr insincere ‘ Keene ….
Over at ITBB they tell us that the BBC has ‘retired’ its 100+ ‘genders’ clap-trap.
But being the BBC they tell us that “The Big Talk film was only made available on the BBC Teach website – our service for teachers…”
Try putting ‘BBC teach’ into your favourite search engine..
The joke is that if the had only put it out on one of their broadcast channels few would have watched it and no-one would have remembered what it said.
Welcome to the world of permanent dis-information BBC!

I heard that they were having a big drive to get disabled people in front of the camera.
I got in touch and they replied hoping, to set up a meeting.
I explained that I am partially disabled with a problems with my legs…..but that it wasn’t a clearly visible disability.
However, it does mean that I can’t stand for long periods of time and I can’t sit down for long periods of time.
This has been problematic and leads to infections and made it difficult to get work in usual occupations.
It’s still debilitating.
They didn’t bother to reply to that email or any subsequent emails.

Remember the day . Bobby peston writing a linked Twitter explaining how the UK got it right with Oxford AZ and the EU didn’t – as well other issues around the behaviour of the EU and what it is doing wrong now .
People replying saying first time they upticked one of his tweets ..
Someone replying to the key tweet at the end of Peston’s 8 tweet thread
I count 27 tweets saying : I agree with Peston for the first time
26 from Brexiteers
But the second one says “I did leafleting for a political party – the Lib Dems, to try and reverse it,
but quite clearly the EU has f*cked up here.
People look ridiculous to say otherwise.”
Read this whole thread, for the first time I’m delighted to read one of R Pestons tweets, it explains a lot and isn’t slating the UK or Brexit for the sake of it, we’ll done @Peston respect ✊ https://t.co/A0xHFW23iv

Give them their dinghies back and let them go back to France where they came from.
Bo Jo did say that would happen .
Not the BBC but an extract from an article about the spat between the EU an vaccine producers –
STARTS ‘analysis by Airfinity, a UK-based analytics company working for the life sciences industry, suggests the UK will have achieved effective “herd immunity” by vaccinating 75% of the adult population by 14 July while the EU will have to wait until 21 October based on supply deals and the latest delays.”

BBC WEB-SITE Watch #1 – How much?
Cannot help but wonder what Katie Price’s PR agent is charging her for the latest round of publicity over pictures of her and her teenage son. They have been all over the tabloids last week and are still on the BBC web-site today. That must be about eight or nine days in a row on the BBC site. Then there is all the photography. That cannot have been a cheap deal either as all the photos appear to have been taken professionally.
That’s all gonna cost.

To the BBC, Katie Price is just groundbait for viewers who otherwise don’t watch it….

Perhaps Attenborough has proclaimed that all the birds are now extinct and we just missed the announcement?

Given the BBC new trend of shovelling anything into the system, the latest cross-platform ‘news’ story has reached social media.

New taxes and charges now apply to almost everything that goes back and forth between the EU and the UK.

It appears that Donald Trump is back in business, having set up yesterday an “Office of the Former President.” (Ref The Epoch Times website)

Some people say this has apparently been confirmed by several Shadow Cabinet members, but sir Kneel Starmer is reputedly still sitting on the fence to see which way the Conservative Party might go before he makes up his self-proclaimed ‘Marvin’ mind.

What you see is this widely quoted
“Trump’s job approval numbers hit a record low of 34% in the latest Gallup poll, conducted Jan. 4-15, the pollster said Monday. That’s the lowest approval rating of his presidency,”
How’s that work ? you get your mates to do 1000 surveys , cherrypick the one which got the worst number, quietely bin the rest
Then go around quoting the cherrypicked one as if it gospel.
They use this
“That’s the worst *average* Gallup has seen since it started tracking approval during John F.
Smear not reporting.

I couldn’t see how many jabbers were working away but I would guess around 6 – 8 going by the choice of doors we were being shepherded through. Mine was 20 seconds and done.

……….because they relied on a french firm developing a vaccine which just hasn’t happened. … the BBC will do its best to distract us from this embarrassing remainer issue .

There, BBC. Not too difficult, is it?

Mark Easton was emoting on ‘PM’ in Blackpool about the high rate of deaths there and in Fleetwood, blaming health inequality, but rather undermining that argument by mentioning obesity, bad diet, smoking, heavy drinking, etc.
The more you make people free, the less equal they will be, in health or anything else; so the only solution would be more compulsion, such as banning smoking or enforcing healthier diets as a condition for nominally free NHS treatment. Do people really want that?

I’m not sure if this is funny or just pitiful.

There is usually a facebook version as well
The text that was removed
It kinda contradicts the scare adverts that the govt has paid for during the prog.

The “stealth-censoring” was also done to TalkRadio Facebook page version
That is a mobile link so it’s easier to see the comments
There is no discussion about the censorship in those 300 comments.
So maybe they have been censored as well

The BBC is chirping the ‘why is Britain so bad with COVID ?’
And guess what ? Back in March it was people on half term and ski ing who bought the Chinese virus back from Italy and Spain and other countries .
Apparently they have tracked over a thousand sites from where the virus spread.
So what ?
Blame globalism
Blame easy transport
Blame late or no lockdown
Blame the punters
Blame an unhealthy population
Blame obesity
Unusually none of this was pursued because it’s time for the weather with tamas shiftyernacker

8:30pm surprise edition BBC Panorama
As the number of people who have died with coronavirus reaches 100,000 in the UK, BBC Panorama tells the stories of some of those who have lost their lives.
Across the generations and occupations, we hear about the amazing lives that have been cut short, from the people who knew them best and loved them the most.
Go on them give us some proper info
where did they catch it ?
Not it Tescos was it ?
and they are mostly not crazy anti-maskers
..otherwise you’d have already told us.

Does the BBC not know how the internet works?
Over at ITBB they tell us that the BBC has ‘retired’ its 100+ ‘genders’ clap-trap.
But being the BBC they tell us that “The Big Talk film was only made available on the BBC Teach website – our service for teachers…”
Try putting ‘BBC teach’ into your favourite search engine..
The joke is that if the had only put it out on one of their broadcast channels few would have watched it and no-one would have remembered what it said.
Welcome to the world of permanent dis-information BBC!

The Daleks were equally bad at climbing stairs but still terrorised us earthlings!

A black, lesbian, transgender, Muslim Dalek invented the array of vertical slats around the middle of the Dalek shell that made it possible for them to climb stairs.
The original body, designed by old, white Daleks, looked like this!

Twitter watch
Remember the day . Bobby peston writing a linked Twitter explaining how the UK got it right with Oxford AZ and the EU didn’t – as well other issues around the behaviour of the EU and what it is doing wrong now .
People replying saying first time they upticked one of his tweets ..

Someone replying to the key tweet at the end of Peston’s 8 tweet thread
I count 27 tweets saying : I agree with Peston for the first time
26 from Brexiteers
But the second one says
“I did leafleting for a political party – the Lib Dems, to try and reverse it,
but quite clearly the EU has f*cked up here.
People look ridiculous to say otherwise.”

If they are illegal why are they still in the UK ?
Give them their dinghies back and let them go back to France where they came from.
Bo Jo did say that would happen .

“Biden raises election meddling with Putin call in first phone call”
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-55819769
“US President Joe Biden has spoken to Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin for his first time as president, warning him about 2020 election meddling .
That’s a high level English headline.
What’s the warning? stop meddling in the 2020 election…
Anway, Putins response was……..???
Oh I forgot this is the BBC,

Not the BBC but an extract from an article about the spat between the EU an vaccine producers –
STARTS ‘analysis by Airfinity, a UK-based analytics company working for the life sciences industry, suggests the UK will have achieved effective “herd immunity” by vaccinating 75% of the adult population by 14 July while the EU will have to wait until 21 October based on supply deals and the latest delays.”
ENDS
Be interesting to see whether that date is achieved …..
… the elephant – of course – is another variant which is resistant to the current vaccines bigly ..
