We are now in a situation of a distinct possibility of civil war in USA. The anger of over 80 million Trump voters (this is a majority anyway you look at it), is not abating. Far from it.

There is great danger for Britain here too. I don’t think our government realises the danger to it.

Instead we have a British government bent on terrorising the people.

When it needs the people, they will have lost its support.

The Democrats will just push ahead and nothing will be done to remedy the fraud and deception which is being aided by the Media in the USA. Unfortunately our media are of the same ilk and no doubt would relish the chance to cover up similar fraudulent occurrence in future elections here.
We keep hearing that “there is absolutely no evidence of fraud” in the US election, this despite scores of ordinary citizens signing affidavits exposing the fraudulent acts they have witnessed. There are dozens of videos plainly showing those counting ballots blatantly cheating for example scanning the same ballots over and over again, filling ballots in, scanning what are supposed to be postal ballots but are perfectly flat and have never been folded to go into an envelope and one of the ‘counters’ opening envelopes looking at which candidate had been selected and crumpling up most and throwing them in the bin.
Why if you had noting to hide would you go to Court to stop inspectors and computer experts examining the tabulation machines ?
Most worrying is how officials in both government and the Justice system are turning a blind eye or even condoning it. Courts refuse to even hear the evidence as they realise they could not fail to accept it.

The affidavits were from Trump supporters and were either hearsay, or misinformed.

                62 lawsuits, 61 lost.

Here’s what one judge on the affidavits in one case:

“Perhaps if Plaintiffs’ election challenger affiants had attended the October 29, 2020 walk-through of the TCF Center ballot counting location, questions and concerns could have been answered in advance of Election Day.

“Regrettably, they did not,” the judge wrote. “Plaintiffs’ interpretation of events is incorrect and not credible.”

The idea none of the courts examined evidence on its merits is another talking point, but its not true. In fact, some courts dismissed the cases for other reasons, but still went on to remark on the merits anyway. There weren’t any merits. These included Trump appointed judges.

Trump’s attorney general Bill Barr, Republican election supervisors, independent observers and US intelligence officials as well as courts including the Supreme court all found no evidence of significant or widespread voter fraud, and the Trump team couldn’t even put together a coherent theory on how this was done in several swing states with thousands of votes. And by the Democrats – who struggle sometimes to organise their own primaries.
(Not including the Hugo Chavez theory with the company that’s now suing those that defamed it).

On the other hand, Trump doesn’t like to lose.
When he lost Republican primaries in 2016 to Ted Cruz, he said he’d been cheated (think that was before he alleged Cruz’ father was implicated in the assassination of JFK)

He said he wouldn’t accept defeat in 2016 if he lost to Hilary Clinton. He said that if he lost to Joe Biden, he would have to have been cheated, and refused to commit to a peaceful transfer of power.

On election night, while votes were still being counted and he was behind, he declared himself the winner.

He begged, threatened and cajoled the Georgia Secretary of State to find him 11,780 votes. Biden won by 11,779.

For a couple of years now I’ve been in awe of contributors such as Fed, Taff, Stew and Halifax (Who I really hope is safe and well) etc. They all speak genuine, rounded truth…Nothing like the ghastly cesspit known as the BBC. That programme I just watched on BBC 2 now was the worst so far. They went lower than a snakes belly in their attempts to discredit DJT. Going to another level to prove their hatred and contempt for what I see as the last bastion of the USA as I know it. We are in troubled times my friends, and the sooner the failing BBC is nullified the better.

      Welcome, and thoughtful post.

How right you are. Have been writing of the dangerous election in the USA for a over a year. So it has turned out.
The post election period in America is even mote dangerous. And we in Britain, along with the BBC, if it had sense, would have kept mum, and adopt a neutral, ” We wish America well”, attitude.
Instead, Britain has put its support for the Biden regime – a regime whose validity is in question. .

Lets hope for Britain’s sake, we made the right bet.

At the insistence of Mrs D, and against my better judgement, we watched A Perfect Planet, the latest Attenborough vehicle. Well, excuse for him to add a voiceover from his bedroom.

There was some marvellous photography and in general I enjoyed the show. But there’s a reason I avoid these programmes as a rule, and sure enough along it came. “But things are changing. Melting ice [coupled on screen with a time lapse of the annual ice cap retreat] threatens to slow the ocean currents and stop them altogether.” Yes, it’s the obligatory climate change lecture that has become more part of Attenborough than those famous gorillas.

Next week promises to be a doozy. How humans are changing the planet and affecting its life support systems. Mrs D can watch if she wishes. I’ll give that a miss.

It disguises as Peaceniks in the Greenham Common era and CND. Or it will use AGW, Climate Change, BLM, Antifa, Racism, or anything it can attach itself to. Now its Wokeism, Great Reset and Climate Change, but its constant is Marxism.

The government is never going to axe the BBC, as its global reputation and reach, is too useful for any government.

        1. As the BBC is running short of money, it can reimburse the lost older 75s money.

        2. It can abolish the license, and simply give the money as part of the general taxation.

Option 2 is simple, as it avoids the hassle of collecting money. But the disadvantage is that the BBC is no longer an “independent” organisation. Not good.

Option 2 is also not good, as once an organisation becomes part of the government, its beyond the reach of people and criticism.

        Stay with Option 1
Let us consider that as people who are not yet 75 but despise the BBC, stop paying the license fee. As it takes to much money to chase after non-payers, the government ends up paying for the non-payers.

Which means that those who pay, as they like the BBC, end up paying twice. While we pay just once, but reduced. Obviously there is an optimum. If all stop paying the license, the government will abolish the license, and pay the BBC out of taxation, as they do on the continent.

The advantage at the moment, and with Option 1, is the BBC is not part of the government, and we can still lay into it.

Then there are the businesses, trades and industries killed off already because we were in the EU .

    + Vince Cable + Anti-Capitalism

    – Mariana Mazzucato, of UCL, tells Amol Rajan it’s time western governments took a braver approach to the biggest problems of our time – inequality, disease and environmental crisis.
(What crisis the weather is about the same as it’s always been ..variable)
Plugging her book : she argues that capitalism has foundered.
Taking inspiration from President Kennedy’s decision in 1962 to put a man on the moon by the end of the decade, she calls for a greater sense of purpose from governments and a bolder public-private cooperation.

    – Vince Cable looks back over the last 250 years to understand the power politicians have to transform their countries’ fortunes, for better or worse.

    – In Why You Won’t Get Rich the journalist Robert Verkaik aims his ire at capitalism and the failure to treat people fairly.
He argues that for too many people hard work is no longer enough to keep them off the breadline.
While economic statistics place the UK as the sixth richest economy Verkaik believes too few reap the benefit.

    11am Radio4 More Trump Hating
    Battle for the Captiol
With Trump out of office, Leah Sottile on what’s next for America’s far-right

The only tweet so far is by people who use fascist methods to fight perceived fascism
(@uaf tweeted it to @AntiRacismDay & @LouiseRawAuthor the hatey person who is the BBC Radio London historian)

Leah explores America’s far-right at this very moment; fired up by conspiracies, frustrations, and the defeat of the first President they have ever supported. (not true surely)
On Wednesday 6th January, as a Joint Session of Congress met to certify the election of Joe Biden, Trump supporters breached security lines and stormed the Capitol Building
in scenes that looked straight out of the racist hate filled propaganda novel The Turner Diaries.

(What you mean that after minimal pushing cops just stood down and waved goofballs in. A handful of which are identified with weird Identitarian groups)

Two pipe bombs were found just blocks away at the offices of the Republican and Democratic national committees.
(AFAIK no one knows whether that was an antifa nutter or Identitarian nutter .. I presume such groups are well infiltrated by cops etc.
It is true that ONE man Lonnie Coffman was arrested cos cops found his parked up truck with : 2 gun, 11 molotovs in it… He was away near the Capitol with a gun in his pocket and AFAIK was the only guy found have broken the no gun rule that day )

Leah asks how Donald Trump has managed to manipulate a rabble of foot-soldier extremists and asks what’s next – and how worried we should be.
(He didn’t manipulate them to go into the Capitol did he ..that is a Conspiracy Theory)

Interviews include Kerry Noble, and former elder of far right militant group….

These anti-Trump network people like Medhi Hasan and this guy have been tweeting for ages maybe a year plus their conspiracy theories that Trump was going to lead a “far-right insurrection”
.. so it is interesting that relatively minor Capitol event was quickly called that (no guns and burning/looting like BLM/antifa events often had)

She has written stuff about genuine violent “far right” nutters

I see people in her timeline tweeting
“Fascism is bad and you should be fighting it!” as a kind of justification for the fasciststyle tactics of antifa.

UK risks becoming ‘failed state’ says ex-PM

The UK must reform how it is governed or risk becoming a “failed state”, former Labour prime minister Gordon Brown has warned. Writing in the Daily Telegraph, he says Covid has exposed “tensions” between Whitehall and the nations and regions. Recent polls have suggested rising support for Scottish independence – and a potential border vote in Northern Ireland. “The complaint is that Whitehall does not fully understand the country it is supposed to govern,” says Mr Brown

So an utter failure as a state politician is platformed by a state broadcaster of 20,000 and enforced £5B budget losing audience hand over fist.

There are other indications of a ‘failed state’. For instance, it might sell off its gold reserves at a knock down price, or it might choose to raid the pension pots of its citizens, or it might even borrow hundreds of billions to bail out the banks. Three things that Gordon Clown would be rather familiar with…

    ‘Expectation management’ on school reopening

Ministers are desperate to avoid easing restrictions, only to have to re-impose them – and are managing expectations around the timescale of loosening the lockdown.

The chairman of the Conservative backbench 1922 Committee, Sir Graham Brady, told me: “Obviously schools should be back. If necessary offer all teachers the vaccine. Certainly once the most vulnerable are vaccinated, there has to be a roadmap and school children should be first.”

But one senior figure having regular conversations with the Department for Education told me there was an “unwritten acknowledgement” that schools returning fully after the February half-term had been “written off”.

Discussions continue about prioritising some year groups returning once this is deemed safe – but even that feels some way off.

So another Monday morning and what’s changed?

    Nothing.

Al Beeb and other MSM news outlets are now shilling for the schools to go back, as our kids are suffering mental illness, depression and missing out on social interaction (actually points I agree with) however…. 8am Global news finds a union member to apparently state that this is what they have wanted all along, and for HMG to have a plan, rather than just reacting.

    Really? My cynicism is boundless.

    For those that don’t think this is a plandemic, I’ll offer that this week the MSM will cover the following;

    Tuesday.
Scare story about the ‘English strain and vaccine effectiveness’
    Wednesday.
Doris blusters about easing lockdown & wont give a date, as Whitless & Van Tam say closing borders is not the right approach.
    Thursday.
News leaks out about the local authorities being granted more stealth lockdown powers (it happened last week but wasn’t widely covered as it doesn’t fit the MSM narrative) Handcock will come under pressure to release a road map to freedom from tory backbenchers
    Friday
Daily Mail shames ‘Covidiots’ not wearing masks in immigration line at airport, despite just getting of a plane after being airborne for 5hrs with 300 others in a aluminium tube with air recycled 89 – 100 times.
    Saturday
Vaccine roll-out slow due to brexit screams the Beeb and Guardian.
    Sunday
Football on the Beeb, to distract the sheeples.

With dodgy briefings and stats everyday of course, just to keep project fear first and foremost.

So the above may be my views, but take a look at the pattern since last March, then tell me something different.

The World Data graphs on vaccination rates in various countries are showing that the UK and USA are vaccinating more people with each passing day, their rates are accelerating. This is in stark contrast to countries in the EU where they are vaccinating fewer people per day now than they were a week ago. So it does look as though the shortage of vaccine in the EU that was forecast is becoming true. Currently the UK has vaccinated about 5 to 7 times as many folks per 100 as the EU average and this difference is increasing rapidly.
This is a story with enormous potential political fall out for the EU and for Brexit. How long will the French, Italians , Dutch et al remain passive when they can see how totally inept the EU has been in this critical issue. Yet it is hardly being covered in the British MSM. The BBC is hiding the story , trying to suppress it infact. How long can this suppression last ? In another couple of weeks the UK will have vaccinated , or offered to vaccinate, 15 million people. The entire 27 EU countries will be struggling to match that. How can any news organisation , impartial or not, not seek to investigate and report this story in detail. A marvellous advert for post Brexit Britain and a condemnation of the EU. Surely if the suppression continues the BBC will lose yet another great chunk of their credibility , such as it is, and with it hopefully another tranche of LF payers.

Anyway he recalled an occasion when their Goons called at his home demanding to know why he hadn’t paid his license fee. He told them he didn’t have a TV. However, the observant Goon attempted calling his bluff by pointing out the fact that he had an aerial on his roof. My friend replied by telling him, ‘I’ve got Milk in the fridge, it doesn’t mean I’ve got a cow in the garden’. Classic! He’s never been bothered since.

Vive la difference and how it may manifest itself

Google relegates this here site to number two this morning in my search results. But I should thank the near-ubiquitous tech giant for promoting their link to a Guardian feature which gets straight to the point: ‘Perhaps I’m biased but I really do think the BBC is impartial, by David Mitchell’

Yes, you are biased. Now, moving on…

The diversity we find in our print press today was largely confined as to which public park in London they sent their photographers yesterday to look at the snow.

The Telegraph chose: ‘Clissold Park in north London… filled with people enjoying themselves’ – well we can’t be having that: ‘…the fun was not shared by everyone – several police forces warned against snowball fights and some dispersed sledgers’

The freebie Metro opted for: ‘Greenwich, London’ – where a couple of young black lads improvised: ‘Who needs the Alps?… shopping bags as makeshift sleds’ – not for these lads the “bougie” shop-bought pink plastic sled, as pictured in the Guardian this morning (location sadly undisclosed) where the white mum and her little darling have the real thing, sled-wise.

Kids do love to improvise, jumpers for goalposts and all that… but perhaps in this day and age when the Daily Mail tugs at our social conscience and informs us: ‘third of families don’t have enough computers for home study’ – maybe we should get Marcus Rashford onto the lack of real sleds for kids, especially minorities?

Our Marcus is a busy boy at present, his diary looking quite congested. There’s the cup run: ‘United knock Liverpool out of FA Cup’ (Times); and there’s ‘Business of Football Summit… speakers include Marcus Rashford MBE, England international footballer and Child Food Poverty Campaigner’ (Financial Times adverstisment) – it’s good to have another string to your bow.

The Times, for their snow photography, ventured out as far as: ‘Primrose Hill in north London’ – but of course the nay-sayers were quoted: ‘police warned fun-seekers not to break “bubble” rules’

Well, I think you get the picture now. The Daily Express delved into the remote depths of: ‘Chislehurst, Kent’ – for their kid enjoying the snow pic.

Oddly, the tabloid Sun refrains from presenting us with scenes of weekend metropolitan frosty jollity and on the contrary demands: ‘Get kids vacc to school. MPs and parents’ fury at class delay’

Don’t worry that the Sun has suddenly gone all puritanical on us. They do say men think of sex every 7 seconds. I won’t fact check that claim with the official NHS stats. If you are curious, dear reader, I can instead suggest the Sun’s: ‘Lockdown love & lust. Sex survey special, see pages 14 & 15’ – so that’s your homework reading.

‘No guarentee schools will reopen after Easter, government warns’ (Guardian) – I’m left wondering how Easter will manifest itself? No churches, no family gatherings, we can’t travel, it won’t be a school holiday for the kids…

I’m reminded (and this is an absolute digression) of the late-Mrs AsISeeIt (late as in passed away) having once had a female friend who annouced her engagement to a fella. For whatever reasons, there was to be no engagement ring, no party, the couple already lived together and they set no date for the impending wedding. The missus, having a rather witty turn of phrase at times, enquired of her friend “So, how exactly is this engagement going to manifest itself?”

In a similar vein it seems we can completely scrub Easter from the diary as having any meaning: ‘[Easing of lockdown restrictions] is a long, long way off’ – the Guardian there quoting the psychopathic Matt Hancock, no doubt interviewed via Zoom from that sinister-looking red-painted little cubbyhole of his.

‘Are there still no great women artists?’ – asks the ‘i’ newspaper. Is this a trick question, wonder the liberal-minded? What’s the politically correct answer to that? I feel as though we are being interrogated.

And with the slickest of segues we alight upon: ‘Why women make better witnesses’ (Times) ‘Women are more helpful than men at catching crooks because they pay more attention, according to Scotland Yard’s only e-fit officer… PC Tony Barnes, 54.’

    Vive la difference.

None of this frivolous kids playing in the snow for the ‘i’ newspaper. They are still pining for the cancelled Glasto and the chance for the semi-grown ups to play about in mud. And of course for any left-leaning title it’s State aid that is the cure all: ‘Tories must change their tune to rescue the music industry’ (Ian Birrel – former speech writer to David Cameron)

Interesting to see the Guardian as a “middle of the road” paper (he joshed) : ‘Jon Bon Jovi on singing for Biden and taking on Trump’

Sometimes it takes skill to notice what the MSM leave out of the news. For instance – it likes those stories about how ‘Europe’ is better than blighty – particularly the likes of the Germans or French – but when it comes to vaccination numbers – and comparison ? Daily totals ? No. I think ‘patriot’ ( welcome ) mentions it elsewhere here .

Another ‘elephant ‘is Scotland – someone on Twitter reasoned that Scotland would leave the UK vaccination programme and get its rations from the EU on the day it got ‘independence ‘ – but not even a whisper . ….

It’s almost as though the MSM is pro EU pro SNP and will ignore anything to support those causes…

The BBC staff really do live in some alternative reality bubble. They don’t care what they scrape out of the barrel when it suits them.
Brown was the worst PM in British history right up until May took the title. I can’t look at him without remembering how he would just sulk and refuse to speak in meetings when someone upset him – causing it to be abandoned.

I wish Brown would just stick to Scottish politics and leave the English alone . There is enough noice about Salmon and crankie and inquiries in Scotland to keep him occupied . As for the other countries of the UK – do they really think they’d be better served being totally – and I mean totally – independent .

But on the upside they’d be no BBC – it would be broken up to ‘serve ‘ each nation ….

    BBC facing “financial risk”
A new report by the National Audit Office has laid bare the financial challenges facing the BBC. Notably the Beeb has seen audience viewing times decrease and this been coupled with a reduction in income from the licence fee. It’s mainly younger audiences that are tuning out, with 450,000 fewer paying the TV tax according to the most recent figures.

The TPA chief executive John O’Connell comments were picked up far and wide, most prominently in the Daily Express, “It’s no wonder millions of us have turned off the BBC. Even after forcing pensioners to pay the telly tax on pain of imprisonment, Auntie’s carried on splashing out on supersized star salaries and all-inclusive Hollywood holidays, leaving ratepayers to pick up the tab.”  It’s about time we axe the tax and let the British public decide what they want to watch.

Info from from today’s TPA weekly newsletter:
    https://mailchi.mp/1f35f1e08387/weekly-bulletin?e=49047cb219

I could add that as the BBC pays no Corporation tax (at all) compared to ALL other Broadcasters in the country, you would have thought the BBC has a distinct advantage. Secondly, the reason we are all leaving the BBC is moral bankruptcy, constant political bias, financial privileges beyond avarice and an almost complete loss of talent, (despite the high wages). Sexual deviants, Oh and the death of all ‘comedy’ due to aligned political ‘correctness’ for a select few ‘elite’ luvvie activists in Hampstead, North London, who think they are a ‘cutting-edge-humour’. So not a lot going for the BBC license or subscription service! And families steer clear of anything to do with the BBC ‘children’s services’, we don’t want any of that stuff here! ‘Creepy’ is the polite term kids use for the BBC offerings and its all creepy….tacky and worse.

When I asked my wife how much tampons cost, she mentioned “period poverty” and suggested it was nonsense.

As she has some knowledge of what she is talking about and also works in Benefits I’ll take her word for it. She seems to be backed up by the media money go-to-guy Martin Lewis.

The BBC are going for a double whammy with two of
the highest priorities of their agenda, the BLM vying
    again with Israel bashing.
They have with Micah Richards one of their latest
football pundits and who of course ticks all the right boxes
to climb the greasy pole like the personable Jermaine
Janus. Bur Richards could soon become numero uno with
    his more strident comments.
As for Israel the BBC have sent some of the “usual suspects”
to the Holy Land such as Yolanda Knell to tell us that
the rich yids are not sharing their vaccine with the
    Palestinian territories.
Yolande Knell interviewed a well educated model from
the West Bank who told her that even if Israel offered
the Palestinians the vaccine she had doubts about taking
it. Bang your head against the wall.
The status quo position of the BBC about Israel is a line with most of what Jeremy Corbyn’s position is. As the BBC’S is
    on most political issues.
Maybe if Hamas instead of firing rockets into Israel and using
their UN money to buy arms from other sources to attack
Israel ,would really be interested in peace Israel would
consider giving them some of the vaccine paid by their
Israeli Jews and Israeli Arabs in taxes and being of course
    administered to both.
As it happens the Oslo Accords say that the Palestinians
will be responsible for their own health requirements . Although
hundreds of Palestinians and even Syrians have been and are
being medically treated in Israeli hospitals.

    with nearly everything.
what the Jeremy Corbyn attitude towards Israel is

Suppose it gives him something to do to while away the long hours now that no-one thinks about him any more.

Meanwhile on the next page another group of lefties are doing the same thing, this time its the suspended Labour MP’s who are banding together to form a new group called LIEN (Labour in Exile) note the childish Leninist words chosen! this time its masterminded by Norman Thomas a suspended Labour MP.

All these lefties (anyone remember Wolfie?) have two things in common, they all get excited about grouping together and plotting against the nasty capitalist system and they all live within a few miles of Saaarrf London.

Whats the BBC angle then? Well I fully expect that when these plans are fully polished they will be rolled out and backed by our National Broadcaster with full force.
