Deal or No Deal Part 2 – or somewhere in between ? BBC happily shouting about shortages and price increases and not lay any of this Project Fear stuff at the door of the EU . Nothing changes .

We should be strengthening the Navy to protect our waters – but in fact we are doing the opposite.

The two units mentioned by VfB above consist of EU-loving middle rank diplomats in the Foreign Office and civilian human rights lawyers at the MOD who consistently wrongly advise ministers in order to keep us ensnared within EU rules.

yes the green blob certainly holds much of the blame but remember a fish always rots from the head down. The blonde cretin, Prime Minister Nut Nuts and the Tories have had over four years to build more dedicated fishery patrol vessels and get this right.
The underlying preconception must be even if we do “leave” there will be no serious attempts to control foreign vessels illegally fishing in our waters. It is exactly the same as in controlling the illegal migrants crossing the channel – they will fulminate, make statements, send diplomatic messages and employ ex military advisors – and sweet FA will happen ………………………………………………………………………….!
It is a bit like someone busting through your front door and assaulting your wife and kids and all you do is complain that they might wake the neighbours.

They despise the population of this country even more than Labour – if that is possible. They wish to project their own weakness and craven conduct upon the population as a whole. The political system of this country is now utterly broken, with the Tories now hiding behind their politicised police force and to be perfectly honest i cannot see this ever being fixed without some sort of a violent struggle.

Am I missing something ? I know Barbara Windsor was popular in some quarters (I was never a fan), but why are the royal family falling over themselves to pay ‘tribute’ ? First we had Charles commenting, and now I hear Prince William is doing the same thing. Er, why ? yes, she was part of a long running franchise of saucy films, and had a couple of decades in a tv soap, but she also dated a known killer, was married to a thug, had more than one abortion and had several affairs – one very long one with Sid James ! so what am I missing ?

Babs was very talented and had a good nature. If her private life was not everybody’s cup of tea I’m sure it was not as bad as the PM’s.
A good actor and one who has kept her fans throughout the years and given us lots of laughs. I can’t say I was a great fan of the Carry On films but they never deserved the sneering disapproval of petit-bourgeois liberals. Cheaply made, but very well acted they deserve to be regarded as national treasures. Check out the scenes between Sid James and Hattie Jacques in Carry On Loving. Not the best film nor the best script but look what the actors did with it!
Barbara Windsor was, in my view, the last of the regular members or old guard. Jim Dale is still around I believe but was not in many and the ‘sexy girl’ role actors both before Babs (Angela Douglas) and after (Jackie Piper) both good actors, are still with us. But it will be Barbara Windsor who will be most remembered as representative of the series at its best.

‘Ooooh matron’ still reverberates in many quarters! You’re right about what the actors did with the script, as everyone brought their personae from previous jobs in shows – usually very funny, but I just don’t remember Babs in the St Trinians stories – er – yes, I can now…:0~

Yes Brissles you are missing something. Over 30 years I have
only very occasionally watched a few minutes of Eastenders.
But my wife and millions upon millions of folk all over
the country have watched Barbara Windsor. She became
an institution in a way like David Attenborough .
I sat and watched “Babs” last night with my wife and there
were tears in her eyes as she watched it. And
remembering scenes from the Carry on Films. And ” Fings aint
what they used to be” brought back memories from when
I was a kid. ” They turned our local palais into a bowling alley”
” Infamy ,Infamy they got it in for me” from Carry on Cleo.
Yes this was a Kenneth Williams line. BUT Barbara Windsor
was very much part of this wonderful era. Brissles , she was a
larger than life icon. And for once the BBC and the media
were right in giving her the eulogies she deserved.
This is the BBC biased website. So the only cynical thing I
will say . Is if the BBC were to make Babs again ,and it wasn’t
made that long ago. The cast would be more diverse, much more
      diverse.Unbelievably more diverse.

BBC are still commenting ( sometimes via their Socialist sneering shows like Dead Ringers ) that “hauliers” might be stuck in great long queues on the M20 .
Naughty BBC . Hauliers and haulage companies are very British words for trucking firms . It’s great that for once the BBC wants to seem British , but the truth is that the international “haulage “ going through British ports are foreign hauliers . No amount of interviewing the Road Haulage Association – RHA – or the Freight Transport Association-FTA – or sundry other experts is going to change that .
What will change that is Brexit , then sacking (or hanging) the senior civil servants , getting a 180 degree turn of attitude in the Departments of Transport, the Foreign Office, Home Office and others . Especially the BBC .
Then an industry that once was , employing British people , paying taxes and giving other trades business can return and help the country.

Also, 106 members of Congress sign onto the Texas election lawsuit.

Thanks to Sidney Powell being independent from the White House, Trump’s legal team doesn’t seem to have anything for the CIA Swamp to spy on.
So I believe this is the evidence obtain and shown to the Attorney Generals which shows how Eric Coomer fixed the election, so that Trump wouldn’t win it.

Our global fire crisis is the sign of a dying biosphere. But we can take action
    Troy Vettese and Drew Pendergrass

    [Many fires recently]
“… an event predicted nearly a century and a half before by Karl Marx in 1848 …”

[The only prediction Marx seems to have failed to make is that his followers, having murdered one hundred million people, believe that the answer is more Marxism, because “we have not had real Marxism yet”.]

“… Donald Trump claimed that “it’ll start getting cooler”. After the Arctic tundra caught fire for the first time in 2018, the fascist Sweden Democrats suggested cutting taxes on gasoline. Conservatives in Australia and Brazil blamed the fires on non-existent eco-terrorists.
Centrists don’t realize that the solution is not more “facts” but a rebalancing in social forces.”

[Facts ugh, who needs facts? Certainly not the great Karl Marx, who preferred his own predictions.]

    …….

“Drew Pendergrass is a PhD student in Environmental Engineering at Harvard University. Troy Vettese is an environmental historian and a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center.
Pendergrass and Vettese are writing together Half-Earth Socialism (Verso 2022)”

    [
    Verso?
This article is an advertisment for their next global bestseller.
“Verso Books is a publishing house based in London and New York City, founded in 1970 by the staff of New Left Review.” Wikipedia.
“Verso Books is the largest independent, radical publishing house in the English-speaking world.” Verso!

Troy Vettese does not even have a Wikipedia article!
Even Guardian propagandists have Wikipedia articles, usually fawning.
Troy! Did his parents believe he was worth his weight in gold?

Harvard university believes Troy deserves recognition.

    More of the same.

It is months since I read a Guardian “article”.
No doubt it seems only yesterday you read some Guardian based rubbish from me.
I finished the article because it raised an instant suspicion in me.
When I reached the end of the article, the suspicion had become a certainty.
Having read this bollox, the question I asked myself was “Have these Commies the audacity to have their propaganda printed on the wood based products they are, supposedly, defending?”

I was unable to discover the answer to the question, “Are these lefty dicks the biggest hypocrites in history?”.
First in my Amazon UK search for Verso publications was :-
The Verso Book of Dissent: Revolutionary Words from Three Millenia of Rebellion and Resistance – Tariq Ali “Paperback 2016”.
I need to wait until 2022, unbated breath.

I was taught that a Global Fire Crisis happens if Oxygen levels in the Earths Atmosphere exceed 22 percent. The evidence is that it hasn’t exceeded 21 percent. But we would need a hundred times more carbon dioxide in the Atmosphere for all that Oxygen to be released into the Atmosphere. But it would also mean that all life would die due to all the CO2 being converted into Atmospheric Oxygen and Carbon. But thanks to the Gaia hypothesis, that’s all moronic Guardianista bullshit.

TOADY Watch #2 – a fundamental disconnect in an economist’s brain

Christiana Figueres, an LSE trained Economist (slight rolling of the Snuffy eyes) tries to point to the virtue of ‘Carbon Net Zero’, that it will create jobs. Aaah, no mention of the inflation that would be caused by Climate Change taxes which will destroy jobs, Christiana. And no questions asked by Mishal who had a very cosy chat with Christiana, no hectoring, no interruptions.

Christiana seems to know that there will be a big unemployment problem in the UK (thanks to Covid-19 and other things … oil industry, gas industry, gas boiler manufacturers, gas stove manufacturers, gas central heating engineers, household cleaning products industry, car industry ) so the benefit will be lots of jobs making insulation and going round the country in diesel-fueled electric vans installing it in homes.

What Christiana, the LSE trained economist, has failed to consider is that when people are unemployed they tend to stop spending on non-essentials – things like holidays, other goods, techy stuff, entertainment, and so on – and when they are in work they become economically active. When a person is economically active and in full employment they tend to travel and spend and buy stuff.

Stuff that is manufactured and creates CO2 as a by-product.

Personally, I have no doubt that he is correct and extensive fraud took place. The Democommies have proven themselves to be extremely adept at breaking every law in the book and totally ignoring the cherished, “Rule of Law” which everybody refers to without knowing exactly what it is. So, what now? Seventy-four million really angry patriots may well yet take up the issue unlike most of the US politicians. That’s a mainly armed seventy-four million pretty pissed off people. The Guardian performs a bad impression of the Grinch wanting to steal our Christmas this morning as on a positive note the frontpage offers a: ‘Bumper TV guide’ and a free festive food magazine titled ‘Feast’ but their news headline warns:

‘Rethink your Christmas plans, urge scientists’

Seems the Graun must have spoken to Professor Ebenezer Scrooge of the Jacob and Bob Marley Institute for Tiny-Minded Timidity and Scribbled on the Back of a Fag Cratchit Social Control Policies… where they gained the quote:

‘Ignore easing of rules or risk third wave of virus, experts warn’

Well, beside the tincel and baubles, this is supposed to be a sacred religious festival: ‘Churchgoers may miss out on midnight mass’ (Telegraph) Or, perhaps not.

One learns something every day. Now we know viruses can be managed to arrive in endlessly numbered waves. Therefore, with a prudent deployment of serial lockdowns and a compliant populace, our natural herd immunity can be held off long enough to justify the enormous investment in the vaccine. QED as the scientists say.

And, as far as this observer is concerned, the phrase “scientists say” is now up there with “and now the science bit” or “8 out of 10 cat owners say..”

Now we’ll find out how our world-envy, funded to the gills, sainted NHS performs on the basis they have just the one job to do: ‘NHS IT chaos hits vaccines at your GP’ (‘i’) – yep, thought so.

From endless waves to Brexit talks…

I don’t know whether participants in the interminable Brexit negotiations give one anther a wave as each session breaks up or whether they’ve adopted the elbow bump protocol – that must have been more of a strain for the Continental kissers than our more reserved handshaking Brits.

I’m rather afraid the Mail’s: ‘We’ll send in gunboats as No Deal looms, UK’s threat to protect fish’ smacks of a Boris red herring, placed in our daily chip papers to distract us – just before we’re gutted by the fishy deal he’s about to land. [I thank you, Panto season appears to be mostly just for the Royals this season, treat those as your Christmas cracker puns, by the way, I’m here almost every day].

To the sadly departed mistress of the double entendre, our lovely Babs. ‘Dame Barbara Windsor 1937-2020 Unofficial Queen of England’ says the Star. And if that doesn’t confuse the foreigners then I don’t know what will. One could add Carry On dolly bird, comediene, character actress, dementia campaigner and friend to the gangsters.

As the notion of protection racketeers comes to mind the FT provides a neat segue back to our erstwhile european friends: ‘EU urge bloc unity on Brexit talks’ – of course they do, and it’s good of the FT to remind us: ‘Members told no side deals if negotiations fail’

None too sure what to make of this statement from Craig Revel Horwood in the ‘i’: ‘The British like to see people being humiliated’

One wonders whether the ‘i’ would dare deliver a frontpage catch-all generalisation on any other nation? But, being British and too polite to complain I guess we’ll give them a pass.

Perhaps to show it has a heart the FT does a ‘Philanthropy Special. How to give it’ with Angelina Jolie, no less.

Oh deary me, look at this in the ‘i’: ‘Judge Rob Rinder, dirtbag celebs and their bogus charity’

AISI, thanks to the FT, I note that those ‘climate activists’ have been at it again, apparently lighting hundreds of candles in Berlin as a form of protest against Global Warming and Climate Change and to mark the 5th Anniversary of the Paris Climate Accord. They are obviously not too worried about the Global Warming aspects of their demonstration with those candles.

Poor dears … such limited intellectual capabilities.

I mentioned a week or so ago that I had noticed a clearly discernible reduction in the offerings of YouTube. Gone are a few of my favourites. Unless of course I search elsewhere for them. Censoring restrictions are growing rapidly by the day and YT is, for me, becoming increasingly bland. Clearly the Silicon Valley/Globalists/Wall St and miscellaneous Communists will welcome Harris to the WH with open arms in the knowledge that she will abandon any efforts to rein them in. So the sorry story will develop negatively without our champion DJT as a buffer.

TOADY Watch #3 – it could be popcorn time again over vaccines

The BBC have been brought up sharp by the two adverse reactions to the Pfizer vaccine. They deliberately avoided mentioning that all vaccination carries a risk to some people (a tiny, tiny number) in all their discussions prior to this week. In good Marxist/Fascist tradition, the BBC are still desiring vaccination to be made compulsory and a discussion on the TOADY Prog tip-toed around the possibility.

I get the impression that the BBC basically hate anti-vaxers. They think they are all Trump supporters, Brexit voters and ignorant and especially ignorant of the science. The BBC seem to want vaccine compulsion.

Problem is that some people in the UK for years – with the BBC cheering them on – have been pursuing ever increasing legislation over human rights, employment rights, freedom from discrimination, religious rights and so on. Now all that is colliding with the BBC desire for compulsory Covid-19 vaccination.

Make sure that you have a packet of popcorn handy.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news Under the heading ‘Must see – News pictures from around the world’ the taster photo is a striking picture of a young Mongolian falconer. There’s only one small, little, tiny, problem. Said young falconer is warmly clothed, bundled even, and is in a frosty snowy landscape.

The lads older brother Jud, a coal miner, leaves him money to place his bet on the horses, but doubting they’ll win he spends the money on a slap up meal and pop at the local chippy instead
Unfortunately the horses go and win.
Outraged at missing his big payout, Jud takes revenge by killing the eagle and stuffing it headfirst into their dustbin.

Just a small correction to my original post, I assumed a Mongolian falconer before seeing the photo caption. It was actually taken in Kazakhstan, if Wildy, Piku or Maxi become suddenly interested interested. Why they cannot correct my posting errors before I make them, I’ll never know.

I’d like to borrow that eagle as the sea birds around here have been a real pain this year . . …

TOADY Watch #4 – the contradictions and conflicts continue

Just a couple of weeks ago various Parliamentarians, and I guess also the BBC, were enraged or saddened at the decision to temporarily reduce the UK’s International Aid commitment by less than a third in order to help give support to people at home in the UK during the Pandemic. The BBC trailed many across the airwaves on R4 to trumpet that this was “a bad thing to do” or a “wrong-headed thing to do”.

Today, the BBC tell me in the 7 a.m. News that the UK has decided it will not use any International Aid money in future to fund fossil projects overseas.

    Poor old BBC.

It is apparent that the BBC don’t know whether to howl with anger or cheer this news.

Unbiased and neutral views and assessments of course .. Not “government plans to protect our waters after years of them being exploited” or anything looking into advantages of brexit ..

Yes there will be lorry queues in kent but this will be because french fishermen blockade Calais in a strop and Macron will let them stay there unhindered.

Not at all. The EU expects and demands that all British tourists who they won’t allow into Europe will still pay for their now cancelled holidays. It’s is only British instransigence that is preventing them from being allowed to take their holidays so why should hotel and restaurant owners in the EU be penalised?

The BBC website reports that a ‘senior Tory MP ‘ says that the government is ‘irresponsible ‘ saying that the RN will enforce control of UK fishing waters .

No Laughing Matter – Just take a look at this headline from The Express:

BBC IS a platform for leftwingers – Study finds huge BBC bias in comedy shows

The study referred to was carried out by the Campaign for Common Sense (CCS):

    https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1371675/BBC-bias-BBC-news-left-wing-latest-study-comedy

Here is what they said (is anybody surprised?):

“The CCS report – A Barrel of Laughs – found that almost three quarters of prime time slots [were] handed over to left-leaning, woke or anti-Brexit comics while minimal space was given to comics who are right leaning.”

And so BBC Director General Tim Davie gets yet another letter:

“In response to the findings, the CCS has written to new BBC Director General Tim Davie with a series of recommendations to tackle bias in BBC comedy.
    ….
Mark Lehain, CCS director said: “The BBC says that it wants to improve the diversity of output. The reality is our comedy shows are awash with ‘woke’ jokes and there is nothing funny about such flagrant bias.

CCS has also produced a list of 16 current pro-Brexit, right leaning comedians who either are not invited on the BBC or get limited opportunities including Alistair Williams who performed at Brexit Party rallies and Titania Williams.”

Hurray for Mark Lehain and the CCS! Do keep going, who knows, the BBC may yet wake up!

Oh, and don’t forget to have a look at the comments! In the space of a few minutes they have gone from double to triple digits!
