(One of the many lies the BBC have been peddling for months is that the violence is all coming from ‘far-right’ Trump supporters, when all you have to do is go to any number of ‘alt-tech’ channels to see abundant evidence to the contrary. Your day of reckoning is coming, BBC, just you wait.)

Considered the best footballer ever-against the likes of the great Stanley Matthews, in my opinion Maradona is not any better than Matthews was, if ever you saw Matthews in action, one of the best with a ball by his feet, unbeatable. I wish those that make such statements as to who is the best ever in whatever sport, should tone it down-that Cassius Clay was not such a good boxer, a showman maybe, but certainly not the greatest boxer ever, many who came before him, could claim such a title.

TOADY Watch #3 – missing presumed found but not for long
TWatO Watch #1 – breathless and hyperventilating over Economics

The BBC’s invisible Economics Editor, Faisal Islam, turned up to work today. He made an appearance on this day of excitement, with Rishi Sunak providing a glimpse at the economic and fiscal State of the State. I’m sure the BBC would have wanted him – Faisal – to be telling us all we are in a state, a desperate one at that.

Instead there was not too much doom and gloom today from Chancellor Rishi Sunak. Faisal Islam became invisble again and Darsini David, BBC Economics Correspondent was left to hyperventilate and speed-talk for The Montacutie on TWatO. Darsini appears to work far harder than Faisal – the talk rate was impressive – so the BBC could save hundreds of thousands of £s in salary and give free TV Licences to lots of OAPs if they got rid of Faisal and left Darsini to it.

We were provided with some excitement though. Lucy Powell MP (Lab) was asked to comment on the Chancellor’s speech and it became apparent that she had not either a) listened to it all, or, b) fully understood all of it.

Is Covid 19 the real threat it has been out to be? In Europe and in parts of the US, it is clear that the people understand that the lockdowns and mask rules are a bigger threat to them than Covid. Even the police, who welcome any excuse to exercise power, are backing away from enforcing ineffective but intrusive Covid rules-as one Police chief pointed out-there is no point in using the police to fight a pandemic. The only reason that the “pandemic” continues is that Western public health officials are financially tied in one way or another with Big Pharma, and it is suspect that public health officials are using their positions in the interest of these financial connections. Just let us watch how the potential Covid vaccine will be surreptitiously encouraged to the public-aided by the BBC-rejection will not be tolerated.

It’s selective reporting time at the BBC.

The BBC are going apoplectic at the proposed public sector pay freeze.

Please ensure you are sitting before reading on.
I’ve written many times about the hidden cost of public sector pensions.

In 2019/20 the employer pension contributions for teachers rose from 16% of salary to 23% of salary.

So the remuneration went up by 6% by this method alone.
That doesn’t include the annual inflation increase plus the increments for nearly everyone not on the top of their pay band. For ordinary class teachers that’s about 9%.

Hands up who got a total package increase of 15% last year?
    No-one?
    Thought not.

And yet on the BBC we get the pathetic sob stories from public sector workers. In their rock solid safe jobs.
Meanwhile expect 2.6 million private sector unemployed next year.
They are the real heroes of coronavirus.

Listening in on a covid research webinar, I learn the government are planning eleven priority levels for the covid vaccine.

Ten of them reflect in total a quite small % of the population.
    The eleventh is ‘the rest’.

Today the chancellor unveiled the dreadful state of the public finances.

Yet there is not a shred of thought given to vaccinating as a priority those who as a result can contribute most to the economy.

I wonder if the government and the NS&I would have dared cut the rate on their Income Bonds from around 1.15% down to 0.01% if there had been an election in the offing. In concrete terms, this means that a holding of £1,000, which would have given you a measly £10 per annum before the cuts, will now give you an insulting 10p.

This sort of robbery is of course nothing new, as we’ve been seeing it done to savers for well over a decade now. Even the total payout on the popular Premium Bonds fund is down from 1.4% to 1% (so about 71.5% of what it was, starting around now). How long before even that 1% is cut further, “because of Covid and the economy … …”?

Sir, Ellie Harrison, the Countryfile presenter, is right about rural racism but perhaps not in the way she perceives it.
There are very few truly rural people in this country, and our farms and way of life are presented in a sanitised way, as in Countryfile; our country pursuits are vilified or made illegal (foxhunting), and we are called “country bumpkins”.

    The Fullfact segment on TalkRadio
The thing about journos and fact checkers is that they don’t analyse 100% of someone’s data , they look at 10% to get a gotcha

The DSHC got burnt on Sunday for laying into the Daily Mail, but then later deleting their own tweet

FullFact pointed out the DM had got data from a maverick called
    @Jon_statistics
Yet FullFact has a gotcha againt @Jon_statistics
cos he was being a bit of a showman
and saying official graphs don’t adjust for growing population.
And he produced a graph which pleased Covid-skeptics cos it showed mostly this years excess deaths are within normal range.
But the thing was he’d made an enormous adjustment for population growth of 5% in a year.
He then handled that badly by blocking people who asked about it.
Then when time went by he produced new graphs and deleted the first flawed one.
The FullFact guy basically used that to denounce all @Jon_statistics graphs and all Daily Mail graphs
.. Now that’s wrong cos although @Jon_statistics idea of drawing a line of the last 5 years minimum and maximum weekly deaths over the last 5 years is not perfect, it does show something .

BTW when the first wave & lockdown effects caused a big blip in excess deaths , that was always going to be followed by lower deaths at some point , cos people can’t die twice.
However we’ve not caught up yet cos still new batches of 84 year olds are dying a few months earlier.
Sometime we should catch up with all those excess deaths in the first wave & get many weeks with 1,000 death/week lower than average.
    We are not there yet.

In case anyone had any doubt. Things are not normal, and they won’t be normal after the pandemic either. There will be another pandemic after this, and our compliance is being tested. So far its gone too plan.

What that plan is… and by who, is in debate.

    Maybe its this one…

On the evidence of a pathologist that its mass hysteria by the mass (BBC) and co) media productions – that claims Apocalypse is the fault of some-people/too-many-conservatives/mass production/global-warming/cars/food-production/conservationists/capitalists/families/Churchill/statues/white-people-of-colour/farm-animals/Daily-Mail-readers… yes the left hate us all with a Virus.

Finally, in case your still unconvinced. This gal seems to know what they are up to. A new World Order of *rap politicians who can fix elections (with enough money) and Save the Planet.

Biden is the man. To be replaced by another in very short notice to Save the Planet. Its best summed up from ‘Lockdown Sceptics’ comic video. I would laugh if it was not so serious, that it just might just be true.

Because everything is a prediction of the BBC, which in itself is abnormal and deranged (which they claim is truth) which cannot be questioned (like support for Biden) against all the odds and despite BREXIT.

A global reset. A virus to control the population. Blame it on China or the Russians? I think it was totally home made in the US or UK. The cure will be to end of democracy, give up ever owning a house and car ownership, be totally state driven, praise the NHS (or the Co-op), free ‘meds’ for life. Short life and then die of NHS indifference from all other non Covid causes. And that means everything else non-covid. Everything to fall apart for two years. Fianancial collapse (no problem just ask for aid from the new World Order), they can just make money from C02.

    Its a new industry.

    All based on mass hysteria.

Drastic population control. Save the Planet. Save the Globalists. UN Agenda 21. I was wondering when it would kick in. The cure is Biden (of course) and all elections will at some point stop. Why bother with democracy when its so easy to cheat?

Lie to the public enough times, and it becomes true.

I hear Maradonna has died, I never much cared for her songs, but for Lineker to accuse her of cheating at football is a step too far I think.

You can’t be good at everything, I suspect her cricket skills were not up to scratch either but you dont hear Ian Botham moaning.

I’d like to see how Lineker gets on with “Papa Don’t Preach” on a karaoke night.

Darcy, did I tell you that in front of me is a football programme from 1965, when Luton Town played Reading?

Gibson was playing at half-back, but later went on to play centre in Rugby Union, where he played for Ireland until he was nearly seventy-three! He also developed the iconic guitar often used by Jimmy Page, possibly during half-time against England in 1968!

Jardine was also playing at full back, and this must have been after his unpleasant involvement with the Bodyline series!

You can see that Scrobs knows quite a lot about sport, but as an expert Eton Fives player, I also learned a great deal from football players who use their hands!

Didn’t Maliddonna do a single called ‘Like a vongole’?

Ah yes, Jimmy Page’s 1959 Gibson Le Paul, they sell for up to £500,000 and more now I am just checking black Friday deals see if there is a bargain one around, I live in hope

“If you know a little bit about fancy guitars or about Joe Bonamassa, you probably already know that the 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard is the most coveted guitar on the marketplace. As an article by Gibson points out, however, this guitar didn’t gain its tremendous value over night. When they were first released, the asking price for a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard was under $300. That included a guitar case. And probably some picks. An incredible value, to be sure.

Today, the guitars are just a little bit pricier. According to Guitar Player magazine, while a 1957 Gibson Les Paul, similar in specs to the ’59, will sell for something in the ballpark of $100,000, the ’59 will go for a half million dollars and have even gone significantly higher. This just goes to show how highly prized these guitars are. And while models from 1958 and 1960 are also highly prized, they have not achieved the peak luster that the 1959 model has. And these models are pretty rare. According to Tony Bacon’s book 50 Years of the Gibson Les Paul: Half a Century of the Greatest Electric Guitars, only about 650 of the guitars were produced.”

BTW Les Paul also invented multi track recording

Ian Stewart, the one that the Stones kept side stage because they did not think he looked good enough.

Ironic considering Keef has a face like a witch doctor’s rattle and Jagger is not exactly the face that launched a thousand ships, more like someone set fire to his face and put it out with a shovel.

Saw Stewart at Dingwalls playing with the Blues Band with Paul Jones singing, great night.

Missed the last train home and had to spend the night at Kings Cross Station, not for the faint hearted in the 70s.

Tramps, beggars and ladies of the night wandering around and loads of Kiss fans also stranded from a Wembley gig it was hard to tell the difference between them all actually.

Ofcom survey’s are rubbish anyway. How can Sky be rated impartial by 69% ?

Ofcom warned the relationship between the BBC and its audiences could be “jeopardised” if impartiality concerns are prolonged.
It welcomed director general Tim Davie’s move to “double down on impartiality” as “likely to help improve perceptions”.

Davie recently issued a set of stringent social media guidelines that will stop BBC journalists from expressing personal opinions on political matters or “controversial subjects”, while they will also be given special impartiality training.
Ofcom also used the report to chastise the BBC for a lack of transparency around its local and regional news cuts.

The article is paywalled but I have quoted most of it

Shadow Chancellor Anneliese Dodds just claiming on BBC news that Public Sector workers should get big pay rises so that they can spend more and thus support other industries and therefore private sector jobs.

Labour really do believe there is a money tree don’t they?

Follow this argument through and you might argue that Public Sector workers should have their pay doubled or even trebled and the result would be that everyone else would be rolling in it!

As I mentioned elsewhere discretionary spending this year has gone on the biggest repayment of household debt (credit cards, bank loans) in history.

And all this hullaballoo is so synthetic. pparently folk earning under £24k will get a rise, and very many are on pay scales with guaranteed increments. So the proportion on a pay freeze is small and those affected are either high earners or at the top of the scale.

My problem is that the government are now so snowflake-affected they do not have the b**** to spell it out.

Covid ‘could set back equality 25 years’

Since the start of the pandemic, concerns have grown that women are shouldering an increasing burden of domestic chores and family care. Now data from UN Women suggests 25 years of increasing gender equality could be wiped out in the space of 12 months. Additional demands such as home-schooling and caring for vulnerable relatives mean a “real risk of reverting to 1950s gender stereotypes”, BBC 100 Women hears, with women missing out on work and education, and suffering ill-health. Before coronavirus, it was estimated women around the world did three hours of unpaid work for every one done by men. Now that figure is higher. To demonstrate the impact for us, three women kept a diary of a typical day.

      ***

With added #couldfiles with ‘suggests’, etc… the BBC’s Wimmin… are ‘hearing’. Typically.

Three women kept a diary. Three cherrypicked women, one presumes.

And how many men were asked to keep a diary? None – in the interests of fairness and equality, of course.

But, hey, this sort of contrived nonsense is far more important than trivial issues such as the appalling level of male suicides. After all, they’re only men…

Stop putting men’s sections in clothing stores on upper floors, especially where there are no escalators
