I quite like Count Arthur, in a sort of Harry Worth way!

He’s quite representative of the BBC, going his own little way regrdless of whatever anyone else might think.

I’m with Count Arthur, I find the character to be rather subversive in a quiet nostalgic way. A man out of sync and swimming against the modern tide. A sort of grown up, retired, Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em.

Huffington Post tells me this morning that President Trump has been making more ‘baseless’ claims, a variation on the BBC’s ‘without evidence’.

Can’t be long before even these pages get automaticaly flagged ‘without evidence’.

    Welcome to the ‘new normal’.

Do these idiots not realise that there’s a world of difference between a baseless claim and one that not (yet) been substantiated? Or is it just yet another example of the depths they will go to to vilify Trump, throwing honesty, accuracy and decency to the winds in the process.

    Curious how Brillo reacts.

The BBC will either ‘quote’, or “quote” without awkward ‘analysis’ or see this as best ignored if its goes off piste given how these clowns have reacted since Trump was elected, and Brexit.

Not investigated by the lying BBC:

The casual visitor to this site may not be aware of the extent of the suppression taking place against conservative voices on social media in the US.

Large numbers of bloggers, YouTubers and posters on Twitter and Facebook are reporting interference and suppression of one sort or another. (BigTech have infinite ways of suppressing and censoring at their disposal.)

Given the bias of 99% of the media, ‘alt tech’ has become the last platform for free conservative expression of ideas, and it is now under serious threat.

Mercifully new platforms are springing up, but their reach is tiny.

Here’s just one cri de coeur among dozens I’ve seen in recent weeks.

By Heck Brissles, have to say your observations are quite eye opening-I had no idea these poor liitle chaps/eses/ were likely to suffer as much as it appears they will-of course being old gaffer, well not that old!, I would have them all doing 2 years under military service-discipline, robustness, endurance, stoicism, and a better understanding of the world would give this nation a better person after that period and someone better able to cope with further Uni education. One chap I knew did his 2 yrs service back in 1955 then went to Uni to get his degree-he admitted he was far better able to cope with University at 21 then at 18-in those days you were not considered adult until 21 yrs old, good job.

Here’s an odd thing. Friday – Talk Radio is seen as such a danger to the leftie consensus they have commissioned a special series of (queer) radio ads on some new left wing cause of society victims. The last heard this morning was a transgender voice a new victim being installed as an Ad for the gender swop cause. Its been funded by an odd organisation (I missed the name) that I presume is SOROS (charity subsidiary) funded and Talk radio cannot refuse the Ad spot for fear of OFCOM discrimination claims. Its an odd one for sure.

An odd place to put this kind of Ad spot, its not a free Ad spot.. The message I presume is to ‘rub our noses in it’, so that we cannot ever turn off, as they ‘think’ they can own all the airwaves (can buy all the electorate by such advertising) and tell us what to think and how to behave not only through the BBC, but through commercial radio and TV stations across the planet.

It stinks of something rotten. Its a political Ad dressed up as a charity.

I am really surprised Talk Radio agreed to air it on a station that is probably the only one that discusses the daft left wing cause issues. Maybe one of us can track down who is sponsoring this…? I had to turn it off, sadly. No doubt it will be repeated mid morning every day.

Philip_2, These woke adverts have been played each day this week at approx 11:40 during the IROMG. They are not just a quick 10-15 second ad, they must be a minute long at least. I think they are designed to get listeners to TURN OFF their radios. Does anyone know if LBC are playing them? I don’t listen to LBC anymore so don’t know.

Seen enough maps of the US with various colours indicated?
This is a map of where you can own a kangaroo in the United States. The red means you cannot own a kangaroo in that state. The green means you can get a kangaroo without a permit. And the orange means you have to have a permit in order to get a kangaroo.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-54828634

Let’s treat this one on the basis that the infection is indeed both deadly and very easy to catch.

And that quarantine lockdowns for the healthy population are the scientifically recommended prescription.

    Riddle me this:

Why on earth would anyone be encouraged to queue to be tested when they might just as well catch it on their return trip home from the testing centre?

I could have understood it more had it been Stevenage – the home town of Lewis Hamilton, or ‘slum town’ as he so eloquently describes it. He clearly hasn’t been to many slum places but I suppose compared to Monaco then most of the world is a slum. Understandably he is thought to be something of a tosser there, despite his racing achievements.

Good post Brissles, indeed he is widely regarded as such both within and without the F1 community. Still, he is feted by some poor souls as having something useful to say about race and victimhood, much as Sir Rashford is revered for his insights into child nutrition.

The Times Review is black obsessed similar to BBC
A couple of weeks ago we got 2 pages from Olusoaga.
He claimed hundreds of black Tudors before the time of slavery came to Britain with Spanish brides.
He says British captains started to merchant trips down to West Africa in 1530s.
Olusoage says John Hawkins went on trip in the 1530s
That is strange cos he was only born in 1530, so maybe O means 1550’s
He first captured a Portuguese slave ship. Then later he captured local black people from their homes. I doubt that was common AFAIK, slaves were just bought from opposing tribes.
Others put the date at 1562 saying Hawkins took the slaves to Spanish West Indies where he traded them
O says Hawkins ran slavery trips for years with his last voyage in 1568 when he lost 3 ships in a battle with the Spanish.
And thus such British slavery trips were halted for decades.
Then Olusoaga links in Drake, claiming he was his cousin , and also “an occasional slave trader”. (Actually Drake was his of his second cousin )
O says Drake was special friends with 4 blacks who he met in Central America and joined his crew and came back to Britain.

The Reviews next page is a full on black actor Alex Lester
Then the film picks are 2 black films : 12 Years a Slave, and Yardie.

Perhaps it is evidence of the starving children I keep finding laying in the street begging for a couple of quid for a mackiedee
