Weekend Thread 31 October 2020

The evening of All Hallows. A full Blue Moon . A busy time for BBC bias – Labour Party Civil War again – islamic terrorists murdering again – and America deciding its president again – full Covid Project Fear again – and biased BBC staff publicly revolting over restrictions on expressing their bias on social media . Where do we start ?

The R4 news at 8 managed to squeeze in a few anti-Trump pieces, and managed to bring on voices hoping that Trump would finally SOON be gone.
Well, the Chinese Communist Party would be pleased. Islamic terrorists in Europe and President Erdogan would be pleased. And ultimately the ‘liberal’ fools at the bbc would be dealt with. (They think they are ‘liberal’ (freedom is key) but are actually socialists (‘equality’ is key). Unfortunately the rest of us will be down the tubes as well, by then. Beeb needs to be closed down urgently.

Facebook has no way of knowing whether Dr Mike Yeadon is correct or not. Therefore it is purely political – because he is contradicting the global agenda.

Similar to Clegg telling NF that the EU Army was a “dangerous fantasy” eh?

I don’t pretend to understand any of the science but find Mike Yeadon convincing.

Weirdly there is no necessary contradiction between Yeadon’s very interesting non groupthink approach and the Sage doom-mongers.

The logic of Yeadon is that things will not get as bad as others predict, using his alternative scenarios of immunity method and levels.

But there can be little doubt about the current direction of travel and there is a fairly clear need to keep hospital admissions below the ITU capacity. Yeadon would have to produce a model showing how his approach would keep admissions below ITU capacity without a lockdown and/ or with what other transmission reduction measures.

Boris is getting it in the neck for being too slow on lockdown. He needs to articulate better why he was trying to keep the economy open.

I note wee krankie and laddo in Wales are expecting to get the latest Rishi handouts while demonstrating their independence. Hypocrites.

Which makes it all the more imperative that Trump wins again, which he will if the vote is fair. Almost no energy from the Biden campaign, he and Obama only had 60 spectators to a ‘rally’ in Michigan where Trump was getting tens of thousands each time. Most of the campaigning has been from Harris, who was eliminated from the candidacy early and thus doesn’t have much grassroots support, as shown by her own poor attendences. Trump also has the momentum now in states he didn’t win last time around such as Minnesota, Nevada and New Mexico. But of course, he only has to hold the states he won last time around, of which only Wisconsin looks in any danger without voter fraud (North Carolina has a nine-day extension for votes to be received, which is a worry) which wouldn’t be enough to cost him the election – plus, he’s still well-within the margin of error there as well and leads in terms of ‘leaning’ voters.

The liberal media, which quite demonstrably includes the BBC and has done for decades, has done its best to demoralise Trump voters with the idea that Biden’s a certainty. This was the same tactic that failed in spectacular fashion four years ago, because if anything it’s only galvanising Trump supporters and making Democrats complacent. That’s not something you should be doing when your candidates are already unpopular, not to mention their ham-fisted attempts to suppress the NY Post’s Hunter Biden stories which had the Streisand effect and led to “how do I change my vote” trending online, indicating that many Democrat voters are thankfully still self-respecting and don’t want to support corruption. Add all of this together, and it’s looking extremely good for Trump. But we can’t relax.

Hillary Clinton has a unique distinction: She has been exonerated twice after extensive federal investigations, the latest entirely unjustified and the result of a politicized Justice Department. President Trump of course was NOT exonerated in special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation, which found 10 or so categories of conduct that but for the present policy of Justice Department guidelines would serve as the basis for obstruction-of-justice charges. If Trump is defeated in November he can still be criminally charged the moment he leaves office.
Follow the latest on Election 2020

But back to Clinton. It may be hard to remember given then-FBI Director James B. Comey’s voluminous investigative report in the midst of the 2016 election, his testimony before Congress and his intrusion into the campaign 11 days before Election Day, but he found no basis she committed a crime. His subjective comments about poor judgment and negligence were entirely irrelevant (and frankly inappropriate for the FBI, which is charged with finding or not finding criminal conduct). The bottom line: Clinton committed no crimes.

That was not enough for Trump. Based on no new evidence but rather on an undisguised personal vendetta, Trump opened up another investigation. The Post reported:

John Huber, the U.S. attorney in Utah, was tapped in November 2017 by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions to look into concerns raised by President Trump and his allies in Congress that the FBI had not fully pursued cases of possible corruption at the Clinton Foundation and during Clinton’s time as secretary of state, when the U.S. government decided not to block the sale of a company called Uranium One.
As a part of his review, Huber examined documents and conferred with federal law enforcement officials in Little Rock who were handling a meandering probe into the Clinton Foundation, people familiar with the matter said. Current and former officials said that Huber has largely finished and found nothing worth pursuing — though the assignment has not formally ended and no official notice has been sent to the Justice Department or to lawmakers, these people said.

The coverage of her exoneration has been minimal. The number of stories such as Clinton cleared in witch-hunt probe or Right-wing accusations debunked has been underwhelming. The legitimate media does not seem interested in asking Trump or other Republicans to acknowledge that their accusations were baseless. You would think legitimate media outlets at the very least would self-reflect on their coverage that often treated long-ago disproved accusations as still unsettled.

Some might think it extraordinary that the BBC continually invites Nabila Ramdani into its studios, as they did this morning on ‘Sunday’, to voice her views given that she is an Islamist mouthpiece who excuses and downplays terrorism and blames the West for everything.

But then again….her views are not extreme nor in any way controversial or misleading in he eyes of the BBC for her views are the BBC’s.

Muslims are the real victims of Muslim terrorism…tick

Muslim terrorists are not ‘Muslim’ [Despite using the exact same arguments as Ramdani…just using violence to press their case]…..tick

Muslims are the new Jews and Macron and other critics of Islam are essentially Nazis [Don’t remember Jews in Germany launching savage attacks on other Germans nor trying to set up a parallel society, they integrated, were productive and constructive and prospered]….tick

Western foreign policy is to blame….the poor Muslims [er…aren’t they not Muslims?] are radicalised by attacks on their religion, marginalisation and disenfranchisement…tick

Liberal values and beliefs are offensive and go against their own values….tick

The solution to radicalisation caused by that discrimination is to allow Muslims to practice ther religion freely and completely and to live ‘as Muslims’…so integrating by, erm, not integrating at all….tick

So why live in a Western liberal country, why migrate to Western liberal countries, why act surprised and offended when asked to adhere to laws and values of the host country? And why does the BBC push their apartheid, separatist narrative giving it credibility, legs and publicity?

‘Sunday’ had on a Jewish commentator to talk about Labour’s little problem….nothing too objectionable about the interview….er….until the end when the presenter suddenly launched into an attack out of nowhere demanding to know what the Jews were doing about anti-Black racism within their community. A bit of deflection and misdirection there, trying to almost justify or excuse and downplay anti-Semitism by saying the Jews are racists too. Why is the whole Jewish community responsible for a few bigots when the BBC puts it out there that the Muslim community is not responsible for Muslim terrorism….or er…terrorism by Muslims who of course aren’t ‘Muslim’? Maybe though ‘Islam’ is responsible and thus anyone who practices it and promotes it should be held responsible?

OK….but when do you ever hear such a juxtaposition when Blacks or Muslims are being interviewed and telling us how terrible racism or Islamphobia is? When have you ever heard a BBC interviewer suddenly demand to know what the Black community as whole is doing about its anti-Semitism, its anti-Asian views, its anti-white narratives? Or demand the same of any Muslim in regard to anti-Semitism, homophobia, misogyny, anti-Westernism?

They supported Burnham when he was against the government wanting him to go to tier 3, they supported the call for lockdown when the government were against it so now they will support an end to lockdown to be able to go against the government again.

I suppose they are just waiting for more government decisions so that they can automatically go against whatever the government comes up with.

Odd thing…when WHO said ‘Test, test, test’ the BBC adopted it as their own mantra and repeatedly berated the government for not following the advice….however when we get this from WHO…

‘Dr David Nabarro, a WHO special envoy for Covid-19, has said, “We in the WHO do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus … we really do appeal to all world leaders: stop using lockdown as your primary control method.”‘

…the BBC suddenly loses all interest in WHO advice. Odd thing eh?

The government’s seemingly preferred solution to the virus is to lock us in our homes for evermore and feed us through the letterbox, making us submissive, compliant and obedient with endless droning propaganda via its state broadcaster mouthpiece….maybe the endgame will be not to feed us at all and that will completely solve the problem and also save the planet which is the ultimate end result that they desire.

You may think I’m joking or being a bit extreme…and maybe I went a bit too far…however there are plenty of people, many in the BBC, who wish to see capitalism[ie your job] destroyed, consumerism [to you and me buying stuff to make our lives easier and more enjoyable] ended and human concerns and needs put aside in order to rewild the planet. They care not a jot about your jobs or lives…you, your jobs, your lifestyles are the ‘necessary murders’, the necessary sacrifices to ‘save the planet’….you must regress back to the stone age or some such, hunter gatherers, living off the land , in harmony with the land. Of course any such way of existence would not only be extremely harsh it would entail the mass starvation of billions and endless warfare, death and suffering….The billions on this planet right now cannot exist ‘off the land’…it has to be industrial farming or we starve.

    How about ‘The Great Reset’?….

‘As business leaders and policy makers around the world come to terms with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, what should be their priorities? Do we aim to get back to where we were before, or should we take the opportunity to make society fairer, smarter and greener, and get humanity off the road to climate catastrophe – a ‘great reset’?….we need to look forward to a whole new reality.’

    Or the lovely Uncle Attenborough?….

‘Sir David Attenborough says the excesses of western countries should “be curbed” to restore the natural world and we’ll all be happier for it.

The veteran broadcaster said that the standard of living in wealthy nations is going to have to take a pause.

Nature would flourish once again he believes when “those that have a great deal, perhaps, have a little less”.’

Of course he doesn’t actually mean ‘a little less’…he means a wholesale change in lifestyle and work….and why is it that only ‘Western countries’ that are the problem? Not Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India or the booming China or any other developing nation? It’s the old BBC narrative…the West is bad, too powerful, too rich and, rather than see other countries developed and catching up, must be crippled and sabotaged, that old socialist trick of ‘levelling down’ to make us all equal…equally poor and miserable….it is an agenda pushed by the Soviets/Russians and Chinese…it is the Marxist aim of reducing us and our societies to chaos in order for them to be able to take over….look what they did in the US after Trump was elected….along with their useful idiot allies, the Democrats and the lefty media, they managed to disrupt and corrupt the US political system and undermine stable government for 4 years ending with riots and almost civil war…instead of governing Trump had to firefight a continuous battle with the Dems and the media who were trying to undermine him in order to unseat him….the Russians could not have hoped for better outcome of a few lurid lies to a compliant ex-MI5 officer who ‘believed’ them and worked hard to spread them around because he didn’t like Trump…..ably assisted by the BBC which was more than happy to spread misinformation and fake news on an industrial scale.

When the world’s most trusted and respected broadcaster gets into bed with Putin, Islamists and Greens the outcome can never be good. The BBC is one of the most dangerous organisations in the world.

The war against Whites: South Africa Today reports 42 farm attacks and 7 farm murders 1-31 October. (During September there were 48 farm attacks and 5 murders. August and July each saw 9 farm murders and both months featured over 50 farm attacks)
The governing ANC still enjoys the song: ‘Kill the boer, kill the farmer’, approved of also by bbc hero Nelson M. despite his work on ‘reconciliation’ once he attained power.
You won’t find this in SA MSM or on the Bbc.

French Muslims, stigmatized by attacks, feel under pressure

PARIS (AP) — The pressure rises with each gruesome attack. After three in five weeks, France’s Muslims are feeling squeezed. A spotlight of suspicion was trained on them again even before the latest acts of extremist violence, including two beheadings. President Emmanuel Macron has forged ahead with his effort to rid Islam in France of extremists, part of a project he labels “separatism,” a term that makes Muslims wince.

    https://www.mail.com/int/news/europe/10290836-french-muslims-stigmatized-attacks-feel-under-pres.html#.1258-stage-hero1-1

The author of this lengthy piece of garbage obviously believes that the French people who lost their heads and lives were asking for it and got what they deserved.

The article, complete with a large photo of a burning tricolour is from a US website that I believe its owned and operated by Microsoft.

What the hell is wrong with these people, Have they become so infested with Muslim employees that they can no longer tell the truth for fear of being labelled racist?

How many more must be butchered in silence?

The medieval barbarians aren’t just attacking French people, they are attacking Christianity.

digg- Microsoft and ‘big tech’ are in the forefront of the propaganda campaign against Christianity. This may not be their explicit objective, but it’s about where they stand politically.
But it may be connected to a more general war against ‘Western Civilisation’; this -in large part- is a war against whites, who mainly represent this civilisation. So you can see the link to my earlier comment about the war against whites in SA. In France, as in SA, brutality is part of the picture. This is to instil fear. You don’t want to know some of the tortures inflicted on farmers in SA before they are finally murdered. Beheadings in churches? No problem.
Of course, we must beware of generalising. But we must also beware of not wanting to confront certain issues. Of being scared into submission.
This is why, despite many reservations about President Trump, he has my support. He knows where the enemy is, and he’s not afraid to call them out and harangue them.
With the ‘Western’ MSM (which one would have hoped be supportive of ‘Western civilisation’) undermining Christianity, whites, and ‘Western’ values as a matter of course, it is now rare to find anyone taking a stand.
There is a war in progress, partly for ‘hearts and minds’.

Shame there seems to be no-one interested in genuinely holding the government to account and raising questions….the BBC play acts and goes through the motions, in a very reluctant and limited way of allowing some critics of lockdown on…but only to treat them with pretty near contempt whilst the lockdown lobbyists get a warm and uncritical welcome with the BBC presenters only question being ‘when will we get a national lockdown…or a more severe lockdown?’ The whole drift of the BBC narrative is supportive of a lockdown and highly criticial of those who oppose it and of the countries that don’t….such as Sweden and Japan who are doing very nicely at the moment thanks.

Must admit I hadn’t come across the term “Lawfare” before. Apparently a combination of ‘law’ and ‘warfare’.
Kamala Harris is an expert in this version of the ‘black arts’, according to ‘compact-online’. It analyses the would-be ‘shadow President’ and her ruthless pursuit of making a name for herself, which apparently began with the 14 billion dollar lawsuit against VW, with a big part of the ‘winnings’ going to her state.
The article refers to her as ‘Kamarilla’, presumably a combination of her name and the term ‘guerilla’. I agree entirely with its assessment that, if ‘sleepy Joe’ makes it to the White House, the real power will lie with Kamala and the ‘radical Left’.
Will Americans see the danger, I wonder? Or have the Antifa/BLM crowd already so infiltrated and undermined US institutions that they see only the chance to vote Trump out?
‘compact-online’ also had a little backgrounder on Antifa, and its roots in the Communist movement of Germany in the 1930s, where it was the ‘Antifaschistische Aktion’.

Question…if lockdowns work how is it that deaths from flu and pneumonia didn’t go down at all as a result? Deaths from flu and pneumonia have been consistently, since January, 500 or so less than the 5 year average this year….and that didn’t change when lockdowns were introduced. Flu and pneumonia are killing more people now than C19…and C19 is killing at least 10 times fewer than it did in April…whilst cases rise enormously.

    Note also this…

‘ Because pneumonia may be a consequence of COVID-19, deaths where both were mentioned have been counted only in the COVID-19 category.’

As have of course deaths due to car crashes, falling off ladders and falling head first into a mincing machine…all died ‘with’ covid 19….thus are ‘due to’ covid 19.

Good ! All Brits thought, but we are still being forced to pay the telly tax while Al Beeb is more biased than ever.
We have more cases of illegal invaders being escorted by the Border Farce form France despite our Home Secretary’s promises.
Knife stabbings have gone up. We have a trashed economy , we have Global Extinction , BLM and Antifa being treated with kid gloves, we have Churchill’s statue being defaced along with all the other statues in the UK suffering the same damage. We have our history being re-written to airbrush out any positive aspects of our proud British Empire. We have the gradual erosion of freedom of speech.
We even have Unconscious Bias courses being forced upon the nation with out any government discussion . We are still haggling for a trade deal with The EU despite BoJo saying the talks were over in mid October.
A Tory Government ? I think not. What on earth has gone wrong with Boris and the Tory Party ?

I look at The Brexit Party website and read “We Are Ready”.
Well we are waiting and so is the nation for we are behind you ……………………………

I suspect that when DJT is re elected in the US with a huge majority he will not squander the voters wishes, hopes and aspirations as Boris had done. He’s no Churchill and, frankly cannot in any way be objectively likened to the man.

In the 20 mins preceding he seems to be just standing talking to Hatun Tash.
I can’t be sure cos the whole video is 3 hours long

Video moment of snatch about 2h24mins

    “check 2hr.25min 30 sec…..
Complete set up. Watch the police circle tommy Robinson then it seemed police stitched him up , infact you hear a guys voice say that out loud in all the carry on, perhaps even placed something on him”

He says ” Why am I being arrested ? I haven’t done anything wrong”
        There is no answer

Then TR screeches “you are breaking my arm, I am not resisting”
30 seconds after that he does look like his feet are walking backwards as they are pushing him forwards
looking like resisting, but could be him trying to avoid being moved forward whilst they are holding his arms back.

The Stasi arrested Tommy because this totalitarian state that now rules over us does not tolerate any opposition and certainly not someone brave and charismatic that we could coalesce around.

You only need to look at the woke chump we have as an “official” opposition leader and the equally woke chump that is PM all bleating pretty much the same deceitful bilge to realise that the political class/establishment will never allow any serious opposition to form in this country. Maybe through some sort of serious civil unrest but the willingness of so many people in this land to buy into mask compliance has shown the regime that we now seem to lack the spine to stand up to these globalist crazies that now hold power. So instead we have to listen a selection nonentities all spouting the same rubbish as if this is actually real debate when in fact all of our “parties” now sing from the same globalist hymn sheet

They are now very close to achieving complete subjugation of the population. When this happens Tommy will be killed not directly by the establishment of course but probably by one of the new doctors or engineers that will be informed of where he is and on that day and in that location i expect the police will be a long time in coming.

A brave Englishman and probably one of the last few left.

And then the bastards will come for us.

No – if Biden wins on Wednesday we will never hear the end of the trolls here – if Biden loses we won’t be hearing from them for a long time .
It’s nice to hear a non cut and paste contrary view here once in a while – if only for the writer to be shown to be plain wrong …
I think sometimes that it one of the reasons one doesn’t hear a detailed defence of the BBC – it is indefensible – and every day more and more people realise it .

The saddest thing is that the ‘auntie ‘ image was / is so powerful that it is still held in some affection from the less attentive of people – including those overseas who see it frozen in 1940 ….

      • Laughing at Lefty Trolls says:

If you look at the comments on most Breitbart articles, they’re not even questioning whether Trump will win but by what margin. I worry that they’re being overconfident, but at the same time they’re also hammering in how important it is to get out and vote – and, specificially, to vote in person. At the same time, there’s dozens of new troll accounts being created every hour posting one or two lines of gaslighting about how stupid Trump voters are for thinking they have a chance, which is a very poor attempt to suppress the vote by making it appear futile.

This really shows the fundamental difference between libertarians and liberals. Libertarians, be they Republicans or Brexiteers or whatever, are confident of success because they’re on the ground fighting for it. They’re actually analysing what’s happening and working towards achieving their goal. Liberals, Democrats/Remainers/whatever, believe they have a default right to whatever their aim is and don’t have to accomplish anything, because big brother will provide it for them. However, in their efforts to talk down the right, they almost always show their need for validation as well as their lack of any actual arguments to support their position, making them appear desperate for approval. This is another symptom of their reliance on the state, and another reason to be extremely hopeful – and confident – that Trump is in fact going to win pretty comfortably.

Just makes my blood boil !!!!

Now a woman BAME presenting the news giving more fear about a longer lockdown.

Joe Biden is preparing to cast aside Donald Trump’s emphasis on the “special relationship” if he wins the US election, The Sunday Telegraph can disclose, as advisers to the presidential hopeful revealed that he plans to focus on rebuilding America’s relations with the European Union.

Anthony Gardner, a former US ambassador to the EU who chairs Mr Biden’s working group on the bloc, suggested that the relationship between the UK and America under a Biden presidency would partly depend on the ties Britain decides to form with the EU.

Mr Gardner, who is based in London and is being touted as Mr Biden’s possible choice for US ambassador to the UK, described Brexit as “the biggest own-goal that I’ve seen in my lifetime” and separately suggested that a Biden White House would be uninterested in “super ambitious trade deals”.

Good job Biden isn’t going to win then.
