“Top 10 tips for diversifying your workplace”
Al Beeb at its ‘divisive’ and ‘Orwellian’ best ?

    • Foscari says:

This obsession has no bounds. Can you just imagine
a meeting of the diversity dept? The planning
for all the virtue signalling. The “correct” doctors
to get on the breakfast programme on TV. The
“correct” pictures for main internet pages.
The embedded anarchist Marxists at the BBC have
now come completely out of the woodwork at the BBC.
They are in complete control of the BBC ,and they know it.Our national broadcaster has become an
enemy of the state. What an oxymoron. And we have to
      pay for the privilege !

      • Fedup2 says:

Fos – even the simplest meetings must be a nightmare – seating arrangement – access for the deaf blind dumb chair bound phobic – various colours religions genders orientations -and their dogs – interpreters – signers – Prayer capability – time of day ….

        …yet alone the ‘snacks ‘

Yet alone permissible and ‘non exclusionary ‘ language making an average b.s bingo affair look like a whirlwind of fast time decision making .

    • Guest Who says:

      Is redistributing unique funding one?

  2. Fedup2 says:

Up2 – it will be -play the BBC headline game –

“Government failed to prepare for spike – thousands die “

“Government destroyed economy by preparing for non existent second spike “

    • Up2snuff says:

Sure will, Fed. Yet this morning on TOADY they wee critical of another broadcaster ……

      • G says:

Not having watched a, “Live Broadcast” on tv for about four years, my recollection of RT is that it is more accurate and down to earth than anything on BBC. The BBC’s manipulation and massage of news items is no longer subtle if R4 is anything to go by. Its duplicity is now blatant and I would submit, not easily duplicated by any other broadcaster Worldwide who even comes close to its modus operandi. This includes any old Soviet style of broadcasting. Only given a choice between RT and BBC? No hesitation in saying, ‘RT’. Libour has just complained to OFCOM about RT and I look forward to their very likely clean bill of health. Conversely, its a pity OFCOM is itself, biased in favour of the BBC. Makes a mockery of that so-called, “Regulator”.

        • Oldspeaker says:

RT by no means perfect but infinitely preferable to bbc and its perpetual meddling in foreign elections via constantly maligning a certain president.

          • Up2snuff says:

G and Oldspeaker, I can’t really state any opinion on RT. Folk here recommended it and during one of the moments of peak BBC disinformation on the Syrian Civil War, I think I listened on-line to the radio version of RT once and watched a video of RT on UChoobie. That’s about it. It didn’t become habit forming like the BBC of old.

PS: Sorry about the typo – wee should have been were.

  3. taffman says:

Before I knock off , I have come to the conclusion that every Tory MP in the Kingdom is aware of Al Beeb’s blatant bias and of the general public’s opinion and perception of the broadcasting ‘outfit’.
Yet I find it amazing that they, the politicians with such a parliamentary majority , do nothing about it ?
    Anyone ?

    • The WestWyvern says:

Its because they are either not Tory or just puppets of a bigger controlling cabal..

For example, don’t be fooled by the tough talk on Europe, I am assured that Boris will ride to the ‘rescue’ at the 11th hour.

He will stich us into a ‘great deal for the UK and EU’ proudly proclaim from the rooftops about how wonderful it all is.

The analysis will, sadly reveal something far different and our betrayal by the political class will be complete.

Of course I am still hopeful that this will NOT be the case, but you only have to look at their inaction and mithering over:

      BLM racists
      Knife crime
      Illegal boat terrorists
      Mixed message over COVID
      Paralysis regarding the BIASED BBC and MSM generally;

      …..to know the outcome.

  4. Foscari says:

I don’t know if anybody has pointed this out . The BBC’S web pages
has what I can only describe as a Monty Python or Not the 9 O’Clock feature on the Chinese Epidemic. There is a QUIZ in
which you get two attempts to name two of six countries with
the most virus deaths!! Yes you couldn’t make this up , but it’s true.
In a way it reminded me of the Rowan Atkinson sketch on Not
the 9 O’ Clock news, when a hospital bed was being auctioned.
“Going ,going gone to the man with deep depression. Wait, he
has just jumped out of the window, so we will start again.”
Just look at this quiz “feature” on the website. I don’t know
if your going to laugh or cry. The BBC enemy of the state.

    • Broadcasting-on-Behalf-of-the-Caliphate says:

Although I don’t have time to check the quizzes the BBC puts on their children’s channel, the very few headlined quizzes I have checked revealed them to be another method of brainwashing British kids to the BBC agenda.

  5. Broadcasting-on-Behalf-of-the-Caliphate says:

A quick perusal of the BBC website and one news story dominates everything:
    Taylor Swifts new album
    Taylor Swifts new album
    Taylor Swifts new album
    Taylor Swifts new album
    Taylor Swifts new album
    Taylor Swifts new album
    Taylor Swifts new album
    Taylor Swifts new album
    Taylor Swifts new album
    Taylor Swifts new album

The BBC have TWO separate headline stories on it on their homepage.
It is also a “featured story” which means it appears in the margin of EVERY single BBC news report you read.
It is also a top story in the BBC children’s news channel.

Meanwhile news of the shooting of three people in London yesterday (one man critically injured and two boys seriously injured) is well on its way to disappearing in terms of visibility from the BBC website.

    • Guest Who says:

Is she ‘BBC Sound’ on Trump by chance?

Or just a peroxide pin up for BS and VD?

    • BRISSLES says:

      WHO ???

    • Broadcasting-on-Behalf-of-the-Caliphate says:

I was in the process of creating a Taylor Swift montage of headlines and as I was doing this the BBC were constantly changing the Taylor Swift headline to make it more appealing.

Meanwhile news of the triple shooting has completely dropped out of the BBC main website (only now find under regional news). Since the BBC originally published their report 18 hours ago it has remained unchanged and forgotten.

Compare that with the team working on promoting Taylor Swifts new album:

  6. Fedup2 says:

Caliphate – yeah yeah enough about the shot black kids – i bloody love Taylor swift – is his album any good – ? I’m just off to the record shop

  7. digg says:

Much time this morning given over by the BBC to the huge new Mosque opening in Istanbul, needless to say jammed packed shoulder to shoulder (or face to bum) with devotees. The reporters in awe and reverence with hushed admiring tones.

Apart from now expecting a spike in infections in Turkey the BBC total adoration is a bit like watching chickens admiring Christmas decorations.

  8. theisland says:

Our politicians are unable or unwilling to:
recognise or admit that we are at war,
accurately identify who the enemies (plural) are.

There are undoubtedly all sorts of psychological or venal reasons for this, but none are justified.

  9. StewGreen says:

The BBC is full of “Woke-Anchors”
: Maitlis, Sopel, Naga, Marr etc.

  10. StewGreen says:

    AlexB tested the Covid testing
He’s got another 6 new short vids out

    • gb123 says:

Not on topic. But “It does make you rather gag and vomit. A bit like listening to the Jeremy Vine Show.” applies to a lot of BBC output these days.

  11. Fedup2 says:

Stew – very interesting – really – I wonder if they should give Tesco Clubcard points or nectar or what ever posh people get when they send their staff to Waitrose ….as an incentive……

  12. StewGreen says:

@NadiaWhittomeMP writes in the Indy about Trans rights
We must not fetishise “debate” as though debate is itself an innocuous, neutral act.
The very act of debate in these cases is an effective rollback of assumed *equality*
and a foot in the door for doubt and hatred.

So she makes ASSUMPTIONS about the state of the world
    People challenge her
She says ‘STOP, you are not allowed to doubt me
If you doubt me , you are a hater’
.. That seems anti-EQUALITY to me

Isn’t a man wanting to dress up in women’s clothes “a fetish” ?

    • Dobyns says:

Stew, there used to be a school of thought that classified it as a mental illness rather than a “fetish”

  13. The WestWyvern says:

I don’t post so much these days as I don’t watch, logon to their Webshite or hardly listen to the Biased BBC, I feel unqualified to comment.

I did however dip into TMS for the start of the Cricket, only to listen to Agnew describing the blithering gimps ‘taking the knee’ whatever that means.

FFS. The radio went into orbit better than a SpaceX rocket.

    • Broadcasting-on-Behalf-of-the-Caliphate says:

Thanks, that is useful to know. This means “taking the knee” is being practised in a special ceremony at the beginning of all professional cricket matches involving England, all English Premier League matches, all FA cup matches, all Grand Prix races … maybe others can tell me if I am missing anything else.

It will no doubt be introduced at morning assembly in English schools and before lectures in universities etc.

      • JamesArthur says:

I think cricket and football would be much more interesting if they played it whilst still on their knees..whilst those that didn’t agree with BLM could use their legs….

  14. Dobyns says:

There’s no problem any liberal, especially the UN, has met that can’t be solved by throwing money at it.

Anyone who believes that this would be “temporary” is:

    A) Deluded, and/or

    B) Ignorant when it comes to history.

    • Lefty Wright says:

Here we go again. That little word “COULD” is one of the turns of phrase that the brain washers use in the hope that the public will perceive it as meaning WOULD. Big difference.

      • Banania says:

Why always “could” and not “might”? Does it suggest that whatever-it-is is more likely to happen?

  15. StewGreen says:

TalkRadio : Nottingham Uni expert Afzal Ashraf
    “Isolate radical Islamic terrorism prisoners,
… we are getting Right wing terrorists affecting them, the groups feed off each other”
Mike Graham made the point there are hardly any “far right” terrorists.
The expert countered “it’s increasing”.. but was unable to give any stats “I haven’t had chance to look it up”
“James Goddard pleaded guilty to harassing Anna Soubry”

    .. MG came down hard
“Are you really calling him a right wing terrorist ? You have to have to be careful with your language”
Too right , it’s clear slander to cll James Goddard a terrorist
He doesn’t even accept that he harassed Soubry , rather he says they offered him a choice ‘plead guilty or else we’ll jail you’

Ashraf, ” but he is in the Commissioner of Extremism report.”
FFS It is a bit lazy to stick a label on a guy labelling him as extremist” and then do a raw number count where he is equivalent to a guy who killed 20 people .
There were right wing people who plotted to kill an MP
so they are equivalent to an Islamic terrorist who only ever want to kill one MP.
Kevin Crehan and his wife protested Islamic culture by putting bacon on a mosque doorstep, he died in jail.
Yet had a Muslim protester ever protested against a new church in an equivalent way, he would probably be not be jailed.

  16. StewGreen says:

Apparently Bolsonaro tested positive again on the 22nd
two weeks after his first positive
but photos show him driving his motorbike around the presidential estate, so he can’t be that sick.

  17. Fedup2 says:

So – barrow was a covid hotspot . Reason ? Ignoring precautions? No . Bad PPE? No

It was because it seems the hospital trust were more enthusiastic about testing than anyone else and were effective and efficient….
…….. whereas the third world areas now going onto lockdown … well is there any surprise that track and trace doesnt work in these areas if people ‘ dont exist’ – are illegals and on the mass fiddle ….

  18. StewGreen says:

Guy Ritchie gets six-month drive ban after cyclist catches him texting
.. he says it was in stationary traffic
It added 6 points to existing 9 gets Guy Ritchie banned from driving.
In the video on coming traffic has to stop for a few seconds due to the cyclist being in the wrong lane as he is alongside Ritchie talking through his window,

    • Oldspeaker says:

£666 pound fine 😂 they should have given him 33 points as well.

    • Guest Who says:

Be impressive if he was moving, around a metre from the car in front, no hands on the wheel and looking out the side window.

Even more so if the biker was performing his role whilst pedalling furiously alongside.

But he has the knees for it.

  19. Fedup2 says:

Ok all – its time for a minutes’ silence. Some clapping , some kneeling , troll baiting , virtue signaling and gas lighting ( still no idea ) as the Weekend Thread slots into place .,,,,

  20. Fedup2 says:

Im glad to see your entry is transferred to the new thread . I think we were posting at the exact same time .

At least with RT one knows what the ‘ perspective’ is and they dont pretend like the BBC does at all levels .

  21. davylars says:

    Not BBC related,
Has anyone else picked up on this?

As most of the Comments posted to Yahoo news, ( articles mostly from Guardian, BBC, Indy, Huff post.) As we say here. Could be going better..

    They come up with this……

Would appear to be more censorship from the MSM…
