1:30pm That actor that plays lefty shock jock Jeremy Vine did a piece
named “do you know any mask deniers ?”
    His framing tricks
    – Here’s Matt Hancock saying “masks are not proven especially in the open air not public transport”
    – but look at the change “You now must where a mask on public transport” (FFS that is different, apples to Hancock’s oranges)
    – Then Vine played a load of clips of Florida super wackos ..as if that was the counter argument
.. “these masks are a grand conspiracy from the Devil” etc.

Yes, if you scroll through the choice, there are plenty of mixed race to choose from. It seems to be the choice of advertisers lately, young mixed race girl with preferably afro hair. My BT email page has a similar image. Ad agencies know they can do this with impunity, but as we shall now see a proliferation of BAME everywhere on our screens as appeasement to BLM, and no doubt in the jobs market, surely they must ask themselves the question “am I only here because of my ability, or my skin colour?”.

If someone is up to the task they should be in the running, but in my experience in the past it could take longer for instructions to ‘sink in’ with someone from the BAME community than not. Perhaps modelling is ideal for them, as being photographed doesn’t take a lot of brain power.

BBC seem to be wetting themselves over Kanye West announcing he is to run for President.

Obviously they feel what the most powerful nation on the face of the Earth needs is a rapper rather than a hard headed, savvy businessman with a truckload of experience at it’s helm.

Also they don’t seem to have realised that if West does run he will probably split the Democrat black and younger vote and consign the party to ashes.

Its 7.43pm and I’ve girded my loins to watch BBC1 Panorama on the valid topic of the appalling lack of cancer treatment during the Coronavirus pandemic.

But we’re half way through the show and all we are getting is a steady stream of tugging at the heart strings examples of the outcomes of delayed treatment (terminal prognoses). OK, we get the drift.

What we are not getting is analysis. The decision trees of the NHS. The decision process. A few cozy interviews but other than that, nothing. The NHS cancer lead is just allowed to waffle platitudes.

Then we get an example of a personal letter to Matt Hancock FFS.
Next up, a woman who has been told her only hope is private care. Estimated cost £250k.

Needless to say, the statist, nationalised BBC just cannot bring itself to state the blindingly obvious. That the statist, nationalised NHS is not fit for purpose, that clinicians may well know a lot about medicine but cannot organise a p*** up in a brewery.

Instead, we are encouraged to clap.
    Disgusting, immoral, and unethical.

So we can look forward to soundbite programmes and lasting no longer than the current press reviews. Happy days.

I know this website is specifically about BBC bias, but I regard all the other MSM channels “news” broadcasts as being outliers for the BBC/Guardian axis. They all appear to use the same brain cell and follow the same orders.

I caught a little bit of Sky News where their scrawny, little reporter from America was fact checking Donald Trump and repeatedly lied claiming that when he was calling that BAME racing driver’s noose story a hoax, that it definitely was NOT a hoax. She said it at least twice, might have been thrice, but she was the one lying as the hoax was exposed within a couple of days. The so-called noose was the garage door pull and all the other garages had exactly the same. It was shocking and totally disgraceful, I haven’t watched much BBC news lately but I wonder if it is even as bad as Sky now.

She also said that Trump had claimed the TV ratings of that particular branch of motor racing was way down and she smugly pronounced that it is way up. I don’t know the truth of this at all but I do know the hoax was a hoax.

When it was first reported on our news I said to my wife that it sounded very unlikely and will probably be shown to be a false accusation, like Jessie Smollett, and just as quickly. I was right. We need a centre, or mildly right of centre TV broadcaster to start countering the vile lies of the left-wing liars.

We are heading into a voluntary apartheid state. Whites will be too nervous of giving offence without meaning to and will avoid contact. Not that difficult to do in fact other than necessary ones. How the BMe population will react to that is unclear.. Maybe they will not care or maybe just shrug and accept it.
The fault lies directly with the identity politics bunch and in that the BBC bears much responsibility.
It will mean white flight from the cities . The progressive turning of the cities into places where the ethnic English no longer go. The converse will apply. The shires seen as hostile to BME people.
The signs are all there. I have never taken any of my many grandchildren to London. Their parents do not go either. London is dropping out of our way of looking at our country. If anyone thinks this is healthy then they are insane . The end is partition .

Whites used to recognise that they couldn’t share a society with blacks. Whether it was the apartheid regime in South Africa or the Jim Crow laws in America, their outlook was borne out of long experience of living alongside blacks. Liberal whites despise these regimes now – while joining the white flight to the suburbs and the shires.

My uncle had lived in London (Chiswick) since 1948, but could see how things were going over 40 years ago, white families were gradually moving out of the nice postwar properties, and Asian families were moving in – directly as a result of the close proximity to Heathrow, the same applied to neighbouring boroughs Hounslow, Hayes, and Southall. So in the early 90’s he too upsticked and moved out, to Cornwall, where he felt more comfortable.

How are people embedding tweets into their comments? Do you have to have a twitter account to copy and embed tweets into comments posted here?

I would like to save someone’s retweet of a video. What I have been able to do without having an account on twitter is to screen capture an image of the the retweet and to download the actual video as an mp4 file.

Is that enough to incriminate someone if that retweet is highly damaging to their claimed reputation?

I see people are embedding tweets of videos but does all that disappear if the tweet or retweet is deleted from the original account?

Ps: I have seen some instructions in the “In Their Own Tweets” thread – so will experiment with that. However I am still interested in how best to save it to the PC for later reputational or legal challenges.

Is there a way of saving everything onto my PC in the correct format so that even if the tweet or retweet is deleted I have a copy of it, including any embedded video?

PS: I have a screen captured it and have saved the video but ideally I would like to have it saved in “tweet format” with functioning retweeted video.

      • StewGreen says:

If you posts a tweets URL it dimply embeds itself
        but change .mobile to .www

As you say if someone deletes their tweet then the embed doesn’t show up
You could repost the tweet from your own account cos you know you wouldn’t delete it.
but to make your tweet youd first have to save the images/video to your own pc and then attach them to your tweet.
        I occasionally do that.

If you see a tweet that looks too wacky
its best to screenshot it, cos the poster will probably delete it.

Is there any truth in the rumours that Boris is cutting Defence ?
I can’t find nowt on Al Beeb ?

Its just the wrong time to do it as we will need fishery protection vessels because Europe will be poaching our fish. We also need a stronger army, navy and air force now that China is throwing its weight about.

People are tying to interest the BBC in this event, but all they’re doing is removing this link from all of their ”world class” reporting outlets..

Can’t see anything on the press yet, and nothing on the BBC site of course.

“How the toxic legacy of empire still affects us”
Or, how Al Beeb hates Great Britain?
Why do so many nations (50 or more) still want to be associated with GB. – The Commonwealth of Nations. We couldn’t have been that bad could we?
There are dark forces at work moving to undermine the nation’s patriotism and blacken its identity all funded by you that pay the telly tax. It is about time that Boris showed some “Churchillian” behaviour !

    £5000 Vouchers for Insulation.
Why are we wasting money on insulation for homes when we are heading for so called global warming ? It would be more prudent to spend the money on defending the nation and its borders ? Spending on defence would create the much needed jobs we will need in the near future.

Rumours of Military cutbacks is utter madness , whats needed is a new Border Force….black uniform with perhaps a head or skull insignia and initials beginning with an S..
But seriously its always been a mistake to cast adrift the highly skilled and trained ( at our cost ) Military and many end up homeless and in Prison when they could continue to Serve and Protect this once great Country…makes sense to me .

Since when has it been necessary to filter off BAME into a special category for consumer affairs ?

    Yesterday’s Y&Y
    BAME finances
People from ethnic minorities are more likely to have suffered financial hardship because of Coronavirus.
Research for the charity Turn2Us found that 58% of BAME workers had their jobs affected.
Ethnic minorities are more likely to be employed on insecure, temporary contracts and in some of the sectors worst hit by the lockdown.
We’ll discuss this with Dr Zubaida Haque, from the race equality think-tank the Runnymede Trust.”

“The charity sector is systematically RACIST”
said the V4CE campaign boss only 2 episodes ago on Y&Y You and Yours.
      She wasn’t convincing
A lot of it seemed to be the normal stuff that we all get, but that BAME wrongly perceive as racist eg office bullying.

And a lot of the charities I know are inherently racist cos they only serve BAME
The seem to be a lit of mosque and black charities.

Is the way Children in need specifically targets £5m at non-whites itself racist ?

    Low Blood Pressure Tuesday morning ? Try the Telegraph’s headline ;

“EU willing to allow UK to break from Common Fisheries Policy“

These Remainer Journos hiding in the shadows still think the UK is a junior partner after it left their EU …… as I’ve gone behind the Telegraph paywall – £4 a month for a year – I see just how MSM biased it really is …. a slightly upmarket Guardian ….
Apparently to government is doin a ‘give away ‘ budget which really means it is going to take less money in tax for certain financial actions – such as selling properties . But the idea being floated over the weekend of ‘giving ‘ every household £500 has gone away …..hopefully .

I still can’t believe the conservatives have adopted the Comrade Corbyn Money Tree Model of racking up further huge debt ….

Another #whitesaviour…..Following up of the story of the BBC racist anti-white woman podcast and one of the racists is a very blond white woman who seems obessed by black men and who tells us [in a BBC interview…interviewer Asian of course] how terribly hard it is for Blacks to get into the media. Hmmm…er…don’t the figures actually show that Bames are vastly over-represented in broadcast? And…er…she says she couldn’t get her own idea commissioned [despite being a blond privileged white woman] so she had to set up her own Youtube channel.

Tory MPs have noticed…..will we get any real action or just sabre rattling from them?

‘BBC is at centre of racism storm over podcast where presenters called white women ‘Karens’ and said they should ‘read some books’ and ‘stop being so loud’

Several MPs have slammed the BBC on social media for its No Country For Young Women podcast….the clip attracted controversy on social media and drew the ire of several Conervative MPs.

Neil O’Brien, the MP for Harborough, Oadby & Wigston, branded the podcast ‘racist drivel’.

Agreeing with him, Mr Bradley added: ‘Absolute joke. Cancelling my TV license. I don’t need to pay for this.”

BBC : ‘Being Black, disabled and female: ‘It’s a hard place to be’

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/newsbeat-53309264/black-disabled-and-female-it-s-a-hard-place-to-be

“You get racism, sexism and ableism.”

‘Sprinter and cyclist Kadeena Cox says she’s experienced racism “in some form my entire life” Along with Great Britain team mate Kare Adenegan, she’s in what she describes as “a small niche” as a group of professional athletes dealing with a range of prejudices to get to the top of their career. The duo have been speaking to BBC Newsbeat’s Katie Smith about their time in elite sport.’

‘…. their time in elite sport’ …so, not quite so disadvantaged then. Given their promotion on the BBC platform one could almost describe them as ‘differently advantaged’ they certain occupy ‘a small niche’. Perhaps commercial advertising gigs beckon?
