Who cares about the BBC, I’ve defunded them because of their bias.
Now we need to make sure no tax payers money goes to bailing them out.
    No hidden subsidies.
    No guarantees for their pensions.

Worse. It is the ramblings of two generations of half-educated students, and their Left bamboozled teachers. I can’t call the latter “professors”, as these days professors are themselves ungrownup half-educated graduates.

    BBC: ‘…antifa – a loosely-affiliated network of mainly far-left activists.’

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-53299847

Well, it feels slightly grudging & appears way down in a report making out the ‘far right’ to be simultaniously scary and dumb… and of course links the supposed ‘far right’ to the President.

‘Rumours that anti-fascist protesters planned to burn American flags on the Gettysburg Civil War battleground site led to armed far-right groups turning up in numbers on US Independence Day.’

But at least we have some equivalence from our balanced BBC. Although quite what their fixation with every minor political stirring in another far away country is all about…?

    • The General says:

The photographs the BBC have posted show these ‘far right’ armed activists standing in an unaggressive peaceful manner to try to protect symbols of their countries history. There are no photos of and therefore we can presume no violence or disturbance.
Compare these to what the BBC report as the ‘peaceful’ gatherings of Antifa and BLM supporters assaulting the police and ordinary citizens who do not agree with their views.

The following is one of countless examples of the BBC controlling the narrative to promote a biased agenda.

    2020-07-05-1711-homepage.jpg

Note the third report along: 14 drivers take a knee before F1 season opener
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/53299085

This article was posted onto the BBC website to coincide with the first race of the Formula 1 season. It continues the BBC narrative of Black Lives Matters and Racism and the importance of white guilt. The article as well as outing those that “did not take the knee” contains an argument that strongly infers that “refusing to take the knee is supporting racism” (my paraphrasing).

Now this article rehashes elements in another BBC article posted yesterday on the BBC Sport webpages:
    2020-07-05-1601-Formula-One.jpg

Note the second report along: Drivers’ Reluctance to take the knee shows a “lack of understanding” – Hamilton
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/53294057

This article infers that anyone not taking the knee doesn’t understand racism and is supporting racism (through the silence is complicity argument).

PS: Rather than talking about the sport of Formula 1 racing the BBC in those articles are using the popularity of Formula 1 racing to push the political agenda of Black Lives Matter, the Taking the Knee movement, and White Guilt /White Shame. These politically motivated stories were specifically written and headlined on prominent parts of the BBC website.

First TV for me since the ‘lockdown’. BBC pushing ‘the new normal’. Excuse me! I will decide for myself when things are back to ‘normal’ it isn’t for the damn, far-left BBC to decide what that should be.

Poor old Tom Heap on Countryfile still pushing doom and gloom, lots of worst figures ever being chucked around. I expect we kept temperatures all over the UK in 1066 and if it was particulary hot in some remote valley a mesenger would have been despatched to ye olde met office to record the fact!

Talking of valleys, I gather recently people were getting upset about ‘black’ people reporting on Countryfile, this week a new low, Welsh people, Cerys Mathews, really! (A friendly nudge Taffman!).

What’s the betting that the BBC will do all it can to link Trump with Epstein now that the story is headline news again?

Already one documentary, needing to show a picture of Ghislaine M, chose one of her with Trump.

Trump had nothing to do with the narrative, they could have chosen any one of thousands of Maxwell alone, but of course the lefty report seized the opportunity to tar him by subliminal association.

Expect plenty more of that in the weeks leading up to the US election.

Daily Mail showed the same photo. Yet, I understand, Trump met Epstein once, but Bill Clinton travelled on Epstein’s plane about 20 times and stayed on his island. Maybe it is more relevant to link with Trump because he is in the White House and Hilary isn’t. I don’t believe it but I enjoyed typing it!

Rather there must be others sweating on Maxwell. Her life must be considered in danger now. There are those who think this could be the story of the century so far. If the rumours are even halfway true.

I was gardening this afternoon, but had my little radio with me and caught some of the BBC news. Most of it was the usual Covid drivel, “someone sneezed, mass deaths are imminent” but my ears pricked up when the sports reports came on…

The announcer seemed astonished that six drivers in the Formula 1 event refused to “take the knee.” Thank the Lord. It’s about time all of these pathetic wimps grew a pair and stayed upright. Taking the knee didn’t do those coppers any good when all those BLM thugs tore up London the other week.

He went on disapprovingly, “I supposed they had their reasons…” Blimey, he sounded really put out. Why were these people not complying? So, it would seem, according to Al Beeb, we’ve now got to explain ourselves if we don’t kneel in a public show of abject humiliation.
Well fxxx him and fxxx the BBC and fxxx BLM come to that.

The only time I’ll take the bleedin’ knee is when I’ve taken a tumble coming home from The Dog and Duck, or when I’m being knighted by her majesty.

Sir Jeff! Oh, come on, be honest.
    It’s got a ring to it…

This is extraordinary. Nobody ever should go down on one knee unless they want to and BLM has a political agenda to say the least. Race relations here have been put back a generation.
In the USA it is even worse and there looks like a real possibility of civil war .
The BBC is the creature of the so called educated middle class and is fully body snatched. ( see the film ) . It is full of children playing with forces they do not understand and have no business playing with ever. I fear now for the future as moderate voices are falling silent and the BBC and it’s fellow travellers are with the mobs.

What went wrong with the middle class? Born into the most prosperous period in human history and free of real dangers.
Are they just bored? Are they in the grip of insanity or are they just malevolent?
They are unfit to hold power and unfit to wield influence. They are a clear danger to the future of my family and my grandchildren.

Blair only bunged that lot a few cheap uni places with useless ‘degrees’ to keep them off Labour’s falsified unemployment figs anyway.

And he charged all the parents for the ‘privilege’! So there was quite a lot of lying back then, but that was a time when it became a government pastime, then a habit, now ‘de rigeur’.

The BBC began to realise that they needed to follow suit, and have never changed; they still fake stuff, they don’t realise how public dislike of their ‘practices’ is turning into fury and hate, and when they’re kicked into touch, there will be a huge sigh of relief from normal citizens.

You can thank the failed bus conductor John Major for that. In 1992 he turned all the polytechnics into “universities”, which they never were and still are not.

Polys were meant to give sound practical instruction in vocational courses, not trans studies. Universities were meant to be for the top 5%. The idea of going to “uni” with a couple of grade Ds at A Level would have been laughable.

Phoney Tony of course killed the idea of university stone dead when he made it a goal to get 50% of children to go there. Now it is a good way to party for three years and leave with a £50,000 debt.

Craig at Is the BBC biased? notes Newsnight’s Goodfornothing is still campaigning on behalf of Labour…everything he says is directed at criticising the government….here’s his latest…

He may or may not have a point but is it his job to blatantly campaign on this issue?…and it is a campaign…look through his twitter feed and it is packed with a long list of tweets of a similar nature over the course of time.

What isn’t there is any mention by him of BLM….he may ask you to check your thinking as you clap for the NHS but nowhere does he ask you to check your thinking as you take a knee for the BLM….extraordinary is it not that one of the biggest issues of recent times seems to have passed him by almost completely?

Nowhere does he suggest that as you kneel for these BLM ‘protesters’ that you remember that most black deaths are at the hands of other blacks or that so many of these Bames are only here due to racial, ethnic, religious, cultural, gender/sexual persecution in their own countries.

Britain, far from perfect no doubt, but is the safe haven for these people, one of the best places in the world for Bames…far safer than their own countries of origin.

So, remember, when you’re thinking of taking a knee[lol] to battle white racism here, that Bames lives are safer, better and more prosperous here than they ever would be in the countries they came from….and possibly the most racism they suffer here is actually, ironically, at the hands of other minorities.

Maybe that’s why Goodfornothing doesn’t mention it….the truth is all too inconvenient….and of course Starmer won’t take a knee…hmmm…any coincidence Goodfornothing avoids the subject?

    Racism !

As such with a subject like that , it’s not about how you cook racism , the nutrient value and calories in racism , where the ingredients are grown and how to store and keep racism , the best places to buy racism or eat out racism .
    Whether cooking racism with a wok or if freeze dried racism tastes better than tinned racism can’t be done on The Food Programme . What we did learn , if you didn’t know it is ;

    Racism is wrong .

Because apparently there aren’t enough BAME folk in the food industry . There are some , but not enough . The BBC says so .

The BBC likes to decide who should where and in what numbers .
    So we always get that
There aren’t enough BAME people in eg
Judges , football club managers , radio and TV shows .
But there are too many BAME people in eg
    Prison , poverty , suffering Covid 19 .
There are too many white people in eg
Institutions ( BBC anybody , hideously white ) , the countryside , judges , football club managers , old TV shows
There aren’t enough white people in eg
BLM protests , the cities ( white flight ) , acknowledging privilege , prison ( one presumes , if it all has to be equalled out ) .
The other term for the anomalies above is lack of diversity . In the case of cities , it’s vibrancy . If its not loud and its crime free , it’s not vibrant enough . And diverse and vibrant is better than anything else , including tranquility , steadiness , peace , a sense of belonging or it would seem heaven without the drugs .

More race stiring from the BBC this time a UK athlete was stopped allegedly due to racial profiling……if they get their way the police won’t be allowed to stop anyone who is BME.

The police complaints team reviewd the footage from the police car and the body cams and social media and decided that the police were in order…. but BBC take their side and that it was a racially motivated stop….BME people in a black Mercedes. So where is the footage? lets see it then we can see for ourselves and decide.
Its freighting that they take this stance and its got to stop they are undermining the Police and doing it using our money. Anyway judge for yourselves here is a bit of the report.

British sprinter Bianca Williams and her partner have accused the Metropolitan Police of racial profiling and acting violently towards them.

European and Commonwealth relay gold medallist Williams, 26, and Portuguese 400m record holder Ricardo dos Santos were stopped in a vehicle in London.

They fear they were targeted because they are black and drive a Mercedes.

Police say the vehicle had been on the wrong side of the road and the driver sped off when asked to stop.

Officers were patrolling in the Maida Vale area because of an increase in youth violence.

A police statement said: “Officers from the Directorate of Professional Standards have reviewed both footage from social media, and the body-worn video of the officers, and are satisfied that there is no concern around the officers’ conduct.”

The window seen in the vid is the driver-side door which is open, so the view is from inside the glass to outside. And so, with apologies and on one knee, naturally, it must be pointed out to those intellects involved that ‘blacked-out’ glass appears quite normal from inside a vehicle. Another annoying bit of whitey technology.

Sadly this knee bending by PL footballers continues and I’m sure that when the under 15, under 12 and under 10 junior local football restarts there will be hundreds of thousands of young boys and girls who will copy them. It will be very difficult for those who don’t want to to avoid doing so the peer group pressure will be immense for a youngster to conform. This may be a fashion trend that exists for a few months only but it will have ‘taught’ youngsters a vivid ‘history’ lesson that they won’t ever forget and prepared them to unquestioningly embrace the next phase of the destruction of their cultural heritage. A perfect example of cultural Marxism’s undermining of patriotism. Either the PL is run by Marxists or fools .

Can viral videos stop police brutality?

“They killed this man, bro. He was crying, telling them ‘I can’t breathe.'” For more than five minutes Darnella Frazier rambled on Facebook Live about the killing she had witnessed. A short time later on that night in late May, she uploaded a video of the death of George Floyd. Had it not been for that video and other footage from bystanders, it’s likely that Mr Floyd’s death would never have sparked global outrage. But does that make viral videos, shot on the phone in your hand, an effective check on police abuse?

Glad to see 6 F1 drivers deciding to show two fingers to the BLM tyranny, by remaining standing, at the start of the Austrian Grand Prix. Congratulations to them for showing guts.
This epidemic of grovelling by people who have no need to, must end swiftly. It has assumed Hitlerian proportions, where in the 30s and 40s, you had to Heil Hitler for all you were worth, cos not doing so could have nasty consequences, you now have to bend the knee cos BLM said you must.
Besides which, I will only bend the knee to God; it will take an awfully long time before you catch me doing it to any human. Does it have a satanic implications/overtones? I leave you to decide. In our secular world, no one would even think that far?
Low achievement humans would theoretically constitute a special no-no. Bend the knee for skin colour? They must be mad, as Enoch might have said. Completely and utterly mad.
What’s happening now, shows again how 100% right he was! Alas, there is now no one like him, who would tell the truth, regardless. All to busy taking the knee to do a little thinking.

There are certain circumstances where I feel I’m compelled to take the knee. Like this morning. Well, you have to tie your shoe laces.

Let’s remember this is an American import. It began with a US sportsman making a disrespecting protest to the playing of the American national anthem prior to sports matches so as to draw attention to supposed police mistreatment of blacks in the US. Quite why certain people here in the UK should feel the need to join in with this passing fashion (Sir K, I’m looking at you) is an idea somewhat beyond my understanding.

Once upon a time, before we all became proudly secular, people knew who they had to worship. Now that has been largely lost, all sorts of perverters are coming out of the woodwork to try their luck.

Has the BBC yet flagged up the discomfort of wheelchair users who may have feelings of non-inclusion, isolation and segregation making stressful those times when well-intentioned but unthinking people around them take the knee?

Could we not replace the taking the knee guesture with something more inclusive?

I’ve given this some thought. Obviously clapping is already taken by the NHS & Key Workers (and anyway this is potetially triggering and really ought to be replaced with Jazz Hands – it is 2020 afterall).

The thumbs up is out for similiar reasons to taking the knee – it’s too anti- the differently able.

So how about rapid blinking. I think this could work & I’d very much encourage Lewis Hamilton to join in and would love to see Sir K of Labour doing it – for about 5 minutes every Wednesday lunchtime – if he can manage that without getting dizzy. To show support.

One of the points which annoys me about this is what do they think that their own ancestors were doing in say 1820? Quite possibly they were working down mines , exceptionally dangerous , or working the land for a landowner who took the profits leaving them to subsist, or working in one of the new mills fifteen hours a day and eight hours for under twelves. These folks may not have been enslaved but they were living lives which we today would consider horrendous. The life expectancy in the uk was less than thirty! Do these silly girls know that? If so where on earth do they get their white privileged from?

The BBCMSN is desperate for a contemporary ‘coloured victim ‘ – preferably one Killed by a whitee who can be labelled as ‘far right ‘ – then the posters and banners and flowers and candles and legal team and protest march and sobbing ‘family ‘wanting justice ‘ can be swung into operation .

So far the BBC has been relying on vicarious victimhood in the American hood but it’s desperate for a tragedy here . So be ready for the ; ‘promising football ‘ ‘law student ‘ ‘community worker ‘ to bite the dust ….

Meanwhile the 20 year old coloured kid shot dead in Islington has been named – interesting detailing in the evening standard – nothing nice to say apart from’ gangs ‘ . A witness said they counted the shots – 9 . Another said they were ‘shocked ‘ that it was bullets – not the usual stabbing ….

I hate the way art student journos report stats

    “upto” indicate rubbish reporting
“raw deaths” is a BS metric , cos we all die
the question is how much life do we use ?

The context is that when you have 2.4 million cancer patients, delays have effects, but it looks like most of them do OK.

Almost all those awaiting treatment are not going to live another 30 years anyway
I expect that some patients may miss a treatment window that would have given them an extra 5 or 10 years of life etc.
and in the the grand scheme of things
the life days lost might be on average be a few days per each cancer patient.

Mrs.S is still alive after four cancer operations, chemo and radio therapy. Don’t underplay this issue please.

Where we probably agree is that in ‘saving the NHS’ they have sacrificed a whole load of people. The hugely over-sized Nightingale hospitals and Covid test centres (12 staff in a giant local car park with one person having a test) reveal by inference an abdication of responsibility for thousands with other ailments. We know various consultants getting paid in full to do nothing as their lists dried up to free up covid space for which they and their specialisms had little to contribute. The bottomless financial pit that is the nationalised NHS seems to have no accountability at all, while we are morally blackmailed into clapping for it.

No, you have to sit by the phone and wait for a call, and then try and describe where the red looking swelling is precisely on your foot, and whether its the size of a 10p coin or the size of a small saucer, and if it hurts when you press it slightly or with gusto etc etc etc. Now that GPs know that they can get away with mode of working, will they really go back to seeing patients again ? I fear not.

This is classic appeasement of the mob by the authorities and the agreesors will keep going , gathering more and more concessions , until they are stopped , if they are stopped that is.
