  1. Darcy3 says:

Just heard Long Bailey sacked from shadow cabinet for anti semitism

sorry Taffman just noticed your post…:-)

    • Beltane says:

Would be nice for Marxist Maxine Peake to get the sack too – but she has virtue to spare so safe enough for the foreseeable.

  2. Darcy3 says:

    Post lockdown madness

A major incident has been declared in Bournemouth after thousands of people descended on the area’s beaches as temperatures soared.

Council leaders say the numbers of people flooding the seaside in the last two days are “like those seen on a bank holiday”.

Brixton violence: Former police officer claims mainstream media is ‘inciting mayhem’

    • Jeff says:

There’s no shadow of a doubt that the media, particularly Sky and The BBC have been inciting violence.
I think it was Saturday evening on BBC2, though it could equally and easily be any other evening, they showed one programme after another depicting white Britain in a terrible light.
We had the slave trade, with (natch) no explanation that Africans began the awful business and continued with it long after Britain’s involvement.
Then we had a piece of pure propaganda…I think it was called “I’m not your negro”.
Followed by the now ubiquitous piece about Stephen Lawrence and how he’d been killed in a racist attack and how the Met police let down his family. It was an utter disgrace!

FFS, there were race riots going on the length and breadth of the country, marches, irate, inarticulate, ill educated youths attacking the police and tearing down statues and our state broadcaster decides it’s a good idea to give us an entire evening of race bating.

I understand that forty police officers were injured last night. Victims of black violence, stirred up by the typical self loathing white “liberals” who say how much they adore diversity, but tend to live in leafy suburbs.

  4. G says:

Norman Brennan retired police officer having served 30 years. This is an important item. His opinion is shared on this site.
He is of the opinion that events will “ignite” a countrywide uprising any time now which they cannot quell. I would modify his view slightly: he mentions all the routine stuff that the police deal with daily but forgot to mention their exhaustive efforts on Hate Crimes and their falling crime figures.
    Get prepared. It will happen.

It is literally a ‘Black Hole’ gravitationally drawing everything surrounding, in. Inevitable.

Sorry Pug, you posted whilst I was typing.

    • pugnazious says:

LOL…the more the merrier…I don’t get a chance to read all posts so the more there are the more likely I am to see something of interest somewhere in the comments.

  5. Guest Who says:

    A) That is not ‘analysis’

    B) That first sentence is not even English.

    C) Not enough popcorn.

  6. Darcy3 says:

ONE more black riot and I say

suspend the BBC for inciting violence

Army on the streets as police do nothing but appease and are cowards

Water cannons and get a couple of prison ships ready

    • Beltane says:

Steady on Darcy, imagine the headlines if rioting BLM’ers were all locked up on a ship….

      • john in cheshire says:

        Windrush 2.
But send it in the opposite direction. And let the Jamaica gangs deal with them, in Jamaica.

  7. Darcy3 says:

THIS IS THE DIRECT RESULT of appeasement to black thugs

by the police, the Mayor of London the govt the opposition and the bbc and msm

  8. Up2snuff says:

BBC WEB-SITE Watch #1 – Well, that didn’t last long

I see the NASCAR Noose truth has disappeared from the BBC w-s in 24 hours. That compares with several days – think it was at least four, maybe five – for the original story. Speaks volumes about the BBC, its attitude to journalistic integrity and quality & equality of coverage, etc., etc., that does.

  9. Stuart the Shrimper says:

Here we go again. Today’s UK death figures are 149.
Every day for weeks now the figure has been lower than the corresponding figures 7 days beforehand, but not a squeak of recognition from the Bellends Broadcasting Corporation.
But today they have to remind us that the 149 is a massive increase on the 137 of last Wednesday.
They did the same back in, I believe, April when we were aiming for 100,000 tests a day. One day we did 99,500 approx and the headline was “Tests fail to meet target again”.
Several days later we managed 101,000 which received the banner “Tests narrowly exceed 100,000 target”.
Why can’t they just curl up under a stone.
Oh, and apologies to any bell-ends who don’t wish to be associated with this scum.

    • Foscari says:

The figure could well include a few protesters from over two weeks

  10. Emmanuel Goldstein says:

On Parler I tried Emmanuel Goldstein as my user name but it was already used.
My other user names were also already in use (Horace Bachelor, Charlie Farley, Whitey from Blighty) so I managed to find an unused name.
If any of you go on to Parler maybe you could let us know your user names so we can follow your posts.

Our (from here) David Vance is on there using his own name.

I don’t know yet if there’s a pugnacious, Fedup (1 or 2), Brissles, Old Goat, Stew or any of the other names from our band of brothers (and sisters) on here.

  11. Up2snuff says:

TOADY Watch #2 – The BBC don’t do science any more

The whole point of the antibody testing is to monitor immunity, I would have thought. This whole Covid-19 thing is very new and everything has, to an extent, had to be learned from scratch.

The Government’s desire to test all NHS workers makes sense to me. You have a discrete group that:
    1. is constantly exposed to infection,
    2. can easily be monitored,
    3. can respond quickly to a re-infection, and,
    4. can establish if past infection provides immunity by constantly checking the ICU nurses & doctors.

Of course, on TOADY the BBC didn’t see all that and just wanted to Bash Bojo instead.

  12. G.W.F. says:

Long – Bailey sacked. Jewish community pleased.
Dunno what she said, maybe someone on Parler or whatever can inform us.

See this as Surkeer draining the swamp, preparing for an easy election victory, handed to him by the former Conservative Party .

Only one chance of keeping Labour out – a revitalised Brexit Party. Come on Nigel.

    • Foscari says:

She basically agreed that the Israeleeeeees were responsible
for George Floyd’s death. But in reality Long Bailey was sacked
because she supported the teachers trade unions in supporting
the teachers in going down to Bournemouth instead of
going back to school and teaching deprived kids for political

    • taffman says:

Labour is finished, The Limp Dems are finished while The Conservatives are really The Liberals in disguise . Why else has Al Beeb survived this far?
The only choice left is The Brexit Party with the support of UKIP. I have said this all along.

  13. Thoughtful says:

So Rebecca Wrong Daily receives a mild slap on the wrist from blandest of the bland leader Kier Starmer.

He has utterly utterly failed to root anti semitism out of his party because he hasn’t actually done anything about it, other than of course to sweep it under the carpet and pretend it isn’t there any more.

He could have removed the whip from Wrong Daily, but I think as many of us have seen by the appointments Starmer has made, his policy is just to keep quiet and hope no one notices – with of course the coneivance of the media.

Which brings me on to a second subject, that of the appallingly Nazi acting profession, who will almost certainly make sure that Maxine Peake finds future employment for her disgusting Fascist politics, whilst Lawrence Fox who made a perfectly reasonable point will almost certainly never find work again in that profession.

The country is broke – it’s time for a luvvie tax of an extra 10% on higher rate taxpayers in the creative ‘industries’ including the media.

    • Darcy3 says:

  14. digg says:

In my area, a largely peaceful Asian drug-dealer was stopped on the A38 after a 5 car police chase.

    Local News report.

He had £1500 worth of cannabis in the car.
He had £1000 in cash in the car.
He had a stun gun in the car.
He had previously beaten his partner so badly she bled internally for several hours.
He caused £41,000 of damage to the pursuing police cars trying to evade capture.
He drove the wrong way down the main A38 dual carriageway to try to evade arrest.
He was driving his girlfriends car because he was banned.

The judge gave him maximum jail of 23 months so probably 8 at most in real terms.

Nothing, nothing, nothing on the BBC

Another man flew a plane with an innocuous banner over a football pitch. Lost his job and his girlfriends job.

BBC all over it, baying for blood.

    Sickening is not the word!

…Oh! and here’s another fine “Derby” fellow..

    • Van Helsing says:

Twenty-three months is ridiculously lenient. Not knowing what the exact charges were, i can’t determine whether that was the maximum sentence permitted by the relevant statute(s) or whether that was the maximum sentence the court could impose. If it was the latter, it begs the question as to why the case was not remitted to a superior court for sentencing.

  15. Fedup2 says:

Very sad day that wrong daily has left the front bench – she had a promising career ensuring that Labour never get elected . You may recall that she voted for Corbyn as leader – most people did it as a joke but she was serious .

My only regret is that although she helped The Labour Conservatives get elected with an 80 majority they seem not to realise they could deliver proper Right wing policies as well getting us finally free of the EU.

  16. Fedup2 says:

The UK negotiator – David Frost – working to cut the cords with the EU has put up a series of tweets about the next round of ‘negotiations’ commencing on Monday for 5 days in Brussels …..
Therefore we should expect the BBC to go full on with anti brexit familiar project fear stuff – sponsored by the EU – as well as lots of stuff about the UK government being ‘unreasonable ‘….

  17. JimS says:

The BBC tells me that as a result of a petition signed by 18,000 people Unilever are to change the name of its Fair & Lovely skin cream, although it is popular throughout Asia.

I am sure we could get up a petition of more than 18,000 to remove the British from BBC as it doesn’t deserve to carry that honourable name!

    • Darcy3 says:

BBC : Bolshevik Barely Credible ?

And what is Unilver going to call it now ? add some charcoal and call it black and gobby ?

funny how Markle is suddenly FAIRER and the [email protected] black women calling for the Churchill statue to be pulled down has FAIR hair etc etc

      • Darcy3 says:

There is a programme about a pawn shop in Detroit called Hardcore Pawn, (run by a white family) someone “kicks off ” most every episode, and sometimes assaults staff, and threatens them, every episode and has to be ejected by security guards and / or police as they do not like the estimate for their goods

Worth watching to see the ethnicity of 99.9 % of these violent people

  18. NISA says:

Long Bailey reveals that Maxine Peake is a constituent of hers in Salford, home to the BBC in exile & of little other cultural renown . Peake knows that her extreme left wing views will not deter the BBC’s casting staff from regularly giving her a call (once they have signed up Stephen Rea as the male lead)

  19. Fedup2 says:

I listened to the run up to the R5dead Burnley v Watford game – the banner thing has really fired up the corporate policy of the BBC to explain that white lives do not matter – there can be no other inference …
An unbiased – non campaigning media outfit would surely just stick with ‘All lives Matter “ ( apart from unborn babies of course – from the liberal point of view ) …

… elsewhere – being in North East London at the moment I feel an expectation for the sound of police wagons making their way to Lammy Land for the annual riot ….

BBC: Brixton street party: Met Police officers injured in violence

Andrew Lawrence: Statement from the constabulary regarding last night’s musical gathering in Brixton.

    • Van Helsing says:

I do like the cut of Andrew Lawrence’s jib, but I rather suspect that the Woke (a misnomer if ever there was one) brigade will fail to appreciate his satirical videos.

  21. davylars says:

    Bloody hell.
Our Laura interviews Sirkeer about RLB’s tweet and anti-semitism in Labour.
But almost immediately the Interview turns into a party political broadcast for the Labour Party.
“ If you were prime minister, bla bla bla bla bla.. Boris isn’t a good and strong leader….. bla bla bla…

  22. StewGreen says:

Local ITV news : another 7 minute lecture on BLM
First a national package where 3 blacks were spoken to including one in India
Then a local report from Sheffield where a black American has moved to.

    The ITV BLM news page
includes a hyperbolic long story about NASCAR with no correction note

    • StewGreen says:

Seemingly cos of the BLM item the prog didn’t have time to report TODAY’S actual court news

“THREE *men* have appeared before magistrates this morning charged with the murder of Bradley Stewart Gledhill and the attempted murder of two other men in Batley.
      – Usman Karolia, 19
      – Ahmed Karolia, 23,
      – Raja Nawaz, 18
, all appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court today.

All three men were charged in relation to an alleged incident on Park Croft, Batley, at about 10.28pm on the evening of Sunday June 21 in which Mr Gledhill, 20, of Heckmondwike, was stabbed during fighting on the street”

Two other males also suffered serious but not life threatening injuries in the incident.

A youth 17 is still being held on suspicion of murder and attempted murder in relation to the enquiry.”

  23. digg says:

BBC R4 presenter questioning someone who’s name escaped me over the Rebecca LB firing.

The guest made it clear from the start that the reason for the sacking was totally justified on anti-semitism grounds alone and that it was deplorable to try to tie the Death of a man in the USA to a connection to Police training tactics possibly gained from Israelis for political ends.

Our interviewer however was having none of that. He went on..

Interviewer: “but don’t you agree RLB didn’t endorse the entire tweet she “inadvertanly” re-tweeted.”

Guest: “No it was anti-semitic and she refused to retract it, that’s why she had to go.”

Interviewer: “Do you agree that this sacking represents the beginning of a rout of left wing members of the labour Party”

Guest; “No it was anti-semitic and she refused to retract it, that’s why she had to go.”

Interviewer: “So no suggestion of a move to oust her because of her left-wing views?”

Guest: “No it was anti-semitic and she refused to retract it, that’s why she had to go.”

The Beeboid just couldn’t understand how to deal with that and gave up, so that’s certainly the way to handle them.

      Champion Ash is miffed.

      • StewGreen says:

She wasn’t sacked cos she tweeted, the article where the line was buried.
Rather she REFUSED to delete the tweet.

      • Guest Who says:

        DEVELOPING, as they say.

  24. vlad says:

Police officers had to flee the ‘street party’ mob in S London.

(In Brixton, so we know who was involved.)

Having set a precedent of fleeing during the BLM riots, the police will find it hard to claw back respect, and the savages now know they’re practically immune from the law.

The BBC helpfully explain that it’s everyone’s fault except the savages’:

    – Community activist Michelle Killington said she “doesn’t agree” with what happened but said the clash shows local children need more support.

    – “We have no space in Angell Town to actually work on young people and help organise events in a safe way.”

    – “The whole thing should have been shut down earlier”

    – young people told me there is “no relationship” with the police and the community officers they knew don’t come around anymore.

    – I met a mum who said she’s been campaigning for a new youth centre. “The kids don’t have anywhere to go”, she said.

    • Darcy3 says:

like most villages in th UK where they dont attack the police riot and smash things up

    • Luton Reject says:

Tellingly, the word “black” doesn’t appear anywhere in the BBC article. Why so reticent BBC? This is the same BBC that obsessively bombards us with black stories daily. Of course, in BBC land blacks can only be victims. They can never be offenders.

      • Oldspeaker says:

Black doesn’t appear much in another aspect of the bbc.

They talk a good equality diverse talk, not a lot of diversity here. Don’t know about higher paid management but I could hazard a guess. So not much diversity as regards pay, zero diversity regarding political stance but happy to lecture the rest of us about racism. Don’t say anything but they could be a bunch of racists.

        • JimS says:

It would be interesting to know who pays for the TV licence, is there ‘gender’, age, education, racial, ethnic, religious, economic and geographic ‘equality’?

There is bound to be at least one factor that doesn’t match its ‘proper’ proportion.

We should be told! Hold power to account!

    • BRISSLES says:

“the kids don’t have anywhere to go” ???? scuse me love, but since world war 2 ‘the kids have NEVER had anywhere to go”. So skiffle groups were formed, bands were formed, coffee bars suddenly filled up, we played sport, we worked all week ready to dress up for the Saturday night dance etc etc what we didn’t do was annoy the neighbours, belonged to knife carrying gangs, or get pregnant for something to do !

  28. fakenewswatcher says:

Darcy – this silent majority will remain silent. Only a guess. If they do start up, beeb and most other media will quickly rush in to squash them.
The silent majority will remain good boys and girls, who eat up all their porridge, pay their licence fees, and tolerate a ‘conservative’ government -cos that’s what it calls itself.
    Seething? If only.

    • Lefty Wright says:

I’m certainly silent but whether I’m one of a majority I have no idea. However, between you and me, have you any idea were I might purchase an offensive weapon because – well- with all the invaders getting a free pass you never know when it may be necessary to protect Mrs Wright and myself using the threat of some cold steel? Apparently, the fuzzie wuzzies don’t like it up ’em.

      • G says:

I could answer that question but not here. If there were another communication medium, I would. Not that the item I would suggest is in any way not legal.

Cannot rely on the police anymore

Yesterday there were 3 terrorist like events

Nope, they were put in the “report once, then move on” category
..The characteristic is “man” and that there are few other details

  31. Thoughtful says:

This scurrulous article from the ‘Morning Star’ might well be the source for Maxine Peake and Wrong Dailys allegations of Israeli training, which appears to offer no credible source to authenticate their fake news.

There are other US stories making allegations that the arrest appears similar to techniques used by Israeli Police it appears the anti Semite Nazi’s of the left in Britain have taken this story and added something to it themselves.

  32. StewGreen says:

    Toby Young

    • Up2snuff says:

I don’t recognise the BBC that Toby Young is talking about there. I think Toby Young has got it completely back to front. The BBC should have been supportive of the Government in protecting the UK population but instead has been completely hostile to HMG.

They (the BBC) have constantly only produced waves of negativity.

      • Fedup2 says:

I don’t know what Mr Young has been watching but it’s not the same thing I’ve seen and heard … perhaps Mr Young is trying to join the JHB types becoming full on bubble members ….
Sad that he is so out of touch but he makes a living out of it ….I wonder what the fee is for doing that phone in ….

      • G says:

Agreed 100%. I could not believe what I was hearing. Off button in fact.

  33. StewGreen says:

Kevin Hurley, former Detective Chief Superintendent says the combination of hot weather, “the inflammatory powder-keg stuff with Black Lives Matter” and a “completely false narrative” portrayed by the mainstream media, led to last night’s incidents in Brixton where a number of police officers were injured.

He says police officers adjust their behaviour to the population they are policing, telling Dan Wootton
that whenever black people are stopped and searched, “you immediately get pushback, attitude and hostility”. Mr Hurley added that police officers therefore have to take a very “assertive position” to control the situation “because you don’t want to get injured”.

The former police officer said police chiefs needs to speak up about the real need for societal change
“and help and support black people to get their place in society.”

  34. jakita says:

Is it just me or has anyone else found the coverage of the Bournemouth beach crowds pretty amusing, and typical BBC / MSM drivel.
There were riots in Brixton last night and BLM anarchy recently all over the Western world, but what should the BBC focus on, the sunbathers at Bournemouth beach. Apparently it was a “major incident” which “overwhelmed emergency services”.
How the hell did it overwhelm emergency services, surely not everyone got badly sunburnt!
Personally, I don’t blame people for wanting a trip to the beach after the last few months, especially as BLM protestors get free rein to ignore social distancing. I expect the sunlight has done wonders for their Vitamin D and immune system!
In any case I wouldn’t take the pictures at face value, the right camera lens can distort an image considerably and make people appear closer together than they really are. I wouldn’t trust the MSM photographers any more than the rest of them!

    • StewGreen says:

Yes, how did it overwhelm the Bournemouth LibDem council planning ?

      • Scroblene says:

The Bournemouth International Centre sometimes accommodates the various political parties for their shag-fests, and it was there that fatso prescott had a chauffeur to take him and his mrs about a hundred yards to the place for more shagging/gobbing.

So a few hundred more citizens went there eh?

No more than a load of useless political shaggers, and their shags…

  36. Fedup2 says:

Large number of people go to the beach . Plod panics and calls a ‘ major incident ‘ but large numbers of people go into London with a good few looking for trouble … and they run away ….. perhaps the marxists are in the police taking the ‘ consent’ away ….

Equality ? Fairness? Common sense? Forget it .

  40. Darcy3 says:

Prof Gopal was temporarily suspended from Twitter under its ‘hateful content policy’ after the social media platform upheld several complaints made against her.

The ban has since been lifted. ???????

A petition to ‘Fire Cambridge Professor for Racism’ has garnered more than 13,000 signatures over the last 24 hours.

The organiser of the petition, Renee Myers, who is from the US, said on the page: “Allowing Ms Gopal to continue lecturing at Cambridge sets a precedent that this behavior [sic] is acceptable and welcome amongst teaching faculty. Racism cannot be tolerated.”

    • StewGreen says:

      bans lifted
Yes, the typical antifa trick is to hit REPORT next to all your tweets, and make malicious complaints
This triggers moderation from AI or somebody in the Philippines/India who not being a native British speaker will err on side of accepting the fake complaint.

Looks like this time people tried this on her.
But being a metroliberal she can get actual management to take a second look and reverse the decision
BTW check the new undercover footage from Project Veritas of Facebook moderator’s saying they deliberately rule maliciously against Trump supporters.

BBCnews did title a video ‘Black lives matter, white lives matter’
    ; says Talib Kweli
… But you see that was in the time of Obama in 2014.

    1m00s Talib Kweli
"it's a shame that we have to actually say something as simple and basic
as that *black lives matter, white lives matter*
    .. Everybody's lives matter
but your white parents are not watching their children be shot down by the police in the street"

    The situation in 2020 UK
#1 The attitude of youths to the police matters
… that hostility from youths is reflected by the police
.. whereas friendly public have an easy relationship mostly
#2 That police/media & establishment do demonstrate inverted racism
in the way they run from certain categories of crime : gypsy crime, illegal immigrant crime & crimes like grooming gang crime perpetrated against working class whites.

“Be prepared for depictions of slavery, that may offend some viewers, as we continue Building Britain’s Canals”

… that means the journey will be through Bristol.

Funny old thing isn’t it – an RAF aircraft has a make over to make it more ‘british ‘ but all the MSM wants to do is to rubbish it and pray for it to break . I bet they’d celebrate if it crashed …. but it would sell a few more papers and increase BBC viewing figures ….

So police get a kicking in Brixton…and the BBC pump out on the same day more anti-police, all police are racist, rhetoric….the type of stuff which leds to attacks on police.

Man paralysed in Taser fall says race made him a target

Here’s the sob story’s best bits…..note that ‘He believes…’ So a whole report based on the racist spin of a black criminal…..

‘A 24-year-old man who was paralysed after being Tasered by police last month has told the BBC he believes he was targeted because he is black.

Jordan Walker-Brown fell from a wall while being pursued by two officers.
“I ran from the police because I had a small amount of cannabis in my possession for personal use – and I had fresh in my mind the memory of a similar encounter with TSG [Territorial Support Group] officers only the previous day when I was mistreated, arrested and charged for possession of a similar amount of cannabis.”
He said he believed he was targeted by police because he is black.

“I know that I would not have been the subject of police attention, on either day, if I had not been a young black man,” he added in the statement.

“And I know, from my own personal experience as a young black man, that I always have to be very fearful of being alone with police officers in a police van: that is an experience to be avoided if at all possible for the sake of my own safety, as most black men know from their encounters with the police.” ‘

Oh…and by way of, erm, context…..

‘Jordan Walker-Brown has previously served time in prison.’

Really? What for…a little bit of weed found in his possession?

    Hmmm…not really….2014….

A young man from Bexley is one of six people charged with false imprisonment after an investigation by the Met Police’s trafficking and kidnap unit.

Seventeen people have been arrested as part of the investigation, which took place in London and Luton.

Damilola Oiejobi, 21, of Aspen Green, Erith, has been charged along with Jordan Walker-Brown, 18, of Gospatrick Road, Tottenham…..’

    2017….sentenced to three years…

‘Police Op foils drug supply gang

An organised crime network who flooded Cornish towns with Class A drugs transported from London have been jailed for a total of 44 years and five months (of this three years and two months is suspended).

The gang from North London made numerous trips to Cornwall between 1 September 2015 and 19 October 2016, bringing significant amounts of crack cocaine and heroin…..The rest of the gang was made up of his right-hand man Pouria Najafpour, 23, of Islington, Dwaine Hall, 23, of Tottenham, Ahmed Abdalla, 20, also of Tottenham, Anntoin Richards, 22 of Enfield, Remone Walker, 23, of Tottenham, and Jordan Walker-Brown, 20, of Tottenham, who had all previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.’

So….kidnap and trafficking…and supplying class A drugs. Good lad…enterprising and providing a valuable service to the community [probably media types needing cheap labour and quality drugs]…I’ve literally got no idea why the coppers would take any interest in this paragon of virtue…is it coz he’s black?

  46. Roland Deschain says:

Did anyone catch the party political broadcast on behalf of BLM during this evening’s news at 10? It was quite breathtakingly one-sided, even claiming the marches were largely peaceful.

Guess all these statues just fell over all by themselves.

    • pugnazious says:

These people are terrorists…just like Extinction Rebellion, and the BBC is giving them both priceless coverage and legitimacy….this is from the US but remember last week the Today programme and 5Live had the founder of BLM on and she stated that rioting and violence were necessary…not a word of condemnation from the presenters.[BLM founded after Michael Brown punched a police officer[breaking his eye socket], tried to take his gun and then charged at him…thus got himself shot…not really a case of ‘unarmed, largely peaceful black youth executed by police’ is it?]

      • G says:

Apart from a few, a very few, blacks cannot be left in charge of anything. Blacks form the largest group of, ‘missing’ parents so, if that very basic responsibility eludes most of them, who would put a black in a position of control/power? Ultimately, simply look at Africa.

  47. StewGreen says:

“White working class lives DON’T matter”
… is a fundamental part of BBC culture.

The black drug dealer who got paralysed
.. was allowed to explain his case in a BBC article
    .. a white working class wouldn’t be.

  48. Fedup2 says:

I’ll never buy a newspaper – but viewing the coverage of people going to the beach makes me think the papers just want the containment to go on and on.

Are there signs of an increase in people reporting covid infection ? Will there be in 10 days from now as people go out and to the beach ? That will be about the 3rd of July … just before the next stage of normality returning …

…. the BBCMSM is praying for more covid victims . It wants people to die so that the government – which invented the Chinese virus – can be blamed . I realise the insanity of what I’m writing – but I sincerely believe the political drive of the BBC outweighs any real concern it has about the life of individuals – other than those it places on a pedestal – you know who they are …

    • Up2snuff says:

Yeah, Fed, if enough people go to the seaside and buy fish & chips, the chippies may run out of white bags and wrap paper and have to resort to buying newspapers to put the customers food in. Plus, a sun shade, if too hot, can be made out of a newspaper and here’s one that Blue Peter made earlier.

(FT reports on paper thin profits [geddit? ho – ho] in the newspaper industry today.)

  49. JimS says:

If you were working for a local authority or the civil service you might expect to have some restrictions on political activity in your conditions of employment as that could conflict with the requirement to carry out impartially the wishes of the elected authority.

Similarly a company engaged in the communications business might put restrictions on its employees use of social media as that might conflict with the desire of the company to appear to be impartial.

Strange then that the ‘Burnley Two’, working for companies that no-one has heard of and consequently highly unlikely to have political activity or use of social media in their conditions of employment, should find themselves dismissed, allegedly, for their political or social media activities.

Strange also that those working for the BBC, where there are restrictions on political and social media but which don’t seem to be policed, aren’t supportive of the ‘Burnley Two’.

First they came for the ‘Burnley Two’ but we didn’t come from Burnley.
Then they came for us but there was no-one left that cared.
