Do you notice the BBC has obsessions ? One obsession is Dominic Cummings . Now it is about ‘ largely peaceful ‘ protests on behalf of a criminal who was killed by american police .
‘Largely peaceful ‘ -by the way – In BBC speak -now means 27 london coppers injured and some hospitalised …. It’s lucky none are ‘largely dead’.

The media seem to like the word largely. The protests are “largely peaceful”. I remember James Clapper, Obama’s head of National Intelligence, telling us the Muslim Brotherhood was “largely secular”. Not a peep or attempt to question this. The same is happening now except they are promoting misrepresentations as well as not questioning something that is smacking them in the face (figuratively).

Or just use the bad line/cut off trick as the BBC did on 5live one night.
England had played Estonia at football and as usual the BBC were wetting themselves as there had been some ‘alleged racial abuse.’
On the line we have a black player who plays in the Estonian league “you must have suffered from lots of racism playing in Estonia”” Err no!” Some strange noise on the line then “we seemed to have lost Mr Black player we’ll try and get him back.”
        He did not come back!
I bet the guest booker for that show got a severe dressing down for that.

Indeed. But it is not in the UK or USA. It is in places such as Nigeria with Boko Haram. In the recent past we have Rwanda where far more black people were killed than Colston managed. Many murdered under brutal dictators who are still enriching themselves at the expense of their own people. Anyone remember Idi Amin?
I don’t recall much BBC outrage and continuous talking head outcry about any of this. Nothing to PC virtue signal about, I presume.

It’s selective racism time at the BBC.

On Toady this morning we heard a complaint about the racism in Sport, in that …….there are no black swimmers in the British team !!!! FFS. Strangely the % of black members of the athletics team or premier league footballers was not mentioned.

Toady then presents a trailer for a programme on Radio 4 tomorrow. It’s a programme called ‘A Good Read’ and will feature……wait for it……the Black Girls Book Club!!!

Somehow I suspect the White Girls book club may not get as sympathetic a coverage from the anti-white Black Broadcasting Corporation.

Exactly . But it’s not just the BBC it is also the police, the political and educational establishments , the liberal Globalists and the rest of the MSM. They embarked on their highly risky experiment to socially engineer society by importing large numbers of ethnically different people into a Western society. History ought to have told them that this was risky and that the tensions created by similar movements of people lasted not generations but for centuries. But without consulting the native population they went ahead. Now they are trying by every means possible to force or dupe the native population that it is a good thing or at least a just thing to have done. Young people are brain washed into diminishing their own life chances in order to provide ‘justice ‘ for others. The police are used to enforce the law vigorously against any natives who protest and the justice system and MSM discriminates against them . This is in complete contrast to how those institutions treat the imported ethnic minorities who are accorded many benefits. How long the elite can keep pulling the wool over the eyes of the native population is a question that probably keeps them awake at night.

Once again, for me at least, it’s the very disturbing lack of any action from the authorities that I find so chilling.
I don’t expect anything much from the sort of permanently aggrieved ultra anarchistic white, middle class scum and black feral morons who attend these events.
They’re just intent on mayhem and destruction.
And they’re encouraged and goaded by the hypnotic mantra constantly being played by the media.

But for the police to stand idly by when the Cenotaph or Churchill’s statue are smothered in graffiti…
Or when the statue in Bristol is taken down and thrown into a river…
The police stood and looked on! They were little more than spectators.
What on Earth are they doing there?

I wonder, If we organised an anti Antifa demonstration in London and I turned up in Parliament Square with a JCB, a pot of paint and a bunch of feral halfwits and started attacking the (incongruous) statues of Mandela and Gandhi, would the police look the other way?
Would the BBC say that our demonstration had been “largely peaceful”?
I’d be in nick and branded a racist thug before the paint had dried.

I’m usually a law abiding, easy going sort of chap. It takes a heck of a lot to make me angry. But seeing this anarchic vermin desecrating memorials and being encouraged to do so by a contemptible, cheerleading media, is beyond endurance. This is our country and these are our memorials. If you don’t like them, piss off. I hear Zimbabwe is lovely at this time of year.

Raheem Sterling, the intellectual colossus with the rifle tattoo on one of his legs, has spoken to the Al-Beeb of his support for the protests and about how there’s only one disease right now: racism.

I know some people (and know of a few more through friends and neighnours) who have lost loved ones in the prime of their lives to Covid-19. I wonder what they’d have to say to Sterling about the clearly non-existent disease that has ripped their lives apart. Moreover, how will the BAME community react to Sterling’s comments, given that Covid-19 apparently kills a disproportionately high number of non-whites?

Needless to say, the Al-Beeb have given his idiotic opinions prime position on the BBC Sport website.

They really are an utter disgrace. The sooner that they are defunded (which means losing all their premises and equipment in addition to to the gushing well of public funding being cut off) the better it will be.

What do you have to say to the grieving relatives of these people killed by the actions you are condoning, sorry, supporting today ? What on earth happened to the 27 police officers injured yesterday ? On the Today programme this morning, despite the constant repetition regarding the Colson statue during the day, the BBC only reported on 8 police injuries ‘last night’…. and at one point even omitted the ‘last night’ part.

So – there were really 35 police injured yesterday – but, of course, the Beeboids want to diminish any negative outcome of these so-called ‘peaceful protests’.

    Bias by omission yet again.

Simple explanation Richard, 27 is an odd number and so is 35. Odd numbers create unease, because of their oddness, so in the interests of public safety and to keep things largely peaceful such numbers are rounded down to a nice, quiet sort of ‘8-ish’ level.

What a great idea . Instead of a police department why not have a “what would you like to do ?” Department .

The other day there was footage of looting in the USA where a coloured fatty was filled carrying an imac box out of a shop AKA ‘store’ and promtly getting violently robbed by another coloured .

    It was pure popcorn .

I wondered if this is the best approach to all this now – in the short term – just not getting depressed by it .

Watching a completely inept plod either colluding with the rabble or running away from them might be best treated as entertainment rather than the despair many experience .

Plod goes on about’ consent ‘ – but if it doesnt even try to preserve things which are precious to the ‘ indiginous’ majority –
What is the value of plod ?

After all – we have to pay for them to run away and lose control of fairly small demo s which become out of control because they let them. ?

The other thing , of course , judging by the reaction both here and on twitter – is the absolute bias of the BBC and its complete absence of neutrality – yet alone reporting – the violent disorder .

Now – a lot of comments on this site are ‘moans ‘ – quite rightly as that IMO is part of what it is for .

But there are a lot of clear pieces of evidence of bias by the BBC . And i m thinking of recording them ‘ off site ‘ for any coming inquiry – not just about the current disgrace – but also about so much in the past months and years .

If anyone is already doing this please let me know – because when it comes to challenging the existance of the BBC in its current form – it will fight dirty to preserve itself and all that money it is stealing from those still paying for it .

Watching the footage of a car driving into a protest in seattle and the driver then shooting someone trying to pull him out of the car – at very close range- i wouldnt want that here .

On the other hand if laws wont be enforced citizens have a right / duty to protect themselves . ……

So it seems a sife effect of 2 months lockdown is a feral black population exploited or driven by the Corbyn Left to demand entitlement and victimhood to which they don’t deserve …

Similarly trained – military. Still shooting.
But what, when the police are withdrawing from involvement in crime in preference to nail painting and even when they are present – Statue of Edward Colston, Bristol – not intervening when crime is in progress. What then?
The Government are increasingly a joke. Will they protect you when a large black family come round to your house and demand you leave so they may occupy your property? What then?
Somewhat extreme example but, it has to be thought through.
Let’s all watch Minneapolis. See how disbanding the police will work out for the citizens. I predict groups of gun owners will have to step in to, at the very least, protect their own property. Even that principle doesn’t seem to have worked too well in South Africa.
Fact is, Marxism under the guise of ‘Liberalism’ now, knows no bounds so where next? Its a very big empty playing field.

I have never been comfortable with guns of any kind. I never understood why some Americans kept them for non sporting reasons. But recent events , not in the USA , but here in the UK are showing me exactly why ordinary folks might feel safer if they have a gun at home. The police are withdrawing from the struggle to uphold the law , or at least certain laws and some politicians are egging them on. They don’t seem to realise that once this form of appeasement starts it doesn’t stop and we end up in a state of anarchy. If the state can’t or won’t protect the citizen then the citizen cant be blamed for trying to defend himself, family and property.

I do not condone the actions of the Minneapolis police towards George Floyd, but to have a minute’s silence for a man who broke into a pregnant woman’s house, held a gun at her stomach and demanded drugs and money offends my sense of decency and reason.

No doubt there are those who say that he repaid his debt to society, but I doubt that such people have any comprehension of the effect that violent crime has upon its victims. In the case of Floyd’s victim, I have little doubt that she will continue to be affected by her experience at his hands for the rest of her days.

But whereas criminals are often provided with battalions of social workers and offered help from many quarters, their victims are often treated as an irrelevant inconvenience and left to cope as best they can.

I sincerely hope that those responsible for the death of George Floyd are brought to justice, but I would beseech anyone thinking of lionising this man to first consider his own character and misdeeds – a ‘gentle giant’ does NOT break into a house and threaten to shoot an unborn child.

“Well, that’s it, after several years of happy listening – I’m off. This station, like the whole Global Group has become hopelessly left wing, particularly the “news” service, which is as bad as that of the BBC.

The last straw, for me, is the proposed minute’s silence this evening in “honour” of glorifying a dead-beat coloured no-hoper in the USA. Whether or not he was murdered by a police officer should be of no concern of yours, and your political feelings shouldn’t be foisted upon the rest of us.

A step too far, so adieu – I’ve already identified a source of similar music on line, devoid of political claptrap and fake news.”

Many different genres on there I particularly like the chilled out channel. Not sure what the classical music is like on there as not my scene.
You get one thirty second advert at the start then non stop music with only the odd ‘you’re listening to 181fm’ thrown in now and again.
Edit I did put a link but when I clicked it from my post it put up a security warning.Never had a problem on there and visiting 181 from Google doesn’t flag up as a security risk.

I have lived in Bristol all my life – am in my 50’s – and am utterly sick of how it has become one of the preferred destinations for anyone with a far left agenda to “demonstrate”, yet again the other half and I had to rearrange our already much curtailed plans this weekend due to another rabble who have decided to descend on the city. For weeks last year we had to tolerate the climate change wallies on Bristol Bridge with their pink boat, screaming and carrying on whilst we were trying to work in a nearby building, then being harrassed by these tosspots whilst trying to walk home. I am getting to the point where I cannot see why I am actually law abiding any more. I have joined the Conservative party today and now intend to give them constant earache about why they are not dealing with things regarded as important by the vast majority of people in the UK. I am not hopeful and would really prefer a properly conservative party to vote for. As an aside, I dread to think what the statue of Edward Colston is going to be replaced with.

I can only use my imagination but I would guess it is similar to how i feel when rabid feminists claim they are speaking for me.

        Cheers ThirstyPak, re Edward Colston
I was going to ask if anyone had any proper background & context info on Edward Colston.
What we get through media is MONSTER-ISATION & simplistic smear labels
The universal seems to be “the statue to the SLAVE TRADER”

So this evil guy INVENTED slavery, it never existed beforehand.
It was just him and his mates that have done ALL of the slavery in the history of humanity.
Before he died 300 years ago in Bristol he used to beat up 100 black people everyday
and put them on a slaveship where they all died.
Then before he died he put up this great statue to HIMSELF that CELEBRATES slavery
and for 300 years in Bristol it has been the law that every day 100 black people are led past this statue and humiliated.

        Reality
        – The statue was put up 170 years AFTER he died.
        – It was put up in 1895 purely as a symbol to CHARITABLE giving
        – It could have been a statue of anyone, but one of the Victorian guys reached back and picked Colston as a symbol to represent the dozens of historic charity supporters.
        – No one cared for years they just ran an annual charity day run under his name.
        – He never lived in Bristol, his family had move from their country estate to London when he was his child
He started his businesses in LONDON and always lived in/near London
Through family he did have a relationship with Bristol hence he set up the charities.
And for one term only was the Tory MP for Bristol
        – What portion of his wealth came slavery ?
        Not all
..He came from a wealthy family & his own business was importing goods from Spain, Portugal, North Africa.
        – Only when he was 44 did he join the company that dealt in slavery as part of its business, he was its head for 3 years and was there 12 years.
He left it when he was 56 and died at 85
“Colston’s involvement with the Royal African company (1680 to 1692), it is estimated that the company transported around 84,000 African men, women and children, who had been traded as slaves in West Africa, of whom 19,000 died on their journey to the Caribbean and the Americas.”
During that time his brother left him his mercantile business.

I think in 100 years time we will be tearing down the statues to
.. Chris Packham the cat & dog enslaver
.. and Michael Eavis of Glastonbury the enslaver & butcher of cows.

Fedup (above) used the phrase “a feral black population exploited or driven by the Corbyn Left.”

I think it is the Global Left who are exploiting both groups to achieve their aim. They are just much smarter about it than the Corbynistas.

In the Blair/Soros model each actor has his allotted role to play in order pick up his reward.

Starmer the slick fence-sitter has been put in place to play the Mr Reasonable ‘all things to all men’ part, with his ‘consensus’ this and ‘consensus’ that.
“What I’ve been trying not to do is to put up rival systems to the government, actually” (LBC this morning).

Loopy Lammy has been created Shadow Justice Secretary/Lord Chancellor because he has a ‘skill’ for learning lines, which in the current climate of desperation to defeat Trump and Brexit has been judged to outweigh his obvious mental deficiences. And when Loopy seriously messes up they can always play the ‘race’ card.

The feral and the mad are encouraged to run riot when it suits to create even more division and as a diversion.

Is he really so thick that he cannot see what the ultimate destination may be, if police get to pick and chose when they will enforce the Law and when not?
Your ‘Brighton Rock’ reference is spot on.
For me the bbc, on the other hand, are now not just biased, but quite beyond the pale: their manipulation of the news has been intrinsically dishonest in every way, and they have supported the subversion of Law and Order with a sickening enthusiasm.

Even when he seemingly tries to show firmness and authority, it’s usually followed shortly after by a U Turn and then shortly after that, a apology !!!

At least when Trump comes out with something the Left don’t like (travel ban) , despite all the howls of racism, sexism etc , he sticks to his guns.

GWF – I fear you are right. This is already a well-established pattern in Germany.
German Antifa are very violent, and will tear into any ‘right-wing’ demonstration with maximum brutality. The Football Lads had better go well-equipped, if they go at all. The pattern in Germany has been for the police frequently to take sides with Antifa, with the tacit approval of Merkel (if you assume the buck stops at the top).
The German governing coalition has created the favourable atmosphere for this by droning on about the ‘war against the Right’, because they fear the strength of the AfD.
That’s been all the cue Antifa needed, and they will shy away from nothing. There are indications that, while government here will not talk of a war against the Right, the half-hearted, wishy-washy approach to Law enforcement does not bode well.
So, Football Lads: think carefully. And if you decide to go ahead, go prepared.

“The battle will be a bloody one. Black and white will have no choice. The liberals … will be caught in the middle. In the end they too will have no choice – they will have to side with black or white …

Blacks will fight with pressure, leaflets, campaigns, demonstrations, fists and scorching resentment, which, when peaceful means fail, will explode into street-fighting, urban guerilla warfare, looting, burning and rioting. Critics will argue smugly that this cannot possibly happen here. Most of them will be white, blind to what is already happening, wrapped in cocoons of isolation and utopian dreams of multi-racialism, confident that white is might.

This is a quote from the peaceful protester that took part in defacing the Winston Churchill Statue.

“ Tagged up Churchill as a racist on the statue of Churchill because he is a confirmed racist.

‘He didn’t fight the Nazis for the commonwealth or for anything else or for any personal freedoms. He fought the Nazis purely to protect the commonwealth against the invasion by foreign forces. He didn’t do it for black people or people of colour. He did it purely for colonialism”

And they have the nerve to say it’s us that need educating….

The moron probably learnt to parrot that stuff on his Black Studies course at the Polytechnic of South Lambeth.

Nothing more ignorant than the semi-educated (though by now Oxbridge probably teach the same lefty garbage).

Hmmm – “He fought the Nazis purely to protect the commonwealth against the invasion by foreign forces”.

Hmmmmm – what you are saying is that he fought actual Nazis – as opposed to your mates in antifa who are fighting for anarchy…. and certainly not to protect black people…. ask yourself – who is going to suffer most from what antifa/BLM is doing in the US ? I’ll give you one big clue – nah – I’ll let you figure that one out – presumably your pea-sized brain could even work out that simple eventuality.
