Start the Week Thread 3 February 2020

There are reports that the Government is to launch a consultation on decriminalising ‘no TV licence’ – perhaps this week . The Biased Far Left BBC will argue that it will lead to loss of revenue and ability to produce ‘quality ‘ programmes . It would be good if this site could make a contribution to the consultation as a small step to make the BBC British again or end it . Contributions welcome .

I’ve seen a few Facebook posts making jokes about ”where’s the £350 million” and asking where this money is now, some from what you would regard as credible sources and intelligent people.

Do they not know that we still have to pay for this year at least, maybe more, or am I wrong.

These will be the same people who asked where this money was on the day after the referendum.
Why are they not pulled up on this when they come out with it on tv. (No need to reply as I know the answer is because all the tv lot are remainers)

Emmanuel, Margaret Beckett MP claimed on air on BBC’s R4 TWatO on Friday that “We were lied to again and again and again by the Vote Leave side.” and neither presenter, Mark Mardell, or the other contributor, Michael Portillo, challenged her on that claim.

Remainers and Remoaners have been able to lie about Leave voters without any challenge.

And you are right about paying for the current year, I think, because we had MEPs in the EU Parliament for part of it. The Remoaners and Remainers who have not accepted a UK-wide democratic decision have cost the UK a massive amount of money with their delaying tactics and votes to make the UK poorer. If Boris starts to get tough with the EU and suggests the UK may withhold the £39bn ‘settlement’ the EU demands, I would not be surprised if those same Remainers and Remoaners insist on it being paid.

They are running scared-that’s our weak duplicitous socialistic authorities. The imposition of Sharia by force has already been happening in Tower Hamlets, London. A teacher, whose job included giving accounts of different religions, was ambushed by several Muslim men and bludgeoned almost to death with a brick. Under Sharia only Muslims may explain Islam. A non-Muslim woman was told to wear a headscarf or be killed. A lone American student who had been to a bar was ambushed and badly beaten by a gang of Muslim men for drinking alcohol. Yet no action taken.
Also in Tower Hamlets passers-by have been accosted, insulted, and threatened for being in un-Islamic dress, or carrying beer, or allegedly “being gay”. This is Sharia violence in action. It undermines and countermands Western law. It subverts the constitution and incites resistance to lawful authority: that is the definition of sedition.
Sharia law bears no relation to English law, US law, or any European law. English law, as it happens, was actually set down in writing before Islam’s calendar even began in 622 CE: it exists transcribed in the Textus Roffensis. Sharia is seventh-century desert tribal practice imposed by thuggery and maintained by thuggery.Enforced illegal posters put up in Tower Hamlets.

      • Freedom Go To Hell
      • Democracy Go To Hell!
      • Muslims Reject Democracy And Secularism!
      • Democracy and Freedom on Death Row
      • Emirates for Britain
No action to stop such posters-but let TR and his supporters show such offensive words and a hundred Police officers would fall on them with singing batons.
Force is an integral part of Sharia. Osama bin Laden explained it years ago, but no-one listened:
‘I am a traitor to the UK and America because my religion requires me to be. We pledge to wage jihad for the rest of our lives until either we implant Islam all over the world or meet our Lord as bearers of Islam.’ Yet again no real action to halt this seditious behaviour is being tackled seriously. The very worst of what is happening up and down the United Kingdom is down to Islam-of that there is little doubt.

Late laughs – well, really it’s a bit sad but ….

Week before last, the Archbishop of Canterbury declared that the Church England will become ‘carbon neutral’ by 2025 or 2030 or some date in the future.

This week, the Sunday Programme tells me the Church of England are going to start their own football team. (They have had a representative cricket team for some time.) This football team hopes to set up matches against a Vatican team and will no doubt play games home and away against an Orthodox XI, Islamist XIs (both Shia and Sunni), Jewish Rabbi XIs (Orthodox, Reform and Liberal), Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormon XIs and no doubt against a variety of non-Conformists at home and abroad. OK, I made some of that last bit up but I can foresee a Pentecostal XI getting into big trouble with lots of penalties for handball and an Islamist XI refusing the offer of Israeli oranges as half-time refreshments.

The female presenter of Sunday was quite impressed, so much so that she forgot to ask why Global Warming and Climate Change and the Archbishop’s desire for the CoE to be Carbon Neutral had suddenly disappeared with all this extra travelling to be done by a mere church footie team. However, she recovered her composure in time to ask “Will there be a wimmins team?”

And the Seventh Day Adventists won’t play on the Sabbath, Saturday, which is Biblical.

The RC Church will probably insist games are played on the Sabbath, because they have changed the Ten Commandments and the Pope many years ago (hundreds) claimed he has the right to change days and times (even though the Bible says it’s forbidden) and so they call Sunday the Lord’s day.

I was trying to figure out why the BBC was reporting the streatham Islamic terrorist incident – almost with as’straight bat ‘ so far… ?
The answer being disclosed at 2036 Sunday night is that the dead Muslim terrorist is another one who had been let out of prison after being sentenced for a terrorist crime .

So it is time to blame the government . But at least this one got his own sort of ‘death penalty ‘ which is what I favour . But that’s no help to the victims of today .

In other words the BBC wasn’t able to do what they’d like to have done and would like to do – move this Islamic terrorist attack to ‘local news ‘ before disappearing ….

The ‘man’ suspected of ‘terrorist-related’ attacks in Streatham was called Sudesh Amman.

He is by now enjoying his 72 underage virgins, if they can still find that many for all those jihadists.

While various msm have published details, the massively funded beeb seem a bit slow on the uptake. Perhaps they’re waiting for their readers to be safely tucked up in bed.

It appears that the Islamic terrorist in London today was under active surveillance by the Met at the time he tried to murder innocent men and women.

Armed plain clothes police officers shot him when he started his stabbings. Had they not been there, many more would have died.

The police are between a rock and a hard place. If they arrest him early for carrying a knife and a fake suicide belt, nothing much will happen to him as regards the courts. If they wait for him to show evidence of his intent to kill, the police will be criticised for leaving it too late.

It’s often said that society gets the police it deserves. The police are not at fault. Society has not given them the support to do their job.

        What should that support be?

First, it must be recognised that Islam is a violent problem. Evidence is provided by the concrete barriers that have defaced cities around Europe as a result of past and future attacks. This is a political recognition.

Second, political parties must realise that democratic votes decide their fates. The votes from northern Labour heartlands are a prime example. Boris and Cummings are fully aware of this.

”Never in my career have I felt this organisation being under threat in the way I do now”
BBC head of News, Fran Unsworth, who joined the BBC in 1980, fears for her future.

I too wonder about the BBC. But the BBC is a bigger threat if it remains intact.
    (a) is that because the BBC so very much – lost the BREXIT argument?
    (b) is that because BBC have have had a massive ‘backdated’ pay rise for half the workforce?
(its a struggle to live off £216,000/year)….so much better with (new) pay-rise.. sure to double!
    (c) is it that 450 BBC news staff are to be made redundant due to failures of ‘BREXIT’ news operations.
(getting the news across to the under 24’s was just so off target- now Blair has gone. (simper, sniff), onwards comrades!
    (d) is it because ‘men’ are redundant in the new BBC stylists. dept. Not enough Feminininisms (isms) isms on the BBC.
(its such a struggle to be woman in a man’s world, so much better in woman’s world as they make so much better decisions, particularly those falsely imprisoned for fraud and (all) other convicted crimes. Man‘s fault (obviously). Always is.
    (e) is it because of TRUMP? Another Man.
    (f) is it because of CORBYN being found out as hopeless? Another Man to be replaced with a strong woman!
    (g) is it because of the TV license fee being pegged at £145, when it should be £945 (adjusted for inflation, Christmas bonus, expense account, taxi fares, Haemmeroid crème, bust and testicle enlargement). Because they are so worth it. Until they demanded more, that is. The BBC pays for T-A-L-E-N-T (but rarely finds it).
    (h) is it because Lord Haw Haw had led the BBC to a ‘dead-end’ and there is no way out, they have to attract the under 24’s who still remember CBBC – although they cannot remember why?
    (i) ‘Wokism’ is brand spanking new and we cannot afford to promote it properly, as we would have to sack more BBC staff who were pending gender re-assignment for equal pay. Now that’s gone backwards and ‘Woke is the new ‘in’ and we have to employ more (lots more) people of colour.
    (j) All of the above.

I think the BBC is basically heading for chapter 7 bankruptcy. But then Fran is the new Director of BBC news. She should know. The BBC is never far from the ‘top stories’…

The Backstop was designed ultimately to force NI to be united with Eire…it was the EU trying to annex part of Britain using the threat of violence to do so…..so when Varadkar talks of ‘nationalist rhetoric’ surely he means his own dangerous threat to let loose the IRA upon us if we didn’t bow down to his rigid redline….Putin..Varadkar…spot the difference….NI…Crimea….

Naturally the BBC doesn’t, and never did, challenge Varadkar on his deadly plot.

He spent his acceptance speech castigating his own industry for oppressing black people.

Hey, pal. Its easy. Just hand back the award, return your pay cheque and turn down the next part.

You can always get a job on the bins.

In the meantime….maybe the silent hideously white voters resent being told they are racist unless they vote on the basis of positive discrimination, and stick two fingers up in the privacy of their own voting booth.

I don’t know much about Joaquin Phoenix, but I doubt anything he says is to be taken seriously. He once spoofed Hollywood by “retiring” from acting, claiming to be pursuing a new career as a hip hop artist. It formed the plot of his “mockumentary” I’m Still Here.
Phoenix was present at the death of his older brother River, who used to espouse veganism and environmentalism in interviews, and who died after a drugs binge in 1993.
Among other madness, it seems they grew up in the Children of God cult (fellow Hollywood nutjob Rose McGowan was also raised in it), where their father was known as “the Archbishop of Venezuela.”

The BBC might have said something in praise of the British people, as this writer does. But no, the BBC, part of the Deep State, hate Britain and its people.

“They have told you ten thousand times what they think you are, and they are still doing it. Thick. Racist. Uneducated. Gullible. Xenophobic. Little Englander. Gammon. Throwback. Low Information Voter. Thug. Bigot. Far Right. Nazi. Fascist. Add in their eyes the most damning of all-Old. White.

But this is what you really are:

The people who made up your own minds. The people who went quietly to vote, again and again. The people who do not riot, or burn cars, or assault others. The people who do not use the courts to take away the votes of others. The people who respect democracy. The people who love liberty. The people who respect older generations. The people who love these villages, towns, fields and cities that we call home. The people who reject corruption and crookedness and fraud. The people who stubbornly protect their own. The people who will not be bullied or swayed or sneered into submission. The people who accept these blows and carry on. The people who have never loved tyranny, and never bowed happily to unjust power. The people who have taught the rest of Europe, again and again, what freedom is. The people who are the backbone and the heart and the soul of one of the greatest nations on Earth, an ancient nation with a long history of dogged valour, a nation that has championed democracy and civilisation and decency across the entire globe, a nation that has shed its own blood for the freedom of others.

This is who you are. Armies could not break you, and terror has never changed you. Bombs did not shake your resolve, and blockades by sea and air have never laid you low. Your civility was mistaken for weakness, but the steel still held, under the surface, where it counts most. Treason and scorn and the ridicule of the mighty did not sway you, anymore than violence ever did. Your leaders grew feeble and submissive, but you always preferred to stand tall, to walk your own path, to be an adult and a free one too. You will be hated for your resolve, by those who never shared it, but you do not falter or stumble. You walk towards a future, still unbowed and determined and bold. That is who you are.”

Lefty beeboid, Carolyn Quinn, starts off her ‘Westminster Hour’ telling us we have left the EU, but not quite.
Freudian slip reveals beeb’s likely approach in future: we haven’t REALLY left, so align closely; stay under the EU thumb; maybe we could get Labour into power, so everything is reversed?
Labour MP talks about the potential of the UK to break up. I talk about the potential of the EU to break up. Do the Germans really want to carry on paying for France and the Club Med? Are they really going to ‘replace’ Britain with Albania and/or Turkey? Sooner or later, the penny (or Euro) will surely have to drop…
Of course, Merkel could get into bed with the Greens (anyone will do) so it could yet take a while. They actually hope to vaporise Germany. Green bigwig Cem Ozdemir is a close buddy of Sultan Erdogan; that already tells us a lot. Doesn’t it?

Or is it someone who doesn’t like white men and has decided to put one in his place? It’s extreme road rage, and maybe Vine was lucky to come out of it in one piece.

Even Brad Pitt didn’t bother to turn up, citing ‘family commitments’, well, when a top A lister would rather stay at home with the kids than be entertained by Graham Norton, (who wouldn’t?) then it shows how 3rd rate the BAFTA’s have become. Even the roving camera had problems spotting anyone of any significance in the audience, apart from a couple of actresses who have appeared in dramas, but you’d be hard pushed to put a name to them. To those used to Hollywood glitz, then our effort must be like a night at the Odeon showing the B movie.

We, on the other hand, should continue to prepare ourselves for ongoing impeachment efforts when the current bout is over. The Democrats started on day one of the Presidency, and they won’t stop now. The ongoing COUP continues. The Democrats have no leaders and no policies.
