So what do we now know about the Paris attacker?

Well, that he was wearing a djellaba, that he was a convert to islam with a koran found in his possessions, and that he shouted Allahu Akbar.

Or. as the in-depth investigators at the remarkably un-curious BBC put it: “A man”. (A bit gender-binary that – shouldn’t it be a ‘person’?

Oh, and that he had mental problems. (I kid you not.)

Given the large number of muslims with mental health problems who go on to kill, at some point one must ask whether islam makes people go mad, or whether mad people are drawn to islam?

      I think it’s both.

I’ve also come to the conclusion that islam is based on Arianism but they don’t know it.

And also that muslims don’t come to Jesus Christ because they’re scared to death of asking questions about the cult and its beginnings because they’ll be called apostates and killed. So no wonder none of them are brave enough to read the Bible. And none of them even know about Arius let alone why I might think whoever invented their cult was a follower of him.

I stand corrected: the bbc webshite was updated 3 minutes ago.

It now reads: ‘According to French media, witnesses heard him say that he was “out of medication”.’

[NOTE: no mention of what else the witnesses heard him shout, concerning a certain snack-bar.]

“Prosecutors said that some religious items [a cross maybe? a Book of Mormon? a statue of Krishna?] were later found in his bag, but that there was “no evidence at this stage suggesting he was radicalised”.

You dhimmi dummies, a koran is all the radicalisation you need, with its exhortations to kill unbelievers!

Don’t expect the BBC to point out Bidens stupidity, but that is esactly what it is. The Democrats allowed these people into the US and now it appears they knew exactly what they were and that at sometime in the future they were going to take innocent lives, but they simply didn’t care, all they wanted was their votes.

Alas our politics are not so divided as the USA, the Labour Party and their sister party Blue Labour are just about as bad as one & other, and as we have seen yet again Labour & Blue Labour have condemned our ally, whilst other countries like Germany have stood with them.

Our Political elites are as disgusting amoral greedy and incompetent as ever they were.

Trump could not win in this situation. He had obviously been advised that some sort of imminent attack on America or its resources and personnel, so how was he supposed to respond ?
Had he ignored the threat and an attack had taken place, he would have been criticised for being aware of impending danger and taking no steps to prevent it.
As it happens he has taken action so should further retaliation by Iran take place, he will be criticised for being responsible for whatever atrocity occurs by provoking Iran.
Should Iran fail to respond Trump will be criticised for potentially inviting Iran to respond.
He is being criticised for not consulting his allies, the UK in particular, regarding the impending action. Had he done so would Boris’ administration been obliged to inform Corbyn and Abbott as Opposition Leader and shadow Home Secretary ? And if our government had informed Corbyn and Abbott prior to the event, what do you think they might have done with that information ?

The BBC have used the Iran general assassination as an excuse for some warmonger Trump narrative.

A friend tells me in passing that on C4 news it was suggested that said Iranian general was classified as a terrorist by the United Nations and therefore was subject to a travel ban so should not have been travelling at all.

Strangely I’ve not seen this mentioned in the BBC reporting.
I’m sure it’s just one of those impartial oversights, a bit like the vague descriptions of the ‘man’ over in Paris today.

Jeremy Bowen’s portentous comment that Iran “will want to get even, perhaps more than that” is typical BBC non-reporting. Yes, it is a safe bet that they will want revenge, even disproportionate revenge. This kind of banal comment is on the same level as football reporters speculating that winning managers will be delighted and losing managers will be gutted. The question is though – what is Iran going to do? Since the BBC basically hates the West and has an instinctive attitude of appeasement towards our enemies, it doesn’t occur to Bowen that the assassination of Soleimani may have fundamentally weakened and intimidated Iran. Trump has shown he is willing to strike audaciously at the heart of the Iranian regime. Iran might want revenge, they might make threatening statements in public about revenge, but they will be thinking twice about any actions they are considering. They now know they aren’t dealing with a pussycat. And in any full-scale confrontation with Trump, they know they are always going to come off second-best.

Yet again, Al-beeb have done their slippery trick of providing scant and misleading details when one of their favourite religionists murders some infidels. Then slide it off the front page asap.

Compare and contrast the info provided by Wiki and the Beebistan:

Wiki: It was reported that the attacker was wearing a djellaba and shouted “Allah akbar” during the stabbing.
[note: official French sources stated that he was a muslim convert and that a koran was found in his possessions.]
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Villejuif_stabbing

Al-Beebeera: He was later identified by prosecutors as Nathan C, a 22-year-old with a history of mental illness for which he had been admitted to hospital.

According to French media, witnesses heard him say that he was “out of medication”.

Prosecutors said that some religious items were later found in his bag, but that there was “no evidence at this stage suggesting he was radicalised”.

Imagine if the globe was warmer and we could all turn off our carbon burning central heating boilers. The so called “environmentalists” can’t seem to figure that one out.
It brings to mind the “Kyoto Protocol” where they decided to replace refrigerant gasses, CFC’s/HFC’s with ‘lesser ozone depleting’ HCFC’s. The latter being less efficient and thus requiring more electrical energy to get the same cooling effect.
So now we have much less efficient air conditioning burning more fossil fuels. They never thought it through. They never do. The price of refrigerant is now extortionate, by the way, in excess of £1000 a bottle in some cases. It’s said that heat pumps use less energy for heating than boilers, but they are refrigerant based so cost will cost a fortune.

Listening to the first 15 minutes of Toady I thought I was listening to Iranian State Radio. . The funeral arrangements for a murderer who was an enemy of the UK / US and how he is to be buried in a so called ‘ holy city’ – which suggests there are ‘ unholy cities ‘ .
Nothing about what this character was responsible for .

When you listen to BBC foreign correspondents now you get the impression that they don’t know what they are talking about and just repeat what others are saying . Jeremy Bowen is a good example .

Perhaps the grown ups are still on holiday and don’t get back until Monday .

No doubt the BBC will give full coverage to the Iranian funerals today – they’ll probably fly ‘Huw’ out to do a sombre commentary with Kate Adie doing a tearful piece . Now the view from a mosque on Tower Hamlets .

Ooh that hurt – Robbie Gibb – – a former employee of both BBC and number 10 has launched a drone attack on the BBC via a long article in the mailonline pointing out the ‘issues ‘ with Toady .
Tourette’s Robinson mentioned it in the paper view ( therefore – in his addled mind – proves the BBC isn’t biased) but he sounded like he was talking about something unconnected to his conduct .

I think the thing that hurt was Mr Gibb mentioning the Toady technique of going to lefty universities to get down with the lefty kids – whilst real life was going on in Northern English towns….

The BBC got bojo s brother on to do a limp defence of poly education – he too droned on and sounded like he just didn’t mean it .

Very interesting, OG. Have just got past the point where Alexander is pointing to Trump’s claim that Soleimani was responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans. Am scared I might catch it. Back off, Buster. You are agony to watch at the best of times.)

They are thinking only of military deaths or deaths at the hands of terrorists. There are other deaths of Americans that Soleimani may have been responsible for. Remember, he was on a so-called ‘diplomatic’ mission between Teheran, Lebanon and Baghdad. What do I/we know about Lebanon?

The place is a bit of a basket case, especially once you are away from Beirut. It is relatively lawless. It is home to lots of different groups some of which are hostile to America and Israel. In the countryside, lawlords with their own militias tend to hold sway and the police and military hesitate to go there.

And in the countryside, especially the Bekah Valley, the best poppy in the world is grown, harvested and turned into opium. The Bekah is in competition with Afghanistan in producing much of the world’s poppy and opium

There are all sorts of ways of attacking other nations and their people these days. Aircraft, ships, shells, bombs and bullets are so yesterday.

I am not saying that that is what Mr Qasem was up to. Merely that he could have been. I would have liked to have been a fly with good hearing on the wall of the WH Situation Room while the President was being briefed on the hit.

TOADY Watch #1 – Guilty as charged

Late wake up this a.m., just in time to hear diplomat Sir John Sawers being very undiplomatic about President Trump. He also seemed to be slightly ignorant about American politics. I thought that strange seeing as Sir John had been 1. in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and 2. head of MI6 (external security services), and, 3. a diplomat to the UN in New York.

Perhaps Sir John let his bias against or hatred of Donald Trump to over-rule his brain and tongue.

As to anyone being ‘qualified’ to be President of the United States, my mind immediately thought of lawyers, actors and peanut farmers. Why should not a property developer businessman (however privileged and whatever successes achieved & failures endured) run for President?

My experience of US governance comes mostly from books (not necessarily fiction) and films. I always thought that US Presidents had all sorts of advisers from the intelligence, diplomatic, military and legal communities in Washington and Virginia advising on everything but maybe all those books (about the Nixon Presidency) and films (West Wing) are completely wrong? What do I know?

I do not necessarily hold with political assassination outside of a declared, ongoing war. But somebody with Sir John Sawer’s experience appears to completely discount CIA intelligence, the military advice from the Joint Chiefs together with the other advisers, including the lawyers, in the Situation Room with President Trump. Sir John also appears to discount the different political structure of a Republic where the President’s desk has the sign ‘The bucks stops here.’. As far as the US military are concerned, the President is Commander-in-Chief.

Sir John appears to provide ample evidence that the reform and overhaul of the UK Civil Service is long overdue. Perhaps Dominic Cummings is right?

The bubble has been turning its nose up at non career politicians for ever . They just cannot get it . It’s because they are inbred .

I wondered the other day here which BBC type would be first to go at President Trump over the execution of our enemies .

It wasn’t Sopel because he popped up today on Toady . Maybe they won’t let him back into the US.

Anyway as for killing senior command – much better than the killing of 19 year olds or maiming them whilst they are trying to hold non states like afgee together . Might concentrate the mind of politicians and others that they are mortal .

Sawyers on Toady this morning obviously has personL issues unless he still gets the non public stuff .

As for the American offensive against Iran – pity they haven’t followed up yet .

Maybe the BBC just cannot handle the concept of accountability.
At the BBC the buck stops……..errrrr……..with the previous incumbent/someone no longer in post/ someone who has moved to another department/ not one person but a committee/ Ofcom/ the Culture Secretary/ un undefined mix of all of the above. In other words, no-one.

Even if these predictions were to be accurate – and they are not – why would a 4 degree increase in global temperatures by 2040 be a problem? Just what is an ideal global temperature? They never seem to be able to tell us. Clearly over geological times there have been massive swings in temperature.

TOADY Watch #2 – Guilty as charged – properly this time

Greenies v Realists, an away match hosted by the TOADY prog. far from the heat and fires and smoke in Australia.

How anyone can justify burning businesses, homes and people to death, let alone the wildlife – which often does a lot better than the humans at escaping the flames – is beyond me. But a Senator from Australia (Green Party(?), or at least a sympathiser, had a good go. Needless to say she interrupted her rather saner, male, fellow Senator from the Liberal Party when he explained that a failure to create firebreaks (by traditional burning or otherwise) had allowed the fires to develop and worsen.

The reasoning of the female Senator was interrupted by my need to get down to basic household matters but I can guess what she said. Will I go back and listen again? Not sure. I used to do that regularly. But then the BBC put the additional barrier of having to sign in just to listen on Radio iPlayer or Sounds as it is now called. These days, I just cannot be bothered to go to the trouble of signing in and therefore listen to less of the BBC.

    The BBC’s loss, not mine.

In the meantime, I feel sad for the loss that many Australians are suffering because of the fires. The natural world will recover. Naturally. It is what it does. The natural world is much more robust than the human one.

The more fragile human world in Oz can thank the brainless, dogmatic, ‘Greens’ of Australia for their worsening predicament. Not even the weather is truly to blame.

On Twitter I spot libmob people pulling a trick
They dig up old articles talking about anti-left bias in the BBC
and then tweet them without providing date info or context

#1 The 2013 Cardiff report , done by very lefty academic Mike Berry in a department which is closely connected to the BBC
    https://theconversation.com/hard-evidence-how-biased-is-the-bbc-17028

#2 The 2015 Ivor Gaber article (Sussex University)
    https://theconversation.com/the-beeb-the-bias-and-the-bashing-45661

Both are on the Conversation which routinely curates echo-chamberism as it deletes inconvenient comments.

Watched Flogit on BBC 2 yesterday. Programme from Tilbury, so a large part of a show about antiques was devoted to the Windrush and West Indies migration in 1948. One of the original migrants was interviewed and of course the talk centred on racism, how well he and all the others did, the benefits of multiculturalism etc. etc. This chap obviously worked and was a benefit to the UK, also had 8 children, so helped to increase the population, as was the call in those days just after the British losses of another war..
Plenty of pictures and comments about successful black immigrants, nothing about crime rates, drugs benefits abuse. Surprisingly for the BBC.
Photos of bombed out London shown. Rebuilt now but not inhabited by the descendants of those who suffered or died in what used to be their city.

A courageous and rather touching decision by David Lammy has left the contest for leadership of the Labour Party wide open, despite many (sic) entreaties for him to remain in the race.
There you are, you see. Despite all that evidence to the contrary, good old Lammers is capable of reaching a rational conclusion, and one not based on race. Wise man. Well done David!

Apologies for labouring the point, but the BBC really must be called out on their biased reporting of the knife attack in Paris.

More than a day after the attack, Al-beeb are still avoiding any mention of the M word or the I word, slanting all their reporting toward the killer’s ‘psychiatric condition’.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-50986028

    The Mail is less squeamish:

DM: Terrorist knifeman, 22, wearing a fake explosive vest and ‘shouting Allahu Akbar’ is shot dead in Paris after stabbing three people and ‘killing a 56-year-old man who was trying to protect his wife’.
Bloodbath took place in the Hautes-Bruyères park, Villejuif, in Paris suburbs.
Attacker appeared to be wearing an explosive vest and was shot dead by police.
Witnesses told local media he shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ during the assault.
One has died and another two remain in ‘critical condition,’ police said.

Does seem strange that the BBC – so much europhile – somehow misses the horrors taking place in France and Sweden and god knows where .

They go on about ‘ freedom of the press ‘ but what a lie that is – when their editorial approach has become so transparently biased .

I don’t know about you but there has been a gradual bias which has become si obvious now that almost the majority of TV licence payers are noticing and objecting to it .

There’s no coming back from that . The BBC will blame the government for ‘ hostility ‘ in its’ habitual way .
