Start the Week Thread 2 December 2019

Islamic Terrorists are attacking again and it’s 10 days to the General Election . Plenty of mud will be thrown about and we ll witness the biased Far Left BBC trying to make it stick to the Conservative and Brexit Party as much as possible . More and more people are finally realising how biased the BBC is ( see Andrew Marr ).

Rather typical of the BBC to take a different view of the incident and to pepper the entire apology of an article quoting the Guardian:

Well Corbyn has finally done the right thing and apoligised for the antisemitism in his party. We all know that as the BBC are broadcasting it like mad.

What the BBC are not broadcasting however are two sort of related things. One Donald Trump has said that the US have no interest in the NHS and that pretty much throws Corbyn’s smear out of the window.

Secondly it seems that there has been something about those NHS files that Corbyn got hold of. These leaked documents are said to be a type of ‘Russian disinformation campaign’

Sky News actually covered this but the BBC are keeping silent on it.

I mean they rushed into the story last week when Corbyn (falsely) claimed that the NHS was for sell without seeing any evidence of it yet they are just brushing this under the carpet?

Sky News report might be able to explain it better than me:

I’m not sure it is the right thing, and I’m not sure if I believe his apology, made through gritted teeth.

To me the whole issue of the lefts weaponising of speech is that genuine people who do hate others disguise that hate, yet it’s still there.
Corbyn I think genuinely is an anti Semite so what is the point of an apology? What has been gained other than an old Nazi polishing a turd ?

He and his party are still deeply anti Semitic only now an apology has allowed them to hide it.

I’d say he’s probably done the wrong thing, and he has done it to assist his electoral chances, not because he’s sorry.

Yes that is the thing. He knew that he could not face another grilling but at least he tried his mighty hardest to say sorry. The thing is it is not very believable only the BBC are now rallying around him like he has made a huge step towards something

This morning I searched Twitter : Greta Arrived
4 tweets down there was an advert marked “promoted content”
it was a tweet by @BbcEarth promoting their O2 concert
… why is the BBC paying money to Twitter to advertise at me ?
“BbcEarth Twitter : This is a page from BBC Studios who help fund new BBC programmes”

Some one tweeted that for the previous gig there’d been Twitter advertising even though the gig has sold out.

What’s the logic in all this ?
BBC Studios make a profit by selling tickets and thus add to licence funds
but are tgey somehow promoting Greta’s POLITICAL messages with their Twitter advertising ?

Not once in this BBC unbelievably bias report does really explain why Comic Nish Kumar was booed off stage. All the quotations are sympathetic to Kumar, or indeed quotations by Kumar. In fact, the only quote that isn’t Kumar, is another BBC stooge, Greg James. Interestingly, the piece has no Journalist name attached to it so one can safely assume it was written by Nish Kumar.

Reading the piece it’s actually difficult to ascertain what the actual story here is.

So, For the record. Kumar was booed off stage because his lefty, anti Brexit, politicised BBC PC bile was met outwit the echo chamber he normally resides within. Rather than gracefully leave the stage, he persisted with his so called ‘comedy routine’ and had to be removed by an experienced Compere who saved his bacon (can I say that?).

It’s such an interesting juxtaposition when the ‘BBC bubble’ meets real people.

I read about this now. Most of the public are sick of politics and the way Brexit has gone and just want to see something good to happen. Having just another lefty trying to make a joke of the whole thing is just tasteless.

It does go to show that a lot of people really do not tolerate all of that lefty bile

The problem with 99% of these stand-up ‘comedians’ is that they continually follow the ‘safe path’; anti-Trump, anti-Boris, anti Brexit Party, anti anyone voting ‘leave’ blah blah deblah. Moreover, they do it in a mocking style which really puts your back up.

Unbelievably, apart from one dissenting voice on his Twitter account, who said it should have been soup thrown at him, all of the luvvies following him are heaping praise upon his act.

They really do live in a bubble. Any comedian worth a damn would have assessed the audience before performing and changed the routine accordingly but not a chance. His lefty twotter followers blame the organisers for booking him. It’s their fault you see. He’s really funny don’tcha know.

BBC can’t stop spinning and lying.

One of its comedians gets booed off stage for making anti-Brexit, anti-British jokes and insulting comments about the audience…they’re thick and racist, the usual BBC fare, and the BBC forgets to mention all of that and instead actually attacks the audience…maybe he forgot this wasn’t a carefully selected BBC audience…it was real people…
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-50644317

‘Comedian Nish Kumar was booed off stage after making Brexit jokes at a charity event on Monday night.

Kumar, who hosts the BBC’s Mash Report, was performing at the Lord’s Taverners annual charity cricket lunch.

“You are the only audience in my entire 13-year history of performing that have actually thrown something at me,” Kumar said, after a bread roll hit the stage.

Radio 1 DJ and Taverners’ ambassador Greg James said the behaviour of some of the crowd was “appalling”.’

Not the behaviour of Kumar then?

Guido has a more fulsome report of events…

‘There was a tragedy yesterday at Park Lane’s swanky Grosvenor House, left-wing comedian Nish Kumar tried his student union calibrated Mash Report material out on a crowd of middle-aged cricket fans. The audience responded with boos, jeers and calls for him to leave when he riffed on Brexit. A co-conspirator emails:

I’ve been at the Lord Taverners Christmas lunch (raising money for disabled kids to play sport).

Nish Kumar was booked as the comedian. He had a shocker. Kicked off with how sh*t Boris was at everything and then moved on to imperial British rule gags. He then praised former speaker Bercow (in audience). Moved on to why Brexit was a bad idea. We should have a second referendum as the only way out, because it had all gone badly. Everyone was thick. The audience were racist. The audience were disrespectful to Second World War dead.

Tried to recover with a half-arsed apology which was he was doing gig for free and if we all donated more the charity could pay a right wing comic Instead of him for free… Nearly £200,000 raised at the lunch.

Was being slow Clapped. Refused to leave stage until clapping ended otherwise they would have to continue for his fully allotted time… another 4 minutes.

Eventually the compere (someone he described as “dressed like he worked for the queen”) stepped on to the stage. Killed his mic and ushered him away.

During it all a bread roll was thrown.’

If you nip over to the Guardian or the Independent (the BBC’s newsgatherers) you might detect a bit of a shift.

    A shift downwards that is.

The current tactic seems to be to employ visiting edgy woke guest writers to push vitriolic and basically trash articles all designed to denigrate Boris and the Conservatives in general and anyone not in step with their mantra (The majority of the public!).

Jawdropping today as I turned on the radio and was astonished to find that the Labour Party had its own radio station.

Norman smith was telling me that Boris was going to fun places and clowning around on the campaign trail whilst dodging genuine scrutiny….scrutiny like numerous interviews, phone-ins and a TV debate does he mean?

Following that, on WATO, they chose to run a dramatic exposé of the horrendous housing and rental market using extreme examples, undoubtedly the exceptions, of victims who have suffered appallingly due to, they and the BBC claiim….. universal credit and austerity. The final line from the BBC journo…they will be voting…for the party that can provide the best solution to the housing problem. And we all know that this is Labour’s chosen battleground. Good of the BBC to promote the cause for them….again. Of course not a single voice providing any counter to any of this….just an outright stream of propaganda from the BBC.

Emma Barnett was on form as well, yet another anti-Tory, anti-Brexit broadcast…seems to be every day with her. She wheeled in Fat Pang without telling us he was Chair of the BBC Trust[until the very, very end…and then only because…well, see later] or that he was an ardent remainer who said that Brexit was a ‘crazed ideological jihad’. He was allowed to launch an astonishing attack on Boris and the Tory Party with Barnett uncritically cheering him on and at times feeding him lines to stoke the bilious outpourings.
Patten claimed the Tory Party was now some Little Englander extremist party and you just couldn’t trust Boris. Barnett, having been sneering at Trump all morning already, suggested that as we know we can’t trust Boris can we therefore believe a word he says when he says the NHS is not for sale? Strike two for Labour…another of their favoured battlegrounds.

This is of course the BBC institutional narrative…you can’t trust Boris….Norman Smith admitted that the BBC was having a problem trying to nail Boris on any issue because he’s announced nothing controversial….and we know that Boris is personnally attractive as a character to many voters whilst Corbyn is verging on sinister and repulsive…thus combine those two problems for the BBC and the resulting solution is their plan of attack that they have developed….undermine Boris as a trustworthy politician…that’s basically the line that is threaded all the way throughout their reporting.

Talking of trust and we get another line that Barnett feeds to Fat Pang. Complaints are pouring in about BBC bias at record levels and Barnett wanted to know, as an ex-Chair of the BBC Trust, what Fat Pang thought about this. Not a problem he thought, they’re all mistaken and would be very, very sorry if the BBC weren’t there to provide them with the critical, accurate, impartial truth that the rest of the Media just doesn’t provide….an example the Press’s coverage of the terror attack…apparently outrageous, prejudiced and misleading in some form or another…unexplained. The BBC thankfully was there to provide rational and measured coverage….er…like Marr’s witless, highly prejudiced attack on Boris Johnson as Marr used the interview purely to push what was clearly an editorial line decided before the show…the Tories caused the Terror attack…people died due to the Tories. Marr lied throughout the interview [such as it was..Boris could hardly get a word in]…so much for honest, impartial journalism that we can trust.

When will the Tories learn and get some full-time staff logging every word the BBC says…they will be shocked at the bias and will have an unimpeachable record of it that would prove beyond doubt that the BBC is trying to rig the election in Labour’s favour…one that the BBC offshoot, Ofcom, can’t ignore or dismiss.

Could it be the intention is to suggest that Corbyn will fit right in and have no problems dealing with the US…even after expressing deep loathing, contempt and hate for Trump…and thus we can rest assured that if we vote for him our ‘special relationship’ will sail on as usual?
