Weekend Thread 23 November 2019

The Far Left Biased BBC now has three weeks to sell the Labour Plan to sell out Brexit and Crash the economy . We can expect full coverage of non labour/Liberal candidates being abused whilst Labour candidates will be heroic in their support of Jeremy Corbyn . We must think of the many who can no longer stand the Bias and unfair coverage and the few who still force themselves to witness what the BBC is doing .

An utterly discreditable political party-On Thursday the Labour Party launched its manifesto for the general election on 12 December 2019. Focusing purely on Brexit. The key points of Labour’s manifesto on Remain/Brexit
      • Negotiate a new deal with the EU within 90 days of taking office
      • This will require yet another extension from the EU of the Article 50 period – the FOURTH since 29 Mar 2019
      • ‘No deal’ is completely rejected – even as a negotiating position
      • New ‘deal’ will include a permanent Customs Union and Single Market provisions
      • Free movement to continue
      • Funding EU agencies to continue
      • Maintaining level playing field on all EU legislation
      • There will be a Transition Period of undefined length
      • Second Referendum to be held within 120 days of taking office
      • Options to be Remain or New Deal – no Leave option will be presented to voters
      • Options is only:
      • Remain
      • Remain, but with no vote
Incomprehensible as to why the Conservative, Brexit, and UKIP parties have not pointed this out in very strong terms. Under a Labour government a second referendum will take place within 120 days, without even a Leave option on the ballot paper.
      • Labour rejects Mr Johnson’s ‘Withdrawal Agreement and Political Declaration’ because it does not keep the UK aligned strongly enough in the EU. Any renegotiation with the EU by a Labour government should in fact be easy, because Labour only want to deliver almost everything associated with full EU membership, but without having any vote on anything the EU decides. The EU will lap it up.
In the Sunday Telegraph the veteran and respected Labour MP Kate Hoey was interviewed.
“Well, the Labour Party has left me,” she sighs. “Labour simply does not have a credible policy on leaving the EU.”
“I know Jeremy is genuinely anti-EU, always has been. We’ve walked through the same lobby for decades, voting against Maastricht etc, but he’s not been strong enough. He had a Parliamentary party that was stuffed with Remainers. They knew they couldn’t get rid of him as leader so they’ve used the EU issue to get at him. Jeremy’s allowed himself to be completely stitched up, particularly by John McDonnell.” Here, here to that-A new Labour leader in waiting, me thinks?

bk, “Also, the rain and floods were all boris’s fault too” yes, but, no but, Bojo does himself no favours at times – in fact as one newspaper Editor observed, “He is is own worst enemy.”

Bojo was particularly brainless on the flooding. He had had the example of his predecessor’s failure over the Grenfell fire tragedy. A plain example of what not to do as PM. He then goes and does exactly the same sort of thing. I despair!

He could have got off his big, fat, backside and up to Yorkshire a lot sooner as well as avoiding stupid photos with mops, etc..

As Matt Hancock observed on TOADY: “He has only been PM for 120 days.” to which I would add “And already proved himself to be a complete muppet, with or without a mop.”

I saw a bit of Boris and he was being attacked both by Bruce and the Left-wing audience. It was amazing that Bruce managed to pick on random audience members who, between them, covered the whole of Labour’s attack plan. Very clever Bruce, I don’t know how you managed it but your unerring accuracy in finding these “random” marxists should make you a legend.

BBC REALITY (does it EXIST)? If we presume that ‘False-news’ needs to be checked by the BBC, then obviously logically some other false news does NOT get checked by the BBC (why is that?). Who is telling the truth. if nobody is telling the truth, is everybody then correct? An inconvenient Truth is telling the fevered public what is expected to want to hear (even though it turns out to be totally wrong when found to be as inaccurate as Attenborough Penguins). History is interesting because it is not written by the BBC, although they are busy re-writing it. They have the power of influence. So called ‘soft power’ of influence. The Guardian flower eaters and Twitter buds.

Believe it or not the BBC is going into the Ministry of Truth business. Perhaps it’s well-intentioned now but there’s always a risk of mission creep. The inference that the BBC’s own news is never misleading is interesting.
    H/T Lord Beaverbrook

    https://tallbloke.wordpress.com/2017/01/13/bbc-reality-check-team-to-expose-social-media-fake-news-stories/

What if the BBC don’t know?, would they ever admit that? Who’s to know? That is the truth in Politics. Does the WINNER (always) WIN? Nobody knows the future more than 50% of the time. Its a myth. The BBC think they know 100%, which is an obvious false claim, nobody sane would say that without a close Political bias to ‘win’. Economists have proven to be pretty poor at predictions at UK prospects. And the ‘not-very-academic’ BBC EXPERTS have been considerably wrong on Climate – but right about ‘hysterical claims’ which are getting worse each year. But whatever ‘truth is out – there will be a ‘down payment’ (whoever gets elected) for more GREEN taxes, which is at an all time high in Europe. And about to double our UK electricity costs. That is a fact. Rising costs in a country that trades on low pay. Unless you work at the BBC ‘wokers’ (sic) paradise.

As Rumsfold told us ‘there are known knowns’, and we don’t know the total of the other unknowns – or something similar to that. He was right in that we cannot know everything. The BBC claim they do. So who is telling the truth?

BBC facts are like Chocolate, they melt under observation yet hold up quite well in a fridge which remains locked. Then CO2 has been used in many dry-ice commercials, (its that fog you see on dance floors), and is present in all fizzy drinks and most beer (some Beer is Nitrogen, but not many), and then we have the rather tricky problem of Concrete, as this gives off vast amounts of CO2 in its construction and setting for more housing in tall Pyramids. The Greens also want some place to live without plastic, concrete, steel, manufacturer of any kind (carbon credits remove the industry to a third world nation that ‘sells’ carbon credits’ which we (the consumer) have to pay for as a GREEN tax. The middleman (EU or UN or both) set the rules of the game. Nothing is actually reduced. It all remains exactly the same.

The fact that CO2 is entirely harmless and is essential to most like of Earth, and is NOT the cause of any global climate change has been proved since Michael Mann Hockey Stick Graph (as used by Al Gore). But The Facts are inconvenient here. The real BBC fact checking unit would prefer to tell us a ‘lie’ to prove the ‘truth’ that its a lie. The fact that it is a policy of the UN ‘one world government program’ (UN AGENDA global Sustainable program = Agenda 21 = Climate change). So False News is (somehow) good for us collectively (as we don’t understand the true ‘FACTS’). A bit like BREXIT. Democracy (as in Accountability) to BBC finances leads to questions that we cannot possibly understand! You see we need to pay for BBC ‘T-A-L-E-N-T’ (and they have lots of it hidden away at the BBC). Rather too much of it on display.

That is why we need a BBC Reality FACT checking service! And that is why we need a vast network of EU Bureaucrats to explain to us ‘plebs’ by raising our UK taxes to pay for ‘TOXIC” CO2 emissions that won’t make the slightest change to the environment whilst working for the BBC. These will be the new Sun gods. Stars in transit across the heavens on celestial wings of pure vapour. Dramatic orators and display ‘artistes’ of small (getting smaller) silver (mobile) screen.

BBC reality FACTS will prosper the ‘needy’ rich who will be similar to the sun god G-RETA (pronounced on pain of public humiliation to deny the true destiny of the STARS who predict the end of the world is nigh). If successful, it will be a repeat of the Egyptian Gods. Pyramids of Toasters will be made (made in China) to appease the true believers. Toast being banned.

A bus load of facts, all wrong and so RIGHT it has to be true. If you don’t like that FACT, then they will have another, (all very similar at 97%). All BBC employees agree 97% is a fact (whatever it is) because its been agreed by 97% of the same people who have no idea if its true or false. As a matter of fact, meaningless opinion that the World is (made) FLAT. 97% said so… we will all fall of the edge…

But – If it not a fact, maybe we can make it so?

    • Richard Pinder says:

The BBC don’t show you any facts from scientific papers on the calibration of carbon dioxide warming inside atmospheric chambers or results from glass jar experiments, because there aren’t any results to publish. The BBC can show you lots & lots of computer models based on the assumption that its true. But the reason why the carbon dioxide atmospheres of Venus and Mars have finally proven that it’s the biggest lie in history, is that the black absorption lines are probably caused by the relativistic lowering of frequency. Instead, CO2 global warming should logically show carbon dioxide producing white lines, but doesn’t because the carbon dioxide Greenhouse effect is a hoax.

The truth is that a formula for the Greenhouse Effect based on Atmospheric mass, gravity and air pressure first suggested by James Clerk Maxwell in 1888, was proved correct in 2011 for all known Planetary Atmospheres by Ned Nikolov & Karl Zeller. Carbon Dioxide, Methane and Nitrogen are all equally responsible based on their mass. So on this point I am with Piers Corbyn and Graham Stringer, and against Nigel Farage, who seems to be trapped inside the loony carbon footprint Groupthink. As the retired American MIT Professor of Atmospheric Physics, Richard Lindzen, said about Britain “there is nowhere that the irrationality of the response to this issue has been more evident”

All because Britain has the most corrupt false news propaganda bureau in the Western World. The BBC.

One of my friends is staunchly Labour, all based on a ‘class-struggle’ basis although he would not be described as ‘working-class’ by most neutral observers and is pretty well-off, financially. As the likelihood of a Tory Government increases and the Boris deal being implemented, I have wondered what lines the Temainers will use to continue to thwart Brexit or at least to soften it further.
Firstly the message from the Remainer Leadership to their dupes of foot soldiers will be that a GE is not a suitable vehicle to settle a single issue like Brexit because there are so many other issues in play. Far better to have held a referendum. The irony of this will be delicious to Leavers. Of course this reflects badly on their refusal to abide by the decision of the first referendum but these anti democrats can dance on the head of a pin in order to degelitimise the will of the people. They have no shame and can’t be embarrassed by their own illogicality.
Meanwhile the Remain HQ will be gearing up to ensure that the trade negotiations post Brexit result in a soft deal. At this point it is unclear what line The new Government will take , will they negotiate on behalf of an independent Britain seeking the best deal but prepared to walk away or will they negotiate as a supplicant begging for scraps a la May.
There is still much to be decided about the final shape of Brexit , Leaving is only part 1 and we can expect the Remainer resistance to continue as they seek to influence the trade negotiations.

    What fun.
On Toady we here a spat.
Apparently feminists appreciate their exemptions from equality law for single sex ‘spaces’ such as women’s refuges and women’s changing rooms.
Apparently the Labour Party manifesto supports this.
But then along comes…….you guessed it….the Transgender issue.
The Labour manifesto apparently is going to allow pwoplw to self-identify as women.
Dawn Butler is apparently adamant that such self-identifying people should be allowed access to the protected women’s areas as defined by the equality act.
    The feminists are aghast.

Truly an example of the Labour Party quite literally getting its knockers in a twist and rather fun to see the ‘progressives’ hoist by their own petard.

Matt Hancock is not on good form and he’s up against a worried and determined JustRemainIn Webb at 8.10a.m.. JustRemainIn is worried that Bojo has a trick up his sleeve for a ‘HardBrexit’. “What’s all this revived contingency planning for No Deal?” asks JustRemainIn.

Hancock is ill-prepared and not as robust as on his other recent TOADY forays. He has probably been busy campaigning and dealing with the start of yet another Doctors’ rebellion in the NHS. On that latter point, I hope he is willing to take advice from Party colleague Jeremy Hunt.

An astonishing piece on Toady this morning

The BBC are supporting their climate change agenda by allowing Martha Kearney to report for a week from……wait for it…..Antarctica !!!!!!! Oh the irony. She’s already there. And this morning on Toady she casually assigned the recent flooding in Yorkshire to rising sea levels!!!!!!!!!

That’s funny. Until now, I was happy to accept the BBC weather reports which put it down to a lot of rain which fell constantly when by chance a weather front pivoted and the focal point was unfortunately over South Yorkshire.

So here we have a BBC reporter sent at vast expense and CO2 production across the world to lecture us on climate change and then make a totally false accusation about a weather event to justify her stance.

And all at the licence fee payer’s expense.
    Words fail me.

There’s more if you listen to last Sunday’s FooC where Dan Johnson made a number or errors and biases in his essay from Fishlake
eg he praised local things like a solar park, wind turbines and “LOWER”* CO2 from Drax.
misattributed Boris’s quote about Matlock flooding not being a national immunity.
and of course mis-attributed Fishlake flooding to Global Warming.
      https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000bdlt

      * Drax actually emits much more CO2 than ever cos half of its burn is American wood pellets which burn less efficiently than coal.
But some accounting trickery means their actual CO2 is written down to zero the moment it leaves the chimney.

    TOADY Watch #2 – Total Turn-off or ….

I already don’t bother listening to Propaganda Propagation, the BBC News & Current Affairs programme formerly known as TODAY, during the week after Christmas when it is ‘Guest edited’.

I would listen if it were ordinary listeners guest editing the programme, but Propaganda from Slebs is a definite turn-off in this house.

A post script to the QT debate last night.
With gritted teeth I watched it all and there is no doubt whatever thatbthe audience was stuffed with Jezza cronies, as evidenced among other things by the stooge left wing actress pretending to me a random member of the public and the cheering for Jezza before he even said anything, and the silence when a member of the audience challenged him on anti-semitism.

But very strangely the subsequent coverage in the news bulletins seems to me quite even handed. Jezza gets about the same coverage as Boris, and only Jo Swinson is revealed to have got the pasting she did.

Something rum going on, methinks. An attempt to airbrush away the bias on the night, perhaps?

  24. Foscari says:

I have been reading Douglas Murray’s “The Madness of Crowds.”
For somebody who is not the most literate of individuals
it has at times been a hard slog. BUT after reading his chapter
on “The importance of tech” I realised that I am not paranoid
about the BBC! Now please indulge me.
Murray writes for anybody to work for the tech giants such as
Google in Silicon Valley they have to prove that they are
the right kind “socially.” If not , NO JOB. How does that work
out? It works out I expect exactly how the BBC employ.
Murray explains. If you go to Google and want to know
about European art You might think that it would
come up is the Mona Lisa . or Van Gogh’s Sunflowers. The
first picture on Google Images is by Diego Valazquez. This is
not so surprising . However it is
not Las Meninas or the portrait of Pope Innocent X. The first
picture offered to someone searching for European Art is
the one of Velaquez’s portrait of his assistant Juan de Pareja,
who was black. If you carry on reading page 116 you will fully
understand Google’s agenda. And it is a diversity and
“positive” discrimination which is mirrored by the BBC. The
BBC’S believes it’s purpose is to educate us in a way that IT
believes itself to be correct . And the only correctness.
It believes that to remain in the EU is the only political
solution . And it is trying to achieve this by any Machiavellian
    way it can.
Their main approach is to try and get Labour elected . And to
do this they are using every possible devious ploy they can.
Their two main aims is to make the NHS the number one topic
and to try and put Brexit out of the picture. One of the
main reason’s the NHS has its problems is the way that
that A&E departments are bursting with patients who
have not joined a surgery and therefore go to A&E and
    swamp the departments.
So the BBC is going to marginals such as Norwich yesterday
and find as many people as they can to run down the NHS
and infer it’s all the Conservatives fault.
Why the Conservatives are having anything to do with the
BBC during this election is a mystery. What did Boris Johnson
think what kind of “invited” audience was he going to get
last night. Or that Fiona Bruce a staunch remainer like
99% of those at the BBC was going to treat him as
compared to the rest . Did he honestly think that the Trotskyist
editors at the BBC were going to allow a balanced audience?
The BBC like Google have an agenda. We can’t do much about
Google . But if the Conservatives do win a majority I would
make scrapping the license fee and making the BBC a
    subscription channel a major priority.

      Fos,
Yes, I’ve just recently finished the book. “I couldn’t put it down”? No, for me, I had difficulty in picking it up to resume reading. Most of the work is a summary of what we all ready know is in progress. Just two full pages on the effect of Marxism and a few scattered references in the conclusion does not do justice to the overwhelming effect of that particular ideology at present.
I would have thought Murray would have dwelt upon the principal actors in all the madness: the likes of the UN and Agenda 21 (et. seq), Soros and their conspiratorial web and identifying prime individuals and their subservience to those influences. Because they are the elephant in Murray’s living room. A disappointment in my view. A better read? – ‘The Red Trojan Horse – A Concise Analysis of Cultural Marxism’ by Alasdair Elder.

Foscari – The decision by the Bbc to quietly re-educate (brainwash) us is an evil and sinister one. It is in any event a racist organisation, ever more anti-white in principle. For example, I was hugely astonished to hear the late news on radio4 last night read, edited and produced by what sounded like ‘traditional’ English names. Even more astonishingly, the presenter was male. It’s been years since I’ve heard this combination happen, for that is one programme solidly in the hands of a certain group. And you could hear easily it in the contents.
There is also unquestionably a strong pro-Labour hype, which no amount of ‘equal’ platform sharing in 1 programme will hide. (While everything else is manipulated). In fact, the fuss the beeb has made about the Labour manifesto is quite unparalleled – sort of on first moon landing level.
For the Brexit launch I had to go to ITV for an interview with Nigel.

The conclusion is quite clear: personally, I see no obligation to pay any licence fee to this most partial and manipulative of broadcasters, and I shall let them know why. I hope everyone else agrees with me.

We need to ask the Tory Party whether, like the Brexit Party, they will PROMISE to remove the bbc licence fee, or forfeit our vote.

Another video from the BBC targeted at young voters which asks…

Will how you vote make you better off?

It opens with the thought that for Millenials life is especially tough…wages are still lower than they were 10 years ago…hmmm…since 2010 then? Funny how all economic/political history starts in 2010 for the BBC.

It tells us that the film will show us what the political parties are offering us and how that will effect the money in your pocket.

But does it do that, does it provide an answer? Well there’s actually no attempt to give an answer, what we get is a history of the past ten years….kicked off by Gordon Brown ‘saving the world’ as it plunged into chaos and crisis caused by US banks…not helped of course by Labour’s risk-based deregulation and reckless spending….er…somehow they forgot to mention that in the film.

Remember this from Brown in 2007…

‘Over the ten years that I have had the privilege of addressing you as Chancellor, I have been able year by year to record how the City of London has risen by your efforts, ingenuity and creativity to become a new world leader….So I congratulate you Lord Mayor and the City of London on these remarkable achievements, an era that history will record as the beginning of a new golden age for the City of London.

Your international success is critical to that of Britain’s overall and considering together the things that we must do to maintain our competitiveness….enhancing a risk based regulatory approach.’

    and this the year before…

‘I believe that we were right not to go down that road which in the United States led to Sarbannes-Oxley, and we were right to build upon our light touch system through the leadership of Sir Callum McCarthy – fair, proportionate, predictable and increasingly risk based.’

Ah yes, I remember it well…Light-touch, risk-based regulation…leading to a golden age for the City of London.

Odd the BBC didn’t quote him saying that.

What we got instead was a run-down of Tory decisions that had ‘disastrous’ consequences and reduced people to poverty…Labour and independent economists said spend more but the Tories cut, cut, cut….it was sold as a virtue but…was disastrous.

And did you know some people make decisions not based on rational, intelligent reasoning but emotionally….and amazingly, presenter’s eyes wide-open in astonished shock, in a poll in 2017 2/3rds of Leave voters thought significant damage to the economy was a price worth paying….zoom to close up of astounded face.

Just a very unsubtle attempt to make the Tories appear bad and Labour good. When she asks ‘can we trust politicians’ they flash up pictures of all the leaders with Boris first…but you have to rewind several times to see Corbyn who flashes by almost invisibly…maybe it’s my eyes or too much cynicism…but maybe it’s editing.

There is no answer as to who will put more money in your pocket…this is, ironically, a video aimed at manipulating your emotions in one direction and nothing to do with actually laying out the facts and figures. A bit of the good old 1984 two-minute hate…of the nasty Tory Party.

So bad for BBC this. So someone earning £80000 is in top 5% of earners in UK. How many BBC Leftie staff earn below £80000 ? Most lesser interviewers / presenters earn double or treble that and many six or seven times. So when they preach to us and condemn the Conservatives for looking out for the wellbeing of the richest ( in terms of earnings) in the country they are in fact referring to themselves.
Therefore, to avoid any suggestion of hypocrisy would it not be better to cap their salaries at say £50000 so they can really claim they are down there with and truly represent the ‘people’?

Man wanted over anti-Semitic abuse on Northern Line.

Note the children are described as “Jewish”, the woman is described as “Muslim”, and the perpetrator is described as “a man”.

      Spot the odd one out…

    Monday 8th January 2018: BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast, 3 January 2018

During a phone-in on the programme a contributor, Danielle Tiplady was introduced as a staff nurse. We should have established and made clear on air that she was a political activist.

Should start at 10 years minimum in a real prison .

The BBC really does have some strange ideas:

    _109797475_hi058173045.jpg

A man is being sought by police for directing “horrific” anti-Semitic abuse towards Jewish children on the London Underground.

He was filmed reading anti-Jewish Bible passages to two boys in skullcaps travelling with family on the Northern Line at about midday on Friday.

I don’t know what qualifies as a child these days, but a man with a beard is not a child in my book !
