Beware everyone, Emily Thornberry is „gonna mash us“ …

Yes, well, maybe she should have chosen a different verb? ;o)

The comments really say it all :o))

Listening to HoC livestream (to avoid the msm-filtering) … “such fun”:
Carol Monaghan (SNP) “In the event of a no-deal breakfast”!

Good thing the opposition have little sheets to read from (doubt if they would come up with anything “intelligent” to say if they had to speak without a script?).

Take Angela Rayner [very curly hair today: think she was in a rush and didn’t get as far as the top of her head? But then maybe the “Spaniel” look is fashionable in London :o) ] – jabbers off her witty little personal attack on Gavin Williamson – the Sec of State for Education, checking her notes every couple of words, then barks (couldn’t resist ;o) her question. [… “benefi’ing” always thought there was at least one t in there?]

    e019fc28-e093-4e1b-be00-02b3e40429c8

When he replies she continues to read from her notes another , slightly longer “prepared” version of the same question. i.e. she hadn’t actually listened to his answer (might then have had to come up with something to say herself?) but prefers to continue with her scathing little speech – very clever, I’m sure.

    Absolutely pitiful …

Is Emily Thornberry a Labour MP??

She’s on so many BBC programmes I thought she was a BBC reporter being mentored to be the next impartial political editor.

Remembering of course that Polly Toynbeeee was once the impartial Home Affairs editor and Chris Mason an impartial editor on the Newsshite team.

Why has the BBC been running around the country all morning asking people if Boris should ‘break the law’? Boris has no intention of breaking the law as the government has stated repeatedly.

Boris Johnson maybe looking for ways of legally avoiding implementing the law, a ‘law’ which itself could be legally and constitutionally questionable, but that is a polar opposite to ‘breaking the law’.

Have to think the BBC is trying to one, whip up the Remain/anti-Tory/anti-Boris mob, and two, trying to ‘just put out there’ that Boris doesn’t care about legality and due process…he’s a reckless, lawless tin-pot dictator…is the impression I imagine the BBC are trying to convey.

The enemy Berkow has just made a speech about leaving his office at last – he got a round of applause from labour / opposition . Scumbag seems appropriate .

I hope only a few people got to see it because it was nauseating , self serving and a disgrace .

The bastard even got a bit tearful .

It was interesting how many Tory MPs – including the Front Bench except for Gove – were absent .
If ever there was an example of how detached and inbred that place is this little ass kissing episode was it . Vile vile and vile

What’s more – by the sound of it Comrade Corbyn will nominate him for the Lords .

    Enough . It was awful.

Fed you beat me to it!!!

Just announced he will be leaving on Thursday 31st October – get in there before they throw him out. Actually tearful as he thanks his wife and children .. God what a creep …

Blabbing on about not apologising for his “behaviour”.
“He has always sought to be the backbenchers backstop.”

I can think of other ways of putting his behaviour.

He really knows his time has come – pity he was able to cause so much aggro in his “10 years” as Speaker.

Evil, power-grabbing, “scumbag” – exactly – thanks Fed, was thinking just what to write!

Grief – now Corbyn is thanking him “personally” .. cringe-worthy!
Are people really so quick to forget? ”
Our democracy is certainly NOT stronger for him being the speaker … Yes – he has made the role of Speaker more powerful because he kept taking power for himself.

I’ll stop before I say something I might regret …

A Tale of Two Mosques —

BBC in full apologetics mode with “24-hours a day Norwich mosque set to be refused” on the home page.

Predictable endorsements from 1) the Labour councillor who doesn’t foresee a noise problem with a 24hr mosque, and 2) the Norwich and Norfolk Muslim Association (NNMA) who say “our last application gave us permission to use the building as a place of worship, but if we can not worship at the times we need to, it’s a bit of a conflicting message for us”.

Well according to a Norwich Evening News article from 2018, while planning permission was granted to convert the former pub into a community centre, it had a condition that it couldn’t be used for a variety of other purposes including ‘a place of worship’. (Some locals say it’s already being used as just that, with complaints of noise from the morning prayer.)

And according to Norwich City Council, a submission has indeed been made to remove place of worship from the list of restricted uses — but it is currently waiting a decision.

      “Dawn Butler”

Did you see her trying to stop Bercow from leaving the chamber all the while looking over her left shoulder so that the TV cameras can catch her climbing the highest over her fellow MPs so she can be seen.

Clearly she hopes that that photo of her bouncing over her fellow MP friends will be as famous as the other famous photo of “Tank Man” standing in front of the tanks threatening to crush him.

In the house she shouts every one down who disagrees with her yet in front of the TV cameras outside the house inside the debating chambers her poor education and honesty is there for all to see. Its so easy to shout and complain but its the hardest thing to explain, reason, and to understand ones subject/line of thought while debating with other real politicians.

Could a no-deal Brexit still happen on 31 October?

It’s interesting to note the scenarios in which the BBC thinks this could happen.
    (1) MPs approve a Brexit deal
    (2) MPs vote for no deal
    (3) The Government ignores the law
    (4) The Government scraps the law after an election
    (5) The EU refuses a deal

Nowhere have they considered that the Government may find a loophole. They appear arrogantly to assume that there cannot be one.

I believe there are quite a few possibilities. Perhaps the BBC knows this too but does not wish to mention them lest the Government not have thought of it. For instance, the law may require the Government to ask for an extension, but does not require that it sign any document authorising the extension. Bercow has, probably inadvertently, confirmed this by his actions to force the law through.

There are other possibilities such as the Civil Contingencies Act and if the Government does not use any of them then the Tories will deserve what happens to them in the forthcoming election.

I have my doubts…..Corbyn and Labour will come under more scrutiny in a general election?….

    https://capx.co/forget-the-politics-of-envy-john-mcdonnell-practises-the-politics-of-vengeance/

‘What may work in their[The Tories] favour this time is that the threat of a Labour victory, even if only a minority government, is large enough for their plans to come under a bit more scrutiny. Back in 2017 Corbyn and McDonnell certainly benefited from a lack of focus on their specific tax and spending agenda – this time, with the polls veering all over the place, we can hope for a lot more attention on exactly what their plans would cost the British economy.’

Not from the BBC, the BBC that portrayed Corbyn in 2017 as a champion of the police force, a champion of the security services and an ardent cheerleader for anti-terrorism legislation and related measures….when we know his real, well known, repeatedly stated over decades, position is the polar opposite of all that.

The BBC that put together a mocking montage of May saying ‘strong and stable’, the BBC that put together a mocking montage of government claims, totally accurate ones, that one of the coldest winters with severe snow storms in recent history caused a dip in the economy…as of course it did.

This is the BBC who doesn’t, doesn’t, bring us a mocking montage of Corbyn demanding a general election…unlike the Telegraph which has helpfully slapped one together for our delight and education….I quote ‘Bring it on!!!’

Alan, even by your own pitiful standards, this is a pathetic attempt at gaslighting.

Some BBC News highlights from 2017:

“Corbyn pressed over IRA comments”; “Jeremy Corbyn has refused to single out the IRA for condemnation when pressed over his past campaigning activities”; “Corbyn quizzed on Trident and IRA”; “Boris Johnson said it was ‘absolutely monstrous’ that the Labour leader had attempted to ‘justify’ or legitimise the actions of terrorists”; “Theresa May said: ‘Jeremy Corbyn has said that terror attacks in Britain are our own fault’.”; “Duncan Smith demands Corbyn IRA apology”; “A former officer in the British Army who served in Northern Ireland during The Troubles, Mr Duncan Smith accused Mr Corbyn of seeking to equate British soldiers with terrorists.”; “Jeremy Corbyn’s attitude to the IRA came under scrutiny in a weekend TV interview”; “[Corbyn] incurred the wrath of the Labour leadership early in his career, when he invited two former IRA prisoners to speak at Westminster, two weeks after the Brighton bomb that had nearly killed Margaret Thatcher and her cabinet”; “[Corbyn’s] remarks about the IRA have been the focus of much attention”; [Corbyn] has been repeatedly pressed to condemn specific IRA attacks”

Aside from Sad-dick Khan successfully increasing violent crime in London to world record status we have the spectacle of a vicious gun toting criminal managine to accidentally shoot himself dead with his own gun, and here’s what the local Labour MP had to say:

Ellie Reeves, Labour MP for Lewisham West and Penge, tweeted: ‘Shocked and saddened to learn of the fatal shooting in Sydenham this afternoon.

Saddened to hear of the death of an armed robber using a live weapon to kill his intended victims?

Have you seen the pictures in the house of conmen.

The whole of the left are up giving him a standing ovation and the conservatives are still and quiet apart from a few polite mps (remain leaning probably) moving their hands in a quiet clapping way.

Is this a sign of an impartial speaker or a wet leftie.
    Rhetorical.
    We all know the answer.

I wish somebody would thump that Neanderthal screaming and shouting whilst people are trying to listen to the (so called) news.
I wonder how many viewers have decided to vote leave because of this idiot’s screeching.
He’s probably turned loads into leavers with his hoarse bawling.

The next front the traitors are attacking is the legitimacy of Prorogation . Now that there is an order for government staff to hand over signals relating to Prorogation the matter is going to land up in court .

More Soros money funnelled through Traitor Grieve and others where they assess that state communications will be ordered to be disclosed by some court after various appeals . Grieve will also assume that the time line will be within the Prorogation period .
So yet again there is a threat that the government /PM is held in contempt of parliament – or even court – by failing to disclose . The Remainers think this is clever , but the bigger picture will be that ordinary people are going to look at these events and think . “ what is worth so much to these remainers that they’ll destroy fellow politicians in this way ? ‘. We voted to ‘leave ‘ and every dirty trick is now being used to destroy a PM .

I think what Roland says at 1058pm is a fair reflection . A lot of people will have turned the whole monstrous thing off by now ..

    Just catching up with things.

Saw a good speech from Raab where he seemed cool and calm and then comes along Corbyn shouting away getting his words mixed up.

My question is who is worse? Corbyn or Bercow? Both nasty pieces of work. Glad to see the cow is leaving.

Nothing about this from the BBC of course. My guess is more prison talk for Johnson?

Bercow is worse because he is meant to be neutral and thus because he is not he is a scum bag . Anyone with half a head will know Comrade Corbyn is just an enemy of Britain and always had been – all through the 70s . I remember him in N1 for a number of reasons and like many – was affected by losing good people in Northern Ireland – but the kids choose not to have any idea of his track record as an apologist for the ‘ armed Struggle ‘ as his type would call plain murder

Her front remainer man – oliver Robbins- only gets letters after his dismal name and not the much sought after £peerage£- but a nice job with a corrupt accountancy firm as a consolation prize ….

Bercow quote: ““We degrade Parliament at our peril”.

Didn’t his wife do that with alacrity in the early days of his office ? draping herself in a sheet in front of Parliament, having an affair with a close relative, getting all cosy with some gypsy chap. Then he gets an attack of ‘little man syndrome’ and starts bullying those employed around him. Pity someone in the House didn’t remind him of his misdemeanours .

What complete and utter nonsense …
I hope these cowardly MPs understand what awaits them when they try and get re-elected.

LibDems continually underlining the fact that they are out to stop Brexit (very democratic, I’m sure).

SNP blabbing on that the people of Scotland are being ignored – “they just want to stay in the EU.”

It would have been better (for us all) if the arrogant Plaid Cymru and Greens “ladies” hadn’t bothered to open their mouths. And as for Mike Gapes – what a waste of space …

Corbyn could barely control his “raging” voice as he accused Boris of cowardice in avoiding answering questions / providing evidence of how he intends to get a better deal. Talk about pot and kettle.
It’s obvious they all have no idea how to negotiate/play the EU-poker – I just hope Boris can remain firm and fulfil his pledge.

While he’s in Brussels negotiating, he obviously has some good (fairly) young MPs who will be arguing and presenting the Conservative cause for an election (was quite impressed with how some of them presented their “case” tonight.)

Go for an alliance with Nigel / TBP and the opposition should be looking very small indeed …

Bercow is bellowing again. (“I require no response from you … Get out no one will miss you”) And goes on to say that this overly long prorogation is not standard procedure.

I read only the only other day (and posted here, I think) that this is NOT a considerably longer prorogation. What a farce.

And as the Government MPs (?) follow Bercow out of the chamber the opposition is chanting “shame on you” (is that usual?) – kindergarten classes are better behaved – an utter fiasco.

So, the Government didn’t “bother” to come back into the HoC after the reading in HoL and Bercow looked initially slightly stunned as if he didn’t quite know what was going on.

Now being all pally shaking hands with the opposition MPs.
    An absolutely impartial speaker …

    Good night

The BBC Swamp people are just screaming a strange “contradictory authoritarian Orwellian Doublescream bullshit” language about Boris being a dictator who has ended Parliamentary democracy for five weeks and wants to permanently destroy the careers of the BBC’s favourite Parliamentarians after that by calling for a General Election. So I will just listen to Farage on LBC at 6pm.

The Swamp (BBC and Parliament) wants Boris in prison for defying the Swamps wish to stay in the EU. The Swamp does not want the people to vote for freedom in a General Election, but conspires with the enemy behind the back of our Prime Minister. The Swamp wants to block Brexit. The Swamp wants to remain in power to vote down any Deal and to put the people in a catch 22 prison by stopping us from leaving without a Deal.

The Swamp is preventing Boris Johnson from holding a democratic election and instead they are forcing him on pain of imprisonment to do something that nobody voted for and which opinion polls show that the majority of people are opposed to any further delaying of Brexit. The Swamp wont allow the people to have any say on this until they have secured their anti-democratic determination to keep us imprisoned in the EU. The Swamp is holding the country to ransom. It is blocking a democratic election as it conspires with EU officials to force through another delay. The Swamp is planning to divide the Brexit vote in a second Referendum that it can ignore if it loses.

Remarkably I have spotted another case of dejavu:

The 1993 Russian constitutional crisis was the last time that a Parliament tried to put Boris in prison for defying the establishment. Boris was supported in his fight by the Army. 51 percent of the people polled thought that the use of military force by Boris was justified. The speaker called for Boris to be imprisoned. Boris won in the end.

So, BORIS WINS IN THE END.

Yet another ‘viewpoint’ which turns out to be a whine on behalf of Muslims, probably written by a Muslim. Al Beeb doesn’t even tried to hide its impartiality now…no other religion is as important in its eyes. So 9/11 might not have happened if the CIA had been more diverse?? How come there are so few terrorist attacks by Sikhs or Hindus, or Buddhists?

I would really appreciate Ofcom studying how much online space is given to each major religion and why. We could all have a pretty good guess at the results.

JA Sorry, I accidentally reported your comment , when I actually wanted to reply.
Harriet as a neutral or impartial Speaker – what a complete joke.
The parliamentary triumphalism is not appropriate: the say they merely wanted to assert themselves against the Executive, when actually the parliament has been asserting its power OVER THE PEOPLE. This little deception has encouraged them all to misbehave like naughty children – or even as an ill-disciplined rabble, last night. Their message: this is the real centre of power, and no one will stop us from behaving exactly as we like! In their overbearing braggadocio, they have forgotten that they will need to be voted in by the much-despised PEOPLE at some time in the not too distant future.
Hitler was also able to hijack a parliament -it does not bode well.
Bercow is behind it all because, as we saw last night, Bercow is a VERY PARTISAN Labour stooge. Harriet as speaker would be part of the plan to turn Parliament into a Labour fiefdom (and we are slowly realising the extent to which that has been the case under Bercow.)

I can’t understand why Hattie went on toady as she is a dead cert to be the new Bercow . In fact it will be as though Bercow never left .
She is highly qualified because she is full fat labour – of the Left Left – has been the acting leader of the Labour Party , it’s treasurer ever – and is married to a union funded labour MP .
She was also an advocate for paedophiles PIE in her NCCL days.

Poor Lindsey Hoyle – who would put a bit of decency back into that poundshop office – doesn’t stand a chance ….

Mrs Harman is tainted by her connections with the National Council for Civil Liberties ( NCCL, now renamed Liberty) and the Paedophile Information Exchange, PIE.
Surely even the HoC has one remaining grain of integrity to ensure she never gets to be Speaker, or any other position. In fact it beggars belief that people still vote for her to be an MP.

Toady outlines Treason May’s Honours List. Exhibiting true Globalist principles, the List contains many who, along with her, are failures, liars and history will no doubt record, treasonists. Couldn’t help thinking of the parallels in big business. You know, the increasing ubiquitous furore over top executives, having failed miserably, receiving outrageous pay-offs, along with those mediocre ones receiving big unwarranted bonuses and / increases in salary. The shareholders of these companies (voters?) are slowly coming to grips with the latter whereas, in the former, HMS UK simply sails on unhindered into the setting Sun. More evidence (if that were required) that everyone should get behind TBP as, perhaps, of more importance, is the principle of changing politics in the UK, “for good”.
