Darn I missed OJ on JV

  2. Dover Sentry says:

    BBC Online News:

“”Brexit: MPs trying to block no deal make it more likely, says Boris Johnson””

  3. Ed Hitter says:

The BBC website refers to a group of “parliamentarians” who are trying to force a legal block on the suspension of Parliament.
“Parliamentarians” eh? Not Remain extremists, hard line Remainers, anti democrats, or Brexit wreckers.
I do wonder what that great Labour “parliamentarian” Tony Benn would make of all this. He did, after all, spend many years predicting that the EU would destroy our Parliamentary sovereignty and our democracy.

  4. SPC says:

No mention on the BBC I notice about the Queen denying corbyn and swinson – the gruesome twosome, the right to an audience.

I would have thought that would be quite a good story. They could have wheeled out the ‘poisoned carrot’ to announce it surely?

Also much is made by the BBC about yanky chlorinated chicken. As I understand it they do not use anti-biotics on their animals and this is why they chlorinate the meat. Lest we forget that we are drinking chlorine in our water supply everyday. Anti-biotic over use is the biggest threat to our health this century.

    • Emmanuel Goldstein says:

This ‘chlorinated chicken’ the Remainstream media keep pushing is, as I understand it, the equivalent of chicken being dipped in a swimming pool for a few seconds.

The Remainstream media make it sound like the chicken would have to be cooked and eaten with a gas mask on and treated as a biohazard.
That’s the impression the remoaners are putting out in between their usual crash out catastrophic jumping off a cliff all diabetics will die on 1 nov no cabbages all trade will stop forever and I could fill the page with their crap although todays favourite is them somehow thinking it is anti democratic to carry out a democratic vote……….me neither.

  5. Emmanuel Goldstein says:

Is it true that Boris can simply declare we are out of the eu?

If yes, he should leave immediately and then call a GE which he will win with a huge majority.

Is there any flaw in the above or am I wrong?

    • SPC says:

Yes as I said this morning – I read that if he lost control of the parliamentary agenda the he is within his right as PM to come out of the EU before the 31st Oct.

  6. SPC says:

The BBC employees are treating their organisation as a Personal Broadcasting Station with views that pertain to their own individual lifestyles and environment. This can’t be right can it? A chap on Guido suggested that we should take back the BBC – a real coup – and get rid of the current regime and employees , Lord Hall and his children, rather than remove their licence fee entitlement. Not a bad idea.

    • taffman says:

Get rid of the telly tax and let the bloated propaganda station fund itself .

  7. taffman says:

“Sir John Major joins court case to stop Parliament suspension”
    Pot, kettle and black?
The hypocrite is the best advert for getting us out of the United States of Europe. Will they wheel out Bliar next?
We need a general election to ‘lance the boil’ .
The Brexit Part stormed home in the recent EU election, they can do it again. Notice how the party have been censored from Al Beeb and the MSM?
The Tories are finished and Al Beeb will be finished……………

  8. jakita says:

Slightly concerned by Farage’s analysis of all this but I don’t think he is right when he says Boris will try to bring May’s awful Withdrawal agreement/surrender. Surely Bojo realises this would be political suicide and the death of the Tory party?

    • StewGreen says:

We have a habit of always thinking the best of people.

… and then they abuse us

    • taffman says:

      They are finished anyway.
Just look at the Tory Party’s actions over the last three years and we are still in the EU. They have been a complete fiasco. At the same time they have done nowt about the Blatant Bias of Al Beeb.
Its The Brexit Party for me from now on and many loyal Tory voters that I know feel the same.

  9. StewGreen says:

Irony the people who are always leveraging a few people to SHUT DOWN the streets/bridges/airports to get what they want

are screaming that Boris is nasty and trying to SHUT DOWN parliament to get what the 52% VOTED for (a good Brexit)

    • Fedup2 says:

Corbyn reverts to type and the BBC will be there to go full anti Boris .

Busy times. So I’m putting up the weekend thread now .

  10. jakita says:

Taffman, I hope you are right, but in politics people have incredibly short memories. Look how many people are voting Lib Dem again so soon after that weasel Clegg sold out on tuition fees etc.

  11. Commonsense says:

Such a relief to find this website. It’s getting so bad that I can hardly bear to watch the ‘Views’ on TV, that is, programmes which seem to have replaced ‘News’ on TV. We are assaulted constantly with the opinions of mainly crass arrogant anti-British journalists and left to wonder what is actually happening in the real world. Yes, sadly it looks like the demise of the BBC (BritishBrodcasdting Corporation) and Hello the ABBC (Anti-British Broadcasting Corporation)

    • Fedup2 says:

      Common sense
Welcome to the site and the fight. I kind of do the admin so I’d be interested how you found us .

    • taffman says:

      Croeso !
Cut off their ‘blood supply’ and stop paying the Tax that ‘robs from the poor to give to the rich’.

  12. theisland says:

    Crooked Starmer speaks:

Allegedly the immediate plan is for the traitors to take control of the parliamentary agenda with Bercow’s assistance and then ram through a law requiring another extension of Article 50 beyond October 31 before it is thrown out by prorogation.

Paywall but you can read the whole article here:

Keir Starmer: Prorogation has forced everyone to ask themselves which side they are on? from ukpolitics

    • Fedup2 says:

Fake News Project Fear – Brexit causes popcorn shortage . Street protests to follow . Police chief calls for calm with promise of fresh supplies of butterkist .

    • Dover Sentry says:

I suspect that any devious moves the Remainers plan will have been anticipated by Dominic Cummings. He is a strategist with a brain for forward planning.

There are only so many permutations.

    • tarien says:

They should have asked themselves that in 1972 when Heath exercised the Queen’s Perogative.

  13. tarien says:

Perhpas it should be remembered that it was the then Prime Minister Edward Heath who exercised the Queen’s Perogative in 1972 to push the UK into the first reception of joining the European Union-I don’t recall much being said about such action at the time or much since.

  14. Guest Who says:

Well at least they can share a taxi to the BBC each day.

  15. Guest Who says:

    More Paul.

The appeal to the bbc is obvious.

    Actual normal voters, less so.

  16. Guest Who says:

    “Protestors, sah…. fahsands of ‘em!”

    BBC News

Thousands of people have taken to the streets in cities across the UK, protesting against plans to suspend Parliament.

  17. Despairada says:

There might have been thousands on the streets in Cambridge, one of the protest sites given on the BBC website, but when I got there about 3 pm to do some shopping there was not even the tail end of a protest to be seen.

These protests seem to be mixed up with demands for socialism, open borders, staying in the EU, rather than a specific demo against the four missed parliamentary days.

  18. StewGreen says:

Twitterati “It’s outrageous the BBC report that the protests were middle class”

Twitterati “OMG a Green Party Islington councillor and London Assembly member @CarolineRussell has been arrested for blocking a road”
“Green Member of London Authority arrested under Public Order Act for sitting in the road”

If you block a street .. that is aggressive, cos it stops other people’s freedom to move.

    • StewGreen says:

      Islington Greens

      • LastChanceSaloon says:

I assume that a number of BBBC contributors, who have female pseudonyms, actually are women.
I imagine them to be as pretty and feminine as their comments show them to be educated and well informed.
        Caroline Russell
Judging by her Wikipedia photograph she could block the M1 alone, definitely a “who ate all the pies” candidate.
Abbottoppotamus, Lady Hugee, and the lump of lard Forbes from Peterborough, are tough competition though.
Fat, unattractive, not very bright and all seem to have borrowed one of Diane’s spare chips.
TV is the same, conservative TV full of pretty ladies; BBC lefties practising for the World gurning championships, faces made for radio as the saying goes.

    • StewGreen says:

It does look like the people blocking the street are all white middle class (shes on the right)

    • StewGreen says:

Of course she has done lots of tweets in the past complaining about people locking cycleways etc.

  19. StewGreen says:

Middle Class protest : does it look that way ?
It does look like a genuine non photoshopped
