Weekend Open Thread 20 July 2019

The Far Left biased BBC , being naturally anti American , will spin the 50th anniversary of the landing of a Man on the Moon in its current propaganda mode .

So it’s all about – waste of money – not green – no Wimmin -no blacks -no gays -no Muslims . Why no disabled astronauts ? Why hasn’t The great EU sent a rocket yet ?

I Still feel pleased to have watched it live on TV live though .

Surely “could” is not the right word; it almost ascribes conscious agency to Brexit to carry out malign actions. “Might” is the word.

Unusually, the BBC missed the Observer (aka Sunday Guardian), as well as a few others, from its newspapers front pages spot on the web-site: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-the-papers-49060440

I see near the bottom of the previous page, at 6:38pm, taffman linked to a BBC report telling us:

“Labour launches anti-Semitism guide for party members.”

I guess the guide will contain tips for party members on how to conceal their anti-Semitism until the country becomes Islamic enough for them to give full vent to it without fear of negative consequences.

      True
I have to admit that when I heard that one I really had a double take . Is that organisation so lost that they need a guidebook to use alternative language to hide their views ?

Did the Shabi white wash recommend this ? What has she got to say ?

Since the BBC is affiliated to Labour through the NUJ it must approve of such an idea

        Fedup2,

Yes, it looks like another cover up. Fiddling with guidelines instead of dealing with the problem.

Dunno about this Equalities thing, whatever you call it, that’s supposed to be looking into Labour anti-Semitism. I recall that when a reporter tried to question Corbyn about it while he was walking along the pavement he abruptly turned and walked the other way, back to a group that he then surrounded himself with for protection before walking back towards the reporter. A woman in the group then brushed off more questions from the reporter.

I think he’s a coward as well as an anti-Semite.

Did anyone listen to Profile on Radio 4 4 at 5:40 ?
I must admit that cowardice made me turn off on learning that the person profiled was going to be Ilhan Omar of recent notoriety.
With Radio 4 it’s often a contest between being able to witness the output and resisting throwing up.

Perhaps Ilhan Omar should have gone into cooking instead of politics, then she could have influenced the world without criticism.

I’m convinced more than ever that when those poor people living in Pakistan and Iran turn on their radio they are under the impression that they are tuning-in to their local radio station. The names and accents being the same as they hear in their local village.

BBC [deception] I mean reception, travels far beyond our shores.

First duty of government is to protect its citizens.
    That means DEFENCE.
What do we give this and past governments out of ten, for the performance of this duty, (building and maintaining a credible navy for a maritime nation like the UK is KEY), a duty which they have consciously and deliberately neglected?
    Two?
    Or more?
What have they and their media droned on about endlessly?
Let’s see, we’re already very ‘diverse’.
Perhaps we have managed to be more ‘open’ and ‘tolerant’?
Indeed, we have been left exposed and have to tolerate being bullied. So pretty open and tolerant?
Perhaps we should give them ten?
And a gold star for May and Hammond.
    And Hunt?

I was musing over a glass that it would be good to link this site to our American cousins who have to suffer the BBC America brand .

It would personally make me happier to know that Americans are aware that the likes of this website exists and that there is a ‘resistance ‘ to the snowflake cancer which has infected Britain .

Blimey, the fuss the Beeb have made over this bloody netball competition.
I heard the news the other evening that New Zealand had beaten England by a score of 47 to 45…or something similar.
I had no idea they were referring to a game of netball and thought it must have been a particularly entertaining rugby match.
Is there really a mass audience for netball…other than amongst gentlemen of a certain inclination? I really don’t think so.
We all know that the BBC are obsessed with gender politics and women’s sports, but most of us aren’t.
We were force fed female football a few weeks ago.
    What’s next?
    The international transgender conker competition…
    Ouch.

Not one to defend the influx of women sport and women everything on TV but I find Netball an entertaining game. The reason it’s entertaining is it’s designed to suit women’s ability unlike women’s football which is like watching me have sex, it contains all the same moves and options but isn’t a patch on the true professional’s performance.

When I’ve been watching you having sex it’s never reminded me of Wimmins ‘ net ball –

Am I normal ? ( notice I didn’t mention about who or what you might be having sex with ) .

Yeh the boy did tweet on Saturday night that the story would be in the Mail on Sunday
\\ a trusted source read out to me an astonishing letter written by Sir Kim in June 2017 to Sir Mark Sedwill, Britain’s national security adviser. In it, Sir Kim branded Trump’s White House ‘inept’ and ‘utterly dysfunctional’.
I was shocked by the brutal language from a supposedly impartial diplomat.
I knew this was a big story – but little did I know just how big.
I spent several days mulling over what to do before contacting Isabel Oakeshott, a highly experienced journalist with whom I have worked.
We developed the story together before providing it to The Mail on Sunday.
      //
Hundreds of people hve tweeted the Mail story
most don’t believe a civil servant with access to top-secret diplomatic cables would read them out to a 19 y/o

@Banania at 8:24 pm mentioned the Triggernometry
which led me to their clip of the Sargon interview
I’m disgusted that they CHERRYPICKED that clip to misrepresent what he said about Tommy
He very clearly says 61:42 “Tommy, He’s not a racist”
and the other “I can understand” points

Yet this clip focus on this bit
    – “That’s why RAW SUPPORT for Tommy Robinson is scary to me
. Talks about the quick silent way TR supporters greet TR & to him how this feels DANGEROUS

CB is wrong : It’s not true that all TR supporters are like this quick silent type, there are many that pose for selfies, many mothers etc, some men are silent and I guess that cos of the threat of Antifa & threat of job backlash etc.
Rather than they are all closet violent racists.

So Sargon misunderstood something about TR supporters and then the presenters played Chinese whispers.
They are @KonstantinKisin A Jewish russian immigrant and cockney Francis Foster (A proper Latino lad)

    Summary
CB at 61:42 “Tommy, He’s not a racist.”
59:41 ” A lot of the members of the EDL weren’t white”
    62:03 “I can understand”
‘Police let Muslim gang with brick/bats bully & arrested local lads instead
.. grooming gang got his cousin’
“they (those Luton people) are desperate
..we can’t say they shouldn’t get the protection of the law”

63:25 ‘the British Way of life is under threat in the those towns in the north of England’
CB also said “- There’s no getting around the fact that conservative Islam is not really compatible as a value system with Western English values.”
