Just casting my mind back to previous US presidents visits, and the Fascist Left have protested just about every Republican president who has visited the UK since Ronald Reagan.
I can recall the Fascists at the time telling us all Reagan was a warmonger and would start WWIII despite the fact that his policies actually ended the cold war and brought down the Berlin wall, the Fascists never ever apologised or even acknowledged his achievement.
George H W Bush also faced protests from the Fascists, his son George W Bush was portayed as an idiot who was likely to starts WWIII
Despite some Democrat Presidents doing terrible things such as Obama, the Fascists have never protested them.
Please remember that when the Fascists try to personalise the protest, they are saying nothing about Trump that haven’t said about previous Republican Presidents, the real danger lies in them and their total intolerance of any opposition.

Watching the various protest groups today I realised how much a right wing, heterosexual, white male President is hated.To be able to appeal to all these various protestors, it seems that the next President should be a left wing snowflake.Ideally also either female,black,or gay.Of course in the world of these protestors, the dream President would be a combination of all of these traits.

I saw a feature about D-Day recently on TV.
A 94 year old British soldier was interviewed. He went ashore in his tank on D-Day and further inland they captured a German soldier. Rather than hand him over to the French who they suspected would kill him, they kept the German soldier with them for five days as they advanced.
They handed him over the the British military police at the end of this time. The German soldier cried in gratitude when he left them.
This says a lot to me.

John Pienaar’s piece to camera outside the Houses of Parliament on tonight’s news at 10 was photobombed by the Revoke Article 50 crowd. Standing with one placard either side of Mr P’s head, both of which were rotated at regular intervals to show the message on the other side.
I believe from earlier comments that exactly the same happened during the 6. It seems pretty clear it was arranged, otherwise why repeat the same mistake when another place could have been chosen for the broadcast. The way the man walked on, right on cue, suggested a high degree of collusion. And, as before, no attempt to zoom in to hide the placards.
As much as I dislike John McDonnell and Keir Starmer they are both intelligent men.I wonder how long it will take before they realise Labour will not get into power with Corbyn as leader.
