I had the same thought but he did mention terrorist attacks in other cities. He did not allude to the religions of victims or perpetrators of course.

  2. StewGreen says:

You can always check with Peter to see what’s happening in Sweden

  3. Fedup2 says:

Police accuse TR of bribing voters by giving away free food at a meeting – nice to see the hard pressed police so pedantic in law enforcement – I’m sure others will be treated equally by them .

I used to favour increasing police numbers – but now they just feel like PC repressers – for those their masters don’t like and jokes for those they support like eco yobs .

  4. Kaiser says:

The publication of highly expensive nonsense

    Gallup 2019 Global Emotions Report

Top 5 countries with highest positive experiences
    El Salvador

please BBC explain why so many people appear to be sneaking into the USA from these happy countries

George thinks anyone who has a counter view is ‘attacking’ those George agrees with. Don’t be like George. https://twitter.com/georgemonbiot/status/1121711748506116096?s=21

Not BBC but might make you chuckle. Its from a NZ newspaper that I discovered when look in my latest archives of NZ 1883:

  7. taffman says:

“RBS warns of Brexit uncertainty impact as profits fall”
Operative word “uncertainty”. The uncertainty caused not by Brexit but Mrs Chamberlain’ three year delay in carrying out the democratic wish of the people.
IMHO there are parties in this country happy to see our economy trashed if it stops Brexit .

  8. taffman says:

Al Beeb have not caught up yet, but I hear that our Cor Bin is declining to meet the President of The USA on his visit.
Yet he is happy to meet terrorists .
    Funny old world.

    • gb123 says:

If Mao is not prepared to do his job as leader of the opposition why is he being paid and given the protection of HM forces?

    • Fedup2 says:

Corbyns explanation for meeting terrorists was that he “needed to talk with people he disagreed with “

Strange that he should choose not to apply this to the Head of State of our biggest ally . Particularly since President Trump May well be in power for another 5 years – well beyond the “ use by date” of Comrade Corbyn …

      • taffman says:

A lot of Labour Constituency jobs will rely on our relationship with the USA post Brexit.
        Vote UKIP & Brext .

      • Banania says:

Perhaps he doesn’t disagree with him.

    • The WestWyvern says:

Does anyone know if there is a general email address for the White House?
I’m thinking we could all mobilise and send a general email stating that the silent majority in the UK are actually in favour of a full state visit by the President of the US and contrary to the view offered by lefty lame stream media, twitterati twats, political scumbags and various no-marks, he is most welcome here, and furthermore those of us with a modicum of decency understand and respect the contributions US forces made in two World Wars.

    • vesnadog says:

What an horrible man. How his shadow home secretary chose him is a puzzle.

  9. Luckyharry69 says:

Don’t know if any of you have monitored the Twitter storm and media hype over Question Time last night and John Rhys-Davis shouting at Lucas (which I found very amusing)?
I’m not a conspiracy theorist normally but I’m thinking perhaps the BBC knew in advance he might be a volatile type?…

    • taffman says:

Last night John Rhys-Davies spoke for the freedom loving, democratic people of Great Britain. I think Al Beeb thought he would be a liberal, ‘actor luvvie’ but they were caught with their pants down.
I doubt that he will have any contracts with them soon ?

      • Dystopian says:

Can you imagine the panic behind the scenes. I’m surprised they didn’t suddenly suffer from “technical difficulties”!

  10. The WestWyvern says:

16.oo news R2, managed to mentioned that MooSlimes have been told to stay away from Friday Prayers in Sri Lanka for fear of reprisal attacks.

Funny that last week those certain words were not used, but we had ‘Easter Worshippers’ and ‘Buildings’ targeted instead….

  11. taffman says:

Al Beeb’s favorite motto – “What do we know ? ”
    My answer – Nothing.

    • The WestWyvern says:

its true taff, but they do know how to:
      1. Virtue Signal
      2. Promote their own causes
      3. Target and smear those that don’t align with their views
      4. Use extortion and threats via a third party to obtain money
      5. Spread unproven ‘facts’ or to use another term – propaganda.

      • vesnadog says:

I a have lost all respect for every BBC employee as they must be quite satisfied working for a secular-gulag type of business otherwise they would have walked out of BBC HQ head quarters HQ, copy! long ago.

    Now ?

  14. fakenewswatcher says:

QT : Caroline Lucas – Green Party – lots to say, all bad news.
A demagogue, if you watch and listen to her carefully.
Mind you, lotsa Lefties sounding off….
    Lotsa Greenies in the audience.
And Vince has been invited to the Royal banquet, but isn’t going.
Wonder if he would if Xi were coming….

  15. Demon says:

Just thinking about this weather, reminded me of the Cabinet: all wind and water. In fact not so much April showers but May’s Shower.
