I don’t think this has been mentioned here, it certainly hasn’t been on the bBC. Not so sure it will be either, despite Brexit.

    https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sunday-life/bmw-owners-hit-by-blaze-risk-recall-hundreds-of-vehicles-in-northern-ireland-37942276.html

Hundreds of vehicles in Northern Ireland maybe, over a quarter of a million in Britain, an incredible 1.6 million worldwide! And these Teutonic twats have the cheek to threaten/ promise to pass the Brexit costs on to customers.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/business-44617157/the-uk-boss-of-bmw-says-a-no-deal-brexit-would-push-up-the-cost-of-its-cars

Not with a bargepole Herr Robertson.

Have a quick search on the bBC webshite for “BMW recall”, it’s a bit scary. Just what is their reputation based on exactly?

Our supine leader Mrs Chamberlain obeys.

Is this fire risk why BMW drivers don’t dare to use their indicators?

I think that you are being a bit unfair. Cooling the EGR valve is usual. My old 2003 Saab has one and Saab engineers were famous for being pernickity. it is bound to be a potential weak point as there is always a possibility of a component failure and the coolant leaking. I assume BMW are beefing it up somehow. I wonder how many other car makers have the same potential problem All of them I expect . In fact the EGR valve is part of the attempt to reduce exhaust pollution and strictly speaking an add on.

There is some dubious green shite on cars nowadays

some Honda’s have a valve post engine that draws fresh air into the exhaust to “water” down the end pipe emission levels with fresh air

just taking % emissions at end pipe during factory fresh testing as the be all and end all is ridiculous

Ha Ha BBC spit in my face , why don’t you
That Maitliss has a prog on BBC2
“Ten years on from the Parliamentary expenses scandal which rocked Westminster to the core, Emily Maitlis explores the profound impact it had on public trust in the political class.”
So I thought it would be about history
9:50pm I switch on ..it says “the public has lost faith in politicians ” ..and then their example is a PR thing called Extinction Rebellion ..we got a 3 minute promotion of them ..followed by a 20 second clip of the Leave Means Leave march in the mud.
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0003mtg

ah the full blurb also says
” this documentary also explores how the public anger surfaced by the expenses scandal anticipated the Brexit referendum and beyond.”

As ever the wacky BBC are good at making progs for THEIR own art student clique and crap at serving other people
It was the normal carefully WOVEN constructed-narratives, their annoying plinky plonk background music and “cool” gimmicks.

I note that in another short clip Leave protesters on College Green looked rowdy. Again it must have taken special editing to make the Extinction Rebellion guys not look rowdy.

The whole premise of the show was flawed ..making out division between politicians and people only happened cos of expenses
..em many hate Thatcher , many hate Blair ..and there are other things like failing to deal with child abusers etc. ..oh and Keith Vaz

Interesting if the Far Left State Briadcaster really does see a link between expenses and the Referendum vote . I would say the expenses fiasco was just ‘froth ‘ compared to the anger stored up leading to the Referendum vote .

As an aside anorak that I am – the parliamentary vote on traitor Letwins indicative vote was 329/302 which means they can have their indicative vote …

The BBC want you to know there was a:

“Row as Tory council leader’s suspension is lifted”

And because we must have equality of outcome, then since Labour are antisemitic, then the Conservatives must be “Islamaphobic” for “ballance”… as pointed out by Islamo-Labour:

“Labour said the Tories were in denial about Islamophobia in their ranks.”

    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-47699841

Of course perhaps he din’t like Islam because he didn’t like that Muhammad married six year old Aisha when he was 52, or that he owned Maria the Copt as an Infidel sex-slave…

Perhaps he objected to the fact that Muhammad force married Safiya the same day he had her husband tortured with molten metal to steal his gold, and genocided her tribe at Khybar, and beheaded six hundred prisoners.

Perhaps he thinks that incest is a bad idea, as in Muhammads example of marrying his cousin Zaynab, having the woman Asma-bint-Marwan murdered for writing insulting poems, and apostates killed when they fled after being made to drink camel urine…

Perhaps BBC he dislikes Islam because of these reason?

Of course the BBC know all about Muhammad… they just fancy a bit of child rape on their own turf.

The BBC and the Conservative Party are funded by tax payers.

Both the BBC and the Conservative Party have conspired to deny the tax payers their Democratic right as regards the Brexit referendum.

I hope that we will reach a real Brexit.

Otherwise, our memory will be long.

In a general election few of this Parliament will be returned. Does it matter to them? They have served the EU well and there should be around 500 safe and well paid jobs there for them. Plus travel, perks, and constant TV appearances as experts in whatever the BBC decides for them

I’m watching the votes on the Parliament channel . It’s strips out the dumbed down journo interpretation by beeboids and just leaves raw footage ,
Apart from having a speaker with a serious grandeur complex it say two things which a previous PM really screwed up

1 the referendum process – allowing it to be corrupted

2 the fixed term parliament act – meaning we are stuck with these people for bloody years without a chance to kick them out – irrespective of party . No wonder they voted for it , it means even doing one term as an MP looks great on the CV and if you play your cards right you might even get a gong or The Big One in the Lords …

There is a programme on the BBC called “Fleabag “ where someone called Sophie or phoebe or bee looks at the camera a lot and slags off the Catholic Church . The programme also features a defective catholic priest .

I was wondering what a series where fleabag fixed up with ‘ mo’ and she took the pee out of the local imam and mosque .

But the award winning script writer star didn’t go there did she ?

In 2016 when the Referendum had been won by Leave, (a long time ago it now seems), Farage predicted that a battle had been won but that there was a long war ahead against the Establishment.

    He was right.

But Farage failed to carry the democratic view all the way . 500 remainers and a corrupt speaker against 150 brexiters . How is that difficult to understand in relation to the current difficulties .

Interesting that the BBC used a menopausal bottle blond faux journo to lead the story of corrupt expenses .
