It is interesting non? The BBC is now raising its game and turning its big guns onto the ‘Far-Right’, or anyone remotely right-leaning it seems, whilst totally ignoring the Far-Left.

The BBC has always tried to portray the Yellow-Vests in France as Far-Right and yet their ideology seems to be more Left inspired than Right…they fight against globalisation, exploitation by Big Business and the political elites, and inequality.

Indeed here is Grace Blakely, Brexit supporter and ‘Hard-Left’ Corbyn supporter…

‘Financial Globalisation Has Been a Disaster. Brexit Gives Us a Chance to Resist It’
Any attempt to build a socialist government in the UK requires opposing global financial capital, the interests of which are protected by international institutions such as the EU.’

The BBC will normally tell you that anyone who uses such terms and resists ‘global finance and international capital’ is an anti-Semite because we know that all Jews are filthy rich and control the world…thus oppose globalisation and international finance and capitalism you are an anti-Semite….paradoxically reinforcing the anti-semitic message that Jews rule the world! You can’t criticise international finance because so many international financiers, like Soros, are Jewish thus you must be anti-Semitic if you use terms like global financiers etc.

Funny then how the BBC reports, or fails to…

Yellow-vest protests: Macron condemns anti-Semitic abuse

…and makes absolutely no mention of the ‘Far-Right’. The Yellow-Vests were making the same ‘protests’ that the likes of Corbyn and his fellow-travelers use about ‘Zionists’, Palestine and the Jews….

    ‘What insults did you hear?

I heard very badly but there were cries of hate, like “Finkie throw in the canal”, “dirty Zionist”, or insults related to Palestine. I was treated to people telling me “shut up”, recalling what I had shouted on a show. I did not hear “dirty Jew” ‘

Alain Finkielkraut is an Israel supporter and getting abuse for it. So very Labour Party these days.

Whilst the BBC makes no mention of the Far-Right, which is very, very unusual for the BBC, it also makes no mention of the Far-Left…maybe because this is what they were and the BBC wants to downplay left-wing anti-semitism…you can hear this narrative all the time on the BBC…only yesterday on al Beeb we heard that it was only the Far-Right that were causing the rise of anti-semitism in Europe…of course the importation of millions of Muslims and the rise of the Far-Left has nothing to do with it.

Paradox that the BBC’s ‘Far-Right’ Brexiteers and anti-globalisation leftists are on the same war-path for the same reasons and yet it is the Brexiteers who are labelled Far-Right..because one of their demands is a proper control of immigration and if they complain about the likes of Soros trying to buy Brexit they are labelled anti-smeites by the BBC for using the same language as the Left about globalisation and capitalism.

Macron is using the same tactic as the BBC…trying to demonize anyone who opposes him as racist because otherwise he would lose the argument.

Opposing the EU, Brexit and anti-globalisation is as much a Left-wing narrative as Right…and yet the BBC paints it in primary colours as a Far-Right narrative ignoring all the context and issues that go far beyond trade and jobs that really lie behind the vote to leave the EU…other than immigration of course.

Someone said the EU is a 1945 construct in a 2020 world . I always saw it as a left wing socialist model with a strong touch of RC attached to it .

Apart being undemocratic I think its chief fault is free movement of labour . Fine idea but wrong in practice when it is far easier to communicate and move than when first thought up .

And fails as the insanity one state just letting a million aliens in without agreement of the EU because the country – Germany – thinks it is the EU . A view with which I agree.

I just hope that when we are out of it others will give serious consideration to leaving too . And subsequently destroy the EU as currently configured and replace it with the ‘ never closer’ association of States

If the BBC favours it – it must be Far Left…

“Aboard his yacht Grille at Kiel he told (the minister) in May of his vision of a United States of Europe under German leadership. ‘Years, perhaps even decades of work toward that end,’ commented the minister in his diary. ‘But what an end!’”

Q: Who had this vision, and who was the minister?

(Hint: The man with the vision had only one ball, and the poor minister had none at all. )

So yes, an idea born out of socialist totalitarianism.

The BBC website is shot through, absolutely peppered, with anti-Brexit stories on just about every page. Yesterday we had George Parker from the pro-EU extremist rag the FT running Week in Westminster…it was anti-Brexit lie after lie…apparently the British economy is the worst in the EU…never mind Germany and France’s GDP fell more than ours did. He wheeled in has-been George Osborne, fellow pro-EU extremist running another media publication. Osborne was brought in to attack the government’s approach to China…naturally linked to Brexit as we want deals with China.

‘”You’ve got the defence secretary engaging in gunboat diplomacy of a quite old-fashioned kind.

“At the same time as the chancellor of the exchequer and the foreign secretary are going around saying they want a close economic partnership with China.

“Ultimately it’s the responsibility of Theresa May to sort this out. At the moment it looks all at sea.”‘

Osborne sneered at what he called ‘gunboat diplomacy’ and there was mocking of May saying we would have a golden age with China. Oddly not mentioned was that it was Osborne who first claimed this…..

‘”Let’s stick together and make a golden decade for both our countries.”‘

He totally brushed aside concerns about human rights abuses and the Chinese drive to increase, and flex, its military influence and power around the world not least by illegally building military bases on islands it doesn’t own…which is the reason Britain, and others, are sending ships to the area to project power in order to restrain China’s military ambitions. Entirely sensible and pragmatic…nothing to stop trade deals at the same time.

Ironically whilst refusing to answer any questions about China’s actions at the time he claimed this in an email…

‘ “We don’t see a choice between securing growth and investment and raising human rights issues. We do both consistently, and indeed I have done so in meetings here in China.”’

But now he does see a choice….it’s either pandering to the Chinese and turning a blind eye or ‘gunboat diplomacy’….can’t have trade as well a responsible criticism and restraint off China’s human rights and foreign policy.

Parker also wheeled in some pro-EU government minister who claimed to be the ‘moderate’ centre but every word seemed couched in fairly extremist terms as he maligned Brexiteers and Brexit….with absolutely no objection from Parker who gave him free-rein to say what he liked unchallenged.

An extremely one-sided, anti-Brexit take on the world from the BBC…how unusual.

Why do they bother? It can only be about power – just as the Democrats have conspired to carry out a coup against Trump.
The bbc is attempting a coup against the people of this country by attempting to usurp a democratic vote.
      Is that not criminal?
Will they attempt to overturn the next General Election result?
And yet the bbc are not even a political party, they are just a media organisation. It’s simply not good enough how those with the power simply keep turning a blind eye.

    • Roland Deschain says:

Come the next election the BBC and the rest of the media will continue to broadcast the pretence that the three (four in Scotland) main parties are arguing about any substantial differences.

More and more people can see that you’ll get broadly the same whichever of those parties is elected. If we want to make a difference we must agree a common strategy on who to vote for outside those parties, even where we may not fully agree with the agenda. Nothing will change for the better until the current parties are humbled, and we must risk unpredictable outcomes unless we would rather head in the same inexorable direction as at present.

Vermin like that deserve instant annihilation. Some Abdul, brother of two murdering camel jockeys, got knifed to death in Brighton. I wept for a long while and felt the awfulness of a lost life. He’s human too isn’t he? He deserves a life and a chance in spite of the Koran’s message of hatred? We must welcome back that poor Islamist girl and her issue. It was all a terrible mistake.
