Surely the time has come for a WRITTEN Constitution.

    • Richard Pinder says:

Looking at history we can guess what comes next.

The House of Commons appoints Dominic Grieve as Lord President of the Council of State. The Council of State takes over the Government and Civil Service from the Prime Minister. The Queen agrees to try and dissolve Parliament, but the Council of State refuses. The Council of State declares Parliament the supreme authority of the land, effectively making the Speaker John Bercow, Head of State. The Council of State ejects the ERG members and unites the Houses of Lords and Commons so as to strengthen the power of Parliament over the people. The Council of State then sends a “Humble Petition and Advice” to Mr Junker. Junker rejects the offer saying “I do not want to be King of England because it would look silly”. The Speaker therefore appoints Dominic Greave “Lord Unprotector of the United Kingdom, so as to protect European Union rule from being abolished”

      • Fedup2 says:

On your scenario is the factor missing that the Lord unprotector
Won’t have a New Model Army ? Unless you would cast the main stream media in that role .

        • Richard Pinder says:

I think this is the Coat of Arms of Greaves New Model EU Army.

          • Fedup2 says:

Richard – I think you left out the € sign which no double will feature as a reward for his noble assistance of selling out his country , party and over 17 million voters .

Twitter – at the moment – seems full of the coming confrontation between parliament and the people who grant it any semblance of legitimacy ..

      • taffman says:

        Richard Pinder
Somehow I don’t think HM Forces would be happy with that one?
How would this look ‘The Crown, her forces and the people VS – Parliament ?’

  2. BRISSLES says:

And so, Philips continues to drive and without a seat belt.
Lots of reporting about how ‘irascible’ he can be, and who will dare to tell him to pack up driving. Over the years there has been a lot of ‘affectionate’ reporting, about his wit, his humour, his no nonsense stance etc etc. and how he’s been the Queen’s strength and stay.

Honestly ? from my stand point he’s nothing but a bad tempered, certainly ill mannered and unfunny old man. His jokes in the past decades have been anything but rib ticklingly funny, and often cringingly embarrassing, but oh how those sycophants around him have dissolved into laughter. He expects deference and speaks to those who serve like surfs. Even his eldest son was scared to death of him in his early years. All that ‘don’t make a fuss’ attitude is fine and dandy, but more often than not said in a curt and abrupt manner, unwilling to take advice from those who know better than him, but refuses to admit it.
    Not a nice man.

    • Beltane says:

Progress of a sort Brissles. At least he has accepted the march of time and matured from a bad tempered, ill-mannered and unfunny young man to a bad tempered, ill-mannered and unfunny geriatric. His arrogance in the shooting field was once legend before arthritis drew a veil.

      • PeterT says:

I met the Duke and had a conversation with him many years ago when I was a lowly AB in the navy and I have to say he was courteous when he spoke to me, listened to what I had to say and seemed genuinely interested and respectful. Just my take on his manner.

        • Beltane says:

Of course there are examples of HRH behaving as you reveal PT, anyone has moments of humanity, but overall the man’s reputation – outside of sycophants and the Mail, on occasion – provides far too many illustrations for sour grapes to guide opinion.
The very fact that at 97 he drives without a seatbelt within 48 hours of a major crash is all the proof one should need of an overbearing ability to ignore sensible advice.

          • PeterT says:

…or maybe his behaviour is appropriate much of the time with an occasional lapse and show of temper – much like most of us. I understand he’s very popular with the palace staff and isn’t one for protocol. I know that some old hands in the navy who had served with him had a lot of time for him. He served with distinction in WW2. Anyway, as I said earlier, that’s my take on his personality.

  3. Roland Deschain says:

Apologies if this has already been posted, it’s not easy to check once the thread gets this long!

Once again, it appears the BBC, amongst other media, has jumped in where it thinks it can discredit Trump. However there seems to be plenty of evidence out there to show the story is a pile of poo.

You’d think they’d have learned after Buzzfeed’s fake news earlier in the week. At what point do Trump haters start to question what they are being fed? Never, it seems.

    • StewGreen says:

Yes, fuller video does seem to contradict the BBC libmom folktale
I already have this open in another tab
and it has a link to the full 2 hours (which I have not checked)

      • theisland says:

Just found this response from one of the students:

        • Oldspeaker says:

You just know something stinks if one of the students was African American and the bbc didn’t have him dead centre in the picture.
A positive to take from the incident is a group of young people have received an education of the nature of the media.

          • dazzer says:

I thought the boys acted respectful considering the man was banging a drum in his face for many minutes.

If he’d said something like, “Look matey, just get over the fact that we kicked your arses, assimilated the best bits of your culture – which wasn’t very much – and now have the vast majority of you living on white-man handouts whilst we stand from coast-to-coast as masters of the land” then maybe that would be rude, true but rude.

  4. StewGreen says:

Maajid starts up his outrage bus “stop screaming Nazi, don’t misuse words”
I notice he just said “the debate should calm down, both sides by using the word Nazi devalue it , yet the next breath he casually slings the smear label “white supremacist” at someone

“yesterday a white-supremacist called me a filthy P-word on Twitter”

Again thinking ‘is this true or partially a game of Chinese whispers ?’
#1 someone called him filthy : TRUE
#2 “The P-word” : Kind of, but not the direct way you’d think
..actually they wrote P***, which caused the twitter algorithm to reject Maajid’s complaint
(However that SomaliCarl account is now marked “suspended”)
#3 “White supremacist” ? See below
#4 Is there any special context ?
.. Ah yes Carl in his tweet claimed to be reacting to Maajid once again using the racially based term “whiteplaining”

    “white supremacist” ? Here’s Maajid’s logic
\\ This white supremacist account was previously “Earthling Carl” (banned) then “Jewish Carl” (banned) and now “Somali” Carl. //
.. So smearing someone with the label “white supremacist” is a big thing, and one needs big evidence for that
At first there is no direct evidence the Somali Carl account is white-supremacist.
People do say “Earthling Carl” is behind the account and that does seem likely
“Earthling Carl” does run a popular YouTube account which does call out LBC libmob preaching
I notice in October after Carl made a vid deconstructing Maajid, Maajid on air called him “White supremacist” and main reason for that was that in a call “Earthling Carl” opened by truthfully calling Maajid a “former terrorist”.
I’ve never seen Carl saying anything like “All white people are better” indeed I seem to recall that in other videos Carl has called out people on the right for going too far.
Of course since the SomaliCarl account has just been suspended we can’t check to see if it tweeted white supremacist stuff.

    • maxincony says:

Here are some of the delightful things “Earthling Carl” has posted on his gab account (asterisks mine):

      [Diane Abbott] – dumb monkey-in-a-wig

      [Michelle Obama] – tranny monkey

we now have to include fucking P*ki’s in Coronation Street

      Filthy hook-nosed P*ki Maajid Nawaz

      Stupid hook-nosed P*ki Maajid Nawaz

Never forget: the future of earth is infinity n*ggers

Two k*kes and the ultimate Shabbos goy have a chat

This guy is a filthy Jew

To be British you have to be white

      Ban Muslims

      Katie [Hopkins] supports the k*kes

[When we regain our Dominion, Mr. Nawaz will be one of the first garbage bags that we will throw out] – Amen to that

[we should leverage muslims more to call out the jew] – Totally agree

Does anyone actually care when they learn of a young black man killing another young black man? Surely it’s just a way of keeping the numbers down?

In the ethnostate Drill “music” will be banned, as will blacks

From “Earthling Carl’s” YouTube video; “RACE IQ Correlations are OFFENSIVE”:

Nope you [black people] actually are inferior”.

  5. StewGreen says:

    Stuchbery Vs James Goddard
Stuchbery reckons Goddard broke his bail conditions cos he tweeted image which show that Stuchbery’s address is visible on the Companies registry and electoral roll

Goddard replied he did it cos Stuchbery had done a thread doxxing Goddard’s girlfriend, naming her and alluding to the location
Of course it’s a thread full of hate
.. ironic since antifa bill themselves as the good guys. None of Stuchbey’s friends call him out
Of course the law rarely acts properly against antifa, so that tweet is still there.
Goddard’s tweet is no longer up.

  6. pugnazious says:

Just seen other earlier posts about this….still…if you haven’t read those here’s your chance….

Some absolute, and dangerous, rubbish from the BBC which clearly has made no effort to reflect what is really going on and merely spouts the leftist tripe about racism we get force fed us by the BBC…it’s yet more dangerous, racist propaganda from the BBC fabricating a false narrative about racist Trump supporters.

Video of US teenagers taunting Native American draws fire

‘Footage of a group of teenagers – many wearing Make America Great Again caps – taunting a Native American man in Washington DC has drawn criticism.

The teenagers, students at Kentucky’s Covington Catholic High School, are seen mocking Omaha elder Nathan Phillips as he sings and drums.

The students were taking part in an anti-abortion rally on Friday, while Mr Phillips, a Vietnam War veteran, came for an Indigenous Peoples’ March.’

None of that is true…they are not taunting the man at all and are not threatening him in any way. The BBC tells us ‘One boy, in particular, is captured staring at Mr Phillips while many other students are heard mockingly singing the song.’.

But the truth is that the drummer approached the boys and went right up to one and drummed right in his face…if anything he was doing the harassiing…the BBC later admits ‘In separate footage later shared on social media, Mr Phillips is seen approaching the boys as he sings. ‘. The boys around were in fact clapping and singing along with the drummer not ‘mocking’ the man. It was all pretty friendly…a lot better behaved than you might expect a whole group of teenage boys to behave….must be the Trump influence!

    Here’s the true story….

Yet more reverse racism and anti-Trump bigotry by the BBC…because the boys are mostly white and many are wearing Trump hats.

    • Roland Deschain says:

It’s still up there, with no correction I can see.

      Another complaint has gone in.

      • StewGreen says:

I think you can get stories corrected if you tweet directly to the journo.
However in this case it’s unbylined, cos it’s almost certainly just a cutNpaste from US media, so the BBC are unlikely to back down unless their source does.
Rebel or Tucker will have a debunk soon I guess
Tim Pool who is not a right debunks it in his Twitter thread

By searching Twitter on that URL and fake , I spot 20 tweets calling the BBC story FakeNews
This debunk pops up .. ** Very sweary **

“So, two hijacks, my dear Watson,” Sherlock said. “But the law only bothered to follow up one of them.” He sucked at his old, briar pipe.
“Of what hijacks do you speak?” I inquired of my friend.
“Why, of the exploding pizza van, of course, ” he replied. “That had the PSNI all over it.”
I desisted from asking about the case of the exploding pizza. “What is the other hijack to which you refer?”
He looked at me through a cloud of smoke. “Why, the very hijack of parliament,” he said. “A crime far worse: the theft of the dreams of freedom of an entire people, as well as the democracy they believed in up to now, but no sign of the law anywhere…”
“But surely parliament is the very reflection of the Rule of Law?” I protested.
Sherlock seemed -for a brief second- to smile, as if at my naivety.
“Not when the scoundrels sit at its very heart, my dear Watson. Not when there is corruption at the very core…”
“That would indeed be a Grievous and Major misdeed, if I May say so,” I replied. “I shall put pen to paper…”
“Do not,” my friend said sharply. “For thus far the media have been the biggest liars of all, in this matter.”

(Apologies, but you shall have to wait for the next chapter. Holmes appears to be opening a small Morocco case.)

  9. Thoughtful says:

Interesting program on Radio 4 about the ridiculous state of UK foreign aid, and continuing charity organisations paying for ‘orphanages’ in Africa.

It would be difficult for a politician to stop the money flowing to real orphanages, especially given the state of the lying MSM, yet it would appear that so much money is sloshing around this sector that ‘orphanages’ are more or less buying kids off families in order to stuff them into homes where they will be paid to ‘care’ for them.

Of course they don’t care for them with zero education and medical care, and the Ugandan government cannot close them down as fast as the UK will pay out to them.

It’s a racket, all about money with the kids taking second place to the greed, and ludicrous virtue signalling lefties who give money and then aren’t concerned with the consequences. I suppose it’s all we should expect post Oxfam (Jo Cox) and the far left lunacy which is allowed in these organisations, but remember next time you see an advert on TV to sponsor a child, that not only are they spending hundreds of thousands on advertising, but that they are actually ruining childrens lives with their do gooding

    Plus ca change?

I was on BREITBART and was amazed to see a very interesting story that should affect everyone – https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/01/20/no-worries-mate-australia-signs-agreement-to-secure-trade-with-post-brexit-britain/
I went to the BBC website and – no mention – not on the BBC Home Page, not on News front page, not on UK, not on World, not on Australia – I wonder where such an important announcement can be found on the taxpayer-funded ‘news’ website, as BREXIT looms??

    • Fedup2 says:

It would be a sad day for the BBC to frighten people with the notion that there might be life outside the ReichEU and happily back with our Commonwealth cousins – with whom we have far more in common than the traditional enemy – The French …

BBC1 now Country issues “Dan was born in a female body then at the age of eleven”
.”then he started to visit the care farm”
… ah that is the tendacious link to COUNTRYSIDE

    • StewGreen says:

Back to Dan (blue hair) “who has social and mental health issue, due to ..transgender”

Animals? at least all the vegans will have been triggered, I’m in glass half full mode today.

    • StewGreen says:

New presenter visited a Scottish grouse farm
“i couldn’t bring myself to shoot an animal, so i am shooting clay pigeons instead”
… FFS there is not exactly a shortage of grouse, not an endangered species.
The grouse she didn’t kill will probably be ripped apart by a fox or bird of prey within a month. They only have a 5 year total lifespan
They don’t live the next 20 years in tranquility

      • Fedup2 says:

Countryside equals blood and mud so I can’t watch countryfile .

I’m a heretic because i believe that if a human being kills an animal – eg a rabbit or pheasant which the human then eats – it makes one more conscious of the value of animal life when buying meat and fish wrapped in plastic .

  14. Cassandra says:

Stew, I couldn’t believe Countyfile! There was fat green haired Dan, the delinquent tranny teenager spouting off about the challenges ‘he’ faced; you could hear the PC boxes being ticked.

  15. Fedup2 says:

Gordon Brown has written a column for the Guardian suggesting some kind of Citizens Convention to sort brexit out . I didn’t read it other than the headline —— but the comments section ( yes there is one ) and the venom and ignorance the posters show is frightening .

Brexiters means fascist Far Right . God knows how that works . Boy are they deluded – poor ‘flakes .

  16. G.W.F. says:

Not directly BBC bias, but the subject, the far right, is never far from the BBC.
I follow in detail the machinations of the left and the right and am beginning to note an increasing number of splits within what the media call the far right, which is really, the anti- muslim movement.

What alerted me to post these two vids is a facebook vid doing the rounds where an EDL man complains that Tommy Robinson kidnapped this guy’s mother, held her for ransom, but was arrested. Cops let him go. Conclusion. Tommy secretly works for the cops.
Farfetched. Yes. But it indicates splits and hostilities.
Several young folk with promising conservative anti Sharia views have recently switched sides.
    Here is one

    • G.W.F. says:

Another from Lucy Brown, TRs right hand woman and former supporter.
Yesterday she was tweeting about the dangers of international connections of the far right, fascism and Steve Bannon.
Here she shows her break with TR

OK. My conclusion. Opinion leaders of the right are being won over to see good in Islam..

      • Fedup2 says:

I wonder what the going rate for that is ?

      • StewGreen says:

My notes show that Lucy always looked like a double agent
In it she says ”I left Black Lives Matter for the same reason”
and she also says she doesn’t know who TR alleged funder Stillman is
Andrew Gilligan drew on his Aug 5 Times article about Lucy Brown who was fired by TR after she betrayed him by inviting Ali Dawhal behind his back
AG quotes Lucy saying TR is about making lots of money
        The keyline CONTRADICTS that
“We’d be sleeping in the car and eating in service stations.”

      • vlad says:

I wonder who’s getting to them?

    • StewGreen says:

GWF AFAIK splits in Tommy support are not new, they date to before he was arrested in Leeds.
Everyone came together for the march for freedom, but Lucy invited Ali Dawhal behind TR’s back
TR fired her cos Ali has threaten his family before, some people thought TR was harsh.
Antifa always seem to be trying to blackmail people to leave.
And the way previous to that Ezra fell out with Caolan (photo’d above) a few months before that over claims that Caolan and boyfriend kept demanding more money and seeming to be threatening to blackmail.
Said to be the real reason TR left the Rebel
Not Caolan was with Tommy in Leeds, but was particularly weak, the kangaroo court happened rigt in front of him. It wasn’t until Ezra got involved that the legal appeal started.
Caolan has since proved himself by continuing to work within the exterior movement by still making films about the coverups of refugee crime etc.

Farage said he couldn’t support TR cos TR’s security man was once convicted of kidnapping ..I didn’t check that cos these stories have a habit of turning out to be weak
eg maybe the guy years ago didn’t give his own kids back to his estranged wife .and she got him charged with kidnapping etc.

    • Dystopian says:

The interviewer can’t get his head round the fact that Caolan doesn’t share his views on open borders just because he has changed his mind about Islam. It’s almost like he’s saying that he liked him until he said he opposed mass migration.
His conclusion is that Caolan must be angry and radicalised.

Employment Judge Goodman ruled: ‘The fourth claimant (Kevill) was unfairly dismissed. Any compensation for unfair dismissal is reduced by 100% for conduct.

The other claimants who received judgement in their favour but did not make such remarks received a paltry 3 weeks wages.

The left liberal BBC broadcasts anti-Trump propaganda 24/7, and one could argue that it interferes in US politics. Whilst the state funded BBC has editorial freedom, perhaps it too like the Russian RT broadcaster should register as a foreign agent?

Back in 2017 RT Published a headline saying Flynn had ‘retired’, 14 Feb 2017 04:14, which was edited with the correction at 05:53.

The BBC had the hyprocricy to write this about RT –

//Misleading headlines are only one part of RT’s approach to news, which makes the American government and analysts believe it is just an arm of the Kremlin//

    (ctd from previous…)
Having partaken of his 7% solution, Holmes was away for a while, affording me the opportunity to ponder the ‘Case of the Two Hijacks’, as I now feel compelled to record this matter.
A trip to Londonderry to investigate the exploding pizza van seemed unlikely. It appeared to me that the mind of my old friend had been rather more preoccupied with the hijack of parliament.
This he confirmed by suddenly sitting bolt-upright on the couch. “Parliament Watson!” he shouted, “We need to move, and move quickly!” Astonished at this unexpected recovery, I inquired as to his intentions.
“We’re off to see Inspector von Richthofen,” he declared, donning his coat. “He is charged with security at parliament. If anyone knows who is behind its hijack, it is he.”
I was baffled, and had to muster all my courage to ask: “von Richthofen? That is not an … er …very English name..?”
Holmes gave me one of his piercing stares. “Elementary, my dear Watson. No one who is truly English, would want to hijack parliament.” His teeth clenched around the stem of his old briar pipe.
    “Traitors?” I managed to whisper.
He ignored my query. “We are dealing with very devious minds, Watson. Minds willing to usurp the Will of the People just like that!” He snapped his fingers. “Minds happy to sow endless discord in the nation, to satisfy their own selfish lust for power. Minds convinced we have already forgotten…”
    “Treachery?” I Starmered.
He nodded. “They desire only to prance about on TV, showing off…”
“Surely that has not been invented yet!” I objected.
“You think a little thing like that would put them off?” he demanded. “You have no idea..”
