Start the Week Open Thread 14 January 2019

So this is the week that the can stops being kicked down the road . It will be difficult for the BBC to spin events without looking wholly biased to the general public and not just users of this and similar blogs .

My tip – buy popcorn and wear a seat belt.

Clearly Jez is just ‘thinking out loud’, but the combination of those thoughts and the imagery selected in complement seems, Oh, I don’t know… a bit tricky to defend.

Hateful, even, as some may perceive it.

Do we need a minimum IQ for voters. I would say yes . How can we have people who are not fit to do nothing but gabble, be allowed to change the direction of a country.

Well it seems that although racism is the worst sin there is- ageism is no problem at all.

Killing off parts of the population that are considered weak and burdensome. How very NAZI. But I won’t mention that to Anna Sourface.

I think there should be a maximum age for voters.
      150.

Those voters still entitled to vote by reasons of age (>150 years since birth) but unable to vote by reason of death, should have a proxy vote.

Elderly people currently alive are best placed to assess how the dead, but entitled to vote, would have voted.
The elderly must therefore be given the arduous task of casting these proxy votes.

Had this sensible, necessary and progressive measure been available on 201-06-23 Leave would have won the referendum by 70,000,000 votes.

It seems the liberal indoctrination is as bad in Germany as here. I stumbled upon a film on Netflix about a woman who loses her family in a terrorist bomb blast. Guess who the terrorists are: yep, neo-Nazis.

    • fakenewswatcher says:

vlad -Nazis are a bit scary, but who are they really, mindsetwise? Forget swastikas and all that jazz from the past. Nazis were national Socialists. ‘national’ is the adjective. ‘Socialist’ is the noun. The socialist mindset is still around. But they have morphed into internationalist socialists. Look there for well-disguised neo-nazis.
Fiona Bruce, PC all the way, forgot that when she went Nazi-hunting in the art world on BbC4 this evening.
When Trump says he is a nationalist, there is no relationship at all to socialism. Typical of some media types to twist things and call him a Nazi.
No, the (internationalist) socialist mindset of today is elsewhere. Doesn’t like borders, all of a sudden. But is still as keen on ultimate takeover as ever. In Germany we have the many year old iron rule of the CDU/SPD coalition. Try getting past that lot, and their faithful media. Try opposing THEM…

Some time ago, when Britain had genuine freedom of speech, it was a time of the greatest free thinkers in all history. Britain produced a stream of thinkers of such vitality and originality, they changed the world for good and for good. In engineering, mathematics, Physics, medicine, economic etc etc . No end. Radio, TV, computers, the list goes on.

    And now

Sir Tim Hunt ‘to leave Britain for Japan’ after sexism row
Nobel Prize-winning scientist forced to quit after storm of criticism over so-called ‘trouble with girls’ speech reportedly plans to move to Japan with wife.

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/science/science-news/12057365/Sir-Tim-Hunt-to-leave-Britain-for-Japan-after-sexism-row.html

This carnage brought about by weak minded leftist fascists, while the upholders of freedom of speech – MPs, PM and parliament, siding with the anti-freedom fascists, even unto using the police to shut down free speech on specious grounds. If Prof Hunt had said what he said now, you can bet some MP would be calling for his arrest, and the police would oblige. So its good for Prof Hunt that he is out of Europe.

No wonder Britain is a shadow of what it was post WWII, a subject of pity for the rest of the world.

The Prime Minister’s chances of getting her Brexit deal through Parliament have suffered another blow, as one of her own whips resigns his post to vote against it.
Gareth Johnson, the Brexit-supporting Member of Parliament for Dartford, has abandoned the May administration on the eve of the so-called “meaningful vote” on whether or not to accept the terms the EU has offered the Prime Minister, having struggled to “reconcile my duties as a Whip to assist the Government to implement the European Withdrawal Agreement, with my own personal objections to the agreement.”

The Tory MP is evidently unimpressed by the “clarifications” on the “backstop” arrangement included in the deal, which would see Great Britain locked into an ad hoc customs union for goods with the European Union, controlled by the bloc, and the British province of Northern Ireland essentially annexed to the EU Customs Union proper.

I am in the process of writing a book, called “Headlines made easy for journalists with the Brain-dead, Brian-washed Condition”.

What you do, is you ask an absurd question with no factual basis…

For example you might ask Theresa May if she has ever had sex with a horse, or the Queen if she ever snorted cocaine while wanking off Prince Charles, or Donald Trump if he ever paid prostitutes to urinate on him in Russia…

Then when they deny it, you write headlines like this:

“Theresa May denies having sex with horse”
“Queen denies snorting coke while wanking off son”
“Trump denies paying prostitutes to urinate on him for golden showers”

But then i found that the BBC, already beat me to it with

“Trump denies he ever worked for Russia”

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-46867932

This fits the technique in my book perfectly… they have no recordings, no documents, no transcripts, no witnesses, no photos… but ask the question anyway and generate a headline, fabricated from thin air.

However i suspect that the BBC, in league with Russia have stolen the ideas from my book… can it really be a coincidence that the BBC would make something this ridiculous up?

Its not like they would report on Trump paying for prostitute urination either…

      • Fedup2 says:

I wondered what the bail conditions were . But it seems the police added a ‘racially aggravated allegation ‘ to the Soubry one because he said at the time of arrest ‘you’re not even british’ to a Lithuanian copper .

He cannot enter the area within the m25, he can’t visit the Soubry constituency or contact her ( obvious) has to report to police x2 a week and there is a residence condition .

This is tough stuff and shows how the state can use the law as a political weapon . Other stuff is going on but I think this shows that when people call about Britain being a ‘free country ‘ – it isn’t .

The state will take its time deciding whether to prosecute this fella in order to shut him up. In our current world I am surprised You tube hasn’t taken his post down yet …

The BBC has ignored this case from the time that it filmed Soubry receiving some of the words she has rolled out over the last 2 years .

@G.W.F. about you being censored by Spiked
Yes I listened to Spiked’s Ben Slater and he behaved like Rod Liddle did ..not Red Pilled
The liberals are supposed to understand that equality means treating people as individuals and that you can’t go around saying
“Yeh all them BLACKS, I’ve never met, they are THICK”
.. yet the they then throw out
“Yeh all them PURPLESKINs, I’ve never met, they are FAR-RIGHT thick/racist/nazi/thugs”
FFS any one who uses the F-R smear word uses it like a deep-south bigot uses the N-word

But they just don’t know any better they live in their Guardian BBC Ghetto and have never been in the middle of a Ukip or Tommy march or watched the livestreams
Their offices must be like a Labour Student Union office

Though Spiked/Liddle/Guido are not in the libmob they also grew up in that Guardian/BBC-bubble and just take it for granted that over there there really is a crowd of frothing racist thugs,
… cos it can’t possibly true that the MSM establishment have told such a big lie.

In the Spiked podcast Minute5 to min7 Tom Slater dismisses James Goddard making some very big claims against him WITHOUT the big evidence
    TS says

by all accounts seemingly xenophobic scumbag
the first thing this profile says ‘free speech’ but then he uses quite liberal use of the hashtag #banIslam
…so that tells you something about their commitment to freedom

I checked ..Not true ..no one uses that hashtag #BanIslam on Gab ..it does not come up on a search

JG’s profile actually says something longer
“I oppose Islam and everything that it stands for, as long as Islam exists in the West, there will never be peace.”
I have just transcribed TS’s bit about JG , but it’s a bit too long to post right now.

Or at the Party Conference when she bows out to great applause from Leavers and grudging applause from Remainers?

I wonder if I can style myself as a ‘community’ leader and get a slot on the BBC my thoughts? We are not talking about hurt feelings/hate crime here but an absolute terror of suffering physical harm. Am I ‘Far right’ for not wanting to be butchered?

We got a good fortnight of phone-ins etc about racism based on a single misheard insult to a multi millionaire footballer (Sterling called a ‘Manc’ c**t rather than a black c**t.). I am not rich man and I am not mishearing anything – this extreme violence is very real. Surely in this basis the BBC should give me a good month or so to vent my anger at our glorious capital being turned into a war zone?

The BBC still shilling like mad against No-Deal. That must therefore be the one to have.

I’m tempted to go into BBC R4 News Purdah today.

6 am: News – a glimmer of hope BBC reports that amendments to the Bill for the PM’s Deal have been pulled. Has a miracle or some miracles happened? No notes of despair in Beeboid voices, though. Martha is going to have to shiver on College Green all day, no doubt with one of those jet engine furnace heaters creating lots of Global Warming and Climate Change in this mild January.

8am: News – gloom in the Snuffy household. Hints that Amendments are still coming in. Not sure what time John Bercow makes his final decision as Speaker on the Amendments allowed. Will he attend Prayers? https://www.parliament.uk/about/how/business/prayers/

However, immediately prior to that a slightly revealing interview with der Starmer who sounds a little gloomy. Martha does a non-inert-view and actually tries to push him on whether Labour would go for a tie-up with the EU via a Customs Deal or Norway style arrangement. Three attempts by Martha but der Starmer only mentions a General Election and quotes a Labour Leaver.

Thinks: have Labour Leavers been playing a very wise, a very clever, game? Keeping very quiet, being very patient, being very resolute and only popping up at the last minute to say to der Starmer “We want OUT. When do we want it? Now! (well, on 29th March).”

There was also a revealing inert-view with Herman van Rompuy. Martha did ask a few questions, one about what the Belgians thinks about a No-Deal Brexit. HvR is, I think, dishonest in his answer. The Belgians will love it when you think about it. Martha goes all inert like a bee in very cold, pollen-less, weather. Mr vRompuy really needed a challenge on that point.

Should there be any No-Deal Brexit chaos in Kent and Calais, who will benefit? Belgium and The Netherlands, of course. Their ports and airports may well see extra business. Extra business may well equal extra jobs. When people get work and can earn money then they become a lot happier and content. Brussels/Strasbourg and member State Parliaments please note.

Schedule of business appears to be: https://services.parliament.uk/Calendar/Commons/WestminsterHall/2019/01/15/events.html#!/Calendar/Commons/MainChamber/2019/1/15

Pondering my purdah now. The quiet is very pleasant. I may even skip reading posts on here. Ummmhhh … difficult choices ….
…. except No-Deal. Bring that on. Let’s tackle it head-on on the morning of 30 March 2019.

Sittings in both Houses begin with prayers. (Since mid-16th century, please note.) These follow the Christian faith and there is currently no multi-faith element. Attendance is voluntary.

    House of Commons

The Speaker’s Chaplain usually reads the prayers. The form of the main prayer is as follows:

“Lord, the God of righteousness and truth, grant to our Queen and her government, to Members of Parliament and all in positions of responsibility, the guidance of your Spirit. May they never lead the nation wrongly through love of power, desire to please, or unworthy ideals but laying aside all private interests and prejudices keep in mind their responsibility to seek to improve the condition of all mankind; so may your kingdom come and your name be hallowed.

Do you remember when Martin would explain to Jeremy Vine over and over how a student loan wasn’t a loan like a mortgage because most would never have to pay it all back?

And then Jeremy Vine would pick up his agenda script and tell us again what a burden these loans would be, as if he hadn’t heard a word that Martin had said.

Well, chaps (and ‘chapesses’), today’s the day for Treason May’s so-called, “Deal” with the EU to be voted upon. Just over 331,000 on the Petition which should be message enough.
Day started on a down note. There are instances where you feel the World is closing in on you. My wood burner is now suspect and Toady explored that further with an, “expert”. The “expert” informed the listener that scented candles are equally suspect and should be banned. It seems, he told us, that the dangerous chemicals given off are the same as what is in furniture, white goods, carpets and most everthing in the average home, unless of course you live in a cave.
Solution? We really ought to ban everthing in accordance with the Holy Grail of air pollution/climate change. That’ll fix it.

Lol…apparently, according to Nick Robinson, Dominic Grieve and Oliver Letwin are not against Brexit and it is a smear to suggest they are….Robinson smacked down Gove with this claim. A complete lie by Robinson. Grieve has worked assiduously in front of and behind the scenes to stop Brexit and with Letwin, both Remainers of course, has been part of the plot to hijack government so that Remain could take over and push its own agenda of, er, Remain…they fully expect the vote to fail and thus they know their votes for it will not stop the deal being voted down and thus they vote for it for the cameras, to look like they are not scheming saboteurs, mere cover for their real intent and to give themselves a sheen of integrity…a sheen that is entirely transparent and which will wear off as soon as the vote is seen to have gone against May’s deal. Not a smear, just cold, hard fact.

Funny old world. Has Nick Robinson ever heard of the separation of legislature, executive and judiciary? You know, the separation of powers to ensure there is accountability, no corruption and no abuse of power. It’s curious that as Remainer MPs in the legislature hijack the democratic process and move to take executive powers for themselves, sidelining an elected government and essentially appointing themselves as the government, there are no BBC comparisons to the 1930’s as they are usually so prone to do in relation to Leave voting ‘nazis’ and Brexit…Surely, if nothing else, this is more akin to the rise of Hitler than a Leave voter voting to Leave the oppressive and undemocratic EU if the BBC are so keen on that analogy. Seems not for some reason.

Had to laugh this morning as Robinson interviewed Gove who inconveniently wanted to give rounded and full answers to questions and give context and coherence to the issues….Robinson only wanted yes/no answers that he could shoot down and quibble about and challenge with his own smart answers and then come to his own conclusion (and why do we always have that really annoying BBC trick of interviewing someone and then bringing in another BBC journo to comment on the interview and interpret it for us…surely a sign that the interviewer has failed no? Most egregiously of course when Peter Lilley was ‘fact-checked’ to his face as he sat in the studio…incompetently ‘fact-checked’ as well…BBC fake news lol.)

Robinson got a bit narked that Gove was answering questions…usually the other way around getting annoyed at avoiding the questions…but then I suppose if you have an anti-Brexit agenda pushing the Remain plotter’s coup then you don’t want full disclosure of events.

Surprising, or not, that there is a complete lack of anger, outrage or shock at the attempt to take government powers for themselves by a small group of MPs, something that has huge constituional ramifications as to how government then works…can any group of MPs arbitrarilly decide it is up to them to formulate government policy and for themselves to implement it? Similarly no shock or condemnation of Corbyn’s cynical push to get himself into No10 by voting down any, absolutely any, deal that May cobbles together…never mind the historic and momentous implications of Brexit. The BBC has told us that Brexit is one of, if not the, most important, historic and momentous events in our history, one that will have repercussions and consequences that will effect major changes upon our nation and our lives…and yet when Corbyn decides that his own greed, his own lust for power is more important the BBC doesn’t notiice at all. However when Brexiteers try to engineer a no-confidence vote in May in order to implement a proper Brexit and do as instructed by the voters it is a constitutional crisis that destroys democracy, that is creating unnecessary instability and uncertainty at a crucial time in our politics. Oddly that doesn’t stop the BBC constantly asking if May is going to resign.

Where is Kenneth Clarke who expounded so, er, sagely upon the no-confidence vote at the time telling us how selfish and stupid it all was? When Remain MP’s mount a coup not only to depose May but to depose the government and in all likelihood force a general election, when Labour is voting solely to put Corbyn in No10 careless of the national interest where is Clarke? Seems he only comes out when he wants to throw a spanner in the Brexit works and is entirely unconcerned about the national interest or constitutional gerrymandering by Remainers.

Maybe the BBC has lost his number.

It is laughable that the plotters and saboteurs should claim that they are mounting their coup because May has failed to come up with a workable deal acceptable to everyone, or at least a majority.

It is they, Remain plotters and schemers, who have done everything in their power to delay, thwart and stop Brexit, who have brought us to this impasse…they have no intention whatsoever of voting for anything that remotely resembles Brexit. May stitched together a compromise deal because she herself is a Remainer and she wanted to make Brexit ‘acceptable’ to other Remainers….how did she do this? By producing a Brexit was nothing like Brexit, indeed a deal so bad that even Remainers couldn’t accept it as it left us entirely at the mercy of the EU….in the EU but with no influence or power to trade freely with the rest of the world as the EU slips in terms and conditions to make sure we aren’t competitive. May accepted the Backstop despite this being an obvious device that the EU and the Irish engineered to lever their own interests…a ploy that happily coincided with May’s interests who went along with the Backstop despite it not being necessary at all…it now becoming the key issue that all negotiations hung upon allowing May to stay in the customs union by claiming essentially it was necessary to stop war in NI….the BBC more than happy to play along and use the threat of terrorism as a negotiating ploy and justification for the sell out.

The BBC has always pushed an anti-Brexit narrative…during the referendum and after as they tried to claim the vote was illegitimate and won by various tricks and chicanery [Cambrdge Analytica had nothing whatever to do with Brexit…but you won’t hear the BBC admitting the huge lie they helped foster about that], then pushing ‘soft Brexit’ as opposed to the ‘extreme, hardline Brexit’, then pushing for a so-called ‘meaningful vote’ and Parliamentary oversight and interference, then pushing the idea that the only option was a disastrous crashing out over a cliff-edge or a second ‘People’s’ vote, now the BBC narrative is that no-deal is totally wrong, unacceptable and impossible and that the absolutely only option is a second vote. Naturally this had been what the Remainers have been trying to engineer for the last two years. Going back to Robinson’s ‘keen Brexiteers’, Grieve and Letwin, the reason they all voted for Art. 50 and kept going along with the charade of implementing the referendum result was that they knew that at the last moment they would chuck an enormous spanner in the works and bring it all to a massive grinding halt and cause a huge crisis that would mean Brexit would have to be delayed with no time to renegotiate or work out another solution…and then quietly shelved.

The BBC just doesn’t ‘notice’ any of this. It makes no comment at all about the obvious Remain confidence trick that has been pulled to fool the British voters who want to leave the EU….of course the Public know exactly what is going on no matter that the BBC tries to cover it up and smooth things over.

The irony is that if May had actually implemented ‘Brexit’ she would have had no problems with the Backstop and probably been able to keep the majority of her party on-board. Implementing Brexit would mean being out of the single market and customs union and thus not having to go cap in hand to the EU for favours putting her at their mercy….the EU would have had no leverage to use because May only agreed to the Backstop in order to get single market and customs union ‘concessions’. You can see her own trickery as she claimed the EU had ‘blinked’ as it offered the chance for the whole of the UK to stay in a customs union thus ‘solving’ the issue of NI being treated differently…however of course NI is still to be treated differently as part of the EU and the EU is delighted to have the UK still in its customs union grasp….limiting the UK’s ability to trade overseas and compete with the EU. A great win for May. Or as Trump said…a great deal for the EU….to which the BBC naturally rushed out a denial and an attack on Trump.

May would have had the massive and powerful lever of a no-deal threat, a no-deal taking the UK completely out of the EU’s grasp and the flow of UK gold into EU coffers stopped, and the enticement of the £39 billion but she gave up the no-deal cudgel (the BBC playing no small part in the portrayal of no-deal as completely unacceptable and something that just should not be contemplated at all) and she agreed to hand over the £39 billion for nothing concrete or substantial. Just why would the EU bother to compromise its stance at all when the British surrendered so easily?

If May had produced a proper Brexit deal she would have had the Brexiteers and the DUP on her side, the Remainers, the extremist Soubry et al aside, would have voted for it in party and national interest and many Labour MP’s would also have voted for it.

May has completely cocked this up by her desire to produce a soft Brexit, which wasn’t on the ballot paper, but has managed to produce something unacceptable to Brexiteers, unacceptable to sensible Remainers and something that would never be signed up to by the hardline Remainers who, like Corbyn, would vote down whatever deal May produced or try and manipulate things so that their own agenda was furthered as is happening now as the like sof Grieve, Letwin and Morgan say they will vote for May’s deal, thus trying to present themselves not as wreckers, whilst in actuality working hard to wreck things and to take over ‘Brexit’ in order to stop it.

But maybe I’m just smearing them with this attack on their honourable and principled stand as they put aside their own interests in the interest of the nation….lol. Which ‘nation’ though? The EU Superstate? Collaborating and working to ensure a foreign state has power over Britain in direct opposition to what the British Public instructed them to do in one of the most democratic votes with the biggest turnout in history….might that not be classed as treason and betrayal?

Will the BBC ask that tricky question? Will it like the answer?

The BBC must be delighted with the way things have worked out…Brexit on the ropes and a possibility of Corbyn, Labour, in power.

pug -well done! May is manipulative and deceitful, trying the old ‘divide and rule’: playing off ‘no dealers’ v. ‘no Brexiteers’ (also ‘second referendum’ v. ‘election’) to get her ‘deal’ through.
But she doesn’t have Merkel’s backroom skills or Merkel’s scheming abilities, though she has learnt a lot from her. Merkel would never have exposed herself like May. merkel would have roped in the Remainers long ago, and had a quiet chat…
And the Bundestag doesn’t have a Bercow to deceive members, although his latest performances outdid those of Goebbels in the days of Reich.
The present Bundestag is also more of one mind than parliament in London. it -unlike the UK where UKIP is sadly absent-has a small opposition, the AfD, which is constantly trying to muzzle.Had we such a group in parliament to speak a few home truths, instead of various constellations of brexit reversers, things might have been different.

john- this requires our leadership to stand up and be counted, and they won’t.
Beeb reported this week that president Cyril Ramaphosa told a vast stadium of supporters at the ANC manifesto launch in the SA elections, that rape had got totally out of hand in the country. 40,000 cases reported last year, if I remember correctly, according to beeb. They could report it cos it was a black ANC leader who said it.
He called it ‘gender violence against women’ and it included abuse, assault and murder.
This, the chanting, enthusiastic, loyal crowd weren’t expecting.
He asked all men to rise to their feet and commit themselves to not do anything like that.
Can you imagine that happening in Britain, where appropriate?
Or someone at the top – be it cabinet or mayors, calling out knife-crime and drugs?
Naw, couldn’t do it. ‘Racism’ prevents. Pretend it’s all about Brexit.
I commend Cyril Ramaphosa. We know he’s got other nasties up his sleeve, but -on this- he wasn’t found wanting.

Correction, BBC now pretends to be concerned, after not reporting this mass abuse for many years.

Heard Beeb favourite and PC former ‘Conservative’ MP, Matthew Parris, on the R4 news this lunchtime.
Said he felt ‘closer’ to Yvonne Cooper than his former Cons colleagues, on the Brexit issue.
Well, we would never have guessed!

£240m actually seems like only a medium size factory, probably just assembly

Once we stop buying VWs, Renaults and Fiats Toyota will have to run the line 24/7 just for the British market.

I wonder how the BBC will spin that?

When remoaners say we leavers voted on many different reasons to leave (immigration, trade, money and so on) can’t they see that it’s a poor argument to use for a second referendum.
All it shows is there are many reasons people want to leave.
It shows there are lots of things wrong with the eu.

I’ve not heard lists of reasons for staying in the eu.
    Probably because there are none.

Anyway, it doesn’t really matter anymore because, according to remoaners, all life ends on 30 March (and anyone left alive will get no medical help as the eu will stop all medical supplies which couldn’t get here as all aircraft will cease to fly)
Oh, I almost forgot, no lavvy paper either (so, at least the guardian will have a use for once)

I wonder how enlightening it would be if we caught sight of the most vociferous Remoaners Bank accounts. What is their net worth now, for example compared to say pre-Maastricht?

Earlier today I mentioned in a reply, the iron grip of the CDU/SPD in Germany.
They have a “Verfassungsschutz” – ‘Constitutional Guard’ directly translated, a sort of Mi5.
New development for anyone who thought I was exaggerating: Until recently their boss was a certain Mr Maassen. But he wasn’t playing the game on behalf of his political masters. He refused to say that threats against the state were being posed by the AfD.
So Merkel & Co got him fired on a pretext, and moved him elsewhere. Honecker’s babe, who morphed into Kohl’s babe in a mysterious fashion, then stabbed the latter in the back in order to take over, shows her affection for the original master. Probably her photo of Walter Ulbricht on her bedside table, can now be framed in gilt.
Just read that the AfD has now been declared suspect, and that the path to having the party watched as a threat to the state has been opened. All part of the “Kampf gegen Rechts” – the battle against the Right.
So, we move a step closer to the Guardians of the Constitution morphing into the Stasi of the old GDR. Gotta protect the Leftists in power.
See what I meant about an ‘iron grip’?
Now, I invite you to work out how all this is related to Ms May’s Brexit ‘deal’, requests for a second referendum etc. (Of course, over here we would never arrest anyone for political reasons, that’s clear…)
    Shouldn’t be difficult.

Via Bradford local paper: “Councillor call for more work to identify why disproportionately high number of grooming suspects are from Pakistani community.”

Everyone passing the buck as it’s still a total mystery — the council, the police and even the Bradford Safeguarding Children Board are all still scratching their heads: “We do work with specific communities in some cases, including work with young British Pakistani men. I can’t answer that question on behalf of the perpetrators. It could be money, gratification, opportunity, many different reasons.”

I wonder if any other of the Bradford East Area Committee councillors might be able to help Councillor David Ward out, maybe they have some specialised knowledge?
