Next week it will be trickled through local newspapers that it was just a drunk.

\\ Correction! A glass counter shattered in the food court and LOTS of people panicked,

What this does demonstrate is the ease with which group hysteria can be triggered by fear of what is now an every day event in big cities .

Obviously the absence of visible law enforcement doesn’t help but it seems that the very few police left now are busily sexually harassing each other or members of jo or Josephine public ( according to the paper of record The Guardian ) .

It’s a bit personal because I had made an appointment to go to the Apple shop there today but had a touch of the seconds because I wondered about safety today . So I didn’t go .

As I say here a few times – for Londonistan it’s the new normal .

I treat all the descriptions of terror activity, knife attacks, car rammings initially with suspicion. People are failing to persuade the police to listen, both the MSM and local media are well skilled in finding alternative explanations.
Sure there are non terror explanations, but they need to be well established. I don’t see that.

..There is a Daily Mail video, but it has no telephoto so al it is, is a dot that could be a bird or something .
This BBC vid looks to be the same footage

Being the owner of a very expensive pilots’ licence I was trying to work out where Air Traffic Control fits into this . There is a great big tower at Gatwick with people paid to look out of it . Either they saw drones or they didn’t –

The press today was reporting that Sussex police have been replaced as main investigator – mainly it seems – because of apparent competency .

The real issue is about the lack of preparation for the inevitable threat to aviation which drones pose , the lack of licensing regulation and control of sales . Compared to what could happen if a drone flies into a jet engine to the delay of 2 or 3 hundred thousand people – this is a serious business which can’t be forgotten .

Has anyone suggested that the object might not be a drone, but that the high level of investigation by experts and the like together with grounding the planes, might suggest something else?

In 2016 when Hillary was falling over the BBC creative photography was in top gear.
BBC response, when the physical health of the mass rape concealer* could not be denied, was to point in the Saint Donald direction and mew “he’s even older”.

It is nice to see Saint Donald demonstrating the fitness of someone decades younger, it bodes well for 2020 when the Democrats, I hope will have their noses rubbed in it, again.

        *
Some alleged rapes, which “happened” 20 years ago, in the USA, without any witnesses, without any of them being reported to the police, when the alleged victims are hard left bints, are BBC headlines for weeks.

The BBC then puts the “alleged” in the waste bin, files the “rape” stories and drags them out whenever convenient.

Contrast this with the denial and cover up of mass child gang rape continuing to this day in Europe.

        Sickening.

I had a very enjoyable 2 1/2 hours with BBC 2 this evening, watching Dad’s Army and Morcambe & Wise. Then I made the mistake of switching to BBC 1 for the first episode of the Agatha Christie Poirot – The ABC Murders. The attraction was Joihn Malkovich as Poirot. He was good, but had no chance to shine against a productioon that was slow, full of “artistic” shots that did nothing for the plot, and was essentially boring.

I stayed with it until 10pm, but then,as a reminder of how good TV adaptations of Poirot can be, I watched David Suchet in ITV’s version of the same plot. That one was entertaining.

There’s been a lot of complaint and unfair comparison between Malkovitch and Suchet, especially among the twittering. For all Suchet’s undoubted abilities, at least Malkovitch sported a realistic beard, not a liquorice slug under his nose.
It’s just about as rational as saying Margaret Rutherford was the only actress capable of portraying Miss Marple, so Joan Hickson and Geraldine McKewan shouldn’t have bothered.

The best comparison I can come up with is Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes. He was superb and with a good script, such as Hound of the Baskervilles, he was Holmes. His problem was that in almost every other one of his Holmes films he had a poor script and sub-standard production. Malkovich has the same problems.

        I didn’t bother with tonight’s episode.

TWatO Watch #2 – additional & delayed from yesterday.

The programme appeared to investigate the plight of Christians, being driven out of where they live in the Middle East. In the intro to the item, Israel was included as one of the guilty nations along with, for example, Iraq and Gaza.

My FakeNews & FalseFacts Alarm rang at that moment. To the best of my knowledge, the ‘Christian Church’ is actually growing – not shrinking – in Israel.

I wondered 1. if the BBC was just being, ahem!, merely anti-Semitic/anti-Israel, or 2. if not, instead talking about something it had not researched properly. I suspect that latter point was mainly the cause although on past form it could have been both reasons or mainly the first as the BBC do have ‘form’ on that.

The first difficulty with becoming a Christian from an Orthodox Jewish background, especially from a Haredi or Hassidic community, is that you will most likely be shunned, cut off by your family & friends and treated as deceased. Dead. Although not actually so and still alive. Compare and contrast that, however, with converting to Christianity from Islam in a Middle Eastern or Asian State.

The other difficulty a new Christian from an Orthodox (or even Reform or Liberal) Judaism faces is what do you call yourself. For some, taking on the label of Christian, although strictly & technically accurate in a Greek sense for believing in Yeshua as Messiah and God, is a pejorative one. The label ‘christian’ carries all sorts of connotations, not least of Germany & WW2 and the Vatican’s attitude at the time.

It could be the BBC were being lazy, or had not used an informed or good journalist to feed them their introductory information. Or they had not understood the cultural complications and dug into the different labels that Christian Jews adopt: Messianic Jew, Believer in/Follower of Yeshua or just plain ‘Believer’. Those labels can then be applied to their churches where they choose to worship, should they choose not to join a mixed Palestinian/Gentile/Israeli Christian group.

I suspect that the BBC may have again been careless in presentation of FakeNews & False Facts in yesterday’s TWatO on yet another item in that programme. The reason I can only guess at.

By the way, if you have info that either backs this up or contradicts it or updates it, please post. I’d be interested to know.

Excuse my blissful ignorance, but is TWatO the Today programme, otherwise known as Toady? I have little doubt that the BBC is well aware that there is complete freedom of religion for all faiths in Israel and is engaging in taqiya by trying to indicate otherwise. But I’d like to check it out for myself.

Can you provide more info as to where I can grit my teeth and listen to the BBC pretending yesterday to be an impartial broadcaster re the plight of Christians in the Middle East?

The story seems to alternate on a weekly basis. This week the scare is that we’ll all starve because there’s no imported food, but next week it will be that farmers will go bankrupt because they can’t export the food they produce.

We could always try eating the food that farmers can’t export, along with our regular imports from outside the EU, e.g. Argentinian beef; but the BBC hasn’t been sent a press release on that, that they can “cut & paste”, so it’s impossible to report.

.. and some nutter in the immigration dept insisted on him taking an English language test first, so his mother died in the meantime.

It’s Vine’s review of the year, and he opened his Windrush item, by saying people had been illegally deported, but I knew he’d not actually find someone who had been.. he put that guy on instead
warning us “You’ll find this upsetting”

The longer nothing is done the more drastic the actions will be because more and more people are fed up of being ignored and lied to by our politicians.

I think you are pretty much spot on the money with this. It can work in certain circumstances but only where you have a strongman like Assad who is not afraid to literally bash a few heads together.

Unfortunately what you have said is the the unacceptable truth which the progressive elite will never admit to, even when they have a jihaddi banging on their own front door with a bloody big knife.

These bastards (and especially the BBC) have spent the last twenty years telling us the future is all multy kulty with rainbow Unicorns and because of their middle class arrogance they will never admit they have made a terrible mistake, for which we will all be paying the price for years to come. We see it in Sweden now so why should our own spoilt elite be any different.

As for the Christianity – I think we need to differentiate between the Coptic church and the church in Hungary who are well aware with what they are dealing with and the C of E, Led by the Archbishop Justin Iscariot who has already betrayed his own religion in not standing up for Christians being murdered abroad – still if he plays his cards right who knows he could become the Grand Mufti of Canterbury instead.

You hint at a very distopian future, and I think you are in all probability right. Whatever happens thanks to these idiots we are sure to be treated to much more blood letting in the UK and all because the virtue signalling idiots in power are incapable of admitting the truth.

As I recall, there was no multiculturalism in the 1950s and 60s because we were told that immigrants would integrate over time. Nothing to worry about.

Didn’t happen, of course, so the goal posts were moved and multiculturalism was invented to conceal the failure.

“Don’t bother integrating, just be yourself.” So they did, and they’ve been doing it ever since.

I notice on today’s news site that the airheads at the bloody berk corporation have gleefully reported the flightpath of Air Force One as it flew on Boxing Day. Trump was tracked across the continent following an accidental sighting of the aircraft above Yorkshire. Boneheads on social media then followed the aircraft and made sure everyone on twitter knew the flight tracker code as it flew across the continent. The astonishing stupidity of this action beggars belief. I’ve even considered that the intent might have been wicked. Not so the berks bc as it reported the incident in a style that was kinda cool , ya know like on gameboy dude. Morons.

Our fearless Home Secretary tackles the plague of Pakistani muslim paedo rape gangs head on.

Well, not exactly; these are his actual timorous weasel words:

“There could be – I’m not saying that there are – there could be some cultural reasons from the communities that these men came from that could lead to this kind of behaviour.”

So the fact that hundreds if not thousands of rapists, in dozens if not hundreds of gangs, happen to be Pakistani muslims (not “Asians” as the lying HS calls them) suggests there could be – I’m not saying there are – some cultural reasons from the communities that these men came from that could lead to this kind of behaviour.

As anyone with an ounce of common sense knows, there is ONE OVERWHELMING ‘cultural reason’ and it’s called islam, and it can be traced right back to the behaviour of the founder, and condoned by the misogynistic and xenophobic teachings and practices propounded in their manual.

Note too his reasons for wanting to expose these vile creatures: not because they are vermin who must be stopped and brought to justice to spare further victims, no: but because “ignoring issues such as ethnicity is more likely to fuel the far-right.”

See? The real enemy are not the muslim perverts who commit the crimes but the nasty far-right who might react to the crimes.

Ok it’s confession time….my hobby is taking pictures of high flying aircraft over Halifax UK. I use a 900 mm mirror lense on a Pentax SLR. At the moment (hang on this is going to get geeky) you need at least 1 / 1000 sec to take a half decent shot. This can only be achieved if (My lense is f8 fixed ) you select 800 ASA or higher. 1 / 1000 sec isn’t really high enough to give you shake free shots and 800 ASA or higher is very very grainy. So how did that guy take that picture of Air Force One?
He would have needed a lense with a massive aperture (let’s more light in) that angle is only possible if your about 12 miles away ( presuming aircraft is at, I would suppose 38000 ft) the amount of moisture in the atmosphere is high at the moment and this leads to distortion irrelevant of shutter speed etc. He would also have been to the west of the aircraft (it was travelling south) and the light shows it out from the west (pm) he said it was morning. I’m not calling him a fibber but I’m sorry that angle and definition is not possible from someone just stood “at the front door” or if it is I need lessons from him…..

A quick bit of trigonometry on the angle of the aircraft to the ground (10 degrees?) suggests that at 6.5 miles high, and assuming at that point the plane was in level flight, the picture would have had to be taken from 38 miles away. Would this be possible?

Yesterday the BBC main story at 10 was about hospital car parking charges and how everywhere else except England and N Ireland has done away with them.

On the face of it yes I suppose there is a story there but I began to wonder where exactly it came from and who wants to make a big issue about it. Apparently there had been a private members bill and Labour have promised to do away with the charges. However, making this the main story beggars belief at this time of the year of peace and joy to the world.

A local paper in NI, which I don’t buy has a similar story, the purpose of which might be to re-ignite debate on the subject for the benefit of the Alliance Party

    https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/northern-ireland/northern-ireland-health-trusts-rake-in-13m-in-car-parking-fees-since-2015-37659447.html

      Celtic,

I don’t buy it either, or much of what is written in it, and don’t know anyone who does. Its’ ‘award-winning’ website is awful. All the bigots who forced them to do away with their comments section seem to now spend their time on the bBBC ‘Have Your Say’ stories.

Hospital parking costs are exorbitant but these can be reimbursed in some instances to those deemed to be most in need, as long as they’re in receipt of a qualifying benefit, through a Social Fund Community Care Grant or through the NHS Healthcare Travel Cost Scheme. The initial cost can be high but the opportunity to get your money back is there for those that the politicians and the bBBC really want to portray as being the victims in this. Perhaps the Alliance Party, NIs Lib Dems, could spend some time helping with form-filling and providing advice rather than shit-stirring or removing skelfs from their arses.

I haven’t heard either of these schemes mentioned by the agenda-driven bBBC. So much for their community-led information service.

On Toady, Justin Webb and Mishal Hussein host Angelina Jolie as guest editor. And her agenda is —surprise: Refugees.
And now that Angelina is no longer ‘wild’, (excepting in a wild disregard for the law-because she is an ‘internationalist’), she is concerned with UN refugee agencies. We find out we are all responsible for ‘violence against women’, especially in the Congo.
It wasn’t put in that many words, but let’s see the colour of your cash….
Brown-nosing Justin wants to know if she wants to run for President.
I understand the ‘internationalist’ bit. Fifty years ago, it was a core principle of Communism (allegedly). Today it has been picked up by those in the West, who are their spiritual heirs. And unlike the Communists, they have no economic philosophy or elaborate structure to explain history, etc etc They know only that they don’t like ‘Nationalism’ (ie states have borders they are able to control). So: lettemallin and payup worldwide. Simples.

And Diane Abbott was there, proclaiming that all little boats in British waters are our responsibility, cos of ‘Asylum’ laws. Perhaps the whole idea of ‘asylum’ -designed for Europe of seventy years ago, but now potentially a way in to Europe and the UK for hundreds of millions if they want, needs to be re-examined?

You always wonder what those, like Justin and Mishal, (who will be on big, fat licence fee-payer funded salaries), are doing to take in ‘migrants’. My guess is nowt, cos virtue-signalling is free.
But I am willing to be corrected.

Having listened to the Jolie on the Soapbox (as well as Diane Abbott miscalculating on the Vienna Convention – is that the right one? – whatever, she got the rule wrong) I was left with conflicted feelings and thoughts.

On the one hand, this fake Editorship by a ‘guest’, enabling them not to Edit in the true sense of the job but to ‘Soapbox’, is a demonstartion of all that is wrong and corrupt about the BBC.

On the other, I was left thinking ‘Maybe it does some good? ‘Ordinary’ people will listen to this and will realise how immoral, how corrupt the Hard/Far/Liberal Left-Right have become. They may have their eyes opened to true conservatism.’

Snuff- ‘Ordinary people’ are precisely the targets of this non-stop propaganda, which is trying to make them feel guilty (not too difficult- if you took guilt induction away from the Lefties, they wouldn’t have a lot left in their armouries) and responsible for all the world’s woes 24/7.
There are very few alternative options in the media, where virtue-signalling is cheap, things run on an emotional level, and thinking rationally and researching, if you don’t have all the facts, is unfashionable. Who wants to dig deeper into the Vienna Convention to see if it still makes sense? Who is even aware of the ‘UN Migrant Compact?’
The ‘internationalists’ are hoping – I suspect- that the sheer barrage of propaganda is going to overwhelm everyone. They would also like to portray conservatives as wild-eyed warmongers, lacking in compassion, and always ready to smash somebody in the face. If you listened carefully to Mishal and Angelina, you would also have realised that the latter are essentially meant to be men. So, if you’re a man in Britain, you’re really not that unconnected to mass military rape in the Congo or Myanmar.
Not in that many words, of course. But that is how Feminist propaganda works. And Angelina (whatever she may describe herself as) certainly sounded like one of those.

They know that their political position is one held by only a minority of the electorate and an insulated, affluent, hegemony-holding one at that.

Snuff – I’m not wanting to be gloomy, I’m trying to say we must understand that there is a fierce propaganda war on, and that the Left has been winning this war, in part through its capture of the media and in part because conservatism, being convinced about the virtue/effectiveness of rational thinking, doesn’t really understand propaganda, which trades on emotions (like eg.guilt).
There has indeed been a reaction (eg Trump, Brexit) , but notice how Trump has been under siege from day 1 and how -at the moment- there is still a big question over Brexit.
None of this is coincidental. Rationally, it shouldn’t be happening. But it is.
And Merkel is still firmly ensconsed, and has just personally signed the ‘UN Migrant Compact’ (mentioned by Jolie, who is more than just aware of it).
And Justin and Mishal and Angelina are happily broadcasting away at our expense (in more ways than one).

fnw, my apologies. I got out of bed (late) this a.m. and in a fairly gung-ho mood. 🙂

Yes, I agree there is a propaganda war on. But …. but ….
I’m also aware that propaganda has its failures. I never thought the Iron Curtain would collapse. I hoped it would. It made sense economically & socially that it would. I prayed that it would.

              It did.

More recently, those inclined to vote Leave, together with those campaigning for a Leave vote in the 2016 EU Referendum had everything but the kitchen sink thrown at them by the Government, the Remain campaigners, a large part of the media and any other odd bods that could be encouraged to cajole or warn or threaten potential Leave voters.

              They failed.

Since then, not just the kitchen sink but the whole of an old kitchen, cupboards & appliances, all have been chucked with some force at the Leave voter and, especially, at those who campaigned for Leave campaign groups. Field, Hoey, Gove, Johnson, Farage, Banks and all the others have had to put up with the most ferocious, most bitter, attacks. I cannot help but wonder whether if there was a second EU Referendum (a so-called ‘Peoples Vote’ – more like a Remainers’ scam) now, whether all that propaganda, all that ordure, would result in what those Remainers want.

              Maybe not.

The people are wiser, smarter than many politicians assume, think or know.

      GW
      Politicalite, new to me.
But they have other reports which will never appear on the BBC.
Perhaps BBBC should have a list of recommended sites to assist new visitors.

LCS, well for ‘balance’ the bbc does seem excited about this ‘story’, with added ‘expert’ ‘analysis’ (BBc quotes):

He is a good bet for DG surely?

John clearly in need of some Gaviscom.

Is it not usual journalistic practice to lock down facts before going ment… even more mental, rather than banging out accusations and engaging in staging matches with the subject of the ‘investigation’?
