Start the Week Open Thread 3 December 2018

The Far Left BBC has been silent on the poisonous UN Treaty on Migrants which the outgoing PM will sign on our behalf this week. It is a horror and shows how far the UN has become a disfunctional lefty cancer in need to urgent reform .

When the next government – of whatever type incorporates the treaty into UK law people will wonder what the hell is going on – bet the BBC won’t tell them .

There is a petition on the government website and I am sure some friend will put up the link in

The London Evening Standard and, I guess also the BBC, made much of the fact that ‘the pound soared after the Government lost the three votes in the House’ and the ECJ issued its preliminary view about ‘stopping Brexit’. It was mentioned in the 10.45pm TWT end-of-programme news round up and in the 11pm News but I do not know what was said in the 6pm News or earlier during TWT.

In reality, the gains made were tiny and the sort of thing seen on any trading day. They could have been due to a variety of factors and were certainly not of the order of 3 cents on the Dollar or 5 cents on the Euro.

It’s called blackfishing, so the BBC tell us. The story is about women pretending to be black, or rather being accused of pretending to be black so they can benefit in some way.
One of the women has a fat arse which, I understand, is a valued asset to black women.

But as the BBC are constantly reminding us of the oppression suffered by black people in our white privileged society how is it beneficial to pretend to be black?

    BBC1 News at 19.00

The funeral of President Bush was reported by Jon Sopel. He did not flinch from throwing digs at Trump. Here’s what he said during the report on the Church Service:

    “- a divided nation”

“Trump – so disdainful of the Bush dynasty”

“This a day of unity – warmth it wasn’t – the chilly body language – chilly as the day outside”. (a reference to Trump shaking hands with Obama and his wife).

“As President – Bush said he wanted a gentler, kinder nation – something not at the forefront in 2018.”

So, Sopel uses any event possible to smear Trump. And the BBC pay his wages with our money.

    • TrueToo says:

      Dover Sentry,

Evidently Sopel is too intent on pumping out his petty propaganda to be concerned with facts. Even though there was much animosity during the primaries between Jeb Bush and Trump, George W. Bush and wife Barbara received Trump and wife Melania graciously as they arrived to pay their respects to the family and the warmth was evidently reciprocated.

Here’s the evidence which shows that Sopel is either lying or willfully ignorant of facts that don’t suit his bias.

ITV News just now was no better. The atmosphere was friendly amongst the former Presidents until Trump turned up, apparently. We were then shown a picture of them sitting in stony silence looking at the order of service.

Knowing how the media operates, I’d imagine that was judicious editing by using a shot during the service.

I must have imagined the venom and ridicule that I wrongly remember being directed towards the Presidents Bush, because apparently they were great statesmen from a golden age.

      • TrueToo says:

        Roland Deschain,

Yes the fake workers for the fake media know how to edit to suit their fake narrative.

Here’s a clip of Donald and Melania arriving to sit next to Barack and Michelle.

It’s not exactly a reunion of old friends, but it’s cordial. Donald ushers Melania forward to greet them first, probably calculating it would be awkward for him and Obama to sit right next to each other.

The Clintons, on the other side of the Obamas, greet Melania. Bill, at least, has the grace to smile. He appears to glance towards Donald, but Hillary looks straight ahead.

For fake news workers to construct a stony silence out of all that is yet more evidence as to why they cannot be trusted.

It can’t have been too comfortable really, but funerals rarely are, and it makes me think of those family events where you have a divorced couple, and their new partners/families, having to be civil and sit together.

As a complete outsider, with no particular axe to grind, Trump, and his missus, actually strike me as handling this sort of situation very well. Obama and Slick Willy are too oily to let something like political differences get in the way of their carefully groomed public images. It’s Mrs Clinton who you really need to watch, with her wild, rolling eyes and quivering lips (she strikes me as a ticking timebomb at the best of times to be honest).

Sopel has never recovered from Trump calling him out in public, and really needs sectioning and a straight jacket, it’d be interesting to see his reaction if you casually dropped the word ‘Trump’ into a random conversation.

It’s tricky assessing this really. The bush family are swamp dwellers as are the clintons and Obama . So President Trump has to pretend to have some regard for them . As head of state he was duty bound to put on a show for Bush senior but hopefully the ex president s can go back to their holes .

I’m concerned the mrs Obama might run in 2020. I don’t think she’d win but the BBC would bleed delight …..

Tim Martin was on radio Newcastle this morning.
I was looking forward to hearing him rubbish the remainer claims and push the Brexit side.
I forgot that it was the bbc.

Each ‘question’ by the interviewer consisted of about 15-20 negative to Brexit statements (bus, jobs etc) and then Tim was allowed a one sentence answer (then edited to stop?) so the bbc gets to say a whole lot of their anti Brexit propaganda and let Tim have a small say, about 15-20% of the interview.
Later, a pro remainer gets just the opposite treatment being allowed to say anything (Brexit lies, bus, electoral fraud and the usual rubbish)
    So, business as usual.

Why doesn’t someone, on live bbc, ask them why they have made NO positive programs about Brexit and why EVERY political program is heavily biased to the remainers such as question time panels being invariably 4 remainers to 1 leaver each week (unless it’s 2 leavers where one is like Paul Mason who says he is a leaver yet wants everything to stay as it is)

There was an interview with “leading economist, Vicky Price”, on the BBC News this morning. It was interesting to note the deference this prominent Remainer was given and the stark contrast the former jailbird was afforded when compared to our own Tommy Robinson.
Whenever Tommy is introduced we are always told his real name is…. and given a full list of his past misdemeanours and unsavoury associates. Vicky was treated like a queen!
No mention of her imprisonment for perverting the course of justice, no mention of her former husband, ex leading Liberal (and another jailbird) Chris Huhne, imprisoned for the same reasons. And no mention either of her current beau, Mr Dennis MacShane, yet ANOTHER jailbird! This geezer was Labour MP for Rotherham and diddled the tax payer out of nearly £13,000. Rather more importantly he was also MP during the years of mass rapings.
“I knew nothing” he claimed and yet when pushed some years later he confessed, “I’m a true Guardian reader, a liberal leftie, I suppose I didn’t want to push it too hard. I didn’t want to rock the multicultural boat.”
Clearly the honest and impartial BBC must have known all of this.

      Dear Member of Parliament,
This year we have commemorated the 100th anniversary of the end of The Great War and the extension of suffereage to property-owning women over the age of thirty, strangely forgetting its extension to all men over the age of 21. The former group numbering around 8.5 million, bought at the cost of one life and the later numbering around 7.7 million, bought at the cost of 744,000 lives. Equality is a wonderful thing.

But what is the point of being able to vote if there is no-one to vote for? Such has been the case for the last forty years when it came to the issue of membership of the EEC/EU. However in 2016 our politicians gave us a chance to use our vote, they said that they would abide by our decision and so we voted to leave the EU.

Immediately parliament, the government and the civil service went to war against the people. Our prime minister set up a ‘Q’ department, a fake department that was supposed to be working out the arrangements to leave the EU. The reality was that she and the cabinet office were working against the people, behind the backs of her own cabinet.

The result, the so-called Withdrawl Agreement, a device to remove our right to leave the EU under Article 50 under the Treaty of Lisbon and to bind us to the rules of the EU indefinitely.

Clearly this Withdrawl Agreement in no way achieves a clean exit from the EU, indeed the very reverse, and it is consequently in contempt of the will of the people.

When we were ruled by Kings and Queens they asserted that they ruled by divine right, God himself had granted them authority. No such right belongs to our parliament. Their right to govern is gifted by the people and can be withdrawn by the people.

I understand that you believe that there should be a second referendum. What nonsense! What part of ‘leave’ did you not understand the first time? If you won’t follow the instruction of the people given by the first referendum why should we expect you to follow any instruction from the people in future?

Anyone who is a libertarian or democrat must surely vote down the Withdrawl Ageement AND work towards delivering a clean exit from the EU.

Remember the words of John F. Kennedy:

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable”.

      Yours etc.

To the strains of the lone boy soprano who opens the Nine Lessons and Carols at Kings College Chapel singing “Once in Royal Davids City”, we hear Lesley Garrett complaining that the King’s College Choir is sexist because it’s all male.
“One of bastions of male domination we have left.”
Martha Carney is at least trying to put the view that it’s a cherished tradition. But why have that item?

Reminds me of the fuss over Welsh male voice choirs a while ago.
For God’s sake, it’s all about the unique sound. By all means, lets have more choirs, mixed, female, whatever, lets have more wonderful choral music, let it drown out the sound of that horrible call to prayer thing. But don’t push out the boys and replace with girls if the numbers have to be fixed in a particular set up.

What next? All heavy metal bands have to be half female? The Spice Girls should have been half spicey boys?

The lights aren’t perfect but they are the only lights we are going to get . It’s no use going back to the shop to ask for different lights because the drunk shop keeper says they are the only lights we will get .
We offered the shop keeper £39 billion anyway and we both agreed we’d act in good faith in the future . However the drunk shopkeeper had his fingers crossed when he said this .

Without tariffs the lights will be cheaper and brighter next Christmas

Yes but even though they are our lights on our tree, the EU controls the electrical supply so we will only be able to have them on at a brightness specified by Europe and for a period yet to be determined by them.

I posted last week that on the Horizon programme it had been clearly stated that renewables are at best tokenism . There is zero possibility of them ever being able to replace fossil fuels, only nuclear fusion can do that. Yet old Attenborough, on the very day that The Arc de Triomphe was surrounded by burning cars and covered in graffiti, claimed that we , the people , wanted shock measures to be taken to save the planet regardless of cost. Is there a better example of how out of touch the elite are from ordinary people?
I do think that human kind is poisoning the planet in many different ways and that population growth is out of control and will mightily exacerbate the problems within the next twenty or thirty years. The most sensible thing that the UN , BBC and the like of Attenborough could do would be to lobby hard for nuclear fusion research and to persuade The third worlders to drastically limit the size of their families.

Ah, you mean pollution of some parts of the planet. ‘Poisoning’ is hysterical environmental-speak used to terrify and brainwash people, especially the young and impressionable (also see ‘tipping point’, ’18 months to save the earth’ etc etc).

After all that the earth has endured over billions of years, our puny efforts barely register and are mainly self-harming, though that’s not to say the issues you raise shouldn’t be taken seriously (which I do, albeit I have serious doubts about the radiation leaks you refer to).

An interesting quip this evening on Radio 4 from Ken Clarke (yes I know h’s an arch remainer) concerning the competence of his own party.

Clarke says that May perhaps triggered the article 50 too early (blaming pressure from Brexiteers) which she did at the end of May. He then claimed that he believed that no one in government had a clue about what they wanted the outcome of negotiations to be.

Just pause and think about the enormity of that for a moment. Not only did this corrupt bunch of public school idlers fail to prepare for the prospect of a leave result, but in the following 9 months between the referendum in June and the article 50 in March they did absolutely nothing to prepare for negotiations !

This shouldn’t come as any surprise because following the signing of the Maastricht treaty by the idle comfortable incompetent bunch of exiles from rotten public schools, Douglas Hurd told the press with the immortal phrase ” well we’ve signed it now, we’d better read what’s in it” !

What a confession! That they signed the worst treaty imaginable without even realising what they were doing ! No wonder Tony BLiar won with a landslide soon afterwards.

The same is likely to happen with Mays absolute disaster of a government with the unloseable election lost, and to a landslide at that. We might even be living through the premiership of the worst PM ever taking the title from Lord North !

If we get out of the ReichEU in any form it will be an achievement in itself .

I think back to the referendum and I don’t remember much discussion about ‘an agreement ‘ – just ‘in’ or ‘out’. No cliff edge , no hard brexit , just leaving .

The other thing being thrown around is that if brexiters are defeated in their wish it will unleash ‘ forces ‘

Does anyone really think that. ? Those that care will just shrug and turn off those biased politics show and the news because any political discussion after will be invalid .

Plus of course remainer triumphalism will go on and on .

Somebody above did a good job exposing the bias and personal anti-Trump opinions of Sopel during his report on George Bush’s funeral.

If there is one BBC mantra guaranteed to set me tearing my hair out it’s ‘nation divided’ as if Trump was elected then suddenly the U.S. split down the middle and the two sides were immediately and violently at each other’s throats over race, immigration, transgenderism, global warming and all the other sacred cow agendas that have been relentlessly and aggressively pursued by activists and the leftist establishment for years. Then Trump came along and at last gave a voice to those who had been shouted down and marginalised by the fascistic tactics of pressure groups and politicians with their relentless accusations of -ism this, -phobia that and red-neck the other

In other words, the country was already divided – all Trump did was bring it out into the open.

Like it or not, it’s called democracy, Mr Sopel.

From one who has lived outside the UK trying to drum up interest from, “British Business” to consider innovative business ideas around the World – and failing miserably – I understand his failure. “British Business”? Mr Hawkins didn’t think putting this fact into his report about Europe . But every slight , every bias by omission increases the determination to get out of the ReichEU and then start dealing with some of the rotten institutions which have grown like a cancer in Britain .

Mr Kinnocks ‘ morals – no doubt inherited from his parents – seems to think it’s ok to enthusiastically support remain despite the views of his voters .

But there again – he has financial interest as his parents each get an EU pension . It’s a pity we don’t hear from the dad who got him his job more as it would help brexiters a great deal .

I’d have no objection to male choirs having girls in their ranks! Trouble is, just at the moment, I can’t think of any music where the tenor, baritone or bass parts are taken by women! (I’m sure there are some pieces, but to date, they haven’t struck a chord)!

Now how about a falsetto in The Luton Girls Choir! That would turn a few heads, and not just because a few ‘tails’ have been turned already as well, rather painfully I guess…

They’ll be stopping selling children’s recorders next, as there are lots more below the bog-standard descant range!

So eventually, it’s all going to be ‘squeaky’ clean, and nobody will be bothered to listen! It’s bad enough when almost every slebby girl ‘singer’, has to start every line of whatever crap she’s screeching with a croaky grunt, before unleashing the unholy squeal which signifies the beginning of some sort of cat’s mating yowl! And that applies to most of the blokes as well, but they’re looking like prats most of the time anyway!

Switch on BBC news….it’s UKIP resignations and ‘the Far Right’ Tommy Robinson. Can the BBC explain why Robinson is ‘Far Right’? Is it because he opposes Islamists and the extremes of the Islamic religion…such as killing gays, adulterers and apostates, enslaving women and using them for sex and prostitution, the commandment to fight the unbelievers until Isam rules supreme, the never ending violence to make Islam dominant from within Muslim communities in every country they live in…is that why he is ‘Far Right’?

It’s a shame Robinson isn’t a Muslim who adheres to such a religion as the BBC will role out the red carpet and give you platform to promote and propagandize your ‘Islamo-Fascist’ religion whilst attacking Britishness.

    Welcome to TEZ Talks
TEZ Talks A thoughtful satire on society’s attitudes to Islam by comedian Tez Ilyas.

    2. Community
It seems from the news that all Muslims belong to the ‘Muslim Community’, but what is this mysterious organisation? Who runs it? What does it do? Tez investigates.

What are British values? Who decides them? And does Benidorm hold the answer? Tez explains all.

    4. Tez Commandments
Tez rounds up all his remaining advice on being a British Muslim in a handy cut-out-and-keep guide. From instruction on confidence building to advice on limb replacement.

    6. Are youse Muslim and that?
In this episode Tez talks about lack of Asian role models in TV and film and he discusses his feelings about being a role model himself.

    7. Once you go Asian…
In this episode Tez talks about the assumptions people have about Muslims, especially him and his love life.

    8. Made in Britain
Comedian Tez Ilyas presents a celebration of British-Muslim life. In this final episode, Tez talks about what it is like being both Muslim and British at the same time.

Who is really the extremist, who is really Far Right….Tommy Robinson or the BBC that promotes a religion that is extreme by its very nature and demonises and suppresses anyone who raises concerns about that ideology?

Yes and people should be somewhat concerned as it proves a point…that anyone who raises their head above the parapet and criticises Islam is going to face a full onslaught of useless idiots who appease the Islamists, they will be denounced as racists and turned into pariahs with many losing their jobs for having such views about Islam as well as being outcasts and made into ‘untouchables’, as in ‘tainted’, so that no-one will dare to be seen associating with them in case they get labelled as Nazis as well.

Still, in good company as the BBC banned Churchill from the airwaves in the 30’s when he criticised Herr Hitler and the Nazis. Wonder what it will take before people wake up as they had to in 1939?

Just remember what is going on in France and that the departing Interior Minister, Gérard Collomb, said France would have to be reconquered from the Islamists…

‘“The situation is very difficult and the phrase ‘Reconquering the Republic” is apt because in these districts it’s the law of the strongest that reigns, that of the drug dealers and radical Islamists, which has supplanted the Republic”….“You always have that risk…it’s not a fantasy, even if I don’t like using the term ‘civil war’.”

If anyone, especially Batten, waits for the perfectly timed opportunity to expose the savage barbarity of the islamic ideology, he’d never get his message out there.
Brexit may yet be thwarted by the establishment, but nobody should ignore the threat of islam in any civilised society.
Farridge and his handlers thought they had protected islam from attack by UKIP when they conspired against AMW to get that wanker Henry Bolton elected leader. That turned out well didnt it.
Now Farridge still thinks he is in charge. Well he can piss off ( is ‘piss’ allowed?)
Farridge got the NEC to delay considering Ribinsons admission under the rules until March. By which time he had planned to get his nose back into UKIP and push Batten out.
Well his putsch has failed, and his cohorts are like rats jumping ship. Unprincipled arseholes. If anyone is destroying UKIP its Farridge.

I have a horrid fear that by taking on Islam Batten may have contributed to the death of UKIP, and my fears extend to the possible outcome of the weekend demo.
But Batten is still right in doing so, and we will have to see if UKIP will rise or be taken over by another movement.

What Batten’s critics do not realise is that the battle with the EU is one and the same as the battle against an Islamic takeover, as that is precisely where the EU is deliberately heading.

Indeed GWF Mad Merkel has contributed to the influx of Moslems into the EU with her crazy ideas about wanting the hordes to invade us, thats not to say that it wasnt bad enough already before her moment of madness.
So, when you add in the stupidity of their free movement and no borders ot really is a recipe for disaster. Therefore yes, both issues are interdependent.
Of we dont get out of the madhouse our problems will multiply exponentially vis a vis islam.
The idiots on the HOC appear to be cooking up a legal definition for Islamophobia, god help us. What the actual *^* gets into their heads?
Some say, to quote our bbc, some say that the media will simply crucify Batten for both being outspoken on islam and appointing Adolf Hitler ( sorry TR) as an advisor. Well, theres no more point in appeasing the media any more than there was in doing the same in 1939 to the actual Hitler. The media will continue to lie for their islamic masters whatever you do.
The issue has to be faced , and sooner rather than later.
Farridge is so yesterday, with his condemnation of ‘extreme islamists’ but never islam itself.

I should have added, by the way, my experiences at UKIP branch meetings just prior to Henry Bolton getting elected leader. In two branch areas, just one person in each spoke in favour of AMW, just one. The rest thought the sun was shining out of Bolton’s backside, including the branch chair who had listened enraptured by boltons rhetoric at party conference,
                    Fools.
There was then, a reluctance to discuss islam, and probably remains thus. If we lose such short sighted members well so be it.
I’ll repeat here what I have said previously on these pages.
An ex-chair of our branch, during a premeeting discussion of AMW declared:
” the only reason AMW hates moslems is because shes a lesbian”
That I’m adraid was the level of intellect.

If UKIP does not respond to popular dismay about Islamic behaviour, who else will? Not, apparently the mainstream political parties. If moderate sensible people stay silent, others will come to speak for them.

pug & D_C, the key issue for UKIP at present (or was) is Brexit. The problem of radical Islam isn’t going away, there’s plenty of time to deal with it and there is another method. Brexit should have been THE priority for UKIP.

Changing spiritual attitudes in the rest of the non-Islamic UK is what I have in mind. That will take time and is best accomplished after Brexit is complete, otherwise interference from Brussels would be highly likely to get in the way.

G, no, it needs to be a fresh, ‘clean’, Party but there’s no time to do it now.

It is a supreme irony that the Labour Party should be ideally placed to step up, but they are fatally compromised by Corbyn’s inability to lead and also his unwillingness to rid his Parliamentary Party, at least his Front Bench, of Remainers.

We really needed UKIP to keep the Conservative and Labour Parties democratically honest and to deliver a full and proper leaving of the EU at this critical moment.

The PM is ‘the only game in town’ now. And she is going to have be a game lass in the mould of Thatcher and Churchill if she is truly a PM leading the UK away from the EU. She is taking a lot of ‘friendly fire’ (especially on here) as well as flak from the enemy. Head down, girl, dig those heels in and go, go, go.

Question Time packed with Remoaners, and the big interview on Today?…also packed with Remoaners as is all too often the way these days as Brexiteers and Brexit are sidelined in discussions about what should happen next….you would never know we have the choice of actually implementing a real Brexit [not a ‘hard’ Brexit as the BBC deliberately maligns it with prejudiced, perjorative language]…the only choices the BBC offers are a second referendum or now, the latest wheeze, Norway.

Jo Johnson actually makes exactly the same complaints about May’s deal as Brexiteers, it is essentially complete surrender and vassalage to the EU whilst Stephen Kinnock is arguing for Norway + which is much the same thing with completely open borders. Though Johnson makes the same complaint as Brexiteers his solution is in fact to have more EU and to stay in the EU [by using a rigged referendum]…however what is never pointed out is that should be about face the rules will have changed and membership will come at a very heavy price putting us even more at the mercy of the EU.

The answer to keeping Islamists happy as they demand more Islam is to give them more Islam, the answer to Hitler demanding more land is to give him Czechoslovakia. How did all that work out? Appeasement never works. They keep coming back for more as they recognise you are weak and foolish and will do anything for a quiet life…even if that means subjugating your own people, and indeed others, to the enemy.

As long as the government keeps accepting the EU position that the Irish border is a problem this will never be resolved…and as long as the BBC keeps on promoting that pretence about the border there will be no pressure on government to stand up to the EU and tell them to get stuffed. Ask a BBC journalist to explain where in the Good Friday Agreement it says anything at all about borders and you get silence….again and again and again. They can’t answer because there is nothing in the agreement about borders but they want to keep up the lies to help the EU.

And note the arrogant, contemptuous, sneary put down from Dimbleby….unprepared to genuinely tackle Moore’s point he uses the same tactics he always uses…and is always proved ultimately wrong as when he claimed the BBC never used the term ‘due to Brexit’.

      Pug,
Treason May has to keep the N Ireland border open. How else would those lovely millions of immigrants the Irish intend importing from the Third World get into the UK without that ‘back-door’ left ajar?

G, under the Vienna Convention (think that is the right one) the Police in NI simply take the migrants back south over the border and leave them there. That ‘difficult border’ has hidden benefits. 😉

That’s a massive assumption that the police will actually act. Are you suggesting that the NI police have not got enough serious crime like hate speech to be sidetracked by irrelevancies like people invading……….
