      Lucy Pevensey,

I sometimes found it possible to silence the motley anti-Israel crew for a second or two by pointing out that a week or so after Israel withdrew every last settler from Gaza, Hamas and company renewed their rocket fire into Israel.

I guess the members of the motley crew quickly settled back into their habitual bias by deciding that was Hamas’ way of making peace overtures.

DramaGreens pull a big tantrum to get their way
    Oh today Harra reports
\\ Another protester, Tiana Jacout, 31, from Bristol, told BBC News: “Finally! Someone has given us all permission to rage against the idea that we are barrelling towards extinction.

“We have been invited to decide, between those unbearable nights of watching the slow-moving car crash that is how humanity treats the world, or standing up for the world we know is possible.

“I am happy to give up my freedom for the idea of that, that others can see a better world.”

The protesters were boosted by a letter from 100 academics in the Guardian – including the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams. //
Extinction Rebellion was the group I mentioned on Saturday

Canada in talks with Pakistan to take Asia Bibi

“There is a delicate domestic context that we respect which is why I don’t want to say any more about that, but I will remind people Canada is a welcoming country,” Trudeau told AFP in an interview on Monday while in Paris for a conference.” – ooh, I wonder what that could be?
Please Mr Trump Sir, why don’t you offer Asia and her family asylum? They truly deserve it and I would really love to see the faces of those cretins who love to criticise you.
    Also:
“Asia Bibi, sometimes known as Asia Noreen, was convicted in 2010 of insulting the Prophet Muhammad during a row with neighbours the previous year.”
So the story about her sharing a cup of water with other farm workers who objected because she was a Christian and they didn’t get first go as Muslims, is now reduced to ‘a row with neighbours’.

Trump taking Asia Bibi in would be a fine act of principle and compassion. There is also a small chance that it would shame those leaders who have turned away from her in order to appease that violently intolerant religion that is slaughtering its way across the planet.

It’s a small chance since I doubt they have any shame.

BBC News at One and in at No.1 spot : Neo-Nazis…

I know this has already been mentioned a couple of times and I’ve been wondering just how high the term ‘neo-Nazi’ ranks in their various descriptions of evil. Is it worse than plain old Nazi, Far-Right, Alt-Right, TR, UKIP, Islamophobia, Toryscum etc. etc?

They surely can’t be as evil as TR because his sentence was (I think) longer… 🙁

      @Countryblues : they haven’t been sentenced
“All six people will be sentenced together in a two-day hearing on Friday, December 14, and Monday, December 17.”

There is a crucial difference between the Muslim rape/terrorist crime and these weird Nazis.
In that with the ethnic-Muslims the default seems to be for the community to protect the perps
.. and it doesn’t seem people who like to dress up as Nazis are protected.

The second cases seem like e some weird made up story
like half of these supremacists seem to be foreigners anyway
.. maybe it’s like a role playing game of Dungeons and Dragons for them.

      – The English father who likes to dress as Nazi, Klu Klux Klan and gives his child the second name “Adolf” sounds like a cartoon character.
      – His wife is Portuguese
      – The third is called Daniel Bogunovic.. He’s extremely dangerous, cos he has a conviction for putting up a lot of stickers

The 3 who pleaded guilty are all middle twenty English by their names ”
      – Darren Fletcher, West Midlands,
      – Joel Wilmore, Stockport
      – Nathan Pryke, Cambridge

There were 4 others earlier convicted including 2 sentenced for 8 years
      – Mikko Vehvilainen … hardly a British name, born in Finland.

      – Alexander Deakin who was a soldier in Wales

The BBC and the mob use the terms “Nazi” and “Fascist” interchangeably. The Nazis were members of a German nationalist political movement, while the Fascists were members of an Italian nationalist political movement. As both were nationalist movements membership should have been mutually exclusive. Were any activists allowed to be a member of both?

Perhaps Dan Snow could make a documentary about it.

That message folks was DIVERSITY. Amazingly even tho 99% of the pupils looked white, BBC chose to focus their interview with a black child. You couldn’t make it up. So there we have it, the premier League and pop stars now brainwashing our young kids in school that diversity is our strength. Scary how low the liberal left will stoop to indocterate kids early and spread their liberal message.

Not content with the amount of pro-EU propaganda being spewed forth from their own channels, the bBBC have happened on a means of producing even more and are tonight involved in a Brexit-themed simulcast with their like-minded allies at the Irish broadcaster RTE.

BBC NI are showing what I think is live debate from both sides of the cod-contentious border with studio panels and audiences in Belfast and in Dublin, with Big Sweaty ( How Much?) Stevie Nolan stinking out the South and the decidedly more fragrant Claire Byrne from RTE braving the “Brits” to chair debate up here in “the North of Ireland”.

They’re taking turns to talk, the usual gallery of ganchs in both cities spreading as much confusion and discourse as possible in their efforts to thwart a democratic vote, once again insulting our intelligence unchallenged.

I would go into more detail but to be honest I paid the five minutes I watched no mind at all. Can you imagine the national broadcaster of any other country but ours allowing the mainstream media of another nation engaged in openly hostile negotiations to peddle their pro-EU propaganda on a joint platform unless they themselves were pushing the same agenda?

The bBBC really do disgust me.

The Nation is a leftwing publication in the US, so take this into account while reading the article. I don’t want to ban people’s opinions and this may not be an accurate state BUT, on the newly elected Brazilian President, Bolsonaro, the article says he aims to target the leftist indoctrination in the educational system in schools in Brazil. This sounds like a good idea to me, depending on what this actually means.

If Brazil, Argentina and other nations keep electing conservatives to be there leaders, I may have to end up cheering for their football teams. That one in Argentina seems to be a decent man.

I have been avoiding the BBC and I feel much better for it. It is like constantly being told off by a nagging aunt. The NPC meme is so spot on: there are a few accepted opinions and these are hammered in continuously with no scope for nuance or adventure. If women and ‘minorities’ can only ever be victims then I am a banana.

I hate how often they report: “Someone said something that fits our agenda.” News used to be actual events: a bridge collapsing, for example. Now they say: “X warns bridge might collapse unless you do as we say.” What a cop out.

I feel so betrayed over Trump and Brexit; as well as their abject grovelling to the ROP. It has gone beyond being merely irritating to opposing so much that we hold dear. The best protest is to ignore them.

‘I’d heard about shadowy Russian influence campaigns and militaries fighting warfare with information.

But the people I met there showed me there was another, very simple reason why people sent false and sensationalist news to Western audiences. It was for the money – they share it because we click on it.’

‘Clickbait and “fake news” are terms sometimes used interchangeably to describe false or sensationalist material circulating on the web.’

‘Much of it was false. And while some of it looked like news, this was content for one reason alone: clicks.’

‘I’ve begun to reflect on this kind of fake news, of content exported to Western markets for profit, as something akin to poppy growing. It’s a cash crop.

It’s no use to the people that make it. It doesn’t do any good to the foreign markets that consume it.’

The bBBC carried out a poll to go along with their joint BBC/ RTE effort last night which, although headlining the pro-EU Belfast Telegraph online, is not mentioned on the bBBC website. This is probably because the people surveyed, a paltry 1000 on each side of the border, delivered nothing new, only the conclusion that the majority of people do not want a hard border, as we know, and that the majority believe that a United Ireland would become more of a possibility after Brexit, again, as we already know.

So basically what everyone, including the DUP, has been saying for at least a year about not wanting a hard border in Ireland is confirmed in this poll along with the suggestion that a United Ireland might / would/ could indeed happen at some stage. Not really ground-breaking stuff there, how much did that cost? It doesn’t say that people want a United Ireland to happen or would support this. I think it more likely suggests a realism amongst those surveyed, that they believe that this would be forced through eventually should Northern Ireland be betrayed during Credit by our PM, as looks increasingly more likely.

Not the headline the bBBC wanted then and nor indeed was their programme, but what is on their website is a piece on a report by four unidentified legal academics jointly funded by the Northern Irish and Irish Human Rights Commissions on the Common Travel Area.

Apparently the agreement that gives so many reciprocal rights to people moving between the UK and Ireland is not as legally robust as believed and needs to be more rigidly enshrined in law, of course where the Irish and their EU handlers would have more of a say, by a new agreement.

No. Get rid of it entirely.

The CTA was primarily designed to foster good relations and to maintain a cultural link for Unionists in Eire after Partition. Nothing to do with the EU and is now irrelevant. The CTA is of far more benefit to Irish citizens than to the British and should have been brought up in discussions on the “hard border” from the start. The attitude and actions of the Irish Government would have been a lot less obstructive if this had been the case. This report suggests to me that some in the South and subsequently the EU are starting to panic a bit, afraid that the citizens of Ireland might not hold them in such high esteem should their lives actually be made a little more difficult.

GWF, I believe you may have, maybe unwittingly, provided the answer to removing all the dusky men from Sword Beach aka Ouistreham. Forget the proffering of bananas, but instead offer a diet of Andouillette Sausage and Tripe. These French restaurant staples should have the little darlings running. Or follow Rommel, and flood the ditches.

Visited the Normandie beaches last year with Mr Kitty and watched the mobs in the ditches, at traffic lights all the lorrys went through the red lights if way ahead clear so they could escape the hoards. Also saw people giving them food and clothes, felt like saying to the French “go and talk to the residents of Calais and how that works out “. We were OK as we live in France and have a French car so we got to the ferry no problem, in the queue for the ferry a British car with top box and trailer was searched 3 times.

Mrs Kitty, you are quite right. The trip into Ouistreham has turned into a nightmare, avoiding any traffic signals or road markings, while avoiding the HGV trucks and dusky people. But, and this is the big but, has anyone seen any warning on the BBC?

    The Muslim Sex Doctor
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b06nnnlr

Psychologist and Imam Alyas Karmani is a man on a mission. He offers a bespoke service dealing with everything from masturbation to the Islamic stance on S and M and discovering the ‘joy of Muslim sex’.

At 8m00s he explains everything is permissible unless made explicitly impermissible. He then lists what is not allowed: anal sex, no sex with a menstruating woman, and no sexual fasting.

Thanks to the unique way the BBC is funded I can now sleep much better knowing my underage daughters won’t be raped by Muslim men anally or whilst they are menstruating.

Thanks BBC for clearing that up. License money well spent.

    More treachery from the Guardian.

Yesterday the Aus PM warned against citing “mental health issues” and avoiding the obvious Islamic factors in the Melbourne attack. It was ignored by nearly all of the MSM. The Guardian responded with an awful article setting up one straw man after another to oppose his comments.

Now they seem to think it’s a good moment to shoehorn into their ‘Islam’ section a podcast which decides to call time on western philosophy. Baggini (one of their favourite bargain-basement thinkers) is “embarrassed” by his lack of knowledge of other world philosophies and excited by the appetising prospect of becoming “less certain of the knowledge we think we have.”

Meanwhile, over 2bn people worldwide prefer not to trouble themselves with the nuisance of analytics but get their version of reality from madrasas and 1500 year old books. All endorsed by agencies like the Guardian who clear the path by dumping on another fundament of western civilisation.

You could say that these alternative sources of reality are at odds with their mission to double down on alternative/fake news, but I’m sure the Guardian will tell us when to doubt and when to trust. Await further instructions from the Department of Rectitude to ensure you meet the required levels of confusion.

When Trump demanded France etc pay what they were meant to pay into NATO the BBC accused him of ‘breaking up NATO’ and putting the West’s security at risk. Strangely not accusing those countries that refused to pay for that defence of the same. And now Macron says he want an EU army….and presumably will pay for that….so why not pay for a worldwide NATO which is surely a far more safe and secure bet to defend against Russian and China than an EU army.

And again, no outcry from the BBC about Macron ‘breaking up NATO’ or undermining Western security wuith this new scheme. Odd how the BBC interprets the same thing so very differently. No outcry either over the statement that this EU army will compete with the other world powers…..and you thought State ‘nationalism’ was bad…how about massive, undemocratic, unaccountable empires clashing? Funny how the BBC is OK with EU ‘nationalism’ and aggression.

Another day and another attack on Trump by Sopel…

All the explanations are pretty similar based on difficulty of driving and an experienced journalist would know that every time you ask a different official you will get a slightly different answer. It was reported in the papers that the flight was cancelled at the last moment…not sure why Sopel doesn’t know that or refuses to acknowledge it.

Note that Sopel does not report, and I consider his twitter feed an official BBC outlet, no one would follow Sopel otherwise, that Trump attended the main ceremony on Sunday and spoke at length in the rain with no cover. Why does Sopel not report that when he is so interested in telling people what a petty coward Trump is who doesn’t like getting his hair wet and has no respect for veterans?

Looking at the comments and you can see Sopel has attracted an unsavoury bunch as his cheerleading audience. Flies round s**t comes to mind.

Sopel adds his own thought to the tweet…based on no evidence whatsoever….just a snarky, snide comment meant to malign Trump…..

Trump didn’t go to the ceremony because…’He chose not to’ Really? Just opinion and malicious smearing by Sopel.

2 comments from “Is the BBC biased ?” are worth repeating on this site as they give you the facts. .

Diabetes which costs the NHS something like £15 billion per annum is an important issue that the BBC likes to raise but the BBC aren’t giving you all the facts.

It doesn’t like to do is address all the facts or the reasons for the huge rise in diabetes cases. But if you check scholarly articles you will find the truth, as follows:

“Type 2 diabetes accounts for at least 90% of diabetes worldwide. The prevalence among the white European population varies from 2% overall to 10% in age group above 70 years. It is much more common in the ethnic minorities groups residing in the developed countries; South Asian and African-Caribbean groups in the UK in particular have a high prevalence.”

      https://pmj.bmj.com/content/81/958/486

The BBC is engaged in an active cover-up of this fact, as they do regarding the impact of FGM on the NHS (14 specialised clinics at the last count ( to deal with the severe health issues resulting from this barbaric practise) or birth defects arising from cousin marriage. The BBC is a Fake News service in that regard, prioritising ideology (PC multiculturalism) over facts.
      ——————————————
From diabetes UK report 2010 –

Type 2 diabetes is up to six times more common in people of South Asian descent and up to three times more common among people of African and African-Caribbean origin.

      Click to access diabetes_in_the_uk_2010.pdf

I think SIX times more likely means it would be worth knowing for the South Asian community from our national broadcaster, a public service to make them more aware that they have a much higher risk?
