For weeks the BBC has been pounding away at Universal Credit demanding more money and the reversal of cuts made by Osborne which wrecked the system.
Today Hammond promised £1 billion over the next 5 years and an increase in the work allowances in Universal Credit by £1,000 per annum at a cost of £1.7billion annually.
Looking at the BBC’s frontpage….nothing…a major rejig of Universal Credit, the BBC’s big bogeyman which it used to batter the Tories and nothing…even in Kuenssberg’s ‘analysis’…this is the exciting news she relays to us…..‘changes to universal credit that should mean fewer people lose when moving on to the new benefit’, no indication that this is a major and significant change.
Something the BBC told us was a complete and utter disaster that impoverished people and forced them to rely on foodbanks…and nothing!?
A cynic might think that the BBC’s big stick has been taken away and now suddenly they’re not interested in the issue…at least until they can find another aspect of it to start the process all over again.
Are the BBC more interested in getting Corbyn into office than in genuinely exploring and raising issues of policy that have major effects on peoples’ lives? I said at the start of this season I would give it 4/5 episodes before I jumped ship , new writer, new Doctor. Mohammed Ali MBE, aka Aerosol Arabic, created a piece of street art during Good Morning Sunday on 21 October for Faith in the World Week. He was awarded an MBE for his work with divided communities creating street art in which he fuses Islamic script and patterns with powerful messages for social change. His street art for FITWW will be displayed in Quay House until 11 November.
Mohammed says: “This work is based on my experience of visiting Sarajevo and Srebrenica a few weeks ago to learn about the genocide that took place in the 1990s. I was amazed at how life carried on.

The lying beeb may try to cover up the ethnicity and religion of the latest batch of paedophile rapists, but I suspect there’s not a parent in the country who’s not wise to their tricks when they hear that 6 ‘men’ have been convicted.

It is a huge worry. I just had to chat to my niece about this, albeit in somewhat veiled terms, as a girl was approached after school the other day by a stranger. When they screech about some hurtful Tweet or other similar SJW ‘hurt feelings’ garbage they never consider this absolutely horrific situation. A key element of the crimes which they gloss over is the racial element: women are dirt, so non believer women are sub human in their eyes.
What a terrible, terrible mess we are in. And the treacherous Beeb assured us it would be all rainbows and cuddles. Instead it is starting to look like hell on Earth in places.

The US is to send more than 5,200 troops to the Mexican border to tighten security as thousands of Central American migrants head north. Donald Trump earlier said the “invasion” of migrants would find the US military waiting for them.
