Weekend Open Thread

‘Any Questions’ fielded the editor of the online ‘news site’ The Canary Kerry-Anne Mendoza without telling us it is essentially a mouthpiece for Corbyn…not a ‘news site’ at all is it?,  good of the BBC to give it a platform…though maybe not as what we got was childish, ignorant, partisan nonsense from the editor…a bit of insight into what you could expect from The Canary itself?

Interesting to hear Dimbleby describe the audience as ‘self-selecting’…always thought they were carefully and rigorously vetted and selected for impartiality and to provide a good balance that represented the full spectrum of political viewpoints from across the country….Dimbleby also suggested that most of the audience would like to eat less meat….is that because he ran a poll or because he knows most of them are lefty sandal-wearing veggies?  The latter I suspect.

Any instances of the BBC ‘self-selecting’ the news that suits it….list it all here….

By all appearances the BBC support the rape of white lower class girls by Muslim gangs. In this instance they are focussing on downplaying it and passing it off as fake news. What a bunch of Jimmy Saviles they are.

    • Guest Who says:

Yes, no delays getting that one out.

And Supt. Harding (no relation?) clearly knew who could be relied upon to compose the optimum headline and story.

It is on social media too. Not sure anyone outside of the squad room and W1A is buying.

    • Doublethinker says:

The police chief does admit that the Rape , torture and murder that has finally been exposed in Telford is replicated right across the country . It is in big bold letters in the BBC report so it must be true. So finally we have it confirmed by the police and by the national broadcaster , Predominently Muslim gangs right across the country are raping, torturing and murdering white girls . It’s taken the BBC a long Time, a decade or more after it was first brought to their attention, to admit it and report it but now at last the public have been told that Muslim rape thousands of white girls every year in our country.

It’s laughable that both examples given here are blaming social media for problems with their favourite issues – Rohingya, and far right extremists. No mention of policing the use of social media by ISIS recruits or jihadis, or antifa. It seems a bit like sticking fingers in the leaky dyke…🙄

“But, you know how that industry works”

He is trying to explain to the sistazs union member and fellow sofa dweller Loiuse Minchin how come the established actor and former Dr Who got paid more than the unknown ingénue in a recent tv production.

Our Dan is instantly slapped down by the militant sista who will brook no dissenting voice.

“I think they [ie the show producers] can make their own argument”

The BBC: where only one side of the debate will be given the credence of being voiced by their presenters and where the trades union of greedy female presenters now rules supreme.

I don’t watch al beeb daytime due to its poor quality so get my view of mr Walker from here. I am guessing he may not be for al beeb much longer as he fails to conform .

He could be the young voice of Classic FM or a job on RT – or maybe not .

My test for Europe is where RT is allowed to set up if not allowed in Blighty any more . And the skies will be safer without aeroflot -er – except for the occasional Russian bomber . Tin hats everyone

Its Stephen hawking Remembrance Day . Al Beeb liked him so he ll get the full treatment RIP

Now I turned the wireless on to see if Blighty is still their as I have fled from the country for fear of nuclear attack .

Instead I got the grating saz monty glue going full head girl with some dodgy labour Muslim mp who got a nasty letter .on and on it went – same replies – same question. – but obviously no mention of what the letter says or why any on might dislike Muslims in the first place – such as mass racial rape .

Then Humph doing a jolly piece about the like of Stephen hawking and some poor yank Nobel price winner being asked to explain the great mans’ contribution to physics in the 1 minute before the weather .

Lastly – I found out that certain London Borough – not very far from where Fedup resides in North East Londonistan is to get taxpayers money to encourage integration . What a soft lefty joke and a sad use of taxpayer cash.

The civil servants who came up with this insane scheme obviously has never been to a place so overwhelmed by foreigners of every type. The white English left years ago .

If possible could some one post a note on this site if the Russians do nuke Blighty as al Beeb might censor it as it breaches the multi cultural all friends together rule .

Off to watch RT for the last time with me popcorn.im guessing the beeboids sound so happy today because they know one of their few competitors is about to be shut down as a symbol of freedom of speech .

  9. Fedup2 says:

    Toady 2

Sorry about this but Humph interviews some Tory minister called savid javid talking about how wasting millions in taxpayers money to integrate foreigners is a good thing .

So , government , encourage huge volumes of immigration from every fucking country on earth in short period of time and then worry why there are extreme social problems . Al Beeb never asked about this . Shocked .

And then we are expected to vote for these characters .

    “approximately 46 young people” who were victims of child sexual exploitation (CSE) or considered “at risk”. {bbc.co.uk 14mar2018}

    – 15% Increase in cases over 7 years? So police are failing?
    – Be careful because CSE and CSO are different.

That means the United States knows how to produce Novichok, including the lads at Porton Down? …. Is the UK Government are asking us to believe is that the Russian state just tried to poison someone, choosing to use a substance that they would know would be used to accuse them. 17. G says:

Interviewed on Toady earlier, Dame Louise Casey supported the Governments move to encourage integration by spending £50 million over the next two years on English Language courses. It’s doomed before it starts. Mere tinkering around the edges. Don’t we know it? You know the practical people amongst us who have taken time out to research what islam is all about. Merely a waste of £50 million. Thinks, Memo to Migration Watch to increase their estimate of how much it costs in total to support the immigrant population already at £16.8 Billion – https://www.migrationwatchuk.org/briefing-paper/381
But the Dame does not stop with her support for the additional expense. She goes on to condemn the “Right Wing activists” as being dangerous. “Dangerous”? In this new period of vanishing so-called ‘Democracy’ precisely who has been locked up for murdering masses of people? List the organisations banned.
It’s all a big sick joke. Drain the swamp.

  18. G says:

Anything in the quaran which authorises child rape? So Lord Pearson asks.
“Lord Young represents the disconnection from reality, fantasy and wishful thinking about Islam that prevail at the highest levels in Britain, and that are leading that nation rapidly to ruin.” I couldn’t have said it better myself………..

    • ID says:

The absense of fatwas against those supporting “a perversion of Islam” is telling – as is the complete lack of “defenders of true islam” fighting against ISIS in Syria. “Perverters of islam” have returned from Syria without any objections from “true muslims”.

    • G says:

I’ve since emailed a copy of the link to Lord Pearson and received an initial holding response.

  19. fakenewswatcher says:

Dame Louise Casey is another one of those BBC interviewees who absolutely HAS to mention the ‘Right’ and stuff in an association with terror, no matter how out of context to the discussion.
This morning on R4 the topic was integration, and Islam, in particular. But she had to squeeze that in, however absurd and irrelevant it sounded! Just like Frank Gardner…

Oh well, one less remoaner and anti Trumper

    • G.W.F. says:

One of the important requirements in science particularly in maths and cosmology, is the ability to identity a contradiction.

Hawkins never saw a contradiction between his support for a boycott of Israel and using a voicebox to express his support powered by an Israeli manufactured microchip.

  21. MarkyMark says:

The West had its chance to assert Western beliefs with the Rushdie Satanic Verses Muslim boycott and threats in 1989 (28 years ago)… we bottled it in the name of tolerance …. so back in 2016 the fatwa was renewed and the media blinked and moved on ….

    Salman Rushdie: Iranian state media renew fatwa on Satanic Verses author with $600,000 bounty {independent 21feb2016}
“The announcement coincides with the anniversary of the fatwa issued in 1989”

    • scribblingscribe says:

I can never forget labour MP Roy Hattersley supporting the book burning and death threats to salman rushdie on BBC’s Question Time – with the audience howling their support.

      • Terminal Moraine says:

For some truly nauseating reading, you have this piece of dangerously naive apologetics from 2005.

—”At the beginning of the row over Salman Rushdie’s The Satanic Verses, I told worshippers at the Birmingham central mosque that they should be as calm about their faith as most Christians are about theirs. A man called Saed Moghul told me: “You may not care about your religion, but that is no reason why we should not care about ours.” His logic was irrefutable.”

    • ID says:

Yes, that was when the rot set in. Everyone seems to forget that the Japanese translator of Satanic verses was knifed to death by a muslim following the fatwa. The establishment, like Jonathon Aitken in the Telegraph, were eager to say that Rushdie had brought it on himself.

  22. MarkyMark says:

The BBC does not report news … it generates it (Savile/Brand/Pay Gap) … and is busy changing the country via social engineering …

“By 2020, the BBC wants its employees to comprise 50% women, 8% disabled people, 8% lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender people and 15% people from black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds.{bbc.co.uk 14sep2017}”

  23. Up2snuff says:

Skripal case: The thought occurs to me that perhaps the reason why we are hearing so little of use from the BBC might be because they have been shut out from Westminster & Whitehall in the same way that they were shut out of Washington – for a period – by President Trump.

Have they upset someone prominent in our Government?

  24. Fedup2 says:

Al beeb really going on a Steve hawkin mourning mode – a full 14 minutes on the 11 am news and they’re still going – they haven’t linked his Labour Party membership , being a
Remainer or linking it to Islam which can’t be too far away . It’s got the sick jo Cox feel about it .

    • ID says:

James O’ Brien on LBC was using the demise of Hawkin as an opportunity to “big up” experts like Hawkin and the ubiquitous guest Prof. Brian Cox (another one! ) and bewail the lack of trust in “experts” in general. Just a few minutes before he mentioned that a ” medical expert” had given Hawkin two years to live after his diagnosis. Yes – you should always listen to experts and immediately disregard what they say

      • Fedup2 says:

  26. MarkyMark says:

The Balen Report is a 20,000 word document written by the senior broadcasting journalist Malcolm Balen in 2004 after examining thousands of hours of the BBC’s coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Eventually one year later Helen Boaden, Head of BBC News labelled it “an editorial misjudgment”.

  27. Doublethinker says:

Excellent piece in Conservative Women by the estimable Laura Perkins about the collusion between the government and BBC to suppress comment about Telford. Laura also goes to say that this supposedly Conservative Government is a puppet show directed by the BBC Guardian axis of evil and will do anything they wish in order not to upset them. As usual she is correct in every respect.

  28. KafirHarbi says:

Another broken promise by Khan (Guido – order-order.com – is keeping a pretty good record of all those that he has broken). Before he was elected as Mayor he wrote the to the motorcycle industry association with a promise to make biking in London safer and better.

There are now 55 motorcycle thefts a day in London – that makes motorcycle theft in our wonderfully diverse capital alone an £80m industry. A large proportion of these thefts are actually scooters that themselves become tools of crime that includes muggings, acid attacks and knife crime. The police will not investigate these thefts and crimes because they are instructed not to investigate ‘insurable property’ thefts, and not to pursue bike-mounted criminals (for fear of injury to the crims or being sued).

Just to add insult to injury, Khan is threatening to lump motorcycles in with the forthcoming ‘pollution’ charge to vehicles registered before 2007, meaning that bike owners would have to pay £12.50 a day to ride in London.

Motorcycles are regularly stolen by pushing them from a scooter by gangs that operate with impunity in broad daylight and open view of the public. Many motorcycle insurers have now refused to provide cover for motorcycles in London.

Khan is presiding over a city exploding with theft, knife and acid attacks, and reneging on his promises one by one. Meanwhile while the Guardianistas revel in our capital’s radiant diversity, the quality of life moves closer and closer to that in Karachi or Caracas.

  32. - Wild - says:

I see the BBC is using its favourite strategy of talking about “a report came out today” in order to to promote a bigger State agenda while disguising itself as a news service.

Hence a report came out today saying “Tax rises of £40bn ‘needed by mid-2020s’ to cut deficit”. How about a report came out today saying reducing taxes is the way to stimulate economic growth? I can’t recall the BBC ever using that headline.

Expecting the BBC to provide a reliable picture of the UK economy is like relying on Russia Today for a reliable account of what is happening in the Kremlin. Why should we be forced to pay for the BBC just because people at the BBC like it?

Reading Breitbart , spiked, and other fake news sites ( which is where I heard about Telford ) there appears to be a news blackout, further the comments on each of these sites even on non related stories keeps coming back to Telford. This story is huge. Yet ignored.
The alleged Russian involvement in Salisbury has come at a fortuitous time for the media almost cannily so.
I do wonder why it took a nano second for the entire media / political class to blame and sabre rattle at the Russians but took five days to advise people who had been near the attack to wash their clothes . Any Jihadi attack and it takes days for the media to even acknowledge it is terror related.
Personally I believe this whole thing is a false flag operation so the EU and British government can justify abandoning Brexit as we are in a ‘ potential war situation with Russia’ and Europe must unite against a common enemy.

    • G says:

World War ll fought, essentially to preserve our way of life. That, ‘way’ has endured throughout most of my life then started tapering off about 15 years ago. Now its rapidly vanishing thanks mainly to our inept politicians. It is going to take the ultimate: a war again to restore that way of life?

    • Terminal Moraine says:

@Jerry Owen — Just what I was thinking too. Currently, the Telford story does NOT appear on either the home page or the UK news page of the BBC, Guardian or Independent.

In a transparent attempt to ignore reality, the BBC quotes West Mercia Police Supt Tom Harding: “I don’t believe Telford is any worse than lots of places across England and Wales,” he said.

Do they know just how inadvertently damning that statement is? And yet they will continue present a highly dubious staged event as what we should all be concerned with.

The BBC have GOT to go-before they DO cause people to die for their ratings.

So, rather ironic is it not that Panorama, of a BBC known to train journalists to act against the wishes and/or interests of their and other countries gets snarky that a state monitors another state’s broadcaster when out and about snooping around said country.

Especially when said state broadcaster thinks nothing of snooping on its own citizens and peering through windows to claim sufficient cause to bring the police along to search a house for a ‘crime’ that exists almost nowhere else.

    4pm R4 Mixed-race families, Racial inequality now
: Around 50% of Black Caribbean men have white partners and the figure is just under a third for Black women.
Inter-racial unions are now an unremarkable feature of British life. Miri Song, Professor of Sociology at the University of Kent, talks to Laurie Taylor about the meanings that these parents attach to their racial identity. …. asks why racial and ethnic disparities continue to be fundamental to our society

    • JimS says:

Black women are ‘stronger’ than blonde bimbos and wouldn’t want to be lumbered with a feckless black man who has found that there are (just about still) more blonde bimbos that black bimbos?

Well it’s a theory that Laurie won’t cover. He’ll probably work it as black men aren’t racist because they go for white women and white men are racist because they don’t go for black women, innit?

      • Al Shubtill says:

Black women are also not, generally speaking, as easy on the eye as white women; though the majority of both who have black male partners, will end up raising alone any children produced from those unions.

    • StewGreen says:

Something ironic happened on Laurie’s show
There was a crossed line to his guest and they had to give up
First they filled time with listeners replies
: Last week they had covered British female politicians
… the complaint was they hadn’t even mentioned Thatcher
Then they went a great archive taped segment
A psychologist was investigating the techniques of male vs female politicians
What she found was gender made no difference, it was the experience that did
eg the naive would shout and look like idiots
So then she played a segment from Question Time
Milliband shouts at Farage “You want a private healthcare system”
Natalie Bennett just screeches over , Farage can’t speak and Dimbleby doesn’t want to let him anyway
Farage makes a clear statement “You are lying , UKIP is committed to the NHS”
Natalie continued screeching and later received lots of criticism
The mad sociologists Laurie and his guest, made up a post hoc excuse to say Farage hadn’t won
They decided Farage had been naughty as well cos it’s “unparliamentary to call your opponent a liar” ..and postulated , why hadn’t Farage got stick from the press ?
..em cos Milliband HAD lied you idiots

  45. StewGreen says:

    Times has news from January
“Police are investigating an incident at a school in which white pupils allegedly tied up and whipped a black classmate in a mock slave auction on school grounds at lunchtime.
The incident took place at a secondary school in Bath ”
The school dealt with it then
..now someone calls the police in
..Well when I was a school the white boys held me in a den until I peed my pants.
    ..no one called the police
    But then I’m not black.

    • Alicia Sinclair says:

After that nice Channel 4 piece of recent rewriting of our national genetics-so the first Britons were dreadlocked black village folk with blue eyes-safe to say now Stew that you ARE Black.
Maybe on the inside, maybe spiritually-but you`re black alright.
Rachel Dolezal and Elizabeth Warren in the USA are what they choose to be-so who`s going to tell you that you`re NOT black?
Not me-sue the arses off the LEA who let you suffer.

    • StewGreen says:

The latest edition of National Geographic is a special Apology Edition , where they apologise for all their past racism.
Like calling Aboriginals a remnant of bygone days
Or calling Pacific Island women beautiful.

The man is cleaning #HajreAswad with scented oil. May Allah (SWT) grant every #Muslim a chance to kiss this glorious black stone.

    • Rob in Cheshire says:

This is a bit of meteorite which muslims are obliged to worship. It has nothing to do with the so-called teachings of islam, it was part of the idols of pre-islamic Mecca. However, mohammed liked it, so it has become part of muslim custom and practise.

Sadly, he also liked under age girls, rape, looting and murder, which is a shame for the rest of us, because the same rules apply.

      • Al Shubtill says:

I’m not sure he “liked it” rather that it was easier to incorporate and gain more followers, than to try and force its worshippers to reject it.

He tried a bit of that at another time but it back fired quite badly, hence the “Satanic Verses” referenced elsewhere on the thread.

  47. StewGreen says:

Strange family court case, which by the nature is half secret.
A married couple have been granted the right to have joint custody of a surrogate child.
Strange #1 They live in different houses
Strange #2 One of them us gay, so the marriage is sexless …and they are more like brother and sister.
