Weekend Open Thread

‘Any Questions’ fielded the editor of the online ‘news site’ The Canary Kerry-Anne Mendoza without telling us it is essentially a mouthpiece for Corbyn…not a ‘news site’ at all is it?,  good of the BBC to give it a platform…though maybe not as what we got was childish, ignorant, partisan nonsense from the editor…a bit of insight into what you could expect from The Canary itself?

Interesting to hear Dimbleby describe the audience as ‘self-selecting’…always thought they were carefully and rigorously vetted and selected for impartiality and to provide a good balance that represented the full spectrum of political viewpoints from across the country….Dimbleby also suggested that most of the audience would like to eat less meat….is that because he ran a poll or because he knows most of them are lefty sandal-wearing veggies?  The latter I suspect.

Any instances of the BBC ‘self-selecting’ the news that suits it….list it all here….

      Looby,
The police chief does admit that the Rape , torture and murder that has finally been exposed in Telford is replicated right across the country . It is in big bold letters in the BBC report so it must be true. So finally we have it confirmed by the police and by the national broadcaster , Predominently Muslim gangs right across the country are raping, torturing and murdering white girls . It’s taken the BBC a long Time, a decade or more after it was first brought to their attention, to admit it and report it but now at last the public have been told that Muslim rape thousands of white girls every year in our country.

Interviewed on Toady earlier, Dame Louise Casey supported the Governments move to encourage integration by spending £50 million over the next two years on English Language courses. It’s doomed before it starts. Mere tinkering around the edges. Don’t we know it? You know the practical people amongst us who have taken time out to research what islam is all about. Merely a waste of £50 million. Thinks, Memo to Migration Watch to increase their estimate of how much it costs in total to support the immigrant population already at £16.8 Billion – https://www.migrationwatchuk.org/briefing-paper/381
But the Dame does not stop with her support for the additional expense. She goes on to condemn the “Right Wing activists” as being dangerous. “Dangerous”? In this new period of vanishing so-called ‘Democracy’ precisely who has been locked up for murdering masses of people? List the organisations banned.

Another broken promise by Khan (Guido – order-order.com – is keeping a pretty good record of all those that he has broken). Before he was elected as Mayor he wrote the to the motorcycle industry association with a promise to make biking in London safer and better.

    https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/news-and-views/blog/london-mayor-motorcycle-safety-crime-security?cid=sm_000009

There are now 55 motorcycle thefts a day in London – that makes motorcycle theft in our wonderfully diverse capital alone an £80m industry. A large proportion of these thefts are actually scooters that themselves become tools of crime that includes muggings, acid attacks and knife crime. The police will not investigate these thefts and crimes because they are instructed not to investigate ‘insurable property’ thefts, and not to pursue bike-mounted criminals (for fear of injury to the crims or being sued).

Just to add insult to injury, Khan is threatening to lump motorcycles in with the forthcoming ‘pollution’ charge to vehicles registered before 2007, meaning that bike owners would have to pay £12.50 a day to ride in London.

Motorcycles are regularly stolen by pushing them from a scooter by gangs that operate with impunity in broad daylight and open view of the public. Many motorcycle insurers have now refused to provide cover for motorcycles in London.

Khan is presiding over a city exploding with theft, knife and acid attacks, and reneging on his promises one by one. Meanwhile while the Guardianistas revel in our capital’s radiant diversity, the quality of life moves closer and closer to that in Karachi or Caracas.

Theresa May – “How is Islington after 34 years of rule Jeremy?”

Jeremy Corbyn – “Islington is the worse place for women as voted in 2017 by the BBC. How is the immigration going Theresa?”

Theresa May – “The voters believed my PROMISE in 2012 and still haven’t nagged me about. So funny! See you next week?”

Jeremy Corbyn – “Yeah, why not. More exciting than the back benches.”

I see the BBC is using its favourite strategy of talking about “a report came out today” in order to to promote a bigger State agenda while disguising itself as a news service.

Hence a report came out today saying “Tax rises of £40bn ‘needed by mid-2020s’ to cut deficit”. How about a report came out today saying reducing taxes is the way to stimulate economic growth? I can’t recall the BBC ever using that headline.

Expecting the BBC to provide a reliable picture of the UK economy is like relying on Russia Today for a reliable account of what is happening in the Kremlin. Why should we be forced to pay for the BBC just because people at the BBC like it?

Reading Breitbart , spiked, and other fake news sites ( which is where I heard about Telford ) there appears to be a news blackout, further the comments on each of these sites even on non related stories keeps coming back to Telford. This story is huge. Yet ignored.
The alleged Russian involvement in Salisbury has come at a fortuitous time for the media almost cannily so.
I do wonder why it took a nano second for the entire media / political class to blame and sabre rattle at the Russians but took five days to advise people who had been near the attack to wash their clothes . Any Jihadi attack and it takes days for the media to even acknowledge it is terror related.
Personally I believe this whole thing is a false flag operation so the EU and British government can justify abandoning Brexit as we are in a ‘ potential war situation with Russia’ and Europe must unite against a common enemy.

@Jerry Owen — Just what I was thinking too. Currently, the Telford story does NOT appear on either the home page or the UK news page of the BBC, Guardian or Independent.

In a transparent attempt to ignore reality, the BBC quotes West Mercia Police Supt Tom Harding: “I don’t believe Telford is any worse than lots of places across England and Wales,” he said.

Do they know just how inadvertently damning that statement is? And yet they will continue present a highly dubious staged event as what we should all be concerned with.

      Disgraceful.

Yet again the calibre of the police and their grasp of law impresses. Not. Loved it when, having agreed he was just there to manage any breaches of the peace, he started turning into a TVL salesman until reminded.

So, rather ironic is it not that Panorama, of a BBC known to train journalists to act against the wishes and/or interests of their and other countries gets snarky that a state monitors another state’s broadcaster when out and about snooping around said country.

Especially when said state broadcaster thinks nothing of snooping on its own citizens and peering through windows to claim sufficient cause to bring the police along to search a house for a ‘crime’ that exists almost nowhere else.

Something ironic happened on Laurie’s show
There was a crossed line to his guest and they had to give up
First they filled time with listeners replies
: Last week they had covered British female politicians
… the complaint was they hadn’t even mentioned Thatcher
Then they went a great archive taped segment
A psychologist was investigating the techniques of male vs female politicians
What she found was gender made no difference, it was the experience that did
eg the naive would shout and look like idiots
So then she played a segment from Question Time
Milliband shouts at Farage “You want a private healthcare system”
Natalie Bennett just screeches over , Farage can’t speak and Dimbleby doesn’t want to let him anyway
Farage makes a clear statement “You are lying , UKIP is committed to the NHS”
Natalie continued screeching and later received lots of criticism
The mad sociologists Laurie and his guest, made up a post hoc excuse to say Farage hadn’t won
They decided Farage had been naughty as well cos it’s “unparliamentary to call your opponent a liar” ..and postulated , why hadn’t Farage got stick from the press ?
..em cos Milliband HAD lied you idiots

The incident took place at a secondary school in Bath ”
The school dealt with it then
..now someone calls the police in
..Well when I was a school the white boys held me in a den until I peed my pants.
    ..no one called the police
    But then I’m not black.

Sadly, he also liked under age girls, rape, looting and murder, which is a shame for the rest of us, because the same rules apply.
