BBC allows Pro-Palestine reporters to cover Jerusalem

The BBC live blog on the Jerusalem story is currently being run by Becky Branford (who is a revolutionary marxist) and Mal Siret.

Yes, that’s the same Becky Branford who opposed Israeli plans in East Jerusalem, and the same Mal Siret who celebrated as “a stunning victory” the news that Jeremy Corbyn supported the Palestinian right of return.

Two completely biased Pro-Palestine/Anti-Israel reporters. Typical of the BBC.

Edit: Now they are also posting updates from Suzanne Kianpour who writes from Washington.

That’d be this Suzanne Kianpour.

Jerusalem: Trump recognition ‘kiss of death’ for peace
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-42250399
BBC 6 o’clock news again reporting fake news in regard to the Palestinian exodus in 1948. Jeremy Bowen reporting that 750,000 Palestinian were ‘expelled or fled’. Yes. EXPELLED or FLED…
should have said. ‘left, fled or expelled’.
Whilst no body denies that some were expelled, 35 – 50,000 by most reliable sources, not the 750,000 that they incorrectly imply.
They once again show their anti Semitic leaning..

According to a research report by the Arab-sponsored Institute for Palestine Studies in Beirut, however, “the majority” of the Arab refugees in 1948 were not expelled, and “68%” left without seeing an Israeli soldier.

Other papers on the subject come to these conclusions…
There are however certain facts which can be listed and which are unlikely to be challenged

    1. Some left purely because they were living in a war zone and were in fear of their lives.
    2. The “atrocity” factor played a role in increasing peoples fears.
    3. There was no central Israeli order issued to drive all Arabs from their cities, towns
    and villages.
    4. Haganah and IZL actions in Haifa, Jaffa, and Eastern and Western Galilee
precipitated the exodus in these areas.
    5. Once living conditions became intolerable in the Arab urban centres due to lack of
services, lack of municipal government staff, isolation, fear etc people started to leave. The exodus from one centre had a domino-effect which precipitated flight from neighbouring centres.
    6. The fact that local leaders were amongst the first to flee did much to further demoralise the population.
    7. On a local level, the Israelis deliberately depopulated a large number of villages and in many cases destroyed the homes as well. The inhabitants of the bulk of these villages were refused the right to return.

To put icing on the cake however, Correspondent Kamal Ahmed, Reporting on ‘fake news’ this evening. They just have to look at themselves. Are they the only people who do no see this….

      What`s this?
Trump fulfils an election pledge and recognises Jerusalem as Israels capital?
And this will hack off the Muslims, and derail any “peace process”? And it was going so well too.
And the Muslims will now go round killing, cutting and howling and worse outside US embassies?
      Oooh-they`ll be REALLY angry now!
      Unlike thus far eh Beeb?

Not to be forgotten that Jews were kicked out of nearly all muslim countries at the same time. The estimates on this number is iirc 850,000 to 900,000. Even higher and most were srettled in Israel without the need for refugee camps, which are only used for propaganda purposes as 750,000 people could easily have been accommodated in the Arab countries they were in if the inhabitants of the camps weren’t useful political pawns. The Jews were kicked out by ethnic cleansing. Also the Israelis are routinely accused of genocide against the “Palestinian” People. They must be the most inefficient ever at committing genocide as 750,000 is now nearly 5 million or so.

In the 1920s there were Arab pogroms against Jews in the Holy Land. I think it was Be’ersheba where Jews had lived for thoudsands of years before Islam had even been concocted that all the Jews were either murdered or kicked out. Ethnic cleansing of the sort that was claimed to be going on in Yugoslavia in the 90s but 70 years earlier, and well before Israel was re-established.

That female politician who claims that Israel stole Jerusalem is lying. From well before 1948 Jerusalem was majority Jewish. Also, how did the Muslims ever take it? Oh yes, that’s right, by conquest, murder and enslavement of its original inhabitants :- Jews and Christians.

Jerusalem is fundamentally a Jewish city, even its name is etymologically linked to Jew and Jewish.

Trumps recognition of Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel is a double whammy for the BBC. Their two pet
hates Trump and Israel. They can now get away with as much biased news as they want to. The usual
suspects at the BBC must be in an orgasmic state.” Tell Jeremy Bowen he can say whatever he likes.”
“Get Orla Guerin to Jerusalem.” ” I want as many pictures of Trump in a scull cap as we have.”
” We can blame Israel for any terrorist attacks anywhere now.” The BBC is going to be in its element.
How dare Trump recognize Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel!!

It is surprising that the BBC keeps forgetting to mention that the Knesset is in Jerusalem. The Israeli parliament in Jerusalem, isn’t that’s what makes it Israel’s capital?

A joy to see Huw Edwards justify his vast pay packet with a potted guide to Israel, Jerusalem and the Palestinians a few minutes ago.
Who knew it was all so simple? Yes, there were wars and peace talks-but not a peep on who started these wars, who trashed these peace talks. Just happened-“we are where we are, you know what they`re all like over there” being the gist of Huws News.
As for Americas action?-well, that was playing to a very narrow base back home, incendiary as is all that Trump says and does…is that better or worse then inflammatory Huw? (or Jeremy Bowen, seeing as he`s mooching off screen). THIS passes for news-no history, no election pledges, nothing.
Just a post Israel lobby somewhere , so says Kylie Morris elsewhere(same liberal shit all over freeview).

Just seen Emily Maitlis interview Mark Regev(Israels Ambassador in London), then the Turkish counterpart and then the US Republican who supports Trumps recognition of Jerusalem being Israels capital.
Bit late now, but if I wanted to do amedia masterclass in lazy bias and idiocies I`d use this one. Maitlis clearly has three sets of questions-all are interchangeable. You could well accuse Erdogan of being a no nothing cretin like Trump was said to be…you could accuse the Palestinians of being boorish obstacles to peace and killing innocent Jews…you could say that Christians will be outraged at what Trump is doing, and they will riot, rage and kill Americans now.
But she didn`t-and everybody here(except Maxipants) will, of course guess what questions she chose to ask, to who and why she did so.
Total bias and cliched foot stamping. No news, no illumination.
    Just Jews, Trump and all.
Now where`s that “anti-Semitic” KKK trope NOW then?

Imagine it. All our useless universities holding indignation meetings boycotting everything Israeli they can think of. Our useless politicians likewise although they have to more careful .
Presiding majestically over it all will be our useless BBC/C4/Guardian and the rest.
At least it might take their minds off Brexit for a few days.
By the way I seem to recall many progressives slamming President Trump for anti Semitism . An absurd charge of course.

Unbelievable. The BBC have just interviewed a representative of Allah, and according to him Jerusalem belongs to Islam, as does London and Bradford and Manchester and the Kashmir and Myanmaar and Mosqow and Europe and the Americas and Asia and the Earth as well as the Solar System, the Milky Way, Andromeda and the interstellar space as well as all those spiral galaxies and the quasars and the rest of the Universe.

Trump really is the best thing that has happened to the western world. He is taking the fight to those bastards who have spent their entire careers doing everything they can to destroy everything that has made the west the greatest place on earth.

Trump haters and Muslims have just been triggered on an epic scale….and they needed to be. But lets take away the hatred from those who are triggered and lets look at the facts.

1: Israel is the only state on earth unable to choose what its Capital should be. It is the only state on earth being forced (by the UN) to stop itself from self governance of its territory. Jerusalem has always been the centre of the Jews and was created by them because God asked them to. Jerusalem is not even mentioned in the Koran and its only significance is that it was taken from Jews by blood thirsty muslim conquest (as mad mo instructed them to, and did the very same himself) and is the place Mohammed supposedly ascended to heaven.

2: If Jerusalem doesnt belong to Israel, then who does it belong to? And if it doesnt, then Israel shouldnt exist…..and thats the whole point mate….these people against it dont want Israel to even exist. But, why should Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia exist? They all were created at the same time, but the reason we hear nothing about those places is because they are all muslim.

3: This “gates of hell” Statement by the Jihadi’s….explain to me when the entire muslim world hasnt been at war with Israel, and tell me when they havent done everything they can to wipe Israel from the face of this earth? Nothing will change because the very same people will be doing everything to kill every man woman and child living in Israel. What this whole thing allows is for Israel to be safer, as jews will now be able to protect themselves better from Mohammads instruction

Well done Trump! What a guy!

Can’t fault any of the above – the BBC have been using inflammatory words regarding Trump’s action but actually the worst response is the reaction of the Muslim world – attack, kill , all those lovely peaceful phrases…BBC seem to think that is okay
Trump is right there hasn’t been peace for years and no other President had the balls to get things rolling again…if violence arises because of this one move it will be on the back of Muslim aggression

There was a great speech at the UN earlier in the year when answering one of the plethora
of United Nations resolutions condemning Israel and only Israel. Hillel Neuer of UN Watch
asked all the Arab countries condemning Israel over Apartheid, “Where are your Jews?” There
was stunned silence when Neuer then said ” Where is the Apartheid?”
I reiterate that the BBC is in ecstasy over the Trump announcement. Their vitriolic hate for Israel
can be used by the” usual suspects” They can expound any filth they like about Israel without
    any retribution ,no editorial control.
For my sake I don’t care if Tel Aviv or Jerusalem is the capitol of Israel. Or for that matter if Karachi or
Islamabad is the capitol of Pakistan. What I do care about is that my grandchildren can go to school
safely. Even if they have to have security like FotT Knox. To protect them from the likes of suspected
terrorist Husnain Rashid and at least tens of thousands in the UK who support him!
BUT you wont hear about any of this on the BBC !!

Perhaps if the Arab countries had agreed to a (very generous) two-state solution in 1948 instead of rejecting it on the grounds that they would instead ‘wipe Israel off the map’ there wouldn’t have been any ‘Palestinian’ refugees in the first place.

Oh, and how many Arabs chose to stay in Israel and to to this day actually enjoy more rights and freedoms than any Arab, let alone ‘Palestinian’, living in a Muslim country in the region?

As ever with the BBC, it’s news faked by the omission of key facts.

    Long day at work.
Come in to find that Trumps decision to acknowledge Jerusalem as Israels capital will now ” put the pece process back twenty years”. So says Emily Thornberry of the anti-Semitic, pro-Hamas Labour Party. Must have missed this process-would Emily care to tell us how it`s been going since Clinton in 1994?
Trump finally getting around to supporting the only democracy out there.

Re the Suzanne Kianpour selfie. As far as I am aware female visitors to the complex of mosques on the Temple Mount (Dome of the Rock and al Aqsa) are not expected to wear head scarves. All that is required is modest dress. Women need long pants or a long skirt with a shirt that covers their shoulders and elbows. Clothes should be loose fitting. Sandals are permitted.

As a non Muslim I understand she would not be allowed into the Dome of the Rock building, whatever she was wearing.

During the 19 years Jordan occupied part of Jerusalem they never considered moving their capital there. During that time no Muslim head of state thought Jerusalem was important enough to visit.
