This is the state of Britain today: A Muslim convert to Christianity gets no protection. MPs, the Police, the Church of England, the Media have all failed him because he is the living embodiment of the big lie that Islam is Peace and that “multiculturalism” that includes Islam is possible.

I love Muslim apostates. Brave people, many who have to escape their own families who want to kill them.
The churches of the west should have had an underground railroad sort of organisation years ago for people leaving Islam. These are real refugees.

Perhaps the reason for no explanation after 11 months could be that there is a forthcoming trial of killers
So authorities don’t want to prejudice it ?
BUT I’ve seen no evidence they charged anyone with murder in Bristol prison

Did we ever find out the name of the man who attacked people on the train in Switzerland with an axe? I don’t think so. Just another thing which doesn’t matter, please don’t ask too many questions, or we may have to arrest you for disturbing the peace.

By the end of this century Europe will be islamized, and people will not know how it happened. This is how it started.

Good one ! Your comments about the EU Brexit negotiations and money remind me of bargaining in Gambia. I managed to get the bride price of my watchman’s new wife down from £250 to £180 but didn’t try the zero option. However. at £180, I reckon he got a good bargain. A bit expensive because she is only 19.

It’s also why a lot of the Trump ideas are called out for being silly/extreme: he’s a businessman who negotiates like this. A lot of his positions on things are said with the explicit idea that later on he’ll massively backtrack but in the process achieve goals that would be unachievable were they to have been said from the outset.

    After 13.30 mins

Kirsty Walk on Newsnight interviewing the still sexy Tina Brown. Kirsty and the entire BBC found it appalling that Tina Brown, apparently working close by, didn’t see and didn’t report any of the Weinstein sexual shenanigans.

Indeed, BBC viewers thought, how could an entire corporation turn a blind eye to sexual assault, even if it involved one of their senior employees raping children.

To make it worse for the confused and forgetful Kirsty, it was 2 journalists from Newsnight who were sacked for trying to expose Saville. Liz Mackean and Meirion Jones were not only given the elbow and told they would never again work for the BBC, but that they were traitors. Meirion Jones claims many other journalists were warned to steer clear of the Saville documentary.

Not been on for a while, Hello again everyone!
Spent a lot of time this week reading about various treaties enacted into law by our friends in Brussels. From Maastricht through Barcelona, Amsterdam, Nice and Lisbon including the actual wording of Article 50 and 49 etc.
Partly boring but very enlightening. Why are we constantly hearing about the same old hot button BS, especially on the bBBC, whilst these sneaky little treaties (Maastricht aside) were all being signed up behind our backs.
I appreciate many may have a more consistent knowledge of these treaties over the years but I for one have found it truly eye-opening. The Barcelona treaty, hidden under the ‘cover’ of keeping the Med cleaner, was square one for the uniting of Europe and Africa to oppose US dominance as far as I can see and although it hasn’t been fully implemented, it seems that gEUrmany has gone ahead with it, hence Merkels open arms over the last few years.
Anybody have further or more concrete ideas surrounding any of the above? Or was I just having too much fun to notice when it originally happened?

        We have a #MoreEqualThanOthers situation
Cos to for BALANCE by skin colour you would have needed 4 More white people since 7 of 8 people in the population are white
for BALANCE by gender you’d need 96 more men and 99 women cos less than 1 in 200 are transgender
You could argue that a panel should be half women
..BUT if you truly believe in equality , you don’t look at gender or skin colour you just treat people as individuals so a panel of 4 will end up with 4 people, so that the outcome could be 0,1,2,3 or 4 women , same for skin colour.

Here is the Right move ‘Happy at Home’ survey into how people feel about the area they live. For me it provides devastating proof of the unhappiness of British people forced to live in multi cultural hell holes, where areas less afflicted by diversity are rated the best places to live. Even a deprived place like hull is rated as one of the better places.

It just proves what a complete and utter failure diversity and multiculturalism actually are.

      Thoughtful,
Yes it does contain some important messages that the likes of our socialist PM should consider.
Most people prefer living with only a small amount of diversity or none at all. The greater the cultural differences are between groups the more difficult they find it to integrate. This has been obvious to anyone but the liberal left bigots for decades. But those bigots hold many of the levers of power today and they refuse to accept the truth ,instead believing that they can socially engineer integration by punitive measures against those in the indigenous population who don’t go along with their silly integration game. But They seem very reluctant to take any measures at all against those minorities who are reluctant or refuse to play the integration game.
I think it won’t be long before there are compulsory integration classes and integration community activities and re-education classes. Of course only white people will be compelled to attend ?! In the long run it will be completely pointless because Islam will triumph and the only way to integrate then will be to convert. Of course the conversion rate will no doubt be helped by a few heads being removed from shoulders to rustle up more volunteers.
I suppose that the current liberals who believe so passionately in all manner of human rights lunacies will be amongst the first to find virtue in the absolute intolerance of Islam.

How do they explain ‘white flight’? Surely if multiculturalism were so desirable white people would flee to these areas not from them.

They simply do not have the facts on their side. Regardless of how many fluffy narratives or Asian newsreaders they have, the fact remains that Western values are far superior to most ‘vibrant’ values. I bet no BBC staff live in Alum Rock or Luton. Actions speak louder than words.

The BBC staff may have a second , or perhaps even a third, home in the places that you mention., purely to show that they walk the talk. Of course they will hardly ever set foot there due to pressure of work and the dinner party circuit. But if the need arises they could put up a few immigrant invaders there and ease their consciences . After all what does it matter if you have a Bomber in the bedroom , or a rapist in the roof space , as long as you don’t actually live there and they blow up and rape some white trash who probably voted Leave anyway. They sort of deserve it don’t they.

So Tammi Grey Thompson has a budget of up to £100 million to deal with ‘diversity’ for the Beeb.

    1. How does being in a wheel chair endow one with the skills to manage a budget and project of such size? I am a white table tennis player with blue eyes, but I would not have a clue how to manage a £100 million budget to help other table tennis players with blue eyes. Just being ‘diverse’ is not in and of itself a skill set.

    2. Goals need to be well-defined. What does ‘diversity’ even mean and when will we know we have enough of it? After gender, race and religion could they move onto place of birth, height or what sport they like most? It could go on indefinitely and there will be people with a vested interest in creating as many new categories as possible. With an equalities industry worth £1 billion you can bet no matter what we spend these experts will tell us more money is desperately needed.

    3. Would shareholders of a company ever agree to something like this? So much money for an indefinable goal.

    4. A company could maybe invest such sums on a substantive project, say a firm wanting to branch out into the US market. They could do all manner of research to show how it could be profitable in the long term. What definite evidence do they even have that ‘diversity’ is such a great thing? If the standard of their programmes is anything to go by it has had a negative effect as anything brave or edgy is sacrificed on the altar to this false God of ‘diversity.’

    5. How many of the millions will go on ‘consultants’, which will essentially mean the BBC giving out money to fellow troughers?

BB, Indeed. That’s the trouble with inflation and big government or, more correctly, Inflation and BIG Government. Eventually when departmental budgets get into multiple billions, it is easy to justify; “Oh, it’s only £100 million, a fraction of our annual budget.”

No assessment of what else that £100m might be spent on. And once it is in the budget, then year on year, it is kept there and an inflation factor added to increase it, never for it to be questioned again. Then Government has the cheek to say we haven’t got money for care for the elderly. Piffle!

I may be swinging slightly toward what might be called a more socialist view of things, late in life, but I am also an advocate for small government and effective budgeting and rigorous outcome reviews.

The black woman says “Let’s jump across!”

The transgender lesbian says “Let’s jump across!”
The wheelchair user says “Let’s jump across!”

It should also have been glaringly obvious that the women in the photo are anything but Muslims or their supporters. They are ‘The Southall Sisters’ so yes men are banned, and they are protesting against the Muslim segregation of boys & girls!

The banners they are holding read Gender segregations is Gender apartheid and Gender Segregation is Discrimination.

They are about as close to a BBC approved version of the EDL as you’re ever going to get !

But in the article the BBC betrays its left wing liberal hate filled bias for everyone not Muslims with this paragraph:

About 20 schools – Islamic, Jewish and Christian – are thought to have similar segregation policies.

It’s completely irrelevant to the article and should never have been included at all, especially as it makes no attempt to determine the numbers between the different faiths.

Here is a disturbing story of the suppression of free speech and of Christians at Sheffield University (it’s it in Cleggs constituency).

In a well written and dispassionate blog on a private discussion Black Christian student Felix Ngole spoke that the Bible declare living an active homosexual life to be a sin. That was enough to see him expelled from campus. A Kangaroo court was convened and was headed by an LGBT rights activist, although she didn’t think it was relevant enough to tell anyone about the enormous conflict of interest (Quelle Surprise).

Perhaps though the most worrying part is the amount of money the University has spent defending its totalitarian decision. Even the BBC has reported on it, although it relegated the story as low as is possible to the regional news section of its website:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-41487286

However read the case from a different angle:

    http://www.christianconcern.com/our-concerns/education/the-case-of-the-politically-incorrect-student

    It ends with this paragraph:

“It is difficult to overstate the importance of this case. Basic freedoms in our society are at stake. It is not really about the politically incorrect student, it is about the politically incorrect Bible. Bishop Ashenden is right to point out the parallels with 1930’s Germany. This case is about state oppression of Christians. It shows the true intolerance of those who argue for tolerance. We await the judgment. In the meantime, your prayers and support (including on social media while we still can!) are appreciated.”

I saw a report in the Telegraph today that fewer and fewer 18 year olds are taking languages. Yet these are the younger siblings of the EU loving snowflake generation who espoused the virtues of the EU and voiced the possibility that they may one day go and work in France or Germany . Indeed for many of the ‘flakes this one a key reason why they voted Remain and are so angry with the old fart Leave voters who robbed them of their future employment prospects abroad. But why are their siblings content to remain as monoglot as the thicko Leavers supposedly are? Suddenly I realised the answer, the ‘flakes and their siblings are so ignorant and narrow minded that they expect to be able to work in France or Germany without being able to utter a single word of the language.
The more I see and hear the flaky generation the more I realise that they know nothing about anything and are well behind where older generations were in their intellectual development. Basically they are pig ignorant , ill educated , children who demonstrate that the voting age should be increased to at least 30.

You are quite right. I can speak German, and in Germany you find many people, even educated ones, who do not speak English. On TV we see a subset of foreigners who do speak English, by definition we do not see the ones who don’t.

Even in the Netherlands, a friend tells me that once you leave Amsterdam, you cannot bank on people you meet speaking English. It is indeed the international language of business, but it is far from the case that the ordinary man in the street can speak it.

The lack of a common language is another of the many reasons why the dream of a United Europe is a pitiful farce, and any snowflakes who think “everyone can speak English” are in for a painful shock.

    Forcastotainment

Don’t be misled by Philip Avery’s old school BBC delivery and apparent gravitas – informally rechristened “Phil” he pops up on the BBC News Channel showing us he can dole out his whether or not weather forecast teasers like a newly graduated peroxide autocue kitten.

“24 degrees!” he promises from his soapbox, as though he’s some snake oil huckster

Reaching far out into mid-Atlantic “We’ll be talking about this hurricane from Monday onward” he pledges – although he qualifies somewhat that this will be an ex-hurricane (someone call John Cleese) no matter that it’s an ex-hurricane, our Phil just nailed it to the BBC perch.

All to the backdrop of some library picture of a fallen tree. Just so we know what they look like. And yes, if this one fizzles out or misses us by nautical miles , then at least we experienced it by proxy or subliminally or something.

Oh how the once mighty BBC weathermen are fallen. Libary picture of a broken down hobo Philip Avery in a gutter – weather watcher Pennine Tramp Spotter? (someone call Shelley – Percy Bysshe not the newly graduated College of Journalism gal) “My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair! ”

We’ve become accustomed to the BBC reaching for the moral imperatives (‘It is 5 degrees warmer than it SHOULD be in January….’)

Today our Phil suddenly introduces the brand new concept of weather grievance: “If you’re feeling hard done by, it’s because you are near a weather front….” (blame Brexit if Global Warming don’t fly)

“Phil” Avery is in a class of his own. The way he conducts his forecasting is preposterous, and is a mixture of opinion (“there’s sadly going to be a lot of rain”), unwanted advice for we ignorant listeners (“don’t forget a coat”, “take an umbrella”. “wrap up warm”), crazy phrase-making (“bit and piece of rain”) and imprecision (“perhaps 11, 12, 13, 14 degrees or thereabouts”). His forecasting is guaranteed every time to make me roar out loud at the radio – “for God’s sake, just give us the simple forecast”. [‘There will be some light rain showers with temperatures between 11 and 14 degrees’ – is all that’s needed]. I think we know what clothes to wear, and that forecasts of temperature are, by their very nature, always ‘thereabouts’. As you can tell, that man winds me up something terrible.

In the days of the last Labour government, I used to wake up everyday to the Today programme and be so enraged as they started every day with, ‘Today the Labour government will….’. Maybe I am getting older but I am often awake at 6 a.m. and the dulcet tones of Misha and Sarah et al just send me back to sleep.
However two items today caught my attention. The first was Sarah Montague’s stupidity when interviewing an Australian doctor about the flu epidemic there. The doctor mentioned that more children than usual had died there this winter from ‘flu. Cue Montague’s amazed interjection, ‘children have died?’. I suspect that she thought she had got a headline, however the man then patiently repeated that children died every year from flu, just this year there were more than usual. He went on to say that the British government had done things (like having children inoculated) that reduced the UK’s chance of the flu outbreak this winter being as bad as the Australian one – this was something that Sarah did not want to hear – so once he started praising the UK government, she cut the interview!
I also heard an interview this morning with Jeffrey Sachs, professor of Economics at Columbia at 7.35. Well he ticked every box.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0977v7w (link if you can face listening to him).

I quote words directly from his interview below.

Growing inequality – especially in the high income world – produced environmental disaster – redistribution of income – high carbon to low carbon economy – US under Trump doing the opposite – Trump trying to raise inequality – Trump’s policies mean spiritied – Trump is a sociopath – his policies to cut taxes for the rich and deny benefits for the poor – hurricane in Puerto Rico caused by the climate policies in the US – all sociopathic – Trump’s motives are deliberate – Trump is psychologically ill – malignant narcissistic sociopath and a racist – this is the grim reality – (Sarah – Brexit, IMF had to temper their forecasts of Armageddon but we are beginning to see the negative effects) – clear that companies are moving parts of their operations out of London – Trump blamed US ills on China, Muslims and Mexicans whereas it was the profound inequalities of income within the US – poor hit upon by the rich who own the political system.

This man is apparently an advisor to several UN Secretary Generals, all I can suggest is that UN Secretary Generals should pick their advisors more carefully. How did this man get to be interviewed on the Today programme, I cannot possible imagine. (OK sadly, I know exactly why he was invited). But I think even he went over the top as either I heard Sarah laughing in the background during the interview or she was stifling a coughing fit.

Nothing wrong with that of course except for the usual stench of hypocrisy that surrounds these Labour women e.g. aboott and Harry , who support the abolition of selective schools and private education but use it for their own children. BBC WS history show yet again promotes political narrative
The subject matter of programmes in the BBC World Service radio history series ‘Witness‘ is often tied to an anniversary on or around the time of broadcast. That, however, was not the case in the programme’s October 4th edition – titled “Israel Withdraws From Gaza“.

Unusually, presenter Mike Lanchin travelled to the Gaza Strip to make a programme less than nine minutes long and also produced a filmed version which appeared on the BBC News website’s Middle East page on October 4th under the title “‘My house was occupied by Israeli soldiers’“.
    https://ukmediawatch.org/2017/10/11/bbc-ws-history-show-yet-again-promotes-political-narrative/

In the audio version listeners heard a substantial amount of commentary from Lanchin himself, much of which was inaccurate and failed to provide them with the full story. In his opening words, Lanchin described the Gaza Strip as “Palestinian territory” without providing any explanation of the area’s history – and not least the fact that it was included in the territory designated by the League of Nations for the creation of the Jewish homeland.

Lanchin: “Today we’re going back to 2005 when Israel completed its withdrawal from the Gaza Strip after nearly 40 years of occupation. Around 8,000 Jewish settlers were evicted and all Israeli military personnel were withdrawn from the tiny Palestinian territory. I’ve been hearing from one young Gazan woman who was there when the Israelis left.”Listeners then heard archive recordings from the time of the 2005 disengagement followed by the programme’s sole interviewee, Maisoon Bashir

Maisoon Bashir describes herself as follows:
“I have been asked to introduce myself. I am wondering how I should, as an activist or a journalist, who tries to raise the voice of Palestine? Both are true, but I prefer to introduce myself just as a Palestinian girl, because my nationality is a testament to the authenticity of my homeland and the injustices borne by my people.”

Her activism is given a platform at a site called ‘We Are Not Numbers’ that is linked to a political NGO currently called ‘Euro Med Rights’ (which has Richard Falk as chair of its board of trustees) and which was founded by a self-described “social justice activist” called Pam Bailey who is also associated with Code Pink. Bashir’s writings have also been posted at the Hamas linked outlet MEMO.

BBC audiences, however, were not informed that they were in fact listening to a political activist (in breach of BBC editorial guidelines on impartiality) and neither were they given any insight into how Mike Lanchin was introduced to her story or why he visited the Gaza Strip (where the BBC has a staffed local office) to interview her.

Once again we see that the radio show touted by the BBC World Service as a ‘history’ programme is in fact used as a vehicle for the advancement of one-sided political narrative.

You will recall that the Monica Lewinsky case came about because Clinton was being sued by Paula Jones, who said that when she was a state employee in Arkansas, Clinton, then the Governor of the State, had exposed his penis and asked her for oral sex.

Eventually, the case led to Clinton being impeached in the House of Representives. He also had to pay Paula Jones $850,000, he was fined for contempt of court and was disbarred as a lawyer.

This is quite apart from accusations from women such as Juanita Broaddrick that Clinton actually raped them.

Quite the role model isn’t he? A real poster boy for “consenual sex”, nothing like Harvey Weinsten at all.

There are some arguments worth having Maxi, but this isn’t one of them. Clinton and Weinstein are both sleazy sexual predators, cut from exactly the same cloth.

Wow Snopes comes up with mostly true for those claims
\\In April 1999, U.S. District Judge Susan Webber Wright found Clinton in contempt of court for giving false testimony in the Paula Jones sexual harassment trial and fined him over $90,000:
In 1994, Paula Jones filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Bill Clinton. Thar case dragged on for four years (while Clinton was serving as President) before it was finally settled in November 1998 with a check for $850,000://

The News Quiz has just told me that the pound Sterling tanked today. It is up 0.4 of a cent against the Dollar and 0.3 cent against the Euro , nearly one whole cent against the Canadian Dollar, up against … well I could go on at length. Among major currencies it is down against the Japanese Yen and the Aussie & Kiwi dollars.

If that is a collapse or tanking then we could use a few more trading days like today.

The beauty of the BBC and Channel 4 is that if THEY think that Trumps making a hash of it over Iran? If Obama, John Kerry and Clinton-the E.U and Labour?…all think he`s wrong…well, we all KNOW that he`s correct.
No need to even look into it anymore-they hate Trump anyway, so when he steps on their liberal corns; then it`s a joy to hear them squeal-and he`s going to be correct.

Hillary on the One Show: Why did she lose? It was misogyny what did it! No, it was THE RUSSIANS what did it! No it was cos Americans don’t like successful women! But hey, BUY MY BOOK! Did the interviewers ask Hillary some tough questions? About the Clinton Foundation? About Bill? You gotta be kidding. For the BBC it was all about ‘how to bounce back’! AND BUY HER BOOK!
And what a golden opportunity to bash Trump again, something the BBC has been doing DAILY, since he was democratically elected. Sopel makes a living from it. And O’Donahue. Hillary says Trump is ‘dark and divisive’. A ‘cry from the White nationalist gut’. Same stuff as ol’ Sopel gives us every second day, non-stop.
Hillary says ‘ Trump is deeply troubling’. He is ‘visceral’. SO BUY THE BOOK. Emily Pankhurst was mentioned. Goodness, what A BIG SURPRISE: BBC makes it about women’s rights. And Hillary, of course, is NOT divisive. NOT visceral. Nope, it’s those white men; aren’t they bad, bad, bad? Some of them had the nerve not to vote for Hillary! Maybe that’s what did it? (In the back of one’s mind a shocking thought drifts vaguely about: could it be there were even some women who didn’t vote Hillary? Who voted for ‘the thug’ as R4 described him..? Treacherous stuff, this Democracy business)
It’s also about Hillary’s British connections (she’s one of us, you know). And Hillary is part Welsh. The interviewer makes her say ‘vote for Hillary in 2020’ in Welsh. Will they invite Trump next and make him talk Gaelic? (Joke) Buy her book. We’ll find out about that naughty, terrible Trump, who’s sitting where SHE should be! And do we want HIM in Britain? Course not. Nasty stuff, this Democracy business. Just look what happens…

Apologies if this is not new, too many posts to read all of them.
I lost my internet connection for a week recently.
Whilst waiting for normal service to be restored, a phrase so well known to older BBC users, when the BBC was, well the BBC, I noted a modern bbcism which I will now relate.

Radio 4 last week, the arse-antics party were in receipt of some bad publicity due to the behaviour of one of their former perverts. Former in that he is dead, not that he stopped his perversions. They never do.

Cyril Smith. But albeeb, bless them, could not waste an opportunity. They read section 22975.512.129.35 of the
    mass-murderering communist propaganda handbook.

So, before the latest news about the list of sins of this fat LibDem pervert, was broadcast, the bbc treated us to
an oration given by the said fat pervert, denouncing Enoch Powell’s “rivers of blood speech”.

The bbc don’t you just hate them? Well I do, 24/7/366.

‘Have I got news (aka bias) for you’ this week
First 8 minutes anti Tory bitter and twisted bias
Then just as 20 seconds of anti Corbyn beckoned, treezer’s swipe at him about Venezuela was cleverly turned back on her by the programme. Then on to the Grant Shapps story, subtext Tory revolt.
After ‘only’ 11 minutes of this tripe we go on to question 2, about…….a Nobel Prize winner linked to urinating accurately.
Later we get a story about how awful was a recipe of Margaret Thatcher, and the predictable anti Trump polemic.
Not a single Labour Party comment.

And mysteriously, this ‘topical’ programme managed to take 23 minutes to mention a story which has had quite a lot of coverage this week, about the predatory sexual approach of a multimillionaire Democratic Party contributor and the fact that many millionaire actresses have remained silent on the issue until now, surely prime material for an impartial satirical programme. But after all of 2 minutes it was time to shoehorn in another anti Trump narrative.

    i wonder why?
Well I know. It’s because the programme is total biased shit.

Me? I haven’t watched HIGBFY for years now. Hislop and Merton have simply become narcissistic bores, and in fact you have to go back to Angus Deaton, who was genuinely quick witted enough to keep them in their original subsidiary roles – which is why they worked so hard to get him replaced.

No, like most things concerning leftists, it was all about the money. Now they are the two stars of the show, the guest chairman is just their stooge. And the programme has become an unwatchable pile of left wing horse shit.

Good job that the BBC doesn’t depend on anything as vulgar as ratings isn’t it?

Sunday 1st Oct. Marseille #France, a clandestine #migrant stabbed 2 women to death in #Marseilles
The man was just being released from a police station
It was a police screw up, they’d arrested him for shoplifting. Finding that he was illegal with no documents they should have started the deportation process by putting in the deportation centre. However they assumed wrongly that it would be full so they let him out on the street.
