Hi G, the Governments first interest is to protect their own interests, of themselves and their mates inside and outside of Parliament.

Look at how long David Cameron and George Osborne stuck around once they felt they could no longer gain by staying in Parliament. They lost the political argument and decided to get out. It is all self-interest. They were examples of careerist politicians.

Don’t forget the old groups. Saw the name of the French one the other day, come up in something or other. What was it? Action Directe?

Martin Schulz (Socialist candidate up against Merkel next month), IIRC, was pals with Rudy Dutschke.

Some of the Palestinian groups had ‘white Chapters’ in Europe in the 1960s & 1970s.

With the passing of time, it is hoped that old agitprop-ers mellow and take more of the Martin McGuinness route but don’t count on it. There may be plenty of ex-Stasi and similar who would take the chance to pop out of the shadows to try to even the score a bit in their direction.

Sorry, I’ve missed Diane Abbott so here come the twitter replies …

We are crippled as a country already, more immigrants should be returned not brought in!!!! Get a grip, for once will you!!

Immigrants are not crippling this country the Tories are, the tax breaks for the millionaires/conglomerates alone would bankroll the NHS

Couldn’t care on your views when you only blame one party, all guilty. Our infrastructure is suffering due to influx of immigrants. End of

Ok believe what you want, tax experts believe that Google alone owes us 5 billion but yh it’s that guy from Syria who gets £80 a week JSA

5bn is about a 1/5 annual spend on benefits just in London, stop talking out of your backside

Mind boggling most seem to have left their wives & children behind!!!

Diane, don’t think I am being smart – but in your heart of hearts do you really believe you are cut out to be Shadow Home Secretary for all?

Lets hope you’re never in charge of immigration or you’ll be inviting more Mulsim terrorists in to the Country. Delusional beyond belief!

If I was going to get a free house and shit loads of benefits for doing nothing for the rest of my life, I’d cross the bloody Sahara.

How many have you put up in your house?!

That desperate that they pass through many countries to go live in bushes in Calais? I’d be thanking the first safe place ive arrived in

If you’re desperate then the first country of safety would be sufficient, not travel half way round the world.

Their wife’s must be scary they’ve left them all behind

How many to build your new Britain Diane – one million, two? And then the new houses, care homes, hospitals, language centres and schools.

Young men of fighting age usually. Opening borders to Isis, Thankyou government..

Tell that to the families of terror victims, do one Abbott

Why is it our governments responsibility to house and feed the world?

I wish people would sue these governments for failure to keep their citizens safe – given what they know about the immigration situation. Morocco, where Europeans go to holiday, and Richard Branson has a posh, very expensive hotel. So why are these men seeking asylum?? to live in Europe? And clearly, it is not terrorism to kill in response to having an application refused, it is retaliation and should be stated as such by everyone. Let us in, or we will kill you.

When I get really upset about this stuff, AndyPandy says the European leaders will never change, and it can only end one way.

Be assured (and relieved?) that we, your British Government, is promoting the import of more muslim terrorists as rapidly as we can, indeed, at precisely this point in time, you can be assured that yet another terrorist is clandestinely entering the UK either by air, land or sea. We like to think that we will always follow the wishes of our public……….

Yeah, I am, but I think the European governments may actually be worse!! For instance, why hasn’t the Spanish govt put an immediate stop to any travel between Spain and Morocco, so that as Trump put it ‘they can figure out what the hell is going on’? Even if it was challenged in the courts, they could manage it for a short time and give the impression that they have a spine. What they are basically saying, with lack of action, is, we know they’re here, but we’re not doing anything about it, so it’s all part of living in a big city/country with uncontrolled immigration.

Carwyn Jones, doesn’t trust Ministers in relation to Brexit. Well, we might all feel that way however, it has to be said that Mr Jones was clearly hoping to follow the EU gravy trail of his hero Neil Kinnock and Brexit has knocked that one in the head.
The problem with politics right now is that it cannot contend with the speed at which all things change. Personally, I think the Government ought to explore giving the people an ongoing say in things that affect them in between national elections. I favour the ‘thumbs-down’ approach of the Roman Empire as a vote to putting politicians down – immediately. So, thumbs down to Carwyn Jones. Can we add Sopel’s name to the list?

Beeb website reports with relish on gender pay gap in Hollywood. They would never report on the gender pay gap in fashion modelling, how pretty girls are positively discriminated against for housing, service and receptionist jobs and how women receive much more lenient prison sentences. What about an article on the gender health gap and be scandal of men dying younger and receiving less funding for male only cancers?

Catching someone using racist language; ostensible female ‘oppression’; reporting on Islamic attacks without mentioning Islam. The perfect day in the office for a Beeb staffer.

They never compare like with like – that’s what is so annoying about the ‘gender pay gap.’ If you were paying a man and a woman different rates to watch dishes for 40 hours a week it would be an issue. At the BBC you have men and women in all sorts of different roles, with different hours and relative market value. For all their virtue signalling, the Beeb realise how hard it is in reality to pay men and women the same when they are not doing the same jobs and the same amount of work. It is not fair on Chris Evans to have to come up with a whole show every day which gets 10 millions listeners to be paid the same as someone who just reads from a Teleprompter.

Lies, spin and deflection. They never play with a straight bat.

What is it about British “Asians” or Dark Young Men with “Islamic names” and rape?

    Two stories from the BBC.
    a) Confined to the BBC English News Section only:
Headline: “Gang raped woman in revenge on rivals: They abducted and raped a woman in revenge for the kidnap of an associate by a rival operation.” Notice how the BBC justify the rape as a revenge on rivals – rather than just leaving it as raping a woman headline.

Click the link and the BBC tells us … “Abdirahman Abukar, Abdirahman Kadir and Ibrahim Mohammed carried out a series of attacks when they went to Exeter to take over the heroin and cocaine market in the city … They were found guilty of rape, false imprisonment, kidnap and wounding with intent. Abukar and Kadir were jailed for 23 years and Mohammed for 15 years. … The charges related to three attacks carried out across Exeter by Abukar, 19, of Alum Rock Road, Birmingham, Kadir, 21, of no fixed address, and Mohammed, 18, from Birmingham.”
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-41014363

    b) A story confined to the BBC UK news section only (story is one hour old). Headline: Girl fights off woodland sex attacker. Click on the story and they are looking for an “Asian” guy who tried to rape a 10 year old girl.
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-surrey-41015851

Notice how these stories are being downplayed. They are not on the BBC homepage nor BBC news homepage – they are restricted to the English News and UK News Section respectively. Story b) seems like a potentially huge story (it is a manhunt) so the BBC should have this on their homepage and news homepage – but at the moment they are downplaying the story.

Contrast that with the Geoff Boycott non story (he is being called a racist for saying if he had blacked up his face he would have received a knighthood by now) – which the BBC immediately promoted like crazy – it was the second story on the BBC homepage, and also headlined on the BBC News homepage, UK and English News sections and the Sports page.

Threes hour into the story of the live manhunt for the “Asian” who attempted to rape a ten year old girl in Surrey (story b) – and the BBC have reduced its priority.

It had been the top story in the UK news section when it first appeared, but three hours later it is reduced to a minor position and easily overlooked. It has not been headlined on the BBC homepage, nor BBC News homepage nor English news section. Meanwhile an “Asian” who attempted to rape the ten year old girl is on the loose and free to rape other girls and young women. Due to its importance I thought the BBC would have to promote the story but instead they are downplaying it and hiding it.
      http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk
      http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-surrey-41015851

In contrast the BBC have promoted the British Asian “hero of Barcelona” story onto the BBC homepage (and News homepage) – five days after the attack. The take home message the BBC are pushing is British Asian man Harry Athwal is a hero. The BBC are focusing more on him than the victims. In the video story we have an image of the “hero” while the dead child is pixelated out.

I have just been watching a programme about partition in India/Pakistan. BBC2 9pm Tuesday. It was delivered by a woman (naturally) and a Muslim (naturally) although she didn’t have her head covered. But it was all Britain’s fault for dividing to rule and destroying the sub continent before they left apparently. Now I have no idea how correct she was in what she had to say but there was no acknowledgement that Britain had been fighting in Europe and that WWII had been taking place and probably the British government was quite busy on the home front. But this woman lives in the UK ‘her adopted country’ she said – I cannot understand why, if she dislikes the British as much as she said in the programme, why on earth she wants to live in Southall. And quite frankly, these days, I no longer believe anything I watch on the BBC because I know it will be from a particular viewpoint and there will be no balance.

Actually, I think the woman was from a Sikh family who had to flee what became Pakistan. At the start of the program there was an inference that the British were to blame but as the story unfolded it became clear that was not entirely the case.

      • Deborah says:

Sorry yes Roland you are right about Gurindra Chadra being a Sikh (as I have read on the DM review) – I missed the beginning of the programme and assumed Muslim from something she said – but the DM like me, picked up that she was constantly saying that the troubles on partition were all the fault of the British. At one point she said the British could have stopped rioting in Calcutta ‘just like that’ as she clicked her fingers without explaining how.

Apart from the end of WWII in the run-up to the liberation of Burma and a possible assault on Japan, the entire European population never rose above 150,000. In other words, there are more Indians living in West London today than there were Europeans living in the entire Indian sub-continent.
A revealing episode is in Attenborough’s dreadful Gandhi movie. Gandhi wants to hold a rally; the British, fearing civil unrest, send two soldiers to intercept and they tell him “We don’t want your sort here”. The bespectacled fakir points at the crowd and replies “Well they clearly do (ho, ho, ho)”. Attenborough’s purpose here is to humiliate and point fun at the British, illustrating how ridiculous and out of touch they were, thinking two men could control a crowd of 20,000 or whatever it was. But Attenborough is 180 degrees wrong: the message is the exact opposite, as that is exactly what did go on and two officers were expected to and usually would defuse a situation with a quiet word. The occasions when Sikh policemen with lathis were needed were rare, the occasions when sepoys with Lee Enfields were needed vanishingly so. This changed somewhat in the run-up to independence and following the publication of the Government of India Act 1935, but the fact remains that India was generally ruled with the lightest of touches and largely on a co-operative basis. Considering that the Europeans were outnumbered 2000:1, it could not have been done on any other basis.

Ian, you are correct. Colonial administrators were often quite young men in their twenties who had to administer justice and keep order over huge tracts of land and large populations with a minimal force of arms. But the liberal media likes to perpetrate the idea (by concentrating on things like the Amritsar massacre, which were the exception, not the norm) that the British Empire was only kept going by brutal violence and mass suppression. This gets round the difficult problem (for lefties) that most of it (especially India) was set up and governed with the consent and collusion of the native population.

They then show cased a CH4 program about ISIS , they then asked a British family about their TV habits, all Muslim, now they are waxing lyrical, about the female rugby team.

I grew up near Claygate. I learnt that girls are never safe in wooded areas when peculiar men are luking in the shadows. That, after all, is the meaning of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. I once imagined that I lived in a brighter world where my daughters would be less troubled, and more able to deal with, the peculiar men. I now put those imaginings down to youthful naievity. I can now see that the powers that be have been busily cultivating the undergrowth of a wider spreading, and even darker, malevolence. What is the point of having female children in Britain? Why on earth would any intelligent, informed, human being living in the UK choose to bring female children into a globalised patch of land where Sharia law will be the order of their days on this earth?

I remember seeing those photographers being ferried away in transit vans, and wondered how they could live with themselves. I wonder where they are now, and how they feel now that its all being publicised again.

a2) BBC publishing images of Yemeni babies and infants saying hundreds of thousands of Yemeni children will die and millions of Yemenis will die inferring there is an urgent need for the UK and its citizens to do something about it.

Note the numbers quoted are pure invention. Also the use of ill babies and infants for pure propaganda purposes – while British and European dead due to Islamic Outrage are pixelated out.

Re Yemen, it pops up periodically to divert attention or when there is a lull in news, probably under directive from the UN. I’m afraid the UN has shot itself in the foot… It has used propaganda too much and I am saturated. I have been browsing various websites including Breibart, New Observer, Politico etc and I came across this post in a comment section followed by 2 responses. Is this true? If so, then it is clear why so many muslim leaders in this country rarely speak out about terrorist atrocities. You learn something new every day. I expect many of you here will know all this but I thought I’d share it for those who may not know – like me.

    1. Muslims have their six lies that are tenets of Islam. It is perfectly reasonably not to trust Muslims based on the fact that lying is categorized for Muslim’s convenience.

Taqiyya (Shia) or Muda’rat (Sunni): tactical deceit for the purposes of spreading Islam.
    Kitman: deceit by omission.
    Tawriya: deceit by ambiguity.
Taysir: deceit through facilitation (not having to observe all the tenets of Sharia).
Darura: deceit through necessity (to engage in something “Haram” or forbidden).
Muruna: the temporary suspension of Sharia in order that Muslim immigrants appear “moderate”.

    2. Do I read your post correctly? These muslims have at least SIX words that mean very specific uses of lies and deceit? I knew these guys were despicable liars, but had no idea, until now, the specific forms of deceit they employ to obfuscate the truth of who they are. Now I know the feeling of mistrust for these “moderate” muslims who speak on tv are never, under any circumstances, to be listened to and definitely not to be trusted – EVER. Thank you.

    3. Did you know there are TWO korans? The Meccan one, which they use to “prove” they are peaceful and tolerant (the one they show to non- muslim useful idiots – and the Medinan one, written when their paedophile psychopathic prophet was thrown out of Mecca – which is the one all muslims must follow, which contains the hatred of Jews and others.

Have just posted this on the ‘#stopfundinghate Thread on B-BBC because the TODAY Programme (BBC R4 6-9am) this morning was quite remarkable.

    – – – – – – –
” Am just about to post on the main Thread but this little segment demonstrates the difficulties that news organisations, including the BBC, face. The BBC, however, are more than adequately resourced to deal with it, not least because they invariably have correspondents who can reach the scene.

There does appear to be an attempt to equivocate by finding an equivalent ‘hero’ to set against the ‘villains’ in these terrorist attacks.

    A dangerous game.

One day there may be none. What do you do then? Cheat a little? Cheat a lot? ”
    – – – – – – –

The BBC News as well as part of the TODAY Programme carried news of President Donald Trump’s speech at a political meeting. It concerned false news being presented by sections of the media. FalseNews and FakeNews appeared to me to be scattered throughout the programme, whether from Kenya (shortly before 7am) or in the UK later with a reference to an already broadcast TV programme about the Royal Family and Princes William & Harry and a new programme about to be aired on TV. The BBC made no mention – or apology – for the FalseNews/FakeNews they had broadcast after the first programme had been aired. They just took a little dig, not a big one, at the other broadcaster.

They were very happy back then, around the time of the first Diana programme, to repeat the assertion of Charles Spencer that the two Princes had been forced to walk behind their mother’s coffin at the State funeral. Indeed, they had encouraged him to do so on air, in my hearing, on Radio 4.

One of the problems that the BBC faces is that the Internet provides all sorts of search and cross-checking possibilities for the layperson. Also they have access to archived media, broadcast and print. They can also share memories and cross-check for any faulty recall all around the world and on Forums like this one. That is our strength.

It is currently a weakness for the BBC.

The BBC, by becoming an organisation with ‘an agenda’, risks increasingly being ‘found out’ again and again and again. The only antidote for the BBC is to abandon this ‘agenda’, the dangerous game they are currently playing, and instead go for, strive for, absolute integrity in news reporting. In those circumstances, when they occasionally miss the mark, they are likely to be forgiven.

But to keep manipulating news and comment to suit an agenda, their agenda, then the critical voices will rise from an occasional comment to a murmur, then to a babble and on to shouts for removal. President Trump has pointed the finger at them in a clear and straightforward way, now, on two separate occasions.

The BBC really needs to start on a wholesale reform right now, if not yesterday. It is becoming urgent.

    RE: Taqiyya.

My friend worked for the benefits office at Birmingham. He said the amount of fraud carried out by a particular community was mind-boggling; from the day they turned 18 every conceivable money claimed, often for phantom people; housing benefit paid to sub-letting family members; every trick in the book. It must cost us billions. This will never be looked into, whilst a comment about blacking up by a former cricketer is headline news.

We often hear how hard it is for certain communities to integrate; thus the Police must go through all manner of training and special efforts are made to recruit to various professions so that their make up reflects the community. They do not have a welfare state in Pakistan but they seem to have no problems adapting to it here. Integration is easy if you want to.
