The BBC have nowt to say about Scottish ‘Nationalism’, it supports [as does Corbyn] IRA nationalist terrorism as well as Muslim supremacist terror, it is also remarkably accommodating when reporting on Catalonian asperations towards independence…you won’t find any sly allusions to Fascism, the Far-Right, or Nazis in this report unlike any the BBC files on UKIP…and not a murmur about concentration camps or ethnic cleansing that the BBC so often slips into its reporting about ‘Right-wing’ ‘independence activists’.  What does a Catalonian ‘Fascist’ look like through the BBC lens?…

For Adrià Alsina Leal, professor of journalism and communications at the Central University of Catalonia and a Catalan independence activist, “solidarity is welcome from wherever it comes”.

Ah..an ‘independence activist’…sounds rather benign and left-wing doesn’t it?  Not an ignorant, white, working class little Catalonian then with a hint of the Nazi about him? [Wonder how the BBC would react if Catalan wanted to secede from the EU…bit of a conflict there at the BBC editorial meeting]  The BBC of course likes regions splitting off from the national as it breaks apart the nation state and makes the smaller independent regions then dependent, ironically, on the EU….The SNP a case in point…desperate to leave the oppressions suffered under Westminster for the sunny uplands of the EU superstate.

As for terrorism…well the real victims could well be Muslims…perhaps it is us that drives them to take up terrorism as a response….we must stop all this anti-terrorism activity…it just upsets the terrorists and makes them more terroristy….

Human rights activist Josep Maria Royo’s immediate response to the violence in Barcelona was to go on social media in an effort to calm people down.

“People were sharing images of their crime which showed children, blood, injured people,” he said.

“It’s easy to spread a message of hate against the Islamic population. We must stop these expressions of hate.”

While this was a moment for giving support to the victims, there had to be a rethink on how to combat terrorism, he said.

Mass surveillance and intensive use of the military and the police did not work, he argued. Instead, “human rights, tolerance and democracy” should be promoted.

“We are a city with a large number of immigrants, a city that wants to welcome refugees, a city that wants to offer a different model of response in the event of terrorism,” said Luca. “Now is a moment to think different.”

Sweet.  Bonkers, mad, suicidal… but so sweet.

Why was Spain attacked?  No idea…why was it Barcelona then?….

Why did they attack Barcelona, I asked.

“Because Barcelona is always in the papers,” she said. “When you’re a terrorist, no-one will pay attention if you attack a little village lost in the middle of nowhere, yes? But attack Barcelona and everyone is going to read about it.”

Hmmm…but again why Spain at all?

The Spectator points the way…..

If foreign policy isn’t to blame, could it be social deprivation, the other favourite excuse trotted out by apologists whenever there’s an Islamist attack in Europe?

For 700 years the Iberian peninsula belonged to Islam [after Muslims invaded] until the Reconquista drove out the last of the Muslim invaders in 1492.

This still rankles in the Islamic world with some scholars regarding 1492 as the year that Muslim influence began it inexorable decline. Osama Bin Laden made frequent references to the ‘tragedy of Andalusia’, and Al Qaeda justified the 2004 train bombings in Madrid that killed 191 people by saying ‘this is only part of the settlement of old scores with Crusader Spain’.

All this talk of ‘Crusaders’ and ‘invaders’ ignores one crucial historical fact. Who invaded who first? 1492 wasn’t about Christian imperialism, it was a reconquest of land subjugated by the Muslim invaders of seven hundred years earlier. But the Islamists never let the truth get in the way of a good Jihad.

Only one issue…the article fails to spell out fully that once a land is invaded by Muslims and held by them that land is forever considered ‘Muslim’. Hence Spain is still ‘Muslim’ and they have that duty to recapture it…hence no matter how you appease them they will still come….just as it is a Muslim’s duty to spread Islam and win converts in any land they are in and to, once they have sufficient numbers, make Islam the dominant religion and political ideology.

Learn this lesson or weep like a woman for what you could not, would not, defend as a man…..so un-PC on so many levels that.

In April of this year Barcelona City Council voted to support BDS against Israel proving conclusively that kowtowing to Palestinian terrorism is no protection against domestic terrorism. In other words, Karma.

The BDS movement in Catalonia to the carnage in Barcelona was EUROPE IS TO BLAME

BDS Catalonia “wishes to condemn the attacks committed” and “express solidarity with the victims and their relatives,” “we also condemn the responsibility of European governments in what they are doing with their foreign and domestic policies, and their complicity in human rights violations worldwide.”

In the only reference to terrorism in the statement, the authors wrote: “We also do not forgot the victims of military occupations, of wars and terrorism in Aghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Mali, Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and many other places where what happened yesterday in Barcelona is a daily occurrence.”

Finally, the authors added, “we emphasize our opposition to Islamophobia, Xenophobia and all forms of discrimination.” Solidarity, the authors added, “is our most powerful weapon.”

Judging from those statements the BDS (Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions against the state of Israel) has become yet another vehicle for Islam in Europe.

There really now appears to be a concerted and organised effort to promote and empower Islam in Europe, by all means possible, and on a number of separate fronts (legal, economic, political, liberal media, social media, student movements …). It has been a long held dream of Islam to conquer what it sees as its greatest enemy, Christian Europe.

If the muslims actually knew anything about history, they’d know that the Reconquista of Spain and Portugal was substantially complete two centuries before 1492. The great majority of the peninsula was back in Christian hands in the decades following the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa, in 1212. Even Gibraltar was captured thirty years before Granada fell.

In “The Myth of the Andalusian Paradise”, Darío Fernández-Morera points out that scholars who paint a rosy picture of Spain under muslim rule love to refer to “Andalusia”, or “al Andalus”, because that’s the name the Arabs mysteriously concocted, but they rarely refer to it as “Spain”, even though a version of “Hispania” was the name used by the Visigoths and the Romans and possibly by the pre-Roman inhabitants. He acidly observes that more truthful accounts of Moorish Spain never get published by university publishers, even if written by academics at the same university, because the study of Moorish Spain in universities is always subsidised by Saudi petrodollars.

Which goes to show that you can be politically correct and in bed with evil fossil fuel merchants at the same time, as long as you choose an approved academic discipline.
