Here’s an equality issue for you which The bBBC may very well not mention.

Each of the two Wimbledon men’s singles semi finals have required more games than the COMBINED total of games played by BOTH the ladies semifinals. Yet the pay for the men and women is the same.

Strangely, the equality industry has little to say on this high profile prima facie example of equal pay for unequal work. I wonder why not?

There was feminist consternation at the beginning of last week that mens’ matches were more prominently featured on the main Wimbledon show courts than womens’ Cue outrage from the equality industry.
Keen as we are on this site to back up our comments with evidence, I note in the Times today it is reported that tickets for the Men’s final are going on StubHub for between £4500 and £18000. Meanwhile tickets for the women’s final are going on the same site for between £1450 and £2450.

Clearly the public vote with their feet (and in this case wallets), despite what the equality industry thought poiice tell us to do.

And now we have the results of the doubles finals.

Mens doubles. 5 set marathon taking over 4 hours, 13-11 in the final set.
        Womens doubles . 2 sets 6-0 6-0 all over in 55 minutes.

Yep, the losing women did not win a single game. Strength in depth, eh?
And the men for their effort get the same pay as the women.

Equality? Total bollocks in my book.

You may remember that John McEnroe recently got into PC trouble by saying that Serena Williams would be about a 700-ranked player on the men’s tour. He didn’t apologise, good on him, but he forgot to mention that this experiment has already been tried.

Serena (and Venus) issued a challenge to a male player ranked around 300, to see how they would go. A German player, name of Karsten Braasch, took them up on it and drubbed them both in succession.

Serena (and Venus) then re-issued the challenge a week later to a male player ranked about 500. An acceptance came from the player ranked 500, who turned out to be Karsten Braasch — he’d lost in the 1st Round of the Aussie Open, lost a lot of ranking points, which caused him to lose 200 places in a week.

Equality and Leftism; weeds that only thrive where reality has been suppressed.

In August 2015, John McEnroe was interviewed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. At that time, McEnroe was 56 years old but still active on the seniors tennis circuit, Serena Williams was 34 years old and in the chase for a “calendar-year” Grand Slam. McEnroe mentioned to Kimmel that about 15 years prior, Donald Trump had suggested that he would like to put together a “battle of the sexes” match between McEnroe and Williams. McEnroe said he would face Williams but that Trump was not offering a big enough payout. McEnroe boasted that he believed he could take Williams in a tennis match, but he joked that he would not be so confident if it were a boxing match

The BBC will ignore it because they cannot bash the hated government for unequal pay. These are professional players who earn a fortune so no mileage in it for the BEEB.You won’t see Victoria Derbyshire emoting about it.

If the BBC really cared they could refuse to broadcast the tournament until equality of sets kicks in .But then I guess they know they would lose to Sky. Hypocritical Beeb .

Acid attacks on the rise. It is known to be mostly a minority, ethnic problem, imported from the the third world, and rife in the gruesome world of gangs, ‘honour’ crime, and increasingly a substitute for knives and guns. Yet the beebistan chooses to illustrate their ‘report’ on it with a case of ‘racists’ attacking a muslim, which is not at all typical but, of course, fits their relentless agenda of racism and islamophobia. As usual, whitie is the villain. They are shameless. Who will rid us of this troublesome organisation?

Parts of it were quite interesting but in between the reporter going ‘Eww they’re slimy!’ and the obligatory ‘Brexit’s going to ruin your industry, innit?’ questions – it was time to hit the off button.

Thankfully my exposure to the BBC is minimal these days. I occasionally switch on R4 when driving, if I’m not in the mood for music.
I turned it on earlier to catch PM with Eddie Mair, who had Lionel Blair reading ‘inappropriate’ remarks (compliments) that President Trump had made to women. I switched over whilst thinking to myself how typically childish it was, and that nothing changes at R4 with their team of 70 year-old adolescents.
A few hrs later I switched on again, just in time to catch ‘A Point Of View’, taking playground insults to another level.

  11. Mustapha Sheikup al-Beebi says:

Dreadful BBC bias was sustained on Radio 4’s ‘A Point of View’ (Friday 20:50-21:00).

The speaker Adam Gopnik is typical of the BBC’s favoured US voices: pro-Democrat, urban, Left-wing, globalist, “liberal” (sic., but in fact nothing like as liberal as he claims to be), anti-White, pro open borders, “intellectual” rather than practical, utopian rather than realist.

He described Donald Trump – after saying how difficult it was to categorize the US President in terms of anyone who had ever gone before – as a catastrophe for liberalism. He constantly likened Trump’s attitudes to mental illness, but with the now de rigueur apologies for this analogy to those with real mental health problems. There was the usual rubbish about Trump and women: nothing of course about Trump’s successful marriage or Bill & Hillary Clinton and their appalling attitude to women (e.g. Hillary’s phrase ‘bimbo eruptions’ to describe the periodic resurfacing of accusations from Monica Lewinsky, Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Elizabeth Gracen et al. about Bill’s infidelity and rape/forcing sex on women). There were hints about treason with Russia … but nothing about Obama’s deliberate blinding of the US intelligence effort to the dangers of Islamic terrorism and immigration, or Hillary’s sale of US uranium reserves to Russia and donations to the Clinton Foundation.

The scrutiny and abuse to which the BBC (and the globalist Left bubble) subject Trump wouldn’t be so bad if they had ever done the same for Obama or Hillary, both of whom should be tried for treason against the United States; but certain favoured people seem to be beyond criticism and so mountains of evidence against them are ignored while molehills are exaggerated when it’s Donald Trump.

Even allowing for its being one speaker’s point of view, this was appalling.

    [P.S. I didn’t see Mice Height’s piece above when I started writing.]

I heard an apt description of Trump vis a vis the MSM the other day, it likened him to one of those giant Chinese hornets which can attack an entire hive of bees and since they are immune to the bees’ venom; it can kill every bee in the place.
I thought it fairly accurate given the damage (possibly fatal) he’s done to the credibility and viewership of CNN recently. The unfortunate thing is that whereas virtually all the US MSM TV stations are in the private sector, here the most powerful and most damaging of them all is funded by legally sanctioned taxation which makes our own media homonculous immune itself, to any of the pressures that would prove terminal to privately funded broadcasters.

Absolutely correct, Scronker. Formerly, I was able to enjoy Beethoven’s Ninth in its totality at very regular intervals, but since those vile apparatchiks stole the ‘Ode to Joy’ theme (there’s an irony – where’s the joy?), I simply can’t stomach listening to the 4th movement. However, I have always preferred the other movements, especially the 3rd, so I’m consoled by that!

Sarpong is stupid and confirms it whenever she opens her bigoted mouth. I now avoid the Pledge like the Plague – which is what I will call it from now on.

Sadly I don’t think she’s alone in her generation, but I know when I was her age I believe I had a wider range of knowledge than this lot (and so did those I went to Secondary Modern with !!). Just watching BBC Newswatch and rather than the usual frustration and irritation I tend to feel a certain satisfaction this morning.
How come, you ask, were BBC news editors held to account, were presenters oblidged by audience complaints to promise to change their ways? No, of course not. As is often the case lately the BBC didn’t bother to send anyone onto the show to defend the indefensible.
And I think that may be the good news. Viewer complaints were many and varied. All of them valid. From crass news headlines about British players ‘crashing out’ of Wimbledon, to senseless scheduling, through inappropriate questioning of children in Grenfell Tower reports to over-sensationalising reports on that same news story with daft emotive music soundtracks. Then ‘badgering’ the Prime Minister about shedding a tear to arrogant agressive attacking interviews with politicians leading the tone of political debate downward toward a dangerous atmosphere of hatred. All of this adding up to a feeling that the BBC is arrogant, tasteless and self-righteous and is beginning to lose middle England. There’s a general sense abroad that if the BBC can’t even deliver Wimbledon fortnight in a way which pleases the home counties then what’s the point? Naturally our Samira Ahmed offers no solutions on Newswatch – not even a hollow promise that the BBC might change. All indications are that it will get worse. Overall we are left with the impression that many many ordinary middle-of-the-road viewers now consider the BBC to be – to employ a term Jack Dromey might, and did use, twice, on daytime live national tv – ‘shit’.
Perhaps it really will soon be gone.

I think Clegg mistimed his insane and offensive suggestion and was upstaged by Blair – applying – once again – to be president of the EU. Blair claims we won’t have to leave the EU because France and the Reich will do a better deal which Cameron failed to get. I think he sees himself as the reflection of Farage.

Blair had 15 minutes worth on al Beeb. I thought it was interesting that Robinson didn’t ask him whether he regrettted allowing Poland unrestricted access to Blighty on accession thus creating, by a huge instant rise in population, serious trouble in public services and people happy to vote Brexit. I know it’s not the only reason and I know that poles quite rightly want to improve their individual situation . But only uk and Ireland allowed instant unrestricted access.
This was blair s fault. He has dismissed criticism before by claiming the economy could deal with the estimated 64 thousand poles in year one – in fact it was probably half a million.

Looking more closely at the full festival programme I realised that it was stuffed full of lefties. Bear in mind that Ilkley is solidly Tory. This seems to me to be symptomatic of how the left has captured the arts and education in this country and even in a Tory heartland the organisers of the local festival are able to present leftist tripe and propaganda and deny any right of centre presenters a platform. Annoying. The bovine Tories must share much of the blame for this.

It has been said many times that the Right won the economic arguments years ago but the Left has won the social/emotional/cultural ones. Unfortunately, eventually the latter begins to have an impact on the former, something the Tories don’t seem to be able to grasp.

First Night of the Proms last night. BBC couldn’t help themselves. Amongst the (400 or so claimed) sea of white faces for the choral number, the BBC select three youngsters: one white (who throughout donned the expression and mannerisms of a sub-normal) and two blacks. Even of these chosen three, the cameras predominantly focused on the blacks apart from panoramic shots, ignoring the other 398 or so. When it came to the BBC Symphony Orchestra, virtually all free of foreigners, the BBC cameras just happened to be always attracted to the two or three Asian faces. I submit, the Proms poses the greatest challenge to the BBC’s pro-biased diversity team. Without doing a ‘Black and White Minstrel’ job on members of the orchestra they’re stuffed. Problem for the BBC is, as anyone that has/does play a musical instrument to any half-decent level will know, it requires determination over many years. The muzzies simply don’t have the staying power. That deficiency is a part of their cultural makeup – erratic and bellicose. Of course, the muzzies will have a, ‘get out of jail free card’ in that, in power, they will simply ban music as “haram’.
All in all, the Proms has now lost that, ‘something’ for me in the knowledge that it is now being manipulated to satisfy their multikulti desires.

How long, I wonder, before they start taking down statues of old and pale British males and females currently found in towns; cities; universities; schools etc because they no longer represent the majority of the residents; students; pupils etc now to be found there or are somehow deemed to no longer be politically or morally acceptable to remain?

I recall reading about a school which was quite high on the vibrancy scale and it had taken down the Roll of Honour boards for those of its pupils who had fallen in the world wars, as they held no relevance for the…er.. intake of more recent years.

ps Alex that’s quite funny, replace old bearded white scholars for modern bearded brown person’s of dubious scholarly achievements.

And ofcourse stating the main reason is, they being white for doing so, pure racism, blatant.

Times : Janice Turner: staggering hypocrisy from Abbott in parliament

Former minister Andrew Percy interrupted and said that some of the abuse was ‘driven by the language of political leaders’.

‘When you address a rally with posters of the severed head of the Prime Minister and don’t do anything about it, and when leaders say “ditch the bitch” in relation to the Prime Minister, this is the problem we have at the moment with this dehumanisation of each other in politics.’

    * Ms Abbott said they would have to ‘agree to disagree’ * ,
and said: ‘The type of racist and sexist abuse I get is not tied to any events in this particular election campaign.’

She also added that abuse was not just about politicians, and said: ‘Any woman that goes into the public space can expect this type of abuse.’

        Marky,
She can be clever without realising it – distracting criticism from her performance during the election – throwing sickies – having the Shadow Home sec job taken away. It’s not about colour gender or size . It’s just about competence – whatever colour of politics somebody is.

Politics has been rough down the ages – the sword hanging points in the House of Commons which parliamentary expenses claimed s love to point out as part of tradition.

If a politician can’t take it they should take their fat pension as there are plenty ready to put their snout in the taxpayers trough too!

I would not mind if Diane Abbott was thoughtful and interesting. But listening to her saps me of thought and energy.

Have a listen to Obama for a similar experience. You want to hear something interesting but it’s just words. At the end ask what did I learn from that person. The interview on Sky with Diane Abbott regards the Harris report sums up her knowledge and depth.

The Government’s ‘Prevent’ strategy appears to only relate to schoolchildren and students, ‘at risk of being radicalised’. Shame the scheme does not include other age groups, social classes and those generally at risk. The Government should extend the scheme to embrace ‘Hate Crimes’ also. As one OAP who believes he is being radicalised by becoming increasingly fixated and angry at being surrounded by people that patently hate me and are hostile to my way of life and ethnicity, it is vitally important that I should seek help right now as I am quite convinced, despite needing another hip replacement (and naturally despite Brexit) I am becoming increasingly dangerous and far more so that a 4-year-old coming to grips with the English language –

Ofcom head Sharon White is doing such a good job that’s just been given a 15% payrise
    to £430,309 yr

In other news LibMob figures criticises Ofcom for failing to top Sky takeover
“Ed Miliband, Sir Vince Cable, Kenneth Clarke, Lord Falconer, claim in a letter to the government that there was a “fundamental failure” in Ofcom’s investigation into the proposed £11.7bn takeover of Sky by 21st Century Fox.

The MPs say that the media regulator did not properly consider allegations of sexual harassment at Fox News and the phone-hacking scandal at the News of the World as part of a review into whether a combined Fox and Sky would be committed to meeting broadcasting standards.
… claim that the bar is met for a detailed investigation into broadcasting standards by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA),”

Ofcom defended its report. A spokesperson for the regulator said:
“We carried out detailed, evidence-based assessments, examining both broadcasting standards and media plurality aspects of the proposed takeover. The secretary of state will now decide on the next steps.”

We are bombarded with various begging ads on the tv, – one telling the plight of 10 year old little girls who when they reach 12 years are married off to men they don’t know, and have children themselves at age 14.

Today chatting to a friend who is a volunteer at a local hospice, she told me of a fellow volunteer (Islamic) who challenged another young Asian helper as to why she was there. The young girl said she wanted to be a doctor and was doing background work in the quest for her goal. According to my friend, the Islamic woman really laid into this young lass, saying she should be at home and married with children as soon as she started menstruating ! Even the Asian girl was taken aback, and retaliated by asking if she was expected to start bearing children at age 10 !!! There was a bit of a hoo haa over this, BUT this attitude is real amongst the Muslims, and makes a complete mockery of the begging adverts to help children abroad, when its on our own doorstep ! Of course they want the women to breed as much as possible – birth defects or not, so that world domination of Islam is a reality. Why are we the only ones to see this ???

The men’s game is much higher quality and brings in more money and viewers so they should be rewarded accordingly. By this logic, female super models should have to give loads of money to male models because male models are not as popular and do not generate as much income.

Why not share their prize money with the wheel chair players? So what if fewer want to watch the wheel chair game – isn’t it discriminating against people with disabilities to pay them less?

I just know the new Doctor Who will be female and the airwaves will be throbbing with SJW orgasms. Executives will be patting each other on the back for yet another progressive milestone reached. Never mind the acid attacks, death of free speech and FGN. A female Doctor Who! That wouldn’t make everything right with the world.

It is (another) one of Trump’s successes, unsung by the MSM, that illegal immigration across the southern border has plummeted since The Donald became POTUS; in Guatemala people smugglers have seen their “clients” evaporate, as word filtered back that illegals WILL be deported.

Now that Trump has gone along (twice) with the cucks in the congressional GOP, when they tried to tear down Obamacare and f****d it up, we should hopefully see him pivot to immigration and get THEM to go along with him to get the funding in place for the wall.

He needs to be rid of Rinse Penis and replace him with Steve Bannon as Chief of Staff, who is much more in tune with what the people who actually put Trump in the White House want to see get done and who was instrumental in actually getting him elected.
