Bar Marr

Marr is absolutely hopeless isn’t he?  Yet another interview with a Labour grandee, Corbyn, and it is red carpet treatment all the way with little in the way of demanding and probing questions…McDonnell was given a free ride and a very smug Corbyn couldn’t have got better treatment if he’d written the script himself.

Corbyn told us he’d had a ‘brilliant manifesto‘….no comment from Marr despite the fact that Corbyn’s manifesto was big, huge, on promises, but failed completely to provide genuine costings….the IFS saying Corbyn would have to impose the biggest tax burden on this country of any peace-time era.  Nor did Marr challenge him on the fact that Corbyn was obviously bribing voters, buying their votes….for someone who presents himself as the ‘ethical’ politician, different from all the rest, that deserves some comment you might think.

Corbyn told us that his approach was ‘challenging an economic consensus that impoverished so many people’.  Marr’s response?  ‘It clearly was’.

What?  Just look at the previous paragraph where it is clear Corbyn is just the same old ‘pork barrel’ politician of old…buying votes and corrupting the democratic process for short term electoral gain….‘challenging an economic consensus that impoverished so many people’ is the very last thing he is doing…he is in fact just entrenching that system.  Marr didn’t notice.

Then we had no challenge to Corbyn’s statement that he wanted a tariff free trade deal…which means no Brexit.  Surely a significant issue…not for Marr who just brushed it aside without comment.

No comment about Corbyn’s support for the IRA and Muslim terrorists despite the issue being of huge significance in the election and Corbyn doing a massive opportunistic u-turn on his support for terrorists.

Similarly Marr raises the subject of the ‘socially conservative’ DUP…but makes no reference to Corbyn’s close ties to Muslim conservatives or indeed his own extreme views.

Marr is well named.  It suits his style of interviewing.  Marred.  Maybe a new verb…to be ‘Marred’…to be let off the hook in a half-arsed interview.

With this man there will be security for Jihadis. If he ever gets into power, we might as well submit to Islam. May is bad enough, as she thinks that Islam is great but for the some Muslims. Its unfortunate that the BBC and the media have convinced people that Islam is good, when Islam makes Nazism look good by comparison.

I used to like Marr but recently he seems to be showing a bias – grilling some unnecessarily and letting others off. So Yesterday Michael Fallon was grilled on ridiculous aspects related to the DUP and despite answering the questions directly was pushed and Jeremy Corbyn – well, he was let off. Maybe Marr has been told to be more BBC!

About 10 years ago Marr said that Britain (or at least England) should be ethnically cleansed and homogenised. He also said that repression of criticism “can be a forced for good.”

Make no mistake, he’s always been a cunt.

Corbyn, McDonnell and all the rest of the Momentum brownshirts think they won this election. The sheer level of cognitive dissonance on display from these charlatans since the result is astounding. The msm is playing some kind of game with that – tacitly encouraging a misplaced sense of both triumphalism and entitlement. It’s as if Labour think they’re entitled to take Downing Street on the basis that Chairman Corbyn wasn’t resoundingly rejected by the electorate, as had been feared.

The Conservatives didn’t win a majority but they won the vote share and as such they are the winners. Which part of that don’t the communist goon squad understand? Is it the bit about democracy?

Alarmingly, my younger brother and his son both voted for Corbyn? What you may also like to know is that he was what you call gobsmacked when I told him that I and his Pastor and Wife voted Tory!? All he kept saying to me was “but Corbyn is the only one interested in the poor?” He seems to have cast-aside the threat that his young female groupies will move heaven and earth to change his mind re Brexit – then all hell will break loose on the streets – and that’s just what those commie rich kids dream for! Those wannanbe brown shirts don’t need the benefits/dole money as they are already financed by their silly rich parents!

I would also wish that act instigated the largest revolt in the UK in objection, ever. That, I would hope, dealt with other issues simultaneously – islam for instance. Should I dream on?

There is no reason in principle why we cannot have a full and clean Brexit, and agree trade between our respective countries on a zero rate tariff basis, and with simplified customs procedure.

In fact that would benefit all concerned. Since we run a balance of trade deficit with Europe, a zero tariff benefits Europe more than it does the UK, particularly Germany and France. In fact Germany ought to be extremely concerned at the prospect of tariffs, because of the trade surplus it runs not only with the UK, but also with the US.

As far as trade with Germany is concerned, the UK sells about £15 billion per year to Germany whereas Germany sells about £100 billion to the UK. The trade deficit from our perspective is about £85 billion, or about £7 billion per month. As regards trade with the US, Germany enjoys a surplus of $250 billion per year.

Germany enjoys this surplus because of the currency; it greatly benefits from the weak Euro. IF it had retained the DM, its currency would have been at least 40% stronger and this would have greatly reduced its competitiveness and hence it would have reduced the large surpluses it enjoys with the UK and the US.

Since the recession, there has been a currency war ongoing between various countries. This has enabled some countries to benefit at the expense of others. IF, tariffs are imposed, Germany runs the risk that the US and the UK will get together and impose a currency tariff on German goods. We know that Trump is a protectionist, and is not that keen on the EU, and has a bit of a soft spot for the UK. It would not take much to persuade Trump that Germany enjoys an unfair advantage due to its control and manipulation of the Euro and this is anti competitive. IF Trump were to agree, it may be that both countries would slap a currency surcharge/tariff on German goods say around 30% to reflect the unfair advantage that Germany enjoys from its manipulation of a weak Europe. Germany would not wish to see that since not only would it have a negative impact on its economy, a weakening German economy would shift the balance of power more towards France and Italy. There could be a small geo-political shift of power in Europe, and we all know that Germany wishes to retain control and dominate, so it cannot risk such a geo-political shift in power..

I am fairly sure that when the parties set their minds to it, they will appreciate the advantages of a zero tariff trade deal. Of course, the EU will wish to punish the UK to act as a deterrent to others, but I think that commonsense will prevail on tariffs and simplified customs procedure (advanced declaration, electronic documentation, only random inspection of goods etc). The EU will punish us in different ways, perhaps by a one off divorce bill. I am against paying anything, but maybe a one off payment in return for zero trade tariffs and simplified custom’s procedure may be a price worth paying. After all, we need to recognize that the EU needs to get something from the negotiation, but we ought not to pay a high price since we are in a strong position being the dominant trading partner at a time when the EU is in stagnation. It cannot presently afford to p1ss off its most important trading partner. Realism is likely to win through at the end of the day.

I saw a very revealing broadcast of Yasmin Alibhai-Brown doing the BBC Paper Review yesterday. She said how thrilled she was by the political chaos, and after denouncing Sinn Fein for not voting in Parliament [to undermine the Conservatives was the implicit premise] she excitedly told us how much she hates capitalism, and ended by asserting that she hopes that Britain gets a really bad deal from the EU.

Now you could say that as a Leftist she was very pleased by the instability, because it holds out the hope of a Corbyn government, and you could say that she does not understand how capitalism is an engine of prosperity, raising the living standards of the poor [whose living standards she supposedly champions], but by telling us she hopes Britain gets a bad deal she unwittingly revealed her hand.

It is not only that she has no interest in reality, it is pretty clear that all that counts to her is her feelings, what that statement reveals is that those feelings are pure hatred of this country. So we took her in as an immigrant, and she repays it with hate

In my mind she is on the same spectrum as those immigrants who a few days ago sought to stab as many people as they could in the street. I am not saying she smiled when she heard about it, although as a Muslim she does not seem to be ashamed that her religion could inspire people to do such a thing, but her passionate hatred of this country could not be clearer.

Anyone noticed the new cabinet make up.
    21 remainers
    7 leavers
with the top jobs also staying with remainers, chancellor and home sec.
Does May have a clue as to what we voted for.
I think she deliberately threw the election to get a result like this.
If you wanted to throw the election you would do exactly what May has done.
Why is nobody bringing this up on tv?
Why are we meekly accepting all this from those who are SUPPOSED to represent us, instead I think they resent us.

Just before the election May was 20 plus points ahead when we understood that she was going for a hard Brexit.

Brexit was hardly mentioned during the campaign.

When the manifesto came out with the triple attack on pensioners and the ridiculous return of foxhunting, the polls dropped to a single figure lead and we know what happened next.

Now, all I’m hearing is that May has lost the mandate for a hard Brexit because of the election result.

Why is nobody on tv pointing this out.
May was 20 plus points ahead BECAUSE of hard Brexit. It was the manifesto with no mention of Brexit which lost all the votes.
If May wants to rebuild her credibility she needs to push again for a hard Brexit.

The tv should admit they are mixing up the loss of votes (because of the manifesto) and somehow saying it means people have suddenly changed their mind on Brexit, which they haven’t.

Nice theory EG but, as we know ‘TV’ doesn’t work that way. If ‘TV’ can distort, mis-inform, antagonise, patronise, Islamise and as many additional ‘ise’s, including of course IS itself, that you care to think of, that is the reality we live with. And the good news is, as Momentum can now recognise that their tactics do work rather well, and sheep are sheep whatever their colour, relative intelligence and ethnicity ….it can only get worse.

My husband says that Labours commitment to leaving the EU and its single market need not be hung around their necks if they don`t stick to it. Because they lost the election, they`re not bound to manifesto commitments that they made.
News to me. As far as I`m aware, 83% of MPs are Tory or Labour, DUP.
      All for Brexit.
The 17% Remainers got pasted at the ballot box, so wh are we even entertaining the likes of Major, Mandelson,Soubry, Morgan and the other moaning minnies? We aren`t. But the BBC are. Needs to stop. Their bias is dangerous, and all consuming.

Cue loads of hate towards them from the snowflakes and virtue signallers.

TV stations are trying to paint the DUP as the devil’s own party when they are just Conservatives. A natural ally to May. More so it seems than the scotch conservatives which we are told want a ‘soft’ Brexit but that makes them good guys because the msm want that.

Maybe the stroke enfeebled him, Nick Robinson also seems diminished(albeit from a low baseline). Probably a good idea to get out of the BBC early.

“Leave EU” + “Happy With Any Outcome” = 65% and Remain in EU 35%. This should have been the percentage thrown around after the vote. Hope that makes you happier!

      Let us calculate: “Total Votes” – “Remain” = 46,500,001 – 16,141,241 = 30,358,760
      So “Leave EU” + “Happy With Any Outcome” = 30,358,760 / 46,500,001 = 0.652 * 100 = 65%

I’m sure those promoted to vote Remain would have included the undecided into their result. Leavers are inclusive and like to include everyone – especially those who couldn’t be bothered to vote. 52% is just misdirection.
