BBC backpeddling

Check out the BBC video…it claims Trump ‘inexplicably’ told the Russians the source of the intelligence….even the Washington Post has not claimed that….claiming only that it was the nature of the intel that could have revealed sources and methods…but offers no proof of course as to what was said….

“Our story says that the nature of the information provided would have allowed the Russians to ‘reverse engineer’ to discover the sources and methods. He said so much that they could figure it out.”

A while back we posted this comment on the BBC’s interpretation of what Trump meant when he said he had the right to share information with the Russians…

The BBC implies Trump’s assertion of his right to share facts with the Russians as an indication of guilt whereas of course all it indicates is that he shared facts about the terrorist threat….it says zilch about what those facts were or their security classification…

The BBC has suddenly added this qualification to their report in an update….

Mr Trump tweeted: “As President I wanted to share with Russia (at an openly scheduled W.H. meeting) which I have the absolute right to do, facts pertaining to terrorism and airline flight safety.

“Humanitarian reasons, plus I want Russia to greatly step up their fight against [IS] & terrorism.”

It is not clear if Mr Trump was acknowledging having shared intelligence secrets with the Russian officials, thus contradicting White House statements, or whether he was simply trying to explain what had been discussed.

So now not so sure he was admitting guilt….BBC is so eager to trash Trump they don’t get the facts right first time…happy to peddle anti-Trump fake news just to spin an aura of incompetence and recklessness around his Presidency.

Previous version of the BBC report here on Newssniffer.

The previous version…

In his tweet early on Tuesday, Mr Trump said: “As President I wanted to share with Russia (at an openly scheduled W.H. meeting) which I have the absolute right to do, facts pertaining to terrorism and airline flight safety.

“Humanitarian reasons, plus I want Russia to greatly step up their fight against [IS] & terrorism.”

A report in the Washington Post said Mr Trump had confided top secret information relating to an IS plot thought to centre on the use of laptop computers on aircraft.

    Summary.
Trump takes action, intended to thwart our enemies, and increase the likelihood of potential allies and friends becoming genuine allies and friends.

The BBC, being one of the enemies of the West, takes action intended to thwart such alliances and friendships existing, while posing as a party who is “assisting” in such action.

Do not give a penny to this vile organisation, with its vile staff, with their vile policies. Traitors, just dispose of them.

I was taught, well over forty years ago, that to get people to ‘do business’ you needed to like them, or at least try and like them.

All I’ve seen with President Trump is an appreciation of this edict; simply to get to a way to solve a situation, not to just crash everything, and scream and shout for nothing.

Of course, a journalist might see otherwise, and even a poor ‘reporter’ at the bbc will probably not understand this maxim, so there are always embarrassingly stupid ‘questions’ being asked by the likes of Kuenssberg and Robinson and of course, the result is a nondescript response, with little substance.

I just like seeing President Trump demolish the snowflake press at every turn, and that twit Sopel needs to learn to do a better job at representing the UK in such a place as Washington. I fear he really isn’t up to the job.

Just the usual BBC rubbish. I have stopped listening to it. There was a time when progressives dreamed of a decent approach to Russia but that was before the hated Trump.

CECUTT, as it was, used to fall back on ‘evolving the story’ when confronted with covering up intial misrepresentations, and will continue to flat out refuse to acknowledge it ever happened.

    No it doesn’t. It says;

According to the Washington Post… the President inexplicably told the Russians details about from where the Americans got certain information”

But apparently; “…it was [only] the nature of the intel that could have revealed sources…

    From the Washington Post:

“[officials said] Russia could use that detail to help identify the U.S. ally or intelligence capability involved.”

The BBC makes it quite clear these are claims made by the Washington Post. The BBC doesn’t make any of these claims. You are lying, Alan; plain and simple.

      ‘Quite clear’.

Tell it often enough, Maxicony; you could have a growing audience of Marines.

So ‘clear’ near every BBC headline is a specially edited mix of ‘quotes’, “quotes” and ‘analysis’, or a backside-covering question mark on a blatant punt, with only a hint of clarity in a distant paragraph.

You are simply a shill, Maxicony, plainly.

BBC has a habit of regurgitating crap news stories, as with Buzzfeed and Trump’s alleged antics in a Moscow hotel.

And we pay £4 billion a year for this second hand shite?

Still, keeps you in a handsomely-paid job Maxincony along with your big fat final salary pension.
