    Just a thought.
Is arachnophobia classed as racism against spiders? I don’t want them in my house so I throw them outside. I don’t want them taking over.
My family members are so afraid of them they just want them gone.
Is that hate crime against spiders?

    An interesting statistic.

Romanians now account for 1/325th of the population

Romanians now account for 1/20 of the UK Prison population

If we were allowed to send them back to Romania (The EU won’t allow it) then we could free up 4250 prison places.

At a cost of £50K pa for each prison place that means it’s costing us £2.125 million pa

That however does not include the costs to the victims, both material and emotional. I think it is utterly sickening that the rats in the HoL of the Liberal & Labour party want to keep these people in the UK to predate us. Shows how much they think of white people.

Thoughtful – I make it £212.50 million p.a. – I think you’ve got the decimal point in the wrong place. That would pay for a lot of hospital beds wouldn’t it?

    • maxincony says:

      Thoughtful, your post is nonsense.

The are 700 Romanians in UK prisons. That’s 1/125 (0.8%) of the prison population. They aren’t deported because of the European Convention on Human Rights (due to the state of Romanian Prisons) which is nothing to do with the EU.

      • Thoughtful says:

maxincony The figure would appear to be the number of EU nationals in UK prisons.

As for your comment that they cannot be returned due to the human rights act I say to you that is nonsense as they would have served the prison sentence prior to being returned and the state of Romanian prisons is therefore irrelevant.
It is EU law that foreign nationals cannot be repatriated save for serious crime which it appears only murder is serious enough.

        • maxincony says:

Thoughtful, EU prisoners can be transferred to prisons in their country of origin. This doesn’t apply to Romanians for the reasons I gave above.

If now you are claiming that your post was about returning Romanian prisoners *after* they have served their sentence; then your assertion that “we could free up 4250 prison places”, makes even less sense than it did before.

But by all means keep up that excellent pick and shovel work.

I mentioned this to an East European friend and her reaction was to question how many of these were ‘real’ Romanians and how many were Gypsies from Romania, whom she did not consider to be ‘Romanian’ at all. I have found the same attitudes expressed by Bulgarians, too.

What the BBC never tell you is most of them are actually gypsies who just happen to hold Romanian passports as the governments of East Europe seized the opportunity to rid themselves of a centuries old problem by issuing passports and pointing them west.
The results can be seen in the piles of human excrement around Marble Arch and the gangs of aggressive beggars hanging around the cash points along Oxford street ,while the women and children go about their shoplifting expeditions.

I freely admit I am stocking up on millions of glass coca cola bottles so I can make millions of molotov cocktails so I can target all foreign businesses straight after brexit. I will start with Audi and Lidl then also take out any chip shops selling frankfurters next to proper patriotic “British” Fish and chips!

As for VW drivers they better watch out too I have mobilised the “The Aryan Anglo Peoples Liberation front” to throw english bricks at any VW that dares to overtake any British cars. Once we have destroyed all VW s on UK roads we will move onto french cars, I will personally set my sons Peugeot on fire to be quickly followed by my wives car (she does not know this yet so please keep it to yourself).

My “Peoples army ” will then move into the high street beating up anyone who has a german name or who is in a pub drinking trendy german lagers rather than Spitfire bitter. Also anyone ordering “french fries” in a pub may also feel the blunt end of my shillelagh!

I must say if it hadnt been for brexit I would never have thought of doing all this stuff – Makes me feel all all brave and patriotic and ready to get the ball rolling on the “Far right backlash” This is not hate crime just real “British Patriots” justice!

I have just read a comment on the Daily Mail web site following an article about ‘how to make perfect scrambled eggs’. I know, I know, I should have better things to do with my time. But the comment was how the cost of eggs has gone up significantly since Brexit, and only due to Brexit, and the DM should give recipes for cheap meals which are the only thing the commentator could afford because of Brexit. I know this was utter rubbish – but does she really believe this rubbish and what part has the BBC to play in her believing this utter rubbish? PS eggs in my local shop are still £1.10 per half dozen – so still under 40p per portion for protein by my reckoning and still good value.

Can someone explain what is an “EU citizen”? If it is someone who is a citizen of one of the countries that are still stuck in the EU, then it appears I am such a thing.
I hope my rights will be protected after Brexit.
      Just kidding.
I suggest these foreigners who have come here because they have a better life than they had in their native country have a simple choice put to them when Brexit finally happens.
1 – leave Britain and dwell in one of the poor be-knighted places that remain in the EU.
      or
2 – prove their worth and commitment to this country and apply for British citizenship.

Looks like a fabricated piece. Anyone who has resided in Britain for 5 years can apply for citizenship and is automatically granted in most cases, especially for those from EU countries. I suspect a German was chosen for the article because, well, they are just like us aren’t they and the average Brit wouldn’t have quite the same sympathy towards, say, Romanians, Latvians, Lithuanians etc nudge nudge.

Trump – Trump’s UN envoy: Israel will ‘never again’ question US support, at the UNHRC
“The UNHRC, which includes member countries cited for mass human rights abuses, is poised on Monday to adopt at least five anti-Israel resolutions, prompting outrage in the Trump administration over what officials described as the council’s unjust bias against the Jewish state.
The action on these items has prompted the Trump administration to boycott the council and refuse to attend the Monday meeting, according to administration officials apprised of the situation who spoke with the Free Beacon.
The boycott comes on the heels of the resignation of a Jordanian U.N. official who had sought to advance an anti-Israel agenda opposed by the United States and other nations.
Trump administration officials said the increased pressure on the U.N. is part of a larger effort by U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley to significantly reform the international organization and root out those who use it as a platform to push anti-Israel initiatives”.

SNP strategy is one of extortion against the English taxpayer.

As an established political party – with all the benefits of MSP/MEP/MP salaries, the advantages presented by lobbying groups, rather flexible working hours and all the generous expenses – their motivation is to uphold the status quo they enjoy.

Therefore both Brexit and any actual fiscal independence for Scotland are equally an anathema to the SNP.

So Nicola Sturgeon will endlessly moan and cry about independence – but her wish is only for the IDEA of another referendum in Scotland. Because she believes the Westminster establishment fears this gun-to-the-head of the Union the IDEA alone will bring concessions in the form of a maintained and perhaps even an enhanced Barnett formula. So ensuring the SNP can continue to party it up at Hollyrood.

The only way to stop such bullying is for the UK government to call the bluff of the SNP and hold this second-in-a-generation referendum tout suite and flush out Sturgeon and her clan.

Of course the BBC is uniquely unable to discuss the truth of the situation – because of its Lefty-liberal metro-elite nature coupled with its grandiose corporate instincts it loves the EU and hates Brexit and shares this fear of losing 8% of Licence Payers. It is also weak-kneed when faced with left-SNP protest at BBC ‘Englishness’ (as if!)

Yes, he was an IRA commander, and a senior one.

His death means we can no longer wire the bastard into the electricity supply and ask him:
Why were you seen carrying an automatic weapon into the flats overlooking what became the so-called “Bloody Sunday” march?
Why is it clear from the available recordings that the first shots heard on that day bear no relation to the sound of any weapons then in use by British forces?
Why do so many soldiers, with considerable combat experience, continue to insist that they came under fire?

Maybe he changed in later life – in which case he could at least have told us where the bodies were.
Remember Birmingham, Manchester, Hyde Park, Enniskillen, Mountbatten, Warren Point.

      Rot in Hell.

    Victoria Derbyshire – 21/03/2017

The Al BBCs daily dose of VD, sinks to the lowest gutter possible.
by getting itself in as a voyeur on the traumatic therapy sessions for the victims (and their families) of the Islamic child gang rapists in Rotherham.

Drearybyshire announces at least 1400(minimize, minimize) victims, of erm “mainly Pakistani men”
… why is a salient piece of information missing VD?

She then trumpets that the BBC Asian Network,(shakes head) had an exclusive.
Exclusive access, to the victims therapy sessions,(beyond belief!)
They then send an “Asian” reporter to get that access in on the session, to ask the parents and victim about it.

They then flip to an Kebab shop to hear about how they are escorting children home? … because they know predatory eyes are watching them (still rampant then).

And … speak to a traumatised girl, raped multiple times by an Islamic gang who was pregnant by 12 and the paedophile’s are all now out, her family say she cannot bare to go into Rotherham through anxiety.

These are Islamic child rape gangs, from towns and cities all over the UK, estimated a million victims. Omitted by the BBC
They do not have the decency, to be sensitive to the victims or the families.

LEAVE OUT THE BLOODY “ASIAN NETWORK” … LEAVE OUT THE ASIAN REPORTERS, VIRTUALLY
RUBBING THESE POOR FAMILIES NOSES IN YOUR DISGUSTING AGENDA.

GET SOMEONE LIKE THEM TO IF YOU HAVE TO REPORT, GET RADIO4 OR BBC NEWS TO DO THE
SEGMENT …. HAVE THE SLIGHTEST TAD OF MORAL DECENCY AND SENSITIVITY.
… AND PRE REPORT DO US A FAVOUR … TELL THE F-CKING TRUTH.
STOP COVERING UP FOR THE DISGUSTING BACKWARD CULT WHICH MANDATES THIS BEHAVIOUR.
DO YOUR BLOODY JOB … AND EXPOSE IT! AS IT IS SO DANGEROUS TO OUR CHILDREN.

What we saw was the director of the FBI and the head of the National Security Agency, two of the biggest figures in American security and intelligence, directly contradicting the President of the United States in public on two matters. First on the matter of the investigation into connections between officials and associations of the Trump campaign and the Russians during the campaign, and secondly on the tweet, famous tweet now, sent out by the president saying that he believed that President Obama had somehow put surveillance on Trump Tower in New York. Well they said on the first one that they ARE investigating associates and Russia, and secondly they said on the question of surveillance that they had no evidence. These are extraordinary claims, because they are taking on the President directly. We haven’t seen that in living memory.

What we saw was the director of the FBI and the head of the National Security Agency, two of the biggest figures in American security and intelligence, unable to provide any evidence to directly contradict the President of the United States. First on the matter of the investigation into connections between officials and associations of the Trump campaign and the Russians during the campaign, and secondly on the tweet sent out by the president saying that he believed that President Obama had approved surveillance on Trump Tower in New York. Well they said on the first one that they are investigating connections between Russia and associates connected with both Trump and Clinton, but they have NO evidence of any connections. The real concern of course is that this has been leaked to the press in a manner to create harm against the President. Secondly they said on the question of surveillance that they had no evidence, but the repeated denial of a ‘physical wiretap’ does not convince. So expect this story to continue.

Read those two paragraphs. They represent perfectly how somebody in the media might want to portray yesterday’s House Intelligence Committee hearing depending on their political leanings. The first paragraph is exactly what one would expect from a left-wing media organisation, and the second is exactly what one expect from a right-wing media organisation. Similar examples of both can be found.

I doubt many here will be surprised when I say that the first paragraph is a direct transcript of the words spoken by James Naughtie at 6:10 this morning on Radio 4. There was no nuance, in fact it was delivered in a sneering manner. It belies the claim that the BBC is impartial.

I complained to the BBC about this article on the 12th match

Muslim detective Nighat Hubbard sues Met over racism and sexism
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-39248079

I complained that the BBC is biased as they only mention a person is a Muslim when they are a victim or to promote Islam like the Bake Off winner. In this case her religion was irrelevant as she is suing for racism and sexism. The BBC never mention religion when they report terrorism or child sex rings or anything that will show Islam in a bad light.

I challenged the BBC to provide me with a list of their articles where a criminal is labelled a Muslim rather than provide me with a reply showing their usual contempt for the TV license payer.

Unfortunately the BBC replied with their usual contempt for the TV license payer and even their reply is promoting the great Islam whilst ignoring my complaint of their bias…

I understand you were unhappy with the headline for the report entitled ‘Muslim detective Nighat Hubbard sues Met over racism and sexism’ and note you felt it was irrelevant for it to make reference to Det Con Hubbard’s faith.

We are conscious of the need for headlines to be worded carefully so as not to mislead readers or give the wrong impression about a story. This is frequently a very difficult decision for our editors and we appreciate that not all readers will feel we get it right on every occasion.

However, we do not believe that it was inappropriate to refer to Det Con Hubbard as a Muslim detective. As it states in the report, she first gained attention in 2014 when she became the first Muslim policewoman in Britain to be honoured by the Queen.

It is worth noting too that a number of other media outlets also referred to Det Con Hubbard’s faith in their headlines for this particular story (please note that the BBC is not responsible for the content of external websites):

But note todays fully justified criticism re the BBCs overtly pro Remain Brexit coverage comes not from the government but from backbenchers. The appallingly biased coverage of the BBC had handed the government the very best opportunity to clip the wings of the disgusting corporation. After all the BBC is routinely insulting a majority of those who are forced to pay for it. Public support for the BBC is probably at an all time low. BBC Trust defends Corporation’s Harlow ‘race hate’ sensationalism

“But this last-gasp ruling underlines yet again that BBC journalism exists in its own bubble, and the Complaints Unit does nothing to prick it; if anything the reverse. The Corporation reports on its terms, no matter how inflammatory or at odds with the facts and common sense its output is.

The blunt truth is that the Sandford report of Mr Jóźwik’s killing grossly and irresponsibly exaggerated the race-hate dimension and must be seen in the overall context of the BBC’s determined desire to undermine the referendum result.”

    • quisquose says:

How the BBC can defend the way they ran that story tells us all we need to know.

Their reporting should be considered in the context of Brexit, and their desire to undermine it with negativity. But this reporting was even worse in that it actually stoked racial tensions that didn’t exist.

If I was to ask any of my colleagues now about the Polish chap that was murdered in Harlow, most if not all of them would still be of the opinion that this was a racial hate crime committed because of, or in the wake of Brexit. It has the effect of cowering and silencing genuine nice people, whilst empowering real racists that want to create divisions.

Unfortunately I suspect the BBC has become an organisation that actually relishes in creating divisions.
