I wonder if anyone tonight will point out that, for the first time in a long time, it will be possible to drive from Lands’ End all the way to deep into SNP territory without having to pass through a single Labour, or LibDem, held seat?

    I won’t hold my breath.

Is there any point in having Question Time the day after the election? We know what the public (as opposed to the Question Time audience) think, they’ve just voted. Or is this, once again the BBC up it’s own backside.

The point is to demonstrate that the Electorate is wrong. It has been a terrible mistake. Voters must have put their cross in the wrong box. Some nasty Tory must have designed the ballot form.

This morning, as the news began to break, that the Conservatives were going to win, Andrew Neil asked Philip Hammond, what was still toxic about the conservatives, that people hid their true intentions from the pollsters?

Neat question. Philip Hammond handled it very well.

Actually, it sounds snide, but its a very smart question. And I think it goes to the heart of the argument we have here.

All day every day, the public get broadcast media sticking out a barrage of ‘anti Tory’ rhetoric. Cuts, Thatcher, Rich people, NHS, charities. Whatever the current story is.

It’s not just the BBC, it’s Sky, Channel 4 and most of the independent radio too. So sensible people feel that they are branded ‘evil’ because the accept reality, rather than the narrative of the day.

What does that do to the hard headed realists of middle England – educated but private? It keeps them even more quiet, makes them feel under siege. But that won’t change the facts of life that they recognise – and the facts of life are born of the right – work, contribution, personal responsibility, fiscal conservatism, international hard headedness. They cannot be re-educated. Cultural Marxism must be failing.

          And therefore they vote accordingly.

Let’s hope that Mad Frankie takes a different approach to his colleagues interviewed today. With the broadcaster suggesting that the sky was about to fall should evil Tory manifesto proposals be implemented, they have sought to avoid pressing their case. I just want the Tory to point out that the electorate were aware of the proposals & they have more support than any of the alternatives. Get some balls for pity’s sake, you can’t put up with the whining lefty broadcasters for another 5 years.

The Scotts have put all its eggs in the SNP basket, and shot themselves in the foot as a consequence.

If their were just 10 Labour MPs from Scotland, then combined with 230 odd Labour MPs, Scotland would have had a large say in London.

As it is, Scotland via SNP, have deeply antagonised the Conservatives, as well as Labour. Its a mistalke to antagonise both the ,main parties in the UK, and make them enemies.

  7. FlyingPig says:

Well that didn’t take long did it. BBC allowed those losers Campbell and Ashdown to say it’s the Conservatives fault for not respecting the sovereign will of the Scottish people (no mention of the Sovereign will of the English people) that was responsible for the Scottish result … not the Scottish INDEPENDANCE Party. No mention that they are now a one party state with all that will entail !

And how after a momentous win for the Tories have we gone straight to the Scottish result involving a minority of the British people ?

Screaming sixth form harpy blaming Murdoch and Thatcher. The public are morons who made the wrong decision apparently. Newspapers make money by reflecting public opinion rather than by leading it. Not that Marxists who see every single form of communication as propaganda would understand that.

    Why did Labour lose?

Because the electorate did not vote for them. They didn’t like to Labour offer. Seems that commie slime don’t like people having the right to decide.

I’d happily ban Murdoch and everyone else who do not earn 90% of their income from these isles from owning newspapers. Murdoch is a parasite and the sooner he is gone the better.

It is a case of cognitive dissonance to believe that the public can be trusted to think for themselves and that the BBC is so biased it should be shut down. Both statements cannot be true. It is because most people refuse to think for themselves that such bias is dangerous.

That said Murdoch is far less of a threat to the UK than the BBC.

How eaten up with bitterness is Ashdown …. showing his real far left colours now. He doesn’t know why he lost …. try lying, claiming they were responsible for everything good, and the Tories for everything bad. Then (which stopped two friends of mine possibly voting for them) the back stabbing lies of the so called study revealing child benefit cuts revealed by Alexander who was then revealed to have commissioned the report himself, and the Lord Scriven revelation of Cameron supposedly ‘lying’ that he could win the election … oh what happened to that then Scriven ?? Care to comment ??

I utterly despise Paddy Ashdown, the man is an utter moron, his ‘eat my hat’ moment just about sums him up. We’ll be back? NO YOU WON’T, he talks complete garbage…1000 more members since yesterday! Is he serious.

Here we go with the lefty whining and whinging, all Murdoch’s fault? Nothing about the bbc’s bias though??

In work poverty bullshit despite people overwhelmingly backing the tories on the economy. The poor public servants being demonized, the poor creatures on welfare being punished..blah,blah,blah.

UKIP are racist and nationalism is bad…unless you are a minority Scot that is! That has been the sentiment all day on the bbc, the third biggest party in the UK on people voting and they are still treated with disdain by the lefty scum.

Giving a voice to the minorities over everyone else again, the Greens, Plaid, SNP..they are all need to be heard, cranks in the QT audience who have the loudest voice..will they never learn.

The bbc and the toxic left will carry on regardless with gusto and with an even more destructive edge..I’m not sure I can take another 5 years of listening to this poison, for the sake of the future of this country the bbc needs to be destroyed.

Campbell is a complete C***, he typifies the ‘do as I say, not as I do’ lefty scum that people voted against.

Yep, clearly those schoolgirls in the audience who berated the Tories were Russell Brands twatter followers.
Why else would they be blaming Murdoch for brainwashing all but Russell and themselves?
At least with Occupy, Russell would know that their like would all be at St Pauls and pissing in the font-so he could revisit his “Brand`ll Fix It” ravings over the B.O.
For thick kids like them, let`s make it simple.
        the SNP are nationalists-and socialists.
They are what we call “National Socialists”…seemed the mode in Berlin 1933, as I recall.
Didn`t end too well either-but hey, the likes of Brand and his groupie calls take their history from George Galloway…ah well, at least the adults are once again in charge.
Just need to break the back of the Beeb, and we`ll see improvements.

First post-election QT. That was quick. Introspective wounded animals of the left – Autopsy Part I.

Paddy Ashdown smearing UKIP as ‘dangerous’ English Nationalists? Ashdown is deluded and can’t even recognise a unionist party. He is also prejudiced. Has he ever had a private conversation, on any topic, with a UKIP supporter or representative? Did he read the UKIP manifesto, or does he not wish to ‘know his enemy’? I thought he had military training? The clue is in the name UKIP. What a spiteful, arrogant, divisive, illiberal man he is exposing himself as tonight, implementing the Alistair Campbell smear by numbers play-book. Have the public not just spoken, Paddy? The English lady asked him ‘who represents the English?’ because the panel are slagging David Cameron off en-mass for raising the issue of the EVfEL. But Ashdown answered not. Just bile and self-righteous ownership of the term ‘patriot’. Vomit inducing politics. Maude tries to interject with a bit of reason.

A Leftard gets ‘Thatcher’ and ‘Murdoch’ press stitch-up segue in. It’s a leftard-fest. Face metal, tattoos and prerequisite insulting extreme language included. Maude tries to explain.

Campbell, Ashdown and Swinney ignoring the result of an election played out in a left wing, issue avoiding, poll dissecting narrative, shaped in the MSM bubble and fed to the public. Maude tries to explain that the people have spoken.

‘I’m a woman’ bleats a sheeple. ‘LGTB’. (We don’t need to know that love. We don’t care. Good for you, or not, but so what? My grandma’s a fat white celibate centenarian so what. I’m a hetro male jedi potato head, so what. I’ve a mate who’s a Scottish lesbian health worker. And one who’s a Sikh Chippy owner, so what?) Silly self-pitying girl. Maude tries explaining.

A guy in the audience pushes the “There’s more Pandas in Scotland than Tory MP’s” meme. He seems not to realise that the same can now be said of Labour MP’s and Libdem MP’s. Facepalm. Note to Leftards: New meme required. Maude displays an ever do slightly smug calmness.

A question is asked: Is Labour not left enough for Scotland, and too left for England? Answer: No they are just idiots without principles or a moral compass. It really is that simple – move on. Maude doesn’t go with that particular line of opinion.

Ashdown and Campbell are contemptuous of the voting public and apparently unaware of how their words betray this self-righteous contempt. The Scottish people have rejected the Tories following the Thatcher years. They have now rejected Labour and the LibDems. It’s a trust thing and the main parties don’t get it. Trust takes much honest endeavour to forge, yet can be broken in an instant. I do not see the trust returning any time soon. They have rejected the independence message of the SNP. Do the Scots need their own Unionist Party, built from the grass roots? Can the real UKIP be revealed to Scottish people through the LibLabconSNP fog of smears? When the rhetoric is analysed, it is the SNP use the racist narrative (anti-English), The SNP who are pro-independence from the UK (as long as they can join a Union with their European buddies ? . I just don’t see the logic, unless it’s an anti-English thing). Is it not UKIP who wish to represent all peoples of the UK, equitably? I feel for the Scots. Our system has no way of ensuring their representation if the LabCon fail to. And they have failed to. As they have failed the English and Welsh also.

Groundhog Day. It all repeats. Not one day since polling closed, we commence the next 5 years of pro left agony with the BBC coverage of British politics. The stitched up audiences will now return, the divide and rule will continue and the sheeple will continue to follow. To follow the LibLabCon.

Business as usual at the BBC.

The BBC has set the narrative for this parliament

The Tories fuc**d up relationships with Scotland deliberately to scare people into voting (no mention of Mad Meg repeatedly stating that she wanted to work with Labour to deliver ‘progressive politics’ and to ‘lock the tories out forever’)….

The Tory ‘Bastards’ will make government impossible….

The referendum on Europe is a disaster whatever way you look at it….

UKIP are ‘destructive’ nationalists, already planning concentration camps….

Thatcher (from beyond the grave) and Murdoch manipulated the people by the all powerful dead tree press (of course the 80% monopoly of broadcast media has no effect)

Oh and yes, the public are too stupid to have the privilege of a vote especially in an EU referendum.
