NOTTINGHAM IN A KNOT

A Biased BBC reader writes…

“There’s one hell of a story regarding BBC bias developing over at BBC Radio Nottingham.

The Nottingham area is the only place in the country (or entire western world) with a party seeking election who speak out to advance the human rights of men and boys. 2015 marks the political debut of the political party “Justice for men and Boys” and they have 2 candidates standing – Mike Buchanan and Ray Barry.

The BBC’s response to this historic political event has been shocking even by their standards. Firstly the only recent TV appearance of either Ray or Mike involved the former briefly debating a radical feminist which the BBC heavily edited.

Roughly a week after this appearance the BBC organised hustings debate on Radio Nottingham. Mike was invited to appear but was shocked to find out that the BBC had banned men from the audience and made women’s’issues the focus of the entire discussion, with the BBC even using a female host for the event! To compound matters further still, the BBC didn’t even invite Ray Barry to the hustings debate in his constituency.

Needless to say there is considerable outrage at what the BBC have done and Mike used the debate to attack the BBC’s blatant breaches of its charter. Their conduct amounts to very clear interference in the political process and they’ve quite blatantly sabotaged the J4M&B campaign by denying them the opportunity to discuss their manifesto nor engage with the vast majority of voters who they are targeting. The BBC’s behaviour has resulted in a situation whereby the party has not had a single second in which they have been able to discuss any male issue or engage with a single male voter! I guess a parallel for you part of the world would to be to put a Protestant candidate in front of an all-Catholic audience.

You can listen to the “discussion” here:

There’s some extremely biased coverage of the scandal by the Mirror, but the comments below the piece are well worth a read, with 67 condemning the BBC and one in support!

    Men are the motive power behind any civilisation. Men are also the steel that defends a nation and its culture. Britain has become so feminist, that when a nameless internal enemy makes his move, there will be no men on the frontline.

    I’m fed up to see the state funded broadcaster prostituting itself to Muslims, homosexuals, wimin, ethnic minority lesbian transies, and a motley crew of strange people, while ignoring men.

    The BBC vilified the EDL, because they were MEN, who protested that their daughters were being gang raped in Midland towns and cities, by Muslims, while the police and authorities deliberately turned a blind eye.

    And yet when the time comes to stand on the frontline…

    You talk o’ better food for us, an’ schools, an’ fires, an’ all:
    We’ll wait for extry rations if you treat us rational.
    Don’t mess about the cook-room slops, but prove it to our face
    The Widow’s Uniform is not the soldier-man’s disgrace.
    For it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ “Chuck him out, the brute!”
    But it’s “Saviour of ‘is country” when the guns begin to shoot;
    An’ it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ anything you please;
    An’ Tommy ain’t a bloomin’ fool — you bet that Tommy

      Absolute claptrap. Looks a the figures my friend you may then see that women form a considerable proportion of the workforce. Out of interest ,were you wearing a tin helmet with horns when you penned your deepest thoughts? I note you got a thumbs up from the rest of the village people which presumably doesn’t include women. Can’t imagine what you do in the evenings!

    More Kipling. You got me reminiscing.

    NORMAN AND SAXON.
    “My son,” said the Norman Baron, “I am dying, and you will
    be heir
    To all the broad acres in England that William gave me for
    share
    When he conquered the Saxon at Hastings, and a nice little
    handful it is.
    But before you go over to rule it I want you to understand this:–

    “The Saxon is not like us Normans. His manners are not so polite.
    But he never means anything serious till he talks about justice
    right.
    When he stands like an ox in the furrow–with his sullen set eyes
    on your own,
    And grumbles, ‘This isn’t fair dealing,’ my son, leave the Saxon
    alone.

    “You can horsewhip your Gascony archers, or torture your
    Picardy spears;
    But don’t try that game on the Saxon; you’ll have the whole
    brood round your ears.
    From the richest old Thane in the county to the poorest chained
    serf in the field,
    They’ll be at you and on you like hornets, and, if you are wise,
    you will yield.

    “But first you must master their language, their dialect, proverbs
    and songs.
    Don’t trust any clerk to interpret when they come with the tale
    of their own wrongs.
    Let them know that you know what they are saying; let them feel
    that you know what to say.
    Yes, even when you want to go hunting, hear ’em out if it takes
    you all day.

    They’ll drink every hour of the daylight and poach every hour
    of the dark.
    It’s the sport not the rabbits they’re after (we’ve plenty of game
    in the park).
    Don’t hang them or cut off their fingers. That’s wasteful as well
    as unkind,
    For a hard-bitten, South-country poacher makes the best man-
    at-arms you can find.

    “Appear with your wife and the children at their weddings and
    funerals and feasts.
    Be polite but not friendly to Bishops; be good to all poor parish
    priests.
    Say ‘we,’ ‘us’ and ‘ours’ when you’re talking, instead of ‘you
    fellows’ and ‘I.’
    Don’t ride over seeds; keep your temper; and never you tell ’em
    a lie!”

    Another example of BBC ‘Check Your Privilege’ type thinking.

    However, they have missed the point on several counts about the treatment of women in society.

    Firstly, it is tied very closely to the attitudes of the establishment to working class men. If you breed a battle of the sexes, then don’t be surprised when the response from those young men is to see women with a lack of respect.

    Secondly, the cultural marxism of the 70’s which has now seeped into modern everyday life has led to the breakdown of the family as the primary building block of society. Nowhere are women more respected than inside the family unit, and nowhere is the respect of women more keenly taught.

      Good points Tony.

      An almost laboratory like experiment that proves your point, is the social breakdown of African American society, particularly in big cities like New York, Washington DC, Baltimore etc.

      Liberalism/socialism destroyed African American society, removing the church as the pillar, and made them plantation “folk” of the Democrats. Black men were disenfranchised, women empowered, and that lead to violence by African American men, mainly against fellow Blacks – women included.

      To empower themselves, African Americans are now turning to Islam, which doctrinally puts them way above women. Way to go.

      Socialiasm is a mental disease.

      Would that be the cultural Marxism that has sold off most of the social housing together with an economic system that encourages the breakdown of family groups?

    A screen grab at the end of the last leaders debate, was the one in which three wimin and an effiminate man “hugging” each other, and one man, standing on his own. Just that one pic showed the degeneracy of the UK.

    And thats how it will be when the chips are down.

    PS: Cant find the screen grab. Will be v grateful if someone can link it. Thanks

      You have to reverse the meaning of the words the Left use in order to get what they truly mean

      Inclusion = Exclusion

      Diversity = Conformism

      Equality = More power for politicians

      Feminism = Hared of the feminine (as well as men of course)

      Social Justice = Ignoring property rights

      Fight against poverty = Increasing poverty and dependence

      Tolerance = Intolerance

      Labour Party = Politicians Party

      Anti-Racism = Racism

      Standards in Public Life = Thieving

      Truth = Lie

      Balanced BBC = 24/7 Leftism

      Protecting the freedom of the press = Attacking the freedom of the press

      My father being a Marxist does not make me a Marxist = My father being a Marxist makes me a Marxist

      I only have one small kitchen because I am an egalitarian = I have two kitchens one is for the nanny

    Whatever about the political backlash against modern feminism –which is very interesting in itself–this bit of bias is extremely damning. You can’t make any excuses for this deliberate manipulation of democratic debate. This is more troublesome than any of the other bias I’ve seen detailed here so far, but I’ve only been on this site a short while. I think this seems worse than the usual lying by omission, distortion of facts or obfuscation. This is naked suppression. Not even the usual subtle kind.

    the more feminists push the more blokes don’t want anything to do with women. Women end up more miserable the more they push and that is a fact proven by statistics as women grow old surrounded by 40 cats and nothing else

      I’m seeing it all around me. Nice girls left on the shelf. The single men just aren’t interested – can’t be bothered with the ‘hassle’. Why would they? I know a divorsed guy that ended up living as a lodger because the woman took the lot – child, house, 100% of benefits and child support, despite 50/50 shared access and her earning more than him.

      As he said “how can it be in my son’s best interests, to have his father living as a lodger, because I have so little money, I can’t afford a spare room for my son to sleep in?”

        Exactly Grimer – blokes are waking up to the fact that they get absolutely nothing out of marriage and relationships these days apart from grief.

        Modern feminism has done more bad for women than good

          So tell us all ,what is modern feminism? One of the biggest reasons women stay with men is the lack of financial independence. 40% of births in marriage are from affairs.

            women have won the war – they have equality but as with all pressure groups they want more and it isn’t about being on a level playing field with men but being the superior sex. There are numerous examples out there so go and have a google to see what I mean

        Turns out the missus went to school with the wife of the Whigs chap they had on Daily Politics. The wife is also standing for election. Looks like the party is a family affair of priviledged (The Oratory, don’t you know…) BBC types – obviously given an easy ride by the BBC and (entirely coincidentally) got into the studio the same day as Suzanne Evans – he openly admitted they were simply an ‘anti-UKIP’ party.

        Nice to see the BBC’s agenda out there in the open.
