The BBC may well have all but erased 9/11 from its collective memory, but not George W Bush. I heard a real sneering piece on the Today programme this morning mocking his Art Paintings. Some expert was wheeled on to make patronising comments!

If a musician, artist or historian isn’t a lefty or black, Muslim lesbian then the BBC get critical.

      real political painting …
“Controversial Painter Depicts Obama Burning Constitution”
Jon McNaughton, a controversial artist who often mixes religion and politics in his work, has released a new painting. In β€œOne Nation Under Socialism,” President Obama holds the U.S. Constitution as it burns.

I heard the piece and have to say that it was driven by Webb – he seemed almost peeved when the ‘expert’ refused to confirm his view that the Tony Blair was unrecognizable and was not ridiculing GWB’s efforts as he had clearly been brought on to do. Webb persisted though and left the listener in no doubt as to his own mocking unpleasant patronising character. Contrary to what he and his cohort probably think it made him look like a pathetic name calling bully. Maybe he could replace Mark Lawson ….

The bit that struck me was “For a president long criticised for seeing things only in black and white” – err by whom BBC, by whom? You don’t tell us.

I forgot to say that I thought the pictures of the world leaders were instantly recognisable with the exception of the one of Blair. It looks nothing like a prick!

I`ve seen the paintings in the paper.
And they`re better than I can do.
And he has met these blokes….so the likes of Webb can f*** off.
Like a eunuch in a harem-sees it, watched it-can`t do it himself.
And this from the same bunch of clowns that deem a Wu Tang LP cover to be worthy of “The Review Show”.
    Let`s see Obamas then!,,,

The Beeb slipped up tonight on the 24 hour news. They brought on an Art expert who said that if Obama had signed them everybody would have agreed they were great. How did they let that one sneak through?

    • ron b says:

absolutely, she (the art expert) was good value, the Obama crack was lost on Webb who was poisonously mocking of Bush.

‘The BBC may well have all but erased 9/11 from its collective memory’

    What?!? really?

    • Lobster says:

It might not have been erased, but I bet the BBC memory doesn’t last as long as it has for the miner’s strike and the “poll tax”. The memory of “fatcher” is indelible.

the left and there cousins in the far left owen jones and co are a real lot of odious hatefull snoots, just look at at the example of thursday nights question time, the almost exclusive leftie panel laid into with a rage of anger at nigel farages success at beating nick clegg into a politacal pulp not only once but twice in the space of a week, the leftists hated that, that guardian journalist julie bindel on question thursday gone resorted to the old left wing trick of if you cant beat them smear them as racists, homophobes and women haters, that is what she done to nigel farage and if i was he i would sue the pants of julie bindel for for george bush, very impressed with his paintings, top marks george.

“The BBC may well have all but erased 9/11 from its collective memory” – but not Iraq. Blair consented to be interviewed on “Today”, ostensibly about the 20th anniversary of the “Rwandan Genocide”. Perhaps not surprisingly Humphrys just wanted to rub Blair’s nose in the Iraq debacle
