Another pathetic article from professional victim and political liability David Bond, trying to turn a completely innocuous joke about a monkey into a racism debate. Funny how he and the other people who claim to be opposed to racism are the only ones who made the mental leap that monkey must mean black person. Nobody else saw it that way, not least Andros Townsend who the joke was directed towards.

Robert Peston to become BBC economics editor
Head of the BBC’s business and economics unit, Jon Zilkha, said that Robert Peston had the “ideal combination of economic and financial expertise, political insight and broadcasting flair to give our audiences and programmes the best service in the years ahead.”
Like the ‘service’ that Stephanie ‘Bike’ Flanders used to give?

Curiously missing from the BBC’s coverage of the victims of Syria’s civil war (or whatever we’re calling it these days):

Israelis earn good will by treating Syrians wounded in civil war

“I thank the Israeli army,” he said. “Two and a half years of revolution have changed my opinion of Israel. Look what Bashar Assad” – Syria’s president – “has done to his people. Everything he says is a lie. He spreads hatred of Israel, but Israel is a friend, not an enemy. The Israelis showed us their humanity.”

Another BBC News viewer has the wool removed from his eyes.

Reporting the Islamic jihad massacre in Nairobi.

The Far Left, BBC-NUJ is censoring for Islam.

In this update, BBC-NUJ censors out all reference to ‘Islam’, ‘Islamic Jihad,’ and to ‘Muslims’; instead, BBC-NUJ uses substitute words: ‘gunmen’ and ‘attackers’.

    Two reports of same event:-

    1.) ‘Jihadwatch’:-

“Video: Kenya mall jihad mass murderers take breaks from killing to pray”
    [Opening excerpt]:-

“Islamic supremacist spokesmen constantly insist that any connection between Islam and terrorism is incidental — there are terrorists who happen to be Muslim, but not killers who are moved to kill by Islamic texts and teachings. This is contradicted by the statements of virtually every Islamic jihadist who has ever issued a statement, and here the contradiction is graphically illustrated.”

    2.) BBC-NUJ:

“Fresh CCTV footage shows brutality of Westgate attackers”

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-24572877

(There is a not-so-brilliant Beeboid comment from a Mr Ross, from the not nearby Lagos, in Nigeria. He mentions ‘gunmen’ and wants ‘answers’ from Kenyan government, while he himself obscures the nature of the Nairobi massacre.)

      Says Mr Ross,
Other Kenyans are asking who released the footage and why. They wonder why no official information whatsoever has been given out concerning the investigation.

So, the islamic loving bbc would echo the opinions of ‘ other kenyans’ and close off all news of these barbaric savages, and deny you the right to see what total bastards they are.
What a treacherous bunch of terrorist loving scum infests the inbbc, all of them growing fat off the protection racket they run.
It’s time we got shot of them.

They say a fish rots from the head, but as far as I can see the entire BBC is rotten.

Eleanor Old Droid chairmaning a programme on the upcoming winter olympics and the Russian attitude to homosexuals.

Anyone think of another large group whose rather more ‘robust’ attitide to homosexuality the droids will never ever ever make a programme about?

I was wondering if Stephen Fry’s ‘Out There’ will tackle the issue or dodge it.

He had a good go at the Russians in the episode I saw, but will he go for the hard targets?

So HRH Carlo, Prince of Wales, soon to be defender of faith, has appointed himself as a pensions investment expert.
    Quarterly Capitalism huh?
I should imagine all the big funds will be queueing up to employ him now.
    What a knob.

Tonights QT….Dimbleby is a cnut, he has interjected three times closing down Diane James comments, ensuring the crowd didnt get the chance to applaud. He left Tristram Hunt to say his bit hence the applause.

Also note that Bonnie Greer is the hero for standing up to Nick Griffin, also mentioned in the text comments.

QT certainly is a leftist sausage fest. I think Bonnie Greer just farted and the audience gave her a round of applause

So we have another BBC celebrity found guilty of abusing young boys, using his status, during the time he worked for the corporation. As you will read below, it’s apparent that others knew at the time ‘something wasn’t right’. Yet nothing was done about it at the time, and this allowed him to abuse many more.

How come that private media companies, also with their celebrities, don’t seem to be engulfed with these scandals like the BBC?

I think the simple reason is the BBC is far more interested in protecting their image, and will do their best to conceal these indiscretions from the public eye.
Whereas private companies are more interested in protecting their reputation by coming down hard on anybody they would believe are acting inappropriately.

Another reason to end funding for this insidious organisation.

This kind of thing goes on for years in apparently all areas of the BBC, but say “golliwog” once and they make complaints and you’re out.

    • Lost Over There says:

Meanwhile, north of the border, BBC Scotland are refusing to name how many staff have been accussed of sex abuse, or if children are involved. Not to worry though, since they admit it’s only a “small” number of staff involved.
      http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/bbc-scotland-staff-accused-sex-2169558

BBC Scotland employs 1250 staff in total, so a number of 10 (or more) would be a statistically high proportion of sex abuses to be housed in the one building.

I’ve been laid up with flu this week
This has given me the opportunity to listen and watch ‘all things BBC’. I cannot help thinking the BBC is in fact becoming totally obsessed with promoting Islam. I wake up and turn the radio on. The new presenter of the Today Programme is a Muslim (albeit a nice one). I fall asleep and wake. to find a programme being broadcast on R4 all about british mosques and that the oldest mosque was built in 1869 (so they’ve been around longer than you plebs think!)and how diverse mosques are and how they should be used by ALL the community etc etc. I turn the radio off, I am ill afterall. I turned the television on to watch the newswhich is being read by a devout Muslim. Why the hell can’t the BBC promote Sikhism with the same gusto?

Why is she on the BBC so much, I have never heard of her.

      Tick the boxes old chap.

I loved the bit where Dumblebum called her ‘Germain’.

But alas, they won’t be able to bring back Oliver Postgate’s voice (nor his vocabulary – “a cornucopia of amorous expostulation” is a genuine quotation from his ‘Ivor the Engine’… wouldn’t be allowed now….)

I always find it satisfying to read comments on a programme I’ve actually watched. Seeing how Stephen Fry’s programme can be so misrepresented, eourages me that those posters have no credibility.
