Where Is The Counter Narrative?

‘The far right is here. In our midst. And we see it not. Or worse still, we care not.’

Colonel Mike Dewar told us today on Nicky Campbell’s show that we tiptoe around the causes of radicalisation..we need a counter narrative, an alternative approach…he said the murder of Lee Rigby was a ‘stark warning’ that we needed to start countering the rhetoric and propaganda that radicalises these people….ie that foriegn policy is targeting Muslims.

Dame Pauline Neville-Jones later said something similar saying the task we face is changing the mindset…but we need the help of Muslims to do that.

Judging by the Muslim commentators that the BBC adopts that is going to be an uphill struggle as they all fervently believe in the ‘barbaric foreign policy’ narrative and forcefully promote that when they can.

We are told that acts such as the brutal murder of Lee Rigby are ‘retaliation’ for British foreign policy…Muslims, and Ken Livingstone, are on the BBC day in day out repeating that mantra…the BBC says nothing at best, at worst it agrees in some shape or form….Victoria Derbyshire today saying that the war in Iraq was meant to protect us from terror…and now look…and that violence is worse in Iraq….we did that she implies…well, no we didn’t….Muslims did that…the very same Muslims that walk around our streets attacking and killing a soldier.

Does the BBC not understand the irony of that, the paradox?…..Two British Muslims kill a soldier because of the violence in Iraq…the violence being perpetrated by these Muslim’s fellow travellers who work to the same ideology and agenda as they do.

Such an approach legitimises these terrorist acts….the BBC might not agree with them…but it ‘understands’…the War was ‘illegal’ and thousands of innocent Muslims suffered as a consequence….therefore…..more radicalisation and violence….not the way we at the BBC would protest but we understand your anger.

Here’s another puzzle….

The now infamous Jake Wallis Simons has another post on his blog:

The far-Right EDL is using Twitter and Facebook to exploit the Woolwich terrorist attack

So the EDL are taking over the world by using Twitter and Facebook?  Dangerous stuff!

Has he nothing to say about the myriad of extremist or radical Muslims filling the Television studios, the radio broadcastsa nd the pages of newspapers and magazines?

The BBC has given plenty of airtime to MPACUK spokesperson Asghar Bukhari who appeared on BBC NEWS 24 tonight at 9:30PM speaking about the Woolwich attack….MPACUK being well known as a radical group.

Bukhari previously stated that ‘Britain is a scary place for Muslims.’

This is what MPACUK’s Facebook page says about Muslims who apologise for acts of terror:

This is the sad state of affairs we Muslims are in.

All day yesterday I hear Muslims apologising and condemning this act as if it was the most abhorrent act ever committed on British soil, and “we are sorry because yes it is our fault that a man reacted to tyrannical oppression”

Yet these same Muslims don’t even bat an eye lid when these same soldiers kill our kids in our people’s homeland.

They are only cowards worried about their own reputation and image. “Oh no brother this is really bad for ‘the dawah’, we must publicly condemn these acts, Islam means peace”

Traitors!

But here Bukhari is on the BBC spinning a different line:

Woolwich attack: Muslim groups ‘not tackling’ radicalisation

Presumably Muslim groups are not tackling extremism because they don’t want to be labelled ‘‘traitors‘ by his website.

Just what is it that is radicalising all these young Muslims then?  Could it be something like this on the frontpage of MPACUK’s blog?:

The Obligation of Jihad

jihad

“Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) hath Allah promised good. But those who strive and fight hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,”

Quran Chapter 4: The Women, verse 95.

Those who do not observe Jihad are indeed committing a grave sin because there is much harm that emanates into society when it is abandoned. Those that neglect Jihad will be disobeying something God has commanded us all to partake in; they have not aided in protecting the Religion of God, they have not defended the Book of God, its messages and His law, they have not helped the Ummah against the enemy who wants to destroy them.

If any of us find our hearts at this stage; as a matter of urgency we must change for not only are we exposing ourselves to humiliation and harm in this life, but also in the Hereafter; for the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “He who dies without having fought in the way of Allah or without having felt it to be his duty, will die having a trait of hypocrisy”

So pretty clear where they’re coming from…you’d have thought…the BBC like MPACUK though..regular guests on their programmes.

As is Mohammed Ansar who appeared on Nicky Campbells’ show today and is known by BBC Watch…….

BBC R4 guest promotes Qaradawi as a source of “nuanced understanding”

and by Harry’s Place.

You can find him on Twitter where after the Killing of Lee Rigby he started his act:

Mohammed Ansar ‏@MoAnsar 18h The Woolwich Killing and my call for peace, unity and tolerance. http://youtu.be/N7YoqvU816s

Mohammed Ansar ‏@MoAnsar 1h I discuss with @NickyAACampbell on @bbc5live earlier today on how we need a calm and measured response to #Woolwich:

However the love and tolerance , and the calm and measured response, doesn’t extend very far….

Mohammed Ansar ‏@MoAnsar 21 May The next Tory-UKIP shiny toy to ratchet-up the right, far right and paranoid swivel-eyed xenophobes: aka their base.

Mohammed Ansar ‏@MoAnsar 20 May @yorkierosie Just fear not enough to avert the bastard Tory-UKIP-EDL love child in 2015. Complacency here, a cardinal sin.

Mohammed Ansar ‏@MoAnsar 20 May With the far right openly recruiting for UKIP, everyone should be fearing the Tory-UKIP-EDL bastard love child in 2015. #WakeUp

Mohammed Ansar ‏@MoAnsar 19h The political climate has fomented xenophobia and hysteria about Muslims. It has made the tinder dry. All evil needs is one spark.

Mohammed Ansar ‏@MoAnsar 21h The powder is dry. That this should become a spark is not an inevitability, however too many believe this is an attack by #Islam. It is not.

He loves his conspiracy theories:

A. Smith ‏@360CNN 22 May #Falseflag attacks blamed on Egypt by Israel exposed as Israeli/USA sponsored mercenarys trained to fight in Syria http://is.gd/OBEvsR  Retweeted by Mohammed Ansar

Except that was completely untrue, no mention of Israel or US in original story…..

Sinai: Foreign Militiamen Trained to Join Fight in Syria

The US is a favourite topic for denouncement:

Mohammed Ansar ‏@MoAnsar 21 May Oliver Stone series. Tonight covers how British and US intelligence services destroyed mosques in Iran whilst fomenting civil insurrection.

And he loves those who love the anti-American rebels:

George Galloway ‏@georgegalloway 19 May Long live memory of Ho Chi Minh born this day 1890. Great leader of heroic Vietnam, victorious over French &American imperialism. Presente  retweeted by Mohammed Ansar

Whilst Ansar is horrified at criticism of Muslims and ‘conspiracy theories’ about the dangers of Islam he isn’t slow in laying similar charges against UKIP…claiming they are ‘Far Right’ and on the march:

The self destruction of the Liberal Democrats is the opening salvo in a dangerous power play that leaves the door open to the return of the far right to the mainstream of British politics.

No, its not sensationalist. And that is something of a sincere admission from me, as someone in the past who has been not short of a sensationalist claim. There is a reason we need to call for cool heads and calm, rational thinking at this time. Simply, it is quite possibly one of the gravest matters our generation will have to face.

There are significant questions for both UKIP and Farage. As the Lib Dem’s wither on the vine and Labour searches for its soul, UKIP continues to drag Tory policy (not unwillingly) to the right.

The last time this many key governments in Europe were on the right (or as it now turns out, having a significant far right component) it was a period of history when we were also seeing the rise of pre-holocaust Nazi anti-Semitism.

The far right is here. In our midst. And we see it not. Or worse still, we care not.

God only knows what horrors a UKIP-Tory coalition might usher in after 2015

I wonder just what it is exactly that the BBC see in Ansar that makes him such a popular interviewee for them?

Wonder what the BBC would make of Ansar if he said:

‘Islam is here. In our midst. And we see it not. Or worse still, we care not.’

I have predicted that these sort terrorist attacks will take place in the UK and the West for over thirty years. It is simply a consequence of an increasing Muslim population.

Islam requires Muslims to attack an Infidel society at every opportunity, to bring it down and replace it with a society governed by sharia. Any reason will do for such attacks.

The problems faced that faced America after 9/11 was how to respond in the manner that America is accustomed to when attacked. The perpetrators were a motley bunch of 19 Muslims with no state connection or direction, so the normal method was not available. The West had to come up with a longterm strategic plan. It had to be global as well as domestic.

It’s a good question. The problem lies in the fact that if you were to ask any of these people, BBC types especially, they would reply…

“Yes, the EDL and the far right – a growing problem that really does need a harsh response, I quite agree.”

These people are unable, or more likely unwilling, to accept the real problem in our midst. If we are not permitted to even define the isuue in an honest manner, how on earth are we to address it effectively?

It seems the same is being produced in the Telegraph. As for Cameron and the BBC questions concerning tails and dogs come to mind. Is the Beeb being wagged by the PM? Same line coming from both: lone wolves, young men being radicalised. And don’t forget the community experts wheeled on to speak of community harmony, and if I hear that expression ‘vibrant community’ to describe multicultural cess-pits I will scream.

We can assume that the Labour Party shares the Cameron/Johnson/ BBC position that religion played no part in the motivation of the killers. But has the BBC invited any opposing views from the Conservative MPs? Are they unavailable, or is there complete agreement among the political class?

    • Doublethinker says:

Choudray said that he thought that many Muslims would have understood the motivation behind the Woolwich murder. Kirsty couldn’t and wouldn’t believe him and jumped to some other Muslims who said that whatever was happening elsewhere in the world was not a justification for the murder. She was obviously on ground more acceptable to the BBC with this.
But to me it showed how blind the BBC and the liberal left is. I think that there is a strong strand of Muslim opinion that agrees with British born Choudray and the liberal left can’t understand this. They don’t accept that to many Muslims it is morally offensive that Britain should have a foreign policy that involves armed interventions in Muslim countries. To some of them this justifies attacking Britain and to others it means passively supporting those who take extreme action. Clearly they feel much more allegiance to their religion and its world wide followers, the nation of islam, than they do to their country of birth or adoption, Britain. This can only give rise to problems long into the future of one sort or another and prevent their integration into British society.
The liberal left has caused us this problem by allowing so much immigration over the years so we now have several million Muslims in the country. Labour lit the fuse by taking part in wars in Afganistan and Iraq which purported to be about the security of Britain but I just can’t see how fighting these wars increased our security.
So the left has created a massive problem which the BBC have refused for many years to allow open debate about. It was notable last night that when the BBC looked to interview people about the effect on community relations of the murder they were told that people refused to express a view for fear of being branded racist.By suppressing open debate about the problem we have with Muslims and the problems that mass immigration have caused the liberal left and the BBC, are just allowing the pressure to build up and it will be so much worse when it does finally explode. They are just burying their heads in the sand.

I watched Choudary on Newsnight last night – he visibly raised Crusty Wark’s blood pressure, because he was very open about what Islam wants and how it behaves. She couldn’t shut him up fast enough.

One thing Choudary said that was new to me was the concept of the covenant between Muslims living in a non-Muslim country, and the non-Muslim majority.

Apparently, under such a covenant, Muslims are not supposed to make attacks within the country where they are protected by the non-Muslim society. Such a covenant definitively shows Muslims do not want to integrate with their host society.

Now I’m guessing here that such (overt?) attacks go beyond poisoning our society by:
      – imposing Halal food practices on non-Muslims,
      – lobbying to impose Sharia law,
      – introducing Sharia courts,
      – imposing Sharia no-go areas by intimidation,
      – bringing back the old Muslim practice of young Western sex-slaves,
      – subverting our legal system to protect such criminals from the Law,
      – etc etc etc etc (this is stuff that can get a bare mention on BBC, so imagine how much more is concealed).

So, essentially, it seems to me that such a covenant is a temporary tactic to allow Muslims to increase in number and influence until they feel strong enough to break the covenant and engage in overt attacks. I can guess that most Muslims would want that kept quiet and not broadcast (step forward Warsi), and could explain why Crusty was so upset.

The ‘covenant’ tactic would go some way to explain how Islam has been able to take over so many previously non-Muslim countries, destroy the civilisation they had struggled to achieve, and impose Islamic medieval unreasoning behaviour – a forthcoming long-running programme being brought to you by the dhimmi BBC.

I haven’t seen that video and would be grateful for a link.

From the Newsnight performance I thought Choudary clever and manipulative, very careful at choosing his words yet unrelenting in pushing his own agenda.

It would not surprise me if he said different things to different audiences so that on a superficial level he appears to be saying different things, but I think if what he says is analysed it may show the same agenda is being pushed.

On the other hand, this concept in Islam that it is ok to lie in the interests of Islam likely means that he will not mind being recorded being caught out in contradictions. Muslims do seem very ready to excuse other Muslims – I can’t help but wonder if this has contaminated prosecutions and/or juries.

So we heard that it was the 5th night of rioting (so 4 consecutive nights are not newsworthy), immigrants, some of which muslims, religion not an issue, shooting death of 69 year old man by police the spark, but really due to poverty etc.

I appreciate the site because I read on one post that the 69 year old man was shot, but circumstances indicated that police had limited options. Female hostage, machete, stun grenade had no effect, and enclosed flat.

However, for the benefit of the world-class journalists at the Quisling Broadcasting Corporation maybe they should consider the spark to be the fact that an alleged EDL supporter did transit through Shariaholm airport a week or so ago.

I don’t understand why Islam is given a free intellectual ride in the West. It is so simple to demonstrate that it is self-falsifying. The Koran is key to Islam and, unlike the Bible, is claimed to be the revealed word of a Supreme Being. Assuming that to be so then that ‘Supreme Being’ has a very poor grasp of basic science and can’t remember what he revealed to his messenger a few months earlier.

Why is this alien doctrine protected, (“Islam is as British as Bangers and Mash, Richard 1st brought a Muslim back with him” – Yeah, right, better forget about the ‘Bangers’ bit then in the future.), our thought police are quite happy to pile in everywhere else.
There are a whole range of areas now where we are only allowed ‘acceptable’ views unless we want to be subject to a firestorm of abuse and calls to at best recant and at worse lose our jobs. Why is Islam beyond criticism? Excuses seem to be “it is a faith” or somehow it would excite us to retaliate against individual Muslims – not that there is any evidence of that and, indeed if it did happen, it would only be a very small minority “not representative of real Britons”.

Yesterday I heard an interview by Eddie Mair with some men on the streets of Woolwich: “What would you do about it?”, he asked. “Send them back”, they said. “But they are British” he said. And that sums up the attitude of the political elite. Here is a ‘problem’ not of the “man in the street’s ” making yet all we get from the elite is contempt at the powerlessness of the common people. When Churchill came out with his equivalent of “We are all in it together” we were. Cameron’s equivalent is empty because “we” know that “we” are not in it together, that unlike Churchill, Cameron and his like have created the problem and no doubt revel in the powerlessness of the people.
I love my fellow man but our ‘leaders’ don’t half make it hard.

Mark Thompson explained all a while back:

“What Christian identity feels like it is about to the broad population is a little bit different to people for whom their religion is also associated with an ethnic identity which has not been fully integrated.

“There’s no reason why any religion should be immune from discussion, but I don’t want to say that all religions are the same. To be a minority I think puts a slightly different outlook on it.”

Which jibes with the attitude Helen Boaden admits to running into from BBC journalists (PDF file, pg. 67):

As an employer, the BBC was ‘passionately committed to diversity beyond what the law requires’, and this led to muddled thinking. ‘I’ve literally had conversations with my journalists, who think we can’t say nasty things about black people even if they’re true, “because we’re committed to diversity, aren’t we?”’

She quoted an example from some years ago when she was editor of File on Four.A reporter working on a programme about victimisation at Feltham young offenders’ institution rang her up. ‘He said, “Helen, we’ve found out that most of the victims of the bullying are white, and most of the bullies are black. Can we say it?” And I said, “If you’ve got the evidence and it’s fairly weighted, of course you can say it”. It was terribly telling, that. Because of the confusion with the institution’s aspirations, that had filtered into the journalism.’

As I’ve been saying for years, it’s an intellectual failure. Defenders of the indefensible can scream racism and haters at people here all they want, but they’ve yet to address this.

To bring on last night Choudary, the one who, amongst other vile “men” indoctrinated the savages and would not condemn what they did, was the final straw for me. “They have betrayed our trust and have been false to their obligations”. That is the definition of a traitor and that is what the BBC is.

As for our political leaders, the wimps who will have armed guards for the rest of their lives. Their weasel words; “ we will not let them divide us” and “we must just carry as normal” have also “betrayed our trust and been false to their obligations”. What they should have said was, “we will stamp out this evil in our midst of our people”.

The betrayal by our politicians has been the worst. They have allowed the destruction of our culture by the uncontrolled immigration of millions of people from uncivilised countries. And we now know it was deliberate. They have then let these uncivilised people roam this country at will, paid them to do nothing, given them houses and let them plot and preach hatred against us, bomb us and use our children as sex slaves. We are then called racists to keep us in our place, with the threat of prison if we dare speak out of turn. Same with the BBC, pay or go to prison. What a miserable and dangerous place they have made this country.

Well I have a few words for them, “To hell with the lot of you, they are not worth the dirt on the boots of that fine soldier. RIP Lee my heart bleeds for you and you lovely family.

In this week of all weeks, might the BBC not have done a tribute to him?…he was not famous, and didn`t seek to be…just an ordinary lad; and maybe the sort we might want to know about?

Why the hell does anybody but the Times or the BBC want to know anything about this Muslim woman who knew the risks of “Pakistani Democracy”?
Will Pakistans national radio be worrying about the life and meaning of the death of Lee Rigby?..course not…they welcome it.
Yet OUR BBC seems intent on spewing off about this woman..much as they love their dead pop stars, ex continuity announcers and Kray pals and drug mules…especially if gay, female or known to Chavez etc.

According to the 2012 census, only 4.8% of the UK population were muslims.

95.2% of us are not muslims.

Despite the fact that muslims make up a tiny minority of the UK population, they have, through a spectrum of hectoring, bullying, threats, intimidation, aggression, violence and murder already secured a very significant and deeply worrying victory in the UK.

For we are all now living under an unwritten, unspoken Sharia law; the first solid foundation stone of an awful, dreadful conflict with the 95.2% leading at first to the partitioning of small areas of the country, but ultimately to the islamification of the whole country.

The law is very simple and has only one clause.

    1. No-one shall “insult” islam.

“Insult” carries the widest possible definition, extending even to publishing drawings of mohammed.

Parliament has not debated this law, nor is it in any statute, nor in any regulation, nor even is it in any European directive. But we are nevertheless living under it. Nick Robinson’s craven apology, forced upon him by the cowards at the BBC, is proof of that.

100% in thrall to the demands of 4.8%. Islam is free to rape and murder without hindrance or restraint whilesoever the vast majority of the media meekly observes the sharia law that it has embraced – “do not insult islam”.

All we need here is a conversation with moderate muslims along the lines of “Some of the things Mohammed is reputed to have done (x, y and z) are reprehensible in the modern age, and we repudiate them. Some of the things preached in the Koran and hadiths (x, y and z) are unacceptable in the modern age, and we repudiate them.” But how is that ever going to happen when not just muslims, but also the remaining 95.2% of this country is effectively living under a law which states “YOU SHALL NOT INSULT ISLAM”?

Accepting, being open AND REJECTING Bad Things that their prophet did and that are in their holy texts would integrate muslims into British society, would marginalise and de-legitimise the extremists/activists/radicals/devout/call-them-what-you-will and would minimise repeats of Woolwich and the increasing risks of a dreadful backlash from the 95.2%.

But this cannot happen while we are all living under sharia law, and we are currently heading for an absolute disaster. This is a situation in which a public service broadcaster could be invaluable. It could lead the way; clear the path for others to follow. Challenge the unwritten law. Instead, we have the BBC which is rolling over and asking islam to tickle its tummy. Leading us all into darkness.

The trouble is – Muslims see their holy writings as cast in stone. They cannot set aside any of it – including the many awful parts.

It is cast in stone. A religion / cult / ideology that was born in violence and preaches violence. So many of its followers practice jihadi violence. What is the figure – 27,000 Islamist attacks around the world since 2001 ?

The ideology is entirely incompatible with western culture. And its core ,message is – dominate everyone else.

So the idea of some sort of negotiated settlement looks empty, I am afraid. There is no sign anywhere in the world that Islam can have a “reformation”. We face decades of trouble. And our political masters have imported this problem.

      • AngusPangus says:

        I agree John.

That no reformation is possible is, however, due in no small part to our press, led by the BBC, who act as defenders, appeasers and apologists for islam by “caringly” observing the “do not insult islam” law.

It is obvious, of course, that this law is quite simply a tool of oppression, devised to choke off dissent and keep people in check. Designed, indeed to prevent there ever being any reformation.

That a “liberal” media should happily play along with such a thing is obscene.

Somebody might have pointed out to him – but it would never be the BBC, of course – that the biggest targeters of Muslims are other Muslims, as the violence raging across the Middle East and beyond clearly testifies. So carrying out atrocities in the name of their persecuted brothers and sisters, like they are one big united religious family rings a bit hollow, doesn’t it?

And also that these were British men who choose to put their religion before their country, which comes as no surprise when ‘mulitculturalism’, underpinned by deliberate mass immigration, was so aggressively promoted by the last Labour government. In fact many seem to see themselves as Muslim first, Pakistani/Bangladeshi/Somali etc second, and maybe not even British at all, despite some of them having been born here.

We are subjected to fallacious and vicious grievance mongering by Islamic supremacist Asghar Bukhari to justify this monstrous slaughter. Instead of having the learned Robert Spencer or Ibn Warraq on to explain the jihadic doctrine, they have a vicious Islamic supremacist attacking Britain. It is just jaw-dropping. The disconnect is stupefying. The Taliban’s savage campaign of jihad, whether it’s poisoning girls’ schools, beheading more moderate Muslims, punitive penalties for women not shrouded in a cloth coffin, death for blasphemy, etc. is sanctioned, but the coalition to free the enslaved and bring the killers to justice — that is reason enough to slaughter people in the streets.

  26. Kingmaker says:

Here are some practical solutions (given that we can’t go back in time and reverse immigration policies or erase multiculturalism):

    – Let’s stop getting paranoid about surveillance and ‘snoopers charters’. The state doesn’t want to read your facebook messages about Rihanna, but it does need to know when people are planning terrorist attacks. Better surveillance won’t stop everything happen but will reduce the odds, so let’s stop this paranoia and let the security services get on with it.

    – How about our political leaders be up front and honest, call it Islamic terrorism, and speak the cold hard truth about this struggle –this war- that will last a long, long time. Stop pussy footing around religious sensibilities. No amount of community groups love-ins will solve these problems; integration is an issue yes, but let’s be loud and clear – these incidents are not the fault of Britain for not integrating Muslims, it’s the fault of the Muslims who become terrorists.

    – These stupid comments like ‘you’re killing Muslims in Afghanistan’ must be challenged, up front and boldly by the PM and the government. We are fighting evil oppressors in the form of the Taleban and al- qaeda – the truth about war is that innocent people are and always will be casualties too. But there is no alternative to fighting this evil, we can’t just turn a blind eye. People don’t even know why our soldiers are over there anymore – Cameron and co need to spell this out. People have short memories.

    – Stop giving any govt money to Islamic centres or projects where, to be frank, they have very little idea or knowledge where it gets spent at all.

    – Police should start arresting these radical preachers more. I know the big debate is over when radicalism turns into violent extremism, but we can’t afford to keep taking chances. I’d far rather risk having a few innocent people locked up for a few days then bombs going off killing hundreds.

    – In cases like Abu Qatada and others (of course there will be more, defending the human rights of jihadists is an industry nowadays) we just deport and be done with it. If that means leaving Human Rights treaties, so be it. These people are taking advantage of our laws and using them against us, we can’t afford to be fooled like that. ‘Doing it by the letter of the law’ is nonsense.

    – The media need to stop giving extremists air time too. It’s not about free speech; these people want to destroy our society and our civilisation.

    – If the police/security services need more money so they can follow up on leads etc, then let them have it. It doesn’t need to be new money; there’s plenty of waste in government. Why don’t we, oh I don’t know, spend less on foreign aid or child benefit. It could be done if the will was there.

“The media need to stop giving extremists air time too.”

I mentioned above that I saw Choudary on Newsnight, and he said some things the BBC and Muslims are not keen to broadcast.

      Bear this in mind:
when it is broadcast then non-Muslims, like you, get to hear what they truly think and intend.

Muslims already share this thinking amongst themselves:
      – in the Koran and other books
      – in mosques
      – in their lobbying and political movements
      – on the internet
      – in their schools
      – in their homes
      and who knows where else.

Muslims are upset that non-Muslims get to hear what’s going on amongst Muslims.

What the media need to do is tear apart the extreme ideology, but that is an inherent aspect of Islam so the media will not go there.

    • Derek says:

This is as best I can recall; I watched but didn’t record the Newsnight programme.

Choudary was very cagey with what he said. He didn’t get rattled, unlike Wark who clearly presented no challenge to him – she kept trying to get him to say obvious specific things, and he kept saying what she didn’t want to hear.
(Her level seems to be ‘have you stopped beating up Scotland, yes or no?’.)

He mentioned the ‘covenant’ between Muslims and the non-Muslim country they live in.
(Crusty Wark didn’t ask why such a ‘covenant’ might be necessary, nor what had happened to other countries which had embraced Muslims with such a ‘covenant’. She didn’t ask why so many other immigrants, with so many other different background did not need such a ‘covenant’.)

He said the ‘covenant’ meant the Muslims should not attack the host country which gave them protection.
(Crusty did not ask whether that prevented Muslims from trying to convert the host country to an Islamic one, nor under what conditions Muslims would break such a ‘covenant’, and certainly I thought it was implied the ‘covenant’ could be broken.)

He said he didn’t break the law.
(Crusty wasn’t smart enough to ask him whether he was referring to English Law or Sharia, nor about whether he was trying to introduce Sharia law to Britain.)

He challenged the other two Muslims to point out anything he had said that was un-Islamic.
(They couldn’t, or didn’t want to.)

Basically, he was able to keep coming back to British foreign policy, and Crusty was unwilling to challenge Islam.

Crusty Wark is a woeful waste of broadcast bandwidth, overpaid by the BBC, with a ‘tax efficient’ arrangement which shows how much of a chippy champagne-scoialist she is.

      Just my observations.

The Talmud has a similar thing about obeying the laws of the country in which one lives, although there’s nothing in there about having to promise not to behead anybody in the street. But that’s not what Choudary told that girl in the video. He said they didn’t have to obey the laws of the land. Supposedly, that was done for the BBC, so there’s no excuse for not calling him on it.

Then Bodo said that it was, in fact, done for the BBC a couple years ago. So egg on face for me there. But it means that they should know about it, and should have made sure Wark had it in her notes.

So either the Newsnight crew failed, or Wark failed, or, worse, it was a deliberate pass.

Come the day they’ll be a lot of people taking Friday off and a lot of fuel tankers being hijacked. The added bonus is that most attendees are male (some Mosques do provide a separate room for female worshipers)

Been an all-too predictable gobfest from the chattering classes.
The BBC etc won`t bother their arses about the name of Lee Rigby this time next week…indeed he`s hardly mentioned now.
Yet we`ll be hearing plenty from the favoured talking heads of old spooks, Labour grandees and pliant Tories…keep calm, stay British and let Islams goons bury your head in their sand if you`d be so kind.
Indeed we`re hearing the usual dead round of Islam stoolies like Khan and Siddiqi..starts with Choudury, goes full circle back to him via the pale Labour Muslims like Ahmed, Tories like Warsi.
Take any shade or colour you like-it will all end in a black flag with flashes of red and green on occasion if taqqiya requires this.
Thankfully no-one gives a stuff what the BBC say any more-Pat Condell, Michael Savage give us the news these days.
And I sense this country is slowly waking up to what Islamonausea feels like. About time too.

INBBC lets that well-known pro-Islam scholar and propagandist Mr CLEGG get away with this unchallenged:-

One might think that the ‘secularists’ of BBC-NUJ may have known about the following; but no:-

“Does the Koran Forbid the Killing of Non-Muslims?
Does the Koran’s Verse 5:32 Forbid the Killing of Non-Muslims?”

As Bill Warner wisely states, to understand Islam, one must understand its dualistic essence.

    Clearly Clegg doesn’t:

      Brilliant Warner analysis here.
Which is why, of course, the BBC would never teach it; let alone those Hackademics and Quislings for Islam(Q.I).
Thanks for this George R….let the fools go to Imam Clegg-Al Cameron for their jurisprudence…Warner knows what we`re facing every time we put the news on.

      For CLEGG and INBBC:-

“The Koran is clear that (male) Muslims must emulate the example of the prophet Mohammad (33:21). Therefore Muslims are obligated to kill (non-Muslim) critics of Islam. If this is acceptable killing according to Islam, why should anyone take 5:32 seriously as a peaceful verse? How can this be a verse of peace when it permits Muslims to kill anyone simply for doing or saying something judged to be against Islam?”

I thought that too. there dozens of people standing around…OK the c**nts had knives but a knife is no match for a bat or a hockey stick or a pole or anything. Plus there is a crowd at one stage around the dead body, great for the crime scene! Something doesn’t add up, like it was all in slow motion or under water.
