Marine Le Pew?

A peaceful UAF protest

A lot of people don’t like the French National Party leader, Marine Le Pen and her policies.  They would like to prevent any of her policies being heard in public.  Perhaps some like the BBC’s Jeremy Hardy would take the extreme position of advocating shooting BNP members and their ilk in the back of the neck.

Who is the extremist?

Le Pen is speaking today at the Cambridge Union debating society about the future of the European Union and French politics.

Nicky Campbell has decided that this is an opportune moment to run a phone-in asking ‘Do extremists deserve free speech?’

Odd what gets the BBC fella’s excited.   Harry’s Place has been having a long running commentary on the speakers that grace the hallowed portals of the East London Mosque but the BBC has not shown the slightest interest.  In fact the BBC thinks the ELM is a fine, upstanding and moderate example of Islamic tolerance and inter faith dialogue.

By coincidence the top story today on Harry’s Place is from another student union:

“Homosexuals would be executed”

Lucy Lips, February 19th 2013, 2:45 pm

Student Rights has obtained a video showing a speaker at the Manchester University “Global Aspirations of Women Society” endorsing the execution of gay people:

Student Colin Cortbus attended a meeting at the Students’ Union last Wednesday 13th February organised by the Global Aspirations of Women society. He asked the chairperson of the meeting if “in the Islamic society in which you strive for” they would “feel comfortable, personally and morally, to kill a gay man?”

“Absolutely” came the response. The speakers added later that homosexuality was an “atrocity, because it goes against what God says”.

That’s of particular interest…Campbell did raise the subject of Qaradawi and his attitude towards Jewish people……but he made no mention of his attitude towards gay people…that being…the only question to be asked is not whether to kill them, but how to kill them…..While such punishments may seem cruel, they have been suggested to maintain the purity of the Islamic society and to keep it clean of perverted elements.’

Qaradawi is one of Islam’s moderate and highly respected scholars: “He is a moderate scholar who contributed to combating extremism in Islamic thoughts.”

Interesting that Peter Tatchell has a definition of Qaradawi’s views:

‘Qaradawi preaches a right-wing agenda of misogyny, anti-Semitism and homophobia.’

Many would say that such views were in fact from mainstream Islam…and we need to talk….‘What is going on in these mosques and madrasas? When is someone going to get 18th century on Islam’s mediaeval ass?

And yet the Unite Against Fascism spokesman on Campbell’s show had no problem with Qaradawi.….saying he was only interested in combating Fascists…extremist (not Fascist) Muslims were OK by him.

Campbell made no mention of Islam in relation to Qaradawi…it was as if these were purely Qaradawi’s own beliefs, dreamt up in  a cave somewhere after years communing with the voices in his head.

Campbell made no mention of the death threats to MP Sadiq Khan for voting in favour of gay marriage….an odd omission as it is so high profile and of relevance surely?

He did however speak with undue deference to someone named ‘Ali’.

Vive La Deference!  They make a desert and call it peace.

What did Campbell say?

He did in fact make one allusion to Muslims…he said Muslim extremists were only ‘people who call themselves Muslims’.….no Muslim can be ‘extreme’ in the BBC ‘style guide’…..’The styleguide for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) represents wisdom surrounding the use of English in written and spoken communication.’

What other ‘wisdom’ did Campbell’s bright little brain come up with?  Always thinking that boy!

Oh yes……UKIP…aren’t they just the same as Le Pen’s National Front…after all they want to ban Halal meat and the Burkha just as they do?

Never mind that the Burkha has already been banned in France by, presumably, the non-extremist French government.

And the RSPCA in this country, amongst others, want to ban Halal meat.   Are they classed by Campbell alongside a ‘Nationalist’ party?

Any other BBC targets that Campbell could  traduce?

One more…..

Campbell asks should climate change deniers be given the right of free speech.

Funnily enough we already know the BBC’s answer to that one.

So that’s a fair old list….Qaradawi, who wants to kill Jews and homosexuals, is put into the same category as Marine Le Pen, UKIP, Climate sceptics…and the RSPCA.

BNP + Nazis + Le Pen, the BBCs Holy Trinity. Nicky Campbell must have been wetting himself with excitement to babble on about his 3 favourite subjects.

Meanwhile on muslims molesting children in Rochdale and muslim police patrol in London, the silence is deafening.

    • bodo says:

‘Meanwhile on muslims molesting children in Rochdale… silence’.

Hard to believe the Oxford grooming trial is still going on. No mainstream reporting whatsoever.

If Nicky Campbell tripped over the kerb, he’d call the kerb,”waaycist.”

If Nicky Campbell walked into a lamp post, he’d call the lamp post,”waaycist.”

    Liberalism is a mental disorder.

  3. Richard Pinder says:

    “Do extremists deserve free speech”

    (1) No, because I do not agree with what I think they may say.
    (2) No, because the BBC say they are extremists.
    (3) No, because free speech is for people not labelled extremists by people who think that they may possibly disagree with what they think they possibly may say, whatever that may be.
    (4) No, because I did not agree with what Voltaire said.
    (5) No, because free speech is for people who deserve free speech.
    (6) No, because I hate people who violate the hatred laws, unless they are Christians who are taught to forgive those who hate.
    (7) No, because the word extremist is a word used to justify the suppression of free speech, which I agree with, because sometimes I do not like what people have to say.
    (8) No, because people who are not left-wing are extremists.
    (9) No, because free speech was a cultural concept developed by white men, and therefore is supported by racists.
    (10) No, because it has gone out of fashion, as we are members of the European Union, and a civilization which is now collapsing.

    • David Preiser (USA) says:

Extremists get plenty of free speech at the BBC. The question is, which kind?

          “its only 12 people” ?**!?

“Peter Tatchell, “We are delighted that Muslim MPs voted in favour of legalising gay marriage. The ban on same-sex marriage is discrimination.
          wait for it ….
Discrimination is not an Islamic value”

hmmm … one way ticket to Iran for you my boy … and 6 months, (next to the east london mosque 😀 ) of “diversity ” training

Peter Tatchell: Discrimination is not an Islamic value

Unlike what goes in the Jesus thing, I’m afriad you can’t just pick and mix what you think would be nice to have for the folks in that other religion.

Good luck with that thought all the same.

      • Ian Hills says:

Do BBC extremists deserve free speech? Much of what they say offends Britons, the English, Unionists, Jews, whites, men, straights, people who believe in marriage, people who don’t believe in drugs, people who don’t like smut, people who don’t mind Americans, non-moslems, non-leftwingers, non-criminals, eurosceptics, climate sceptics, in fact probably most of the population.

Yes they do deserve free speech, but not by taxing viewers, and they should observe the law too (eg incitement to murder).

      • Lynette says:

The Jimmy Young show on BBC Radio 2 years ago would give people the freedom of speech to make racist comments. The problem with this I argued to the BBC was that because they voiced extremist views repetedly, others hearing their views would feel that these views were acceptable and such ideas would spread . The reply back was that I could put my views forward to counter them.
This may possibly have been acceptable in theory with a presenter like Jimmy Young who did not make comments on what people said but Jeremy Viner did and therefore the idea that this the BBC was giving me freedom of speech was clearly no longer a valid one.

        • Richard Pinder says:

Extremist or racist speech is only unacceptable if it is against the law, but then you need laws against free speech.

If you think hearing extremist or racist views would make them acceptable, then why did not these ideas spread into your thought process and cause you to agree with these views?

Maybe you did not agree with these views, and therefore wanted to censor these views from being heard by everyone else.

But most people on this website do not want to censor people they do not agree with, because we believe in free speech and free thought without censorship.

  4. noggin says:

5live – Your Call. (little nugget in a dull morning)
    Do extremists deserve free speech?
Well on 5live obviously … as the first 20 mins has a U.A.F. Spokesman, (oh! the irony), hilariously given free reign, and his muslim buddy, as “panto” listens totally entranced …

things do liven up a bit, in the second half as one fellow, goodness … (39 mins 50) how DID he get through the
“call select gestapo”, he soon dispels the “offence” industry issue, he cleverly asks a jewish gentleman, (concerned about attacks on jewish schools, but who was led to talk about oswald mosley?) straight away, just WHO is it that is threatening jewish children/schools today…
shock horror for al bbc its the the religion of pieces … which throws old “panto” into protectionist mode.

Lo and behold, suddenly it appears we have a microphone fade problem, just for this caller 😀
as he continues, fingers the UAF as causing more trouble/violence, than those they protest, and at the bbc , and states that the inability and failure, to have open harsh public scrutiny of islam is the direct root of street organisations like the edl ….

then with a waft of al bbc “microphone” fairy dust
    he s gone ………..

    • David Brims says:

My favourite bit was when the jewish guy said ” I fought against the fascists, Mosley etc etc ( then he went off message ) the problem now is Islam !!”

I think Campbell had a stroke, he spluttered ” You can’t say that ( no irony ) It’s a tiny minority of muslims.

I think the phrase ”tiny minority ”will go down in history like that other cliched line ”tory cuts.”

      • noggin says:

that chap was even quick to jump, on that
“it might be a minority nicky but its not tiny”
however, they did attempt to fade him out though.

        • Maturecheese says:

I heard it as well, Nicky was nearly apoplectic and showed what a sad t**t he really is. The Jewish gentleman was on the nail and where does the BBC think the rise in antisemitism actually comes from. Muppets!!

          • Aerfen says:

The Jewish gentleman was on the nail

He was not ‘on the nail’ because he , like Weyman Bennett, did want to restrict free speech.
Still it was chucklesome to see Nicki Campbell do a double take when he realised which group’s speech was to be restricted!

      • Guest Who says:

‘he spluttered ” You can’t say that ( no irony )
Reminds me of Kay ‘I got my job on merit’ Burley of SKY, post London riots, when interviewing a shopkeeper whose store had been ransacked.
In true UK media style, having not been present, she asked what happened, got told, and then proceeded to have a hissy fit on accuracy going out vs. a narrative enhanced version of it.
Also, in both cases, the person in question rather clearly could say it, and did.
But true, the likes of Burley and Campbell (and Chiles and Brand…) will be at the vanguard of all efforts to ensure what gets said gets run by them first.
The Jewish bloke may remember how well that worked out the last time.

    • David Preiser (USA) says:

Credit due to the middle-aged man calling himself “Nicky” for mentioning to his supposed anti-fascist caller that Hamas thinks homosexuals should be killed. Too bad he doesn’t bring that up whenever he has cuddly Mohammedans on Big Question surrounded by screaming Leftoids who call any critic a racist.

The BBC is going to get a load of complaints for Campbell speaking negatively about Holocaust denial. Again, too bad he doesn’t bring it up to a Mohammedan’s face and only talks about this stuff from a very safe distance when he can discuss it in the abstract. That’s known at the BBC as “getting it about right”.

Since Campbell had already suggested it would be equally wrong to ban free speech for Hamas as for whites, I was going to give him credit for telling the old Jewish man he was wrong for wanting to suppress Mohammedan free speech. But then he told the “tiny minority” lie, and was supported by his guest in the studio.

Okay, “Nicky”, do a poll. The BBC loves polls. Prove to the uneducated, racist Little Englanders (and that old Jew) that it’s the “tiny minority” you allege. The BBC and defenders of the indefensible appeal to the authority of polls all the damn time, so let’s see it here.

    • David Preiser (USA) says:

Oops, right near the end, “Nicky” said that, because Nick Griffin is an elected representative, “we have a problem”. Oh, dear, so much for impartiality. It’s especially silly because he was saying that to play down the danger of Anjem Choudary and his group.

  5. George R says:

“The Islamexpasperation Factor in France’s Presidential Election”

    By Nidra Poller.

“While Le Pen immediately cited Merah’s crime as proof of the connection between immigration, Islam, and violence, the media narrative was framed to disconnect Islam from this murderous hatred though the terms ‘jihad’ and ‘jihadist’ were widely employed, and the media did include information about Merah’s radicalization. In the ensuing election campaign, the Socialists opted for the deprivation/marginalization explanation while Sarkozy proposed legislation that would criminalize radicalization—for example, training in Pakistani jihad camps—making it possible to arrest men like Merah before they go into action.

“But the issue of Islam’s coexistence with Western society and its values was allocated to the Front National. ”

  6. chrisH says:

    Thanks for this Alan.
That old Islam…gay see saw of the BBCs is a real problem.
I sense they`re just waiting in the hope that the likes of Qaradawi will make up their minds for them…so hard to decide whether it`s to be gays or Muslims( co-called, of course) we`re to put at the top of the victim pyramid.
Actually it`s not BBC…pretty clear what Islam thinks of you and your cringing at their culy slippered fee!
To be fair to Islam…it does exactly what is says on the basket that catches heads to stop them rolling away.
Hitler also did what he said he would too…coincidental eh?
Yet the BBC and its Guardian-loving cringers seem to think that there`s a settlement to be had.
Where`s Robert Kilroy Silk when you need him?..even Tom Holland`s too much for the Saudi Syndrome suckups( S.S.S) that infest the liberal flying carpets of loveliness-as the axis of pastel shaded evils masquerades as, as it suits.
Hitler and Islam?…hate Jews, Israel…only one way of life?…well yes, but going to hell the same way.

  7. David Brims says:

George Orwell quote ” Free speech is not saying agreeable things that people want to hear, but saying disagreeable things that people don’t want to hear.”

    • Aerfen says:

      Another good one:
“Goebbels was in favor of free speech for views he liked. So was Stalin. If you’re really in favor of free speech, then you’re in favor of freedom of speech for precisely the views you despise. Otherwise, you’re not in favor of free speech.”
      ― Noam Chomsky

I used to be proud to be English. I looked askance at foreign countries where some despicable junta dictated what could be thought, spoken about or written. Now it is happening here. Former London mayor, Ken Livingstone, invited a Muslim into our midst who advocated killing Jews, stoning adultorous women and lobbing homosexuals off cliffs. Livingstone told us this bloke was a moderate! And now we have the ugly and dangerous ultra left trying to stop Marine le Pen taking part in a debate in Cambridge.
To misquote my hero, George Orwell, “All free speech is equal, but some free speech is more equal than others.”

    • Colditz says:

Love the way Orwell is being misused to give bigots a fig leaf.

If you are a fan of Orwell, be a good idea if you actually read what he wrote and understood his views. I’ll give you a clue. He was a socialist and I can guarantee he would utterly despise the repellent La Pen and all her closet supporters.

      • Jeff says:

Actually Colditz I think that I have read just about everything that the great man wrote. I like to think I have a rough idea of what he was about. Yes he was left of centre, so am I come to that, but he despised the vile thugs of the ultra left. He detested totalitarianism. He was an English patriot. Try reading his Notes on Nationalism. It’s my honest belief that he would depise the repulsive, unpatriotic, bigotted UAF more than he would Ms Le Pen.

      • Leon says:

Hard to know what a man who died in 1950 would have said or done-all we can do is take an informed guess based on what he wrote when confronted by similar situations-here’s something Orwell wrote on ‘The freedom of the Press’

“Is every opinion, however unpopular — however foolish, even — entitled to a hearing? Put it in that form and nearly any English intellectual will feel that he ought to say ‘Yes’. But give it a concrete shape, and ask, ‘How about an attack on Stalin? Is that entitled to a hearing?’, and the answer more often than not will be ‘No’, In that case the current orthodoxy happens to be challenged, and so the principle of free speech lapses. Now, when one demands liberty of speech and of the press, one is not demanding absolute liberty. There always must be, or at any rate there always will be, some degree of censorship, so long as organised societies endure. But freedom, as Rosa Luxembourg [sic] said, is ‘freedom for the other fellow’. The same principle is contained in the famous words of Voltaire: ‘I detest what you say; I will defend to the death your right to say it.’ If the intellectual liberty which without a doubt has been one of the distinguishing marks of western civilisation means anything at all, it means that everyone shall have the right to say and to print what he believes to be the truth, provided only that it does not harm the rest of the community in some quite unmistakable way”

      • Dazed & Confused says:

Why do half wits like “Colditz” have to include at least one of the terms “Nazi”, “Racist” or “Bigot” in every sentence that they write?…..
Socialism is a horrific disease, that renders it’s advocates senseless, where-by they parrot certain words, as they are taught it’s the moral high ground…..

I mean hark at his moniker “Colditz”…..The idiot is still obsessed with Hitler, and no doubt it’s all he ever thinks about..

      • chrisH says:

Oh colditz, you are a one.
I`ve read a little Orwell myself.
Suffice to say that he`d never have envisaged a Churchill being “banned” from listening to Gracie Fields, as the lady forbade him to listen to ” Keep the Biggest Aspidistra in the World Flying”…oh, God is that Dez?
Had the lady tried to presume to tell him what he could no longer like or listen to from Capri, I`d not have imagined Reiths BBC spouting it, getting recordings of her saying such posturing adolescent tripe-and then putting it up on its BBC carrier pigeons for the rest of the day as if it were actually news…as opposed to a sadsacks first “solo” LP since the 80s or so in need of a push?
Any idea how ludicrous the BBC now is coldie boy?…and ,in defending it as a constant lazy reflex, how daft the likes of yourself can be as a consequence?
Just a thought…or do I need to report my deviant thinking to somebody more au fait with what Orwell was trying to say…yourself maybe?

      • mat says:

Ok Clagbuts I would Love to understand his views as seen through your bent mind so can I borrow your Pravda approved goggles!

      • Richard Pinder says:

Colditz is either a bigot, extremist or a racist. Therefore should not be allowed free speech.

As he thinks Orwell may have said “Bigots, Extremists and Racists should not be heard, because what they say is so very very dangerous, that it would be best not to let anyone hear what they have to say”

Hitler said that he was a Socialist, But I am sure that Orwell was more of a “Tory Anarchist” than a Socialist. He described himself as a radical and a traditionalist with respect for the individual and for privacy and an overwhelming hostility to the expanding power of the modern state. More of the current understanding of a “Tea Party Libertarian” or “Classical Liberal”.

That is why Orwell is popular with those classed as right-wing by the big state lefties. Not just because of his satirical novels, mocking big state socialists such as Colditz.

I think that La Pen is a big state national socialist, so we have nothing to fear about what she may have to say. And I am sure that Orwell would have agreed.

    • Doublethinker says:

I think that Britain , and England in particular, must be unique in that the Liberal Left Establishment, and their mouth piece the BBC, actually despise the country and their fellow country men. They seem hell bent on getting rid of our culture , re-writing our history , accommodating some very unpleasant and dangerous minorities , and who knows, handing more and more power to them. All at the expense of the British people who just don’t seem to be of any importance to them.
It is extraordinary that such people have taken control of the country. How can this have happened? Well my view is that the Liberal Left have had control of the most powerful propaganda organ the world has ever seen , the BBC , and they have cleverly used it to gain control of the political agenda and to alter the mind set of the people to one where most people unthinkingly go along with the their anti British policies.
Perhaps one day the people will wake up and see what has been done .But time is running out and there is no credible and vote worthy political party who dare speak up and strip the wool from people’s eyes. Even if such a political party existed the BBC would be ruthlessly suppressing it.
Will no one speak for England?

  11. Can't stand the drivel says:

What gets me is that Cameron never even mentions anything about BBC bias. He doesn’t seem bothered about it at all. You must conclude that he agrees with their blatant leftist bias. There is no other conclusion you can come to. Vote UKIP for the only party that has common sense. You would have to be a lunatic to vote for any other party.

Early this morning on Radio 4 I caught the headline news. There were ust 4 or 5 items

But one of them – of course – was to say that le Pen was speaking at the University and the UAF were organising a protest.. I regarded that as some tosser leftie editor at the BBC putting out a call on behalf of the UAF – “Get over there guys, let/s cause trouble”.

Simple rabble-rousing, that is what the BBC has reduced itself to.

NO WAY did the meeting justify a mention in the headline news. The only and obvious purpose of the “news item” was to stir up trouble.

    • John Anderson says:

…. a tosser leftie editor – or maybe one of the increasing number of Muslim editorial staff at the BBC who keep pushing Is;lam and covering up the rancid ideology’s dreadful abuses

  14. dez says:

Some things Nicky Campbell said which for some reason you failed to mention:
“I asked [the UAF spokesman] about Louis Farrakhan… he said he wouldn’t protest against it; and likewise, Yusuf Qaradawi who came over here to the embrace of many on the left, and his organisation, who said some appalling things”
“…Qaradawi who found the embrace of Ken Livingstone”
“Would you have a problem with the members of Hamas, for example, who are holocaust deniers and believe there should be the death penalty for homosexuals?”
“…so it’s just the far right? You don’t have a problem with the far left or Islamism?”
Alan; “Oh yes……UKIP…aren’t they just the same as Le Pen’s National Front?…[would you like to ban them as well]?”
Was a question put towards the UAF member. You don’t understand the concept of a proposition put forward as a question?
    You are really that stupid?

  15. Paul says:

The UK Independence Party does not have a policy that supports a complete ban on the niqab or burqa. Lord Pearson supported its banning, but lots of people within UKIP at the time disagreed with him. Farage’s position on it is that neither should be banned altogether, but rules that apply to other British citizens must apply to Muslims too. So I suspect that, much like Pat Condell, they would support a ban of the wearing of these horrible, anti-female garments in places like schools, hospitals, post offices, police stations and other Government buildings (and supermarkets and other private places would be empowered to ban them – much like the balaclava is not tolerated now – if they should wish it). That’s the crucial difference.

    • dez says:

      Thanks for clearing that up!

      • John Anderson says:

        A remicence.

In 1975 I was posted into the Cabinet Office – in the Home Affairs Secretariat. One of my jobs was secretary of the “Population Panel” – an exercise by the Central Policy Review Staff to assess population forecasts. towards 2000.

By that time it was clear to the man-in-the-street that immigration and associated birthrates portended a very large non0indigenous population by the end of the century. Vut the draft report by the CPRS plasyed all that down – maybe scared of being labelled “Powellite”, The figures were clear to see – but the Panel airbrushed most of it.

That is how it works on the inside – it still works that way. Deliberate blindness and obfuscation. Refusal to face the truth.

In the event the figures are now far far worse. But it is still bad form to even suggest that Enoch Powell was raising the right questions.

The BBC let’s everyone know how islam how moved on and is now touchy feely. Throwing gays from the highest point is so very last week.

There is now, in Europe for the first time, a gay mosque. You see how moderate islam is now? This mosque is currently situated within a Buddhist prayer hall.

  19. David Brims says:

If the UAF really cared about their fellow man, they would protest against muslim preachers who are anti gay, anti women, anti jew, anti Christian, but they don’t, so they’re full of bullshit.

If you look at Martin Smith of the UAF ( he’s been accused of rape ) he should be sectioned under the mental health act.

  20. ltwf1964 says:

just as a complete aside……just seen that hate filled twat mehdi Hasan on ITV.billed as “political editor of huffington post UK”

if you never read HP,you wouldn’t have to after seeing that

  21. David Brims says:

The Mehdi Hasan creep, thinks that ”we’re all kafirs, non muslims live like animals.”

And the BBC puts this nasty piece of work on Question Time

  22. chrisH says:

I know it`s a bit of a tenuous stretch to link my story with Marine…but it was while looking at this story on the Mails website that I got this one, so bear with me…and, yes I know Dez…”not BBC related”-nor will it ever be I`d imagine! You`ll see why!
It concerns some scummy waster called Armitage who neglected a poor nice cat called Harry( was only drawn to it, because he looks like the one we lost!). The bloke`s an absolute dissolute wastrel( not Harry, let me add in case Chrissie Hynde ever reads this!).
The court fined him £200(which we all KNOW he`ll be paying), but get this-there`s a £15 victim surcharge attached to it!
Safe to say that there`ll be no Charlotte Green reading this out on the News Quiz or which of the useless clapped lefty vehicles they shunt out on Fridays by way of “comedy”.
No…serious faces, which they seem to be wearing over Oscars case in Pretoria…comedy gold?…no, don`t think so!

Camerons hat in Amritsar though?..yuk, yuk(anybody ever laughed like that?).
No sirree-just more unfunny clapped out wealthy lefties like Hardy, Steel and Howard…and of course Brand if the “stuffs good in the green room, yeah?”
See-wasters at both ends of the economic spectrum…Armitage to Brand…that`s our inclusive BBC…all the way from A to..well B I suppose!
Think Radio 4 will ever want any of us …we`re cheap!

    • chrisH says:

Now on reflection…even the BBC don`t use Mark Thomas as a “comedian”…despite him flying under this facecloth of convenience himself. The BBC does have standards…of a kind in this case at least!
Oh no…Lenny Henry, Red Nose day coming,,,eeek!

  23. thoughtful says:

Some comments on here about how can David Cameron allow the BBC to carry on with their extreme left wing bias, how little they know about David Cameron!

The facts are that in social policy Cameron is also a left wing extremist! Being from a wealthy & privilidged background he wants to keep as much of the wealth he has been given (note not earned) and left wing economic policy threatens that.

Cameron was one of a handful of MPs who were signtories to the founding charter of the UAF (unite against freedom) far left violent activists. Note that the Labour party front bench are not represented, and the truth is that Cameron is more to the left that the Labour party of the time!

You’ll find his name on the left about halfway down

    • Albaman says:

You argue that the BBC has an “extreme left wing bias” and that in social policy Cameron is a “left wing extremist”. How does that match with the constant claims here that the BBC are biased against Cameron and his governments policies.

      • Demon says:

Alby, you have a minor point here. Apart from his membership of the neo-nazi UAF (the one aspect of him that the BBC don’t attack) he doesn’t display far-left tenedencies. He is much more centrist, or left-of-centre than that.

The reasons that the BBC attack him so much is that he represents the Conservative Party, which at one glorious time was centre-right (now no longer, unfortunately) and that even left-of-centre is too far right for the BBC to allow to go unpunished.

      • chrisH says:

Oh Albaman, you`ve picked the wrong day for this maybe?
I have heard the Todays Rolling Thunder Review?Never ending tour since 6a.m now( no, pro-bono!).
Have you been listening to this squit of a story about IVF?
The poor little cloud seemed to gather alittle moisture when Jim(or John) trumped this little nugget around 6.
Oh but look-only a couple of hundred women(probably blokes too if the BBC have their way!) will be getting it, for the number of women eligible and able to apply for IVF now the upper limit is 42(yippee!)and not 39(boo). And that`s only if the fatter ones lose a bit, don`t smoke, have not troubled the NHS on its last egg run?milk round…how many women( no, you cant` count anything other either!) do you think this will benefit?
No Albaman…YOU go and find out! This Public Service Announcement is a sweet little truffle well seeking.
Oh f***in hell…the BBC have already got all their interviews, their pieces from poor Judy who had to go private way back, the GPs Alliance or whatever…all morning , on the hours and in the middle…not enough time for Islam, for the EU ,for O`Farrell/Thatcher and Tebbit…not when there Lansdales phone number to get, or Grays licence plate to note eh?
So this poor daamp little cloud floats along, and poor Humphrys blows hard, blusters, Jim gets a bit squally… but, f*** me this story now matters to no-one but Ant or Decs (which one?) wife by now…and three more f***in hours to pad our, displaying this little pink party balloon and pretending its the Graf Zeppelin…ye Gods, all the BBC warm wet hot air of all those “staffers ans stiffies”(S.S) couldn`t blow life into this one…f***in punctured from the start.
Still…turned out nice again…not a cloud in the sky, but the BBC will huff and puff all day for you benefit Albaman.
What a day…if anybody DOES know a woman(or let`s face it,bleeding anybody) who fits all those PCTs, NIHCE criteria…39-42 etc, etc…PLEASE tell your BBC soon as as high up the newsboard food chain as you can…they are DESPERATE!
Send for Ronnie Ancona, get wigs and make up…how many does she do?
Oh f***…how olds Stanley Baxter now then!
Wet, wet wet…not the band, just the BBC…all that handwringing I expect and Jane Garveys tears or Shelagh Delaneys trousers!
How`s that mouse?and did anybody bother to feed him when they had that strike,
        Best dash…matrons got some Horlicks!

        • AsISeeIt says:

Ah nice crafty gambit : extend NHS IVF to over 40 white middle class women. Well what else does the brown baby production line / white pensioner deletion line NHS do for us – they might otherwise start to think?
Us too! Say the over 40 white gay boys. Don’t leave us to pay BUPA, we love the State too!

        • Albaman says:

“Best dash…matrons got some Horlicks! ” ……………. I am not a doctor but in my opinion I think you need something stronger than Horlicks.

          • chrisH says:

            And why not Albie?
There may well be a few openings round Lincolnshire and Staffs , if we`re ever able to get justice.
Get studying lad, lifelong learning remember?
Don`t waste your time, on t`likes of me?
Any Radio 4 comedy scripts in for you , by the way?

        • Guest Who says:

‘a couple of hundred women(probably blokes too if the BBC have their way!) ‘
Ye jest, but the SKY morning anchor and Stonewall spokesman…person.. man got into exactly this.
I was still wiping my breakfast off the screen from the Burley-clone solemnly intoning that some media had turned the Pistorius trial into a circus after their latest failed, unintelligible OB from there, and a piece on child poverty sandwiched without irony between who would be getting a new 4G phone and the latest PlayStation.
One cannot wait for the unqualified opinion of some on that, too.

          • chrisH says:

It`s that Costello thing isn`t it?
“Do we try to be disgusted…or do we try to be amused”?
Think the latter from all the stuff you`ve said…Comedy Central, but in all the places where it`s not supposed to be!
Spreading the laughter in all those sad, dark places eh?….let Albie tell them!

      • thoughtful says:

And here you think there’s a point? Cameron is not the Tory party although he is the leader. You will not hear criticism of the social policies of the government such as continued mass immigration or gay marriage because the bBC approve of those. They will seek to criticise policies which they even agree with in an effort to discredit the Tories, or promote Labour.

They HATE the economic policies, which to be honest is hardly surprising when the Tories do ridiculous things like cutting the top rate of tax while raising it on the poor.

So we end up with attacks from the bBC on anything right of centre such as the Daily Mail or UKIP and anyone perceived to have ‘Tory’ values.

Only yesterday a story about an unmarried mother of 11 having a mansion built for her carried in many papers was totally rebutted by the bBC who thought it was only right she was given every luxury imaginable.

Sometimes they will find a Tory MP who disagrees with the bBC view and invite them onto the program in order to attack those views and by inference the larger party.

        • Albaman says:

“Cameron is not the Tory party although he is the leader.” ………………….. Yes, the leader as voted for by MP’s representing the Tory Party and subsequently by members of the Tory Party in the contest with Davis.

  24. Herman says:

Another Alan special, makes little or no sense and seems no connection between his points.

‘no Muslim can be ‘extreme’ in the BBC ‘style guide’’

Can you point us to where it says that in the style guide. You wouldnt just make that shit up would you?

  25. George R says:

MARINE LE PEN at Cambridge University.

    Two contrasting reports:

    1.) ‘France 24’:-

    2.) BBC-NUJ:-

    • George R says:

Of course, the anti-Marine Le Pen propaganda of BBC-NUJ reflects the NUJ political bias against such political organisations as not only the Front National of France, but also the English Defence League.
This contrasts with NUJ support for UAF and e.g. Hamas.
