OBAMA “WINS”?

Interesting set of headlines from the BBC this morning on the deal passed in Congress last evening. Today informed me that it was “Game, Set and Match” to Obama; it also added that “Obama has won” and  that “Obama would not be compromising in two months time of spending cuts”. I wonder if the Democrats just send the BBC press releases to read out as “news”? Incredible pro-Obama headlines from the strictly impartial  State Broadcaster.

It’s bullshit either way; the real problem remains untouched: excessive spending.

I have already seen photos of Obama with his hand held high in ‘victory’, more MSM shit.

I wish it were possible to give a thumbs-up to a post, as well as a comment!

This morning’s display of BBC Obama worship has been outstanding even for them!

Yes, I, too, noticed that the BBC were on an all out Left-wing assault and not just in their gushing “Obama has secured a win over the Republicans…” (BBC Breakfast reporter, this morning) nonsense. Additionally, they allowed on some union leader who was effectively given free reign to openly blamed the appallingly poor morale of England and Wales’ teachers on the Government – forgetting to highlight that what is really driving people from the profession is a complete collapse in discipline and dumbing down of the curriculum, due largely to Labour.

It shows just how much devotion to The Obamessiah there is at the BBC. He won, ergo the economy will be fixed. Nothing to do with what’s actually happened or going to happen with taxes and spending. He won this fight, so all is well.

We’re through the looking glass now.

It seems pretty pervasive across the entire media estate, but there are glimmers.
Just as Tim Marshall can often inject a slight dose of reality into matters ME, some Scots economic/politics chappie was actually trying to explain the situation to Kay Burley, but her brain cell was still on 2012 time.
How these experienced, talented guys cope with being the ones stuck on location while focus group-reassuring sides of mutton get the anchor slots is beyond me.

Technically, it is a temporary “win” for the President. He got to publicly punish the evil rich. That’s all He’s ever cared about. Even Mark Mardell has admitted (yesterday morning, on Today) that the President isn’t going to agree to any spending cuts, either. So He does not want to fix the our debt problem, or somehow believes that He can spend His way out of it. Which means He’s been lying all along (Mardell nearly said as much) about wanting a “balanced” approach.

We’re past any pragmatic approach to spending cuts. The man who criticized George Bush and the Republicans for wanting to raise the debt ceiling and increase the debt as “unpatriotic” is now demanding that we spend money we don’t have more than ever before. It’s all about ego now, about punishing enemies, about victory at all costs. But you will not see any criticism of that from Mardell or anyone at the BBC.

Here’s a link to a video of Candidate Obamessiah in 2008 saying that borrowing money from China to max out our debt is wrong. This isn’t Fox News telling me what to think, this isn’t propaganda from Breitbart. This is the man Himself contradicting what He’s just told the world.

Where’s the BBC on this? Why is nobody calling Him on it?

Again, I think ‘unique’ about covers it.
Or, in this case, doesn’t, if you get my drift.

Bearing in mind the plans for the Presidential Retirement Palace that came out last year (when he looked like being the one-termer he so richly deserved to be), plus what his delightful wife was earning at her non-job telling sickly indigents to go elsewhere for treatment, there’s got to be a heady possibility that The One’s income puts him squarely in this bracket, surely ? Though no doubt his money is printed by unicorns, smells of lavender and roses, and benefits all mankind even if it never leaves his own pockets.

He does righteous work, so deserves every penny. Doublethink is easy if you put your mind to it.

What’s really amusing is that now some on the Right are claiming this is actually a defeat for Him in the end. He had to cave on the $250K threshold, and His original demand for a $1.6 trillion overall tax increase (including capital gains and all the other stuff) has been whittled down to $600 billion. Not such an heroic triumph if you look at it like that.

The goal was to get a cosmetic class war victory, which He got. The end. That it doesn’t help the economy at all is entirely beside the point.

But of course, just like how “compromise” is defined by the Leftoid media as the Republicans giving the President 100% of what He wants, it’s “defeat” if the Republicans don’t get 100% of what they want. As an alternative to Mark Mardell’s expert analysis, one could just as easily say that the Republicans got His tax demands cut by nearly two-thirds, and forced Him to punt on spending increases. What a disaster for them, eh?

Yep, The One Won and will now have the chance to impose a great leap forward on the US economy….

…. so place your bets now for when the BBC will suddenly switch from hailing His victory over the redneck hordes to explaining how it would all have gone brilliantly if it wasn’t for those meddling Republicans and their partisan obstructionism.

They’ve been saying the latter for two years already. Daniel Nasaw even thought that the entire Congress was controlled by Republicans, and he’s an American.

At least some News Online editor recently realized that the BBC needs to point out that the Dems still control the Senate. They’ve been mentioning it lately, whereas it used to be all about the Republicans blocking His every move. They still haven’t reported that the Democrat-led Senate has defied the law for the last three years and not passed a budget, but, you know, baby steps!

This is straight from the Today programme summary of what was discussed at 7.09am:
“The fiscal deal a few hours ago gives President Barack Obama a solid victory as he looks towards his second term in office. He has raised taxes on the rich – which is what he wanted to do, and what some Republicans had said they would not allow. Taylor Griffin, a Republican strategist has worked on campaigns and in the White House.”

To be fair, there have been no cuts, and there have been tax rises, so you could say Obama won. I guess that is why the news is telling us ‘some Republicans are angry and refuse to vote’.
I think the next negotiations is where the action is, the Reps will dig their heels in and it will be their turn, expect substantial spending cuts.
I wonder how the Beeb will spin THAT as a win for the chosen one?

No spending cuts, but no spending increases, either. Who wins on that score, exactly? And the President had to cave on His tax threshold and nearly doubled it. Who wins on that score, exactly?

In any case, notice what the actual victory is: punishing the rich, not actually doing anything to fix the economy. Yet we’re still supposed to believe that He wants to fix the economy.

If this was such a resounding victory for the President, and a crushing defeat of the Republicans, apparently pushing the party to the brink of self-immolation, why did the President not even want to sign the bill? He instructed His minions to have it done by auto-pen.

Unlike all His other triumphs, there was no photo op, no grandstanding, no nothing. He ducked out on this one and let the machine do it. It’s very curious that He’s not treating it like the victory Mardell and Co. are selling it as. I mean, He was “praising” it yesterday, no?

I guess he was too busy writing out His lengthy disclaimer for the defense spending bill He actually did sign yesterday. Not much of a triumph for Him there, either, seeing as how He practically calls it unconstitutional, possibly taking away some of His power.

Things not adding up to the Narrative here. BBC: ZZZzzzzzzz
