LEFTY COLUMNIST: WE DOMINATE BBC FLAGSHIP NEWS

Following Jeremy Clarkson’s comments about the strikers on The One Show yesterday, outraged Liberal Conspiracy editor and Guardian contributor Sunny Hundal tweeted:

He received many replies, not least from fellow lefty and Guardian columnist Deborah Orr (wife of Will Self, one of the BBC’s favourite “controversial” lefties):

“We dominate the really serious flagship slots.”

Orr is only scratching the surface, but it’s interesting to see an insider’s take from within the metropolitan lefty media bubble that confirms what we’ve been saying all along.

Clarkson’s most valuable function is to needle the po-faced, every-orifice-puckered, censorous thought police. Prod! And there they are…

George Osborne should be executed in front of his family.
        Alongside David Cameron.
        That’s a “joke”.

Gordon Brown should apologise for being the worst chancellor ever and bankrupting the country. He should also give up his pension and hand over his assets to pay down the government debt.
    That isn’t a joke.

Of course, the difference between these kinds of ‘controversial & outrageous’ comments by the two Jeremys is that Clarkson is rarely serious about his targets, whereas Hardy often seems to genuinely hate those at whom he directs his ire.

I am amazed though that people on the right like Clarkson are not more aware of the minefields put down by the BBC and those lefties.

Anyone who goes on one of these shows needs to be aware tha the left will be out to get them.

Game show Nikki, Bacon, Paxman and QT all look to set up right wingers for a fall.

Very true, Martin. Although Clarkson is that rarity in our oh so sensitive, politically correct age where everyone in a public position constantly self-moderates lest they upset those whose profession is to be permanently upset – he’s fearless and simply doesn’t give a shit. It’s the main reason he’s so popular amongst many who are weary of the shreiking moral outrage speech police.

Complaints over Clarkson strike comments reach 21,000

LOL! Not content with a day off striking now they”re being led like lemmings to complain (you know they’re led due to teh number, once again they’ve over done it, had they chosen a reasonable 5 or 6 thousand you could actually believe it was individuals acting individually.

  4. As I See It says:

Clarkson is in many ways a BBC creation.

If the BBC did not continually ramp up and enforce such a climate of PC on Britain then this man’s persona as the lone iconoclast would be redundant.
